We stopped by here for lunch on our day trip to Bristol, so glad we did. Great service and the pasta was absolutely delicious. When we come back to England again, we are definitely stopping by here.

You won't find better service in Bristol than this place. The staff are clearly really passionate about what I assume is a family owned business, and it really shows. They were so welcoming to all of us, and especially my young son who was made to feel really welcomed with their friendly chat with him. I've not even got to the food yet! It's wonderful! We had pasta & pizza and all were delicious. Clearly hand made with good ingredients, and topped off with love and passion. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this place to anyone and everyone. Can't wait to return.

Went in Bank Holiday Monday for lunch, without a booking, and had one of the welcoming greetings ever. Absolutely delightful staff & the food was delicious and decently priced as well. Really good selection of flavours for the pizzas and one of our party was over the moon with the Ragu. Definitely my go to for when I next visit Bristol

Great Italian place with lots of vegan options available. The place seems quite authentic with a chaotic energy and the service was great.

Very good food, we tried the pizzas and they were very authentic and the portions are generous The desserts didn't excite me as much, the tiramisu was good but it left me a bit flat. The only bad thing is that it is somewhat expensive for what it is but being UK it is fine

Beautiful restaurant with wonderful helpful staff, delicious food and wine and a relaxed atmosphere. I was a bit nervous about dining alone, but I was made to feel really welcome.

The entire venue feels incredibly authentic and welcoming, from the moment we walked in we were greeted and shown to our table (booking is definitely a must! Even on a Monday night they were super popular!) by the friendly hosts. The menu has plenty to choose from and the pizzas are absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful, the decor charming and offering a truly authentic Italian vibe. It was very clear that the staff and the owner take great pride in the business and it was felt throughout our entire visit. Delicious food, great staff = 10/10!!

We were out walking and noticed this place had truffel pasta.... I love truffel pasta!! The staff was extremely nice and the food was "lick your plate" good.

It seems that the staff at this restaurant have absolutely no respect for their customers. As a tourist, if you don’t want to be treated disrespectfully, I suggest you leave this place off your list.

Fabulous food and the service was excellent. The owner is a gem, very friendly and clearly cares about his guests. The pizza dough is proper good, and they use good ingredients, so I’d say the higher-end price is justified

We visited early on a Saturday evening a few weeks ago. I’m glad we booked a table as we would not have got in otherwise. Everything about the place is charming; the service and the atmosphere are fab and welcoming. The food was sensational. My pizza was as good as any I’ve had in a long while. We had a great time, thank you.

Friday night dining was an incredible experience. We made a reservation in advance. The service standard from the young Maurizio was outstanding and he got us a beautiful upstairs table overlooking the fairy lights and the street. Both Alberto and Maurizio recommended the Mullet Roe Bottarga Pasta (Sardinian specialty) which was amazing. The Burrata was wonderful and so was the beef tartare pasta. We ended off with the pistachio dessert and Nutella pizza which topped it all off perfectly. A wonderful dining experience and we will be sure to be back again! Grazie Mille Maurizio

My gosh the person that welcomed us welcomed us like he knew us his entire life, the pasta was HEAVENLY, pizza dough was amazing and there was a whole huuuge vegan selection in the menu as well - cafe is super homey, interior is very cozy and even they reserved a seat for us outside despite them being super full and asked us to come back in 20 minutes to have our seat ❤️❤️

A Taste of Home in Bristol We were lucky to find Molto Buono, guided by a mix of Argentine spirit and Italian roots. From the moment we arrived, it felt like walking into a family home — warm, welcoming, and full of love. The pasta was some of the best we’ve had in Bristol, homemade and heartfelt. Franco and Amalia will never forget the kindness and attention from the amazing staff and the lovely family from room four. It wasn’t just a meal — it was a memory.

My favourite pizzeria outside Italy. Authentic Neapolitan pizza with fresh and crispy (but not too crispy) pizza base. Strongly recommend white base pizzas (especially Tartufona), although tomato sauce is also great. Takeaway pizza is also great experience, and there will not be a service fee. Tiramisu is not too sweet (the best word for an Asian when commenting on a dessert). Friendly and generous staffs deserve a highlight. They make me feel being in Italy.

The last time I came here was just before Covid hit the country. I liked it then. I returned two weeks ago with some friends and absolutely loved it. The typical Italian exuberance, matched with excellent pasta dishes, and when I asked for red wine to be cooked down, they went and got the bottle from the cellar, at the right temperature! Very positive atmosphere. My wife is half Sicilian and usually doesn't like going to Italian restaurants, but she loves this one!

We have tried to get in here before when visiting Bristol but it is always full, yesterday we tried to book, best time we could get was 9pm, but then they phoned me at 8pm and said someone had been quick and we could go earlier. Service was fast efficient and friendly. The food was very authentic Italian, not just a run of the mill pizza/pasta place. Superb burrata, so fresh and creamy, we shared that and foccacia between 3 of us as a starter. The pizza are excellent, really interesting range of red and white pizza on a delicious live sourdough. Will be back when we are next in Bristol visiting our son at Uni, but we know now...... book well in advance.

