This is one of my favourite breakfast places in Hoxton, with a decent vegetarian full English, good coffee, and very lovely and welcoming staff.

I sat outside with a smoke salmon and cream cheese bagel and with a slice of strudel and it was lovely. I just wish the mirror was lower in the toilet because I'm short.

Very good value lunch stop, plenty of tea in the pot, before heading to the Museum of the Home. Staff were all friendly and welcoming and the service was efficient. I was so impressed that I went back later for a decaff tea and a piece of the lovely plum cake.

One of our favourite places in Hoxton, staff always friendly and quick to take care of you. Food is good. Go most weekends, well family do.

Lovely food and great service. We had an almdudler, an Austrian coffee, the Fruhstuck and the full breakfast. Everything was lovey, the coffee was very good and strong too. The full breakfast was great, especially as someone that doesn’t eat pork. The fruhstuck was good too, particularly the jam and bread. The service was fantastic, they were very friendly and welcoming and we didn’t feel rushed even though it got quite busy during the brunch rush. Two mains and two drinks can to £33 all in.

This place is a gem! The staff was super sweet and the food was amazing, specially the platschinken with it's authentic apricot sauce was to die for! Do try their Viennese coffee if you are a coffee lover!

Went here with a friend, lived 10 minute from them for ages and oh my gosh the food was so tasty and so fresh. We also got an icetea to go and that was so refreshing. Highly recommended them and the staff were so lovely and friendly aswell which just made the experience even better.

Very disappointing experience here, this had been a favourite location of mine and I'd been here many times. I came for a coffee and was told to move after half an hour. Be sure to down your drinks quickly before you're told to jog on by the staff.

Cute little place serving amazing breakfast. The owner just makes you smile as soon as you walk in. The atmosphere feels so welcoming and comforting, it feels like you're having breakfast at home. And this feeling is also found in the food. From bagels to pancakes, all the food is delicious and full of love. The hot chocolate with cream is to die for. Nothing more to say, simply just come.

Lovely cafe with the friendliest staff 10/10 bagel

The three of us went today for the first time and it wont be the last. As we had already had lunch we thought we would just have coffee that was until we looked at the dessert menu it all looked good so it would have been rude not to try them... they were lovely my apple strudel will become my favourite we all enjoyed our what we had, the rest of the menu looked good too. The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble very friendly and make everyone feel special.

On top of that, the treats they serve (Pancakes, different flavoured ice cream, pastries, etc) are delicious. There really is something for everyone, if you want to have a coffee meet up with friends or just go to read a book. (They even have an ice cream for dogs, which my Yorkshire terrier loves!) You absolutely will not go wrong visiting this lovely place.

Just had my chicken wrap, exactly the one I was looking for. Good taste, fresh ingredients, nicely packed. Member of staff, served me, was very welcoming. Superb customer service. Will pop in next time, when around.

I discovered monalicious while I was working in the local area, and it quickly became a company favourite for us all - now I find that I’m even going on the weekends! I’ve made regular visits (namely for the divine vegan breakfast bagel and the Austrian pancakes!) and have been greeted every single time by the friendliest, most upbeat staff. I honestly can’t rave about it enough - delicious homemade food, great ambience, the most helpful staff and also, during COVID, a safe and clean feel. Would 10000% recommend!

Local cafe with passionate owners and an Austrian twist! Lived in Vienna for a few years, and can say their Wiener Melange is authentic 😉 Good, fresh food, very friendly staff.

Come to meet the most lovely staff, stay for the incredibly delicious food. I strongly advise to try the Austrian Frühstück (breakfast).

Have eaten here several times before. So great to return post lockdown. Carly is the most welcoming host I have ever encountered, and nothing is ever too much to ask. The Austrian Breakfast is a must, but everything on the menu looks delicious and fresh. Great veggie/vegan options where you don't feel like you are an after thought! Great social distancing and COVID-19 awareness.

Been here a few times both before and after lockdown. The service is amazing, the staff are so friendly and don't have a problem with my 2 year old running around. The food is fantastic, I've enjoyed everything I've tried. So many options on the menu for myself and my friend who is vegan. This has quickly become our new spot. The icecream is also delicious! My friend loves the vegan oreo milkshake. Will be back again soon!

Monalicious is our favourite cafe. Since our first visit last year, we came here every weekend. It is a real neighbourhood cafe with a great and welcoming atmosphere. The service is friendly and makes one feel like family within minutes. The food is delicious. All the dishes we tried so far were great. We especially like the sourdough with avocado and Austrian breakfast. The salads and omelets are lovely too. There are lots of vegan and gluten free options available as well. Every day there is a choice of amazing cakes. We liked the Sachertorte so much we decided to have it as our wedding cake! Additionally the prices are very reasonable, especially given the high quality of the food.

We visited Mona's today and had a delicious breakfast & Austrian chocolate cake! Lovely food, brilliant coffee and a warm cosy atmosphere - will definitely be going back! Thank you Mona & Carly!
