Mooneys Cafe in Magherafelt

Called in with my wife for morning coffee. The service was extremely slow and staff were not very communicative. We ordered a slice of lemon drizzle cake and a scone with our drinks. The cake was stable and dry and the scone wasn’t fresh either.

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT Called here for lunch with my spouse and enjoyed a lovely lunch. We ordered the fry and panini & fries. The sausages tasted a little cheap and weren't to our taste but apart from that our meals were delicious. Very friendly and attentive staff. Will be back.

Mooneys is a little cafe set in the heart of Bellaghy, and it provides flavour some food. Friendly and cosy . Also Mooneys is just over the road from Seamus Heaney site.and near the chapel he was layed to rest . I love my Sunday Dinners here also . I would recommend Mooneys to any visitor.

Nice little place with good food and friendly staff.just a few steps from heaney centre. Beside 127 bus stop for access via castledawson park and ride to from belfast.

The crack is 90 , great pool table with happy faces & plenty of cold beers , this place is open till the last man drops
