Order on line told 45 min delivery more like 90 minutes ring them twice to be told it was on its way

Terrible, ordered food simple food large donner kebab that wasn’t even done probably donner kebab wasn’t even in the pitta was just left on top and simple stated garlic mayo and lettuce only with it but gave the lettuce with loads off tomato on top even when stated due to my allergies with tomatoes shocking the salad literally stunk so bad !! The pizza was all side ways and clearly just rushed into bag as seen many reviews with the same situation either stick to the box or just mashed up ,Said will be with me in 45min but took over 1 hour and 30 minutes had to call up twice and same response has left and will be with u in 5 minutes but took 30 minutes just shocking service one off the worst place round here will no longer order from here getting worse and worse each time also forgot the drinks not the first time they forget things happens all the time

Quite a regular customer, however as of late, our experience hasn't been the best. The quality of the food is still quite of a high standard, however I can't remember a time they have got an entire order correct. We frequently order cheesy chips, but despite paying extra for cheese, we hardly ever receive cheesy chips. We always tick the Chip spice box( don't know why it's an option) because they never put it on, or they put it on the wrong item. Like I said, the food quality is still nice, just wish we didn't waste money paying for extras which we don't receive.

This place has really gone down hill as of late. Their pizzas used to be the best around for miles. Nice crisp bases and not overloaded with cheese. However I have ordered twice from here in the past week and been very disappointed. The first qas a 15inch half and half. The base was absolutely saturated in grease, no crisp to it at all and because of the grease the toppings slid straight off the pizza. The second time, this evening. I thought I would try again with a smaller pizza under the assumption maybe the bigger size was difficult for them to maintain their usual crispy base. I even opted for the thin Italian in the hope I would receive a nice crisp base. What arrived was literally swimming in grease, and by thin Italian they really take the piss. It was practically the thickness of a tortilla wrap. I used to love this place and was more than happy to pay their prices which are higher than most of the other local pizza places. But that will be the last of it from me now. Disappointed.

Absolutely disgusting and disappointing food was cold when arrived and wrong! Had to ring for them to change it after waiting an hour. When the second lot come it was still cold. Wouldn’t order from here again, absolutely horrible waste of money

Never really had a problem before with this takeaway but the past 2 times I’ve ordered my food has turned up freezing wouldn’t advice on getting your food delivered

I paid extra for something and never got it I paid for extra double chicken burger but only received 1 chicken inside this hasn’t been the first time this has happened very annoying as u wouldn’t spend £7+ on just a burger and chips you would want the full thing u paid for , and only ordered 2 things and still got it wrong

Ordered earlier tonight, regular customer. What a let down food took more than 60 mins to arrive and was lukewarm instead of piping hot.

1 & 1/2 hour delivery burnt wedges, tasteless chicken and cold pizza won't be ordering from them again or recommend them to anyone.

So annoying paid £30+ for something that wrong put all paprika all over chips in every meal even tho wasn’t was only selected for 1 meal not everyone wants that all over the food, and also didn’t add the bbq sauce for the wings even tho it should come with it.. don’t normally have problems but today I did clearly don’t read notes also

First time I've ordered pizzas luke warm chips cold garlic mayo like water £35 wasted

Ordered a donner kebab and a pizza the kebab meat was like cardboard like it was cut off yesterday it was wafer thin,by far the worse kebab I’ve ever had the pitta bread was stale and just fell apart in my hand. My wife ordered a piazza and it was cold. Used to be a great pizza and nice kebab but won’t be ordering again I feel like I’ve been robbed with how bad it was. I like my food and I chucked it away the best part was the garlic mayo. I’ve had some bad takeaways but that was by far the worse

Probably the best in the area,I’ve tried most takeaways around thorne moorends and even staintthorth ,pizza was nice fresh dough and tasted good chicken wrap was decent although on the smaller side the taste makes up for it and also my wife had the chicken burger and fries she said it was nice also the fries are very tasty everything came within an hour of ordering and every item piping hot so would deffo order again 100percent thankyou

my favourite takeaway, wont have a takeaway from anywhere else now.. always ready to collect after 10/15 minutes, regardless of what day it is, only downside is that its not open everyday.

I have placed countless orders with this place since I moved to the area. It is by far the best local pizza! I have tried nearly every local pizza and this is hands down the best! Out of the 30+ orders I have only ever had one issue! And they sorted that out asap! have never had it arrive cold! I highly recommend this place! Can not wait for it to be taking orders again to get my fix! The chips with chips spice are the best too. Burgers and kebabs from here are always spot on, by far best takeaway in the area!

