Morrisons in Babergh

The two Ladies serving today and the Chef need special praise as they were absolutely fabulous. This was on 02/10/2024. Really love it here.

Lovely breakfast especially considering the price, staff are friendly and helpful . It's in a Morrisons so the atmosphere is how you would expect it to be busy and noisy but that's normal for a supermarket café.

Only ever have very limited menu even though these been a new menu, staff are very rude and arrogant Not how it used to be

Luke warm food, sausages low quality, coffee Luke warm. I won’t go back I’m afraid. People nice enough

The food is nearly always cold. My latest experience was poached eggs on toast. The eggs where overcooked and rather dull looking, as with the cafe, they where cold!!. Tesco at Copdock is a far better cafe.

Came in at 10 minutes past 2 and was told the hot food had stopped at 14:15. The website states 14:30. She took the one vegetarian free child's meal away while we were about to pick it up. Certain hot drinks not available either. Terrible service and rude people.

picked up a meal for two rum and pepsi and passing by the cake area i asked if they done a banoffi pie my fave..lady on cake area didnt hesitate and said she would make me one right away....all done and i asked if it was made with love lol..she fullfilled my wishes..just ate it for dessert it was lush..thank you..she will know me if u mention butterscotch tart !

Food Is average. Service slow. Atmosphere very busy and noisy due to cafe being in Morrisons.

The staff at Morrisons cafe Hadliegh are wonderful , but the actual cafe is absolutely appalling ! None of the coffee machines were working a usual , the staff were putting coffee in cups for customers , the lady on the till was also serving out the meals as well despite huge ŕows of people waiting to put in an order at the counter , she always has a smile on her face , the way they are treated as staff is appalling . Morrisons ought to be ashamed of themselves , for running their cafes in such a disgusting way ! Nowhere else would be left open now , come on Morrisons do something about it ! And stop expecting your ustomers and staff to put up with such horrendous conditions , we are paying for this !

Just had food here and it was excellent....my place to go Hadleigh********

I ordered an ultimate breakfast with extra scrambled egg and extra bacon, didn't come with a fried egg which is how I ordered it, 2 bits of bacon served in a bowl which made most of the breakfast inedible as the water from the scrambled egg was being soaked up by everything. Did not enjoy my breakfast at all and spent over £10

Slow service at till. No cutlery and mugs available

The gents toilet are a disgusting mess, urine all over the floor, things out of order. Cafe food was horrible, coffee machines out of order, cutlery dirty, tables not cleared or cleaned. Short sell by dates on loads of products in store. Place feels like it's closing down!

Got there for lunch around 1pm. My expectations are low as been to other cafes in other stores. Several things on the menu they didn't have. All type of Burgers, roast dinner, coffee. No cups no cutlery, tables all full of trays and pretty dirty.The food was terrible. Customer service, well needs improvement. This is a supermarket they can just get something from there. Why they run out of things. Also two people only working there. TBH I have tried the cafe at Norwich and Dereham stores . They are all pretty bad but this one, it's just a bit worst. Morrisons, there is no point to have cafes open with poor service & food throughout. Make a smaller menu which actually you can provide it. If needs to be charge more. Won't be coming back in a rush. It's not rock science to make a store cafe work...

Thought the staff were lovely...excellent 2 course lunch for £6....delicious hot food....very welcoming indeed. Will call again as I don't live in Hadleigh.....thank you xxx

So dirty , dusty on edging on table divider , had to use screen which was filthy and cutlery tray needs a wipe out . Menus are covered in , everything so dirty. Floor slippery just glad my nan was in a wheelchair so she couldn't fall. Place needs a deep clean . Staff lovely and friendly . Food better at Ipswich morrisons cafe but slow there to come out as took 50 minutes last time

food came out cold and large breakfast may as well be called small breakfast

Probably not most peoples choice, but Morrisons cafes offer really good value for money and a decent choice of menu - great if you are stuck, after which you might find yourself going there more frequently.

Morrisons are the best large supermarket when it comes to eating as they do take things seriously. The menus is comprehensive, and though one could not define their food offerings as fine dining, it is remarkably good value for what you receive. Their breakfasts are excellent, with some available all day, and their toasted sandwiches with chips and salad very good indeed. For lunch, their lamb shank is really tasty, as is their fish and chips.

Service was 0k but food I received was absolutely non edible sausages were black fried egg dried up and chips cold.

Good display of food not too expensive.

The quality of the food in the cafe has deteriated over the last 12 months. Even their famous fish and chips is poor and tasteless.

Rude staff, hardly any food available. Terrible place.

It wasn't good! They didn't have two mains that we asked for, and the cashier's attitude was awful! She shouldn't be working with the public, as she was curt to me and to two members of my family! We won't eat in the Hadleigh branch again! The staff were also standing around looking and talking about us!

Always good food in Morrisons cafe

This is your average supermarket although quite a few items are made in store, such as Pizzas and bread. Good selection of ready made meals and the usual array of standard items on the shelves.

As far as staff is concerned over all Morrisons is my favourite store, no comparison with Hadleigh's only other supermarket! A regular shopper I will occasional eat in the cafe. In the main, the staff there are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately this does not always follow through with the quality of the meal. Even during a slack time service can be slow, or, the food can arrive at table over cooked, or nearing cold. Conversely a good hot meal will arrive by a congenial member of staff. Swings and roundabouts.

Food is so bad don't waste your time

Very busy but despite awqward customers wanting to mix and match and pressuring the staff they remained smiling and the food was very good

Excellent café; staff always helpful and polite; food equally good.

Absolutely disgusting. No straws, no cutlery and what there was available, was dirty. Waited over forty minutes for a bowl of soup!!! No apology or explanation. Then found hair in my food!!!!!

Easy local place for a good breakfast when I'm out early

We was in Morrison's in hadleigh today for a coffee there was flies walking all over the cups and the coffee machines which is pretty gross when there is food about I spoke to the girl who said they r having a problem with flies but as a regular customer this has been going on for sometime it would be nice if someone sorted this problem out .

Price is great for a quick bite

Had a few meals in Morrisons now. All been good for price.

Lovely fresh cooked breakfast although the egg whites were not cooked right on top so the egg was abandoned. Staff really friendly and helpful, and the cafe was clean and tidy! Nice quiet breakfast

very helpfull staff - always well stocked up shelves. the restaraunt is great for choice of menu & prices. - enjoy the coffee. ideal facilities for the disabled . Always has something on special offer

Place was filthy,floor looked like it hasn't been cleaned for weeks.My husband ordered the breakfast but couldn't eat most of it as it was over cooked.Will not be going there again

It's all just a bit naff and dated. The coffee is poor and the choice of deserts is limited

Lovely meals at bargain prices! Lot's of menu choice, even list the amount of calories in each meal. Gluten free options too! My husband and I travel 25 miles especially to have a meal there and we do our shopping afterwards :)

On the border of the town stands Morrisons the largest supermarket in Hadleigh nicely laid out inside. There is a café of which you can get a variety meals.
