Morrisons Cafe in Glasgow City

The ultimate breakfast was very good and was served quickly. The potato scones though, just really dry I don't think they fry them just seem to heat them, probably a healthy thing, but then you get fried bread. Price was great. Just the tottie scones let it down.

The food wasn’t that bad . Except the lady charged me for child food when specifically was saying is free with an adult meal . About cleanness… well this place need a big clean. Kids high chairs were absolutely filthy, I couldn’t put my daughter in it so she can eat properly. Please please clean the place out 🤮

Dreadful. Ages and ages to get serves. No service with a Smile..... All of order not fulfilled. DREADFUL. Awful again, Tables not cleared or wiped, Coffee Machine not working.

I ordered 2 baked potatoes when arrived not right order what I asked for and potatoes were hard.

Chips just cooked, a little bit soggy not crisp. Well you can see the egg.... looked crispy but wasn't. I think the yoke had broke so they turned it upside down. For breakfast sausage, it did have a passable texture and taste. Beans were beans. For the money it was what you would expect - so no complaints here. Had better at other Morrisons (and worse). Staff on their way back to the kitchens happily missed finished with plates. Only gave me one HP sauce sachet. Toilets out of order still since my last visit.

Got this today at Morrisons Patrick and shocking the ham tasted off and the hardly any cheese on it. Waste of money

I ordered the Ultimate Breakfast and a coffee. The lady stated it would be about 15 minutes which isn’t ideal, but at least they told me before I ordered. Staff were pleasant and appeared pleasant and helpful to all other customers too. No cutlery provided with the food, so had to retrieve them. Choice of one fork only, plenty of knives, no teaspoons. Sat down at table and realised there was no salt, pepper etc. further trip to retrieve these. Five minutes after breakfast arrived, still no coffee. Further journey to let staff know, where they reported coffee was self service. Ok, but should really be told when ordering. Checked cutlery again. Still no teaspoons, so chose table spoon. First one encrusted with dry, hardest food. Chose another one, which was fine. Breakfast portions were fine, but bacon and sausages appeared undercooked. Managed t get three quarters of the way through first sausage, but encountered a vein within the sausage meat, so left the other two sausages. Bacon was pale and unappetising, but tasted ok. Other items seemed fine. Cafeteria was cold (outside temperature was 16) and air con was on full blast above my table, which caused food to become cold very quickly. From past visits, I knew it wasn’t a great cafeteria, but has previously been bearable. This time around though, it was apparent that it has further deteriorated. Quality of the food appeared poor judging by the vein in the sausage. Made a decision this time around that I won’t be back. Staff were pleasant and helpful, but just far too many issues with the cafeteria for me to give them another chance. To be fair, it’s not a restaurant, it’s just a cheap, basic cafeteria. As such, I wasn’t looking for quality. However, I was quite shocked by just how bad it actually was.

Went to the cafe to get something to eat for the kids nothing in for eating wasn’t happy

Advertised everywhere as opening 8 am including Morrisons website. Turn up 08:30 - closed. Customer service desk advice:. "Oh if it's not open, it must be 9 am opening.'

If your ordering a breakfast dont order a fried egg. Mines was not cooked it was all runny and mushy.🤮

what food it is .. good food in dirty cheap price. it is clean n tidy.. currently its providing 50 percent discount on each day. thus my friend and I decided to make the most out of it. we have ultimate Scottish breakfast & Fish n chips with coffee &hot chocolate

Love love love Morrisons cafe. Spotlessly clean fantastic staff and the food no matter if it's breakfast lunch or dinner or even just a nice cuppa tea and sandwich it's always fresh looks good tastes great. What more can you ask for.

Really nice and warm place to have breakfast or lunch, he fish and chips really good! Always glad to return here.

A broad range of food, from simple sandwiches to full meals, soups and desserts allows you to enjoy just what you fancy! Their coffee is also remarkably good. It's self-service, although I frequently see the staff helping elderly and disabled people. The prices are excellent. The only drawback is that, at very busy times, you may have a ten minute wait in the checkout queue and it can be difficult to find a free, clean table.

Good value and decent service for a proper fried breakfast.

Waited 45 minutes for a cooked breakfast and when it arrived half the items where missing. Never again.

Thus has to be the most nastyest greasy spoon that I've ever been to. Came here on Sunday the 31st of march earlyer morning and still waited 45 minutes for a cooked breakfast. The tables you could tell had not been cleaned in a while and had to clean it myself. When the breakfast arrived on a cold plate it was obvious right away that they didn't have several items that was listed as included but didn't inform you before purchase. The breakfast served was just warm l think it didn't help that the food was served on a cold plate. This is my first time here for food and will for sure bey last.

We use this cafeteria in Partick almost every day when we come to Glasgow ,which is roughly three times a year, for three weeks each time. Alison the manageress,Anne, Claudina, Rose, Christina, Mathew & Liam thank you for your service with a smile, you really make coming to Morrison's a pleasure. I just wish Morrison's would put Scotch Pies on the menu as we as visitors really love them & as they are available in the store I'm sure it wouldn't be too much of a problem for them. Come on guys standards have seriously slipped. I use the cafe regularly and enjoy my sandwich, chips and tea. Came last Wednesday and couldn’t find 1 table that was clean/cleared so I opted for the least messy but had to call a waitress over to clear it away. In today again and writing this review as I sit in the cafe. Fancied an eggs benedict but would have to wait 15 minutes so I said I’d have my usual sandwich and chip only to be told that would be 15 minutes too so just had a sandwich. Loads of empty tables but not 1 cleared. I opted yet again for the least messy and instead of the waitress clearing tables that customers were sitting at, cleared the rest. People are still moving dirty plates with food from 1 table to another, not good!