We have ordered takeaway from a few time and it’s been lovely but the last couple of times it’s gone down hill, it’s like the staff are not bothered about customer service. Our order had a few items and this was done through the online order system, not only do they charge £1.50 delivery but then they add service charge so you’ve spent £2/£2.50 before even ordering food. We were told that it would be around 1 hours wait. After 1 hr 10 mins our food turned up, the garlic bread was missing, this was one persons meal and not sharing so that one person could not eat with the rest of the family. We contacted the place to inform them and was told it would be sorted, 20/25 mins later the missing Garlic bread arrived. You would assume a new one would have been made but unfortunately not, it was stone cold. The first delivery guy had driven around the village with the missing item then they had waiting till he got back to the pass to another delivery guy who fetched delivered passing it off as one that they had made. The time before we ordered it was cold too and when ringing you can’t hear a bad temper person in the back ground. Will definitely not order from these in future and will go elsewhere and I’d advise others to do the same.

Order from here most Saturday nights, food is always quick and freshly cooked. Ryan who mostly delivers to us is a really polite and friendly guy. Highly recommended.

I'm sorry to say I'm having to change my review I had to wait over an hour and half for food and everytime I rang they said next delivery, they didn't Evan know what address when I asked this then said ok it's not left the shop he would deliver it will be 5 mins. sorry theres no possible way to get from moorends to my address in 5 mins complete sham then the driver left food in bar below where I live and a customer contacted me to tell me I had a pizza there 😡

I’ll give food 4 stars and the staff who helped me rectify an order this evening but the fact I could hear the very arrogant and rude delivery driver down the phone kicking off as he has to deliver something again is not professional in any way! And he was also very rude when delivering food. You need to sort your delivery drives attitude out.

We ordered at 5 o clock and received it at 18.30 so 1.5 hours late and we received 2 burnt pizzas and a cold one. We called 3 times and asked where the orders are and 3 times we've only been told lies. Food was very soggy and bland. Wont ever order again.

I’ve probably had over a 1000 kebabs from many different takeaways, and moorends pizzeria has got the BEST out of all of them. The prices are also the cheapest. 10/10 everytime. Everything else is also a solid 10/10 💯

Ordered 2x pizza on line at 17.20 on Friday for delivery 19.00 had to ring up at 19.15 to be told it would be a couple of minutes 10 mins later delivery made. Pizza was cold and chips limp and cool. Got a refund but no apology apart from the delivery driver who brought the cash to the house. Very disappointed shall not order again from here

Normally their service is good, but not tonight took nearly 2 hours for an order to be delivered and when it came half of it was cold. Couldn't ring up as phone constantly engaged (which is not their fault), but wondered if it was due to people wondering where their orders were. Kids were that hungry that they ate it anyway. I know COVID has caused problems in places but two hours is a joke. Wouldn't have minded if they had forewarned me that it was such a long wait, but however we do expect hot fresh food especially when it was nearly a £40 order.

Very poor, been ordering here for a year, 2 months of poor quality, below standard cold and late food. Only willing to give half price food on next order after sending out cold food, I difnt want to order again and they refused a refund. Disgraceful!

I order pizzas from here and they’re normally quite nice but tonight I ordered a kebab and pizza and I’m quite disappointed. The kebab is dripping in grease, I understand kebab can be a little greasy but not how this was. There is a pool of grease at the bottom of the tray. I rang to ask for a refund, I was offered a fresh kebab which I declined as I didn’t want it to be the same but if I wanted a refund I would need to come into the shop as they don’t have a spare driver to deliver my refund?

As a regular customer I was extremely disappointed with tonight's order. I ordered online at 5.30pm, delivery was 45 mins apparently. After 1hr 15 mins and still no delivery I phoned, no apologies but was told pizza was out for delivery. I stated that I hoped food would be hot..... Assured it would be..... Delivery arrived 1hr 25 mins later..... Pizza luke warm, chips cold. Had to reheat obviously. Come on guys, this is not good and your staff who answer the phone should be polite, not making a good customer feel like they're in the wrong for chasing an order.

The staff are treated horribly. Hygiene needs sorting. Food has it's off days.

Ordered pizza and kebab DID NOT receive the free garlic bread as stated in the offer part of thier menu, when i asked about it i was asked to wait again or i could have a bottle of pop i declined both, 2 miles home and opened the order to find the kebab cold, NOT a good experience

Amazing food in general, personal favorite is 5piece chicken with chips, extra cheese and chip spice.

Ordered two calzones through there Web site on Saturday, it was delivered in a reasonable time, the standard one was a disappointment, and was tasteless, which we left alone, the garlic chicken one was nice.

Food ok , just dispointed that bread bun was soggy & chips cooked to many times to re- heat them up tasted foul . Delivery fast but inside staff always making mistakes forgetting food items and then expect you to wait for rest of your food to be delivered while rest is going cold ! Would be better if they had english speaking staff answering phone at all times . And if you complain about it they dont do owt about it all they want is ya money

Finally a takeaway that does excellent food ...pizzas are fresh.. burgers are handmade proper beef not frozen rubbish .. delivered when they said too, ill definitely be ordering from moorends pizzaria again.

Although the pizza I got was nice it wasn't what I ordered, I wanted onions and peppers on not just pepperoni, think the person taking orders needs to listen to their customers. Tried to phone and make them aware, and after trying 46 times of redialing I gave up trying