I went to Moltobuno most recently on Valentine’s Day with my girlfriend, and have previously been to this fine Italian restaurant throughout 2024. You can always count on the best in class service and top quality food to put a smile on your face, whatever the weather! I booked a table here in January for Valentine’s Day to ensure I had a nice restaurant booked for dinner that evening to celebrate the occasion with my girlfriend. It is a restaurant that we had previously been to and loved the atmosphere and vibe of, whilst also finding the service and decor absolutely beautiful. It feels authentic, but also quite glamorous, and balances both of these aesthetics very well. Upon entering, you are greeted by the service staff and, on occasion, the owner. This is, always, an absolute highlight. The service staff are first in class, and make the experience at Moltobuono so enjoyable. Always with a smile on their face, but also with good conversation and greeting to make sure that their customers feel welcome from the off. This was the case both times I dined here. On the first occasion, there was no need to book, and we could get a table on walk-in. This was during peak hours and so availability is often not an issue, though I do imagine it is not always the case that there are tables free, so do book in advance for special occasions to make sure of availability! Most recently, the restaurant was absolutely full, and this made for a fantastic atmosphere of plenty of happy couples and tables of families enjoying the food. Despite the business, this didn’t stop their service team from keeping everyone well served. We were seated upstairs under a beautiful lighting arrangement where a traditional rustic feel was mixed with a clean and very well kept nature. After recently travelling through Italy, it was nice to revisit the culture and food. I do feel somewhat able then, to know when Italian food is good quality. I ordered the Diavola, a staple in my time through Italy, whilst my girlfriend ordered the Cacio e Pepe. The Pizza was fantastic - cooked exactly as you would find a classic Neapolitan style Pizza in Italy, and the pasta was also wonderful (I helped finish, as always!). There can be little to complain about for a place like this. One slight mishap was we ordered some sides that were not immediately delivered - but this I believe was due to someone else being given direction to deliver the sides to the table, and then delivering them to the table next to us. Upon asking, this was quickly corrected. During such a busy service, such a small mistake is bound to happen, and that it was corrected is all that is necessary. To top it off, on leaving, our server gave me a rose which I was then able to give to my girlfriend. This kind of service is what sets Moltobuono apart from other restaurants in the area. It manages to mix an authentic feel with true class, yet feels approachable for many different types of people. The meal was not too expensive, costing around £50 for the both of us, but given the quality and the occasion this was more than reasonable. For any event, any time of year, any reason, I would recommend this restaurant. If you like Italian food, it is truly wonderful here. There is so much to like, and I cannot recommend the place enough. The prices are fair and for such good food in fact good value, the service is second to absolutely none, and the atmosphere is always a beneficiary of this. If you come to Bristol, come to Moltobuono!

Food was out of this world, I'm not someone who has ever said that before online. Really good fun service, had me speaking Italian "Badly" & great atmosphere. If ever I'm back in Bristol I will 100% be here for a meal.

Great atmosphere, cozy place, staff and owner are very playful. It's like being at home. They have a great selection of pizzas and Italian style dishes, deserts are delicate and mouthwatering. Ask for a negroni drink, you won't be disappointed!

The service hear is so friendly. The manager made a fuss over my pregnant wife and was genuinely a joy to talk to. Food wise - I had the best pasta dish I've ever had here. A perfectly cooked caceo e Pepe with fresh handmade pasta. Can't recommend this place enough

A lovely Italian cuisine experience. I had the burrata starter, a calzone main course, and a tiramisu for dessert, and it was all absolute perfection (although I may have overdone it with the back to back cheese dishes)

Just incredible each and every time! Food is astoundingly tasty and the service is personal and attentive. It’s a very busy restaurant as it’s so popular but it never feels chaotic. I hope and pray that one day they come out with a vegan tiramisu, which is sorely lacking in Bristol. I am a dairy eater but my partner is not, and I wish he was able to have a dessert as delicious as mine!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Been coming here for around five years. The owner, his family and his extended family (the staff who aren’t related to them) are just really wonderful people, but that’s not the reason I’d advise you to come here. The food is just absolutely cracking! It is real Italian greatness. As our kids have grown up and wanted to go there on their own, the owner and staff have shown such gracious kindness and generosity that its totally made their evenings. I’m not related or on commission - just gushing our experience. If you love high quality, but not fussy, Italian food I don’t think you’re going to get better in Bristol. They import their own chilli’s for goodness sake (and they’re amazing). Hospitality wise, our experience has not been better anywhere else.

We are Brazilian/Italian and this is the second time my family and I have come to Bristol and Moltobuono. If you are looking for an Italian restaurant that has the same level of well-made Italian cuisine, you should definitely visit this restaurant. The treatment is very attentive and friendly, as is typical of Italians. The food is very tasty and the atmosphere is pleasant and hospitable.

10th of January 2025, middle of winter, dark and -3 degrees, I was hesitant to walk outside, Friday evening we walk into the doors of Moltobuono! and I felt like I was transported to a small countryside town in Italy, with a family run restaurant, greeted with authentic “ciao bella’s” which instantly as a bald 29 year old picked up my spirits. Walked upstairs to what I would call a Italian version of mama Mia and the service of a michelin star restaurant we were greeted with the best gluten free pizza base and a large glass of wine that had the hips moving ready for a Friday night. If I was to describe the experience in one Italian saying it would be “riempimi la pancia, buonissimo.” I will be back.

Gorgeous authentic Italian spot in the centre of Bristol on Park street! The restaurant literally looks like a scene out of love actually and the food is amazing. We ordered both pizza and pasta and were so impressed!

Came here on a day out in Bristol on a recommendation from a local. Fantastic food and great service. If you’re after classic Italian food in a cosy atmosphere then this is a great spot. The cacio e pepe and pizzas were the highlight. The happy hour was an unexpected surprise and a lovely excuse for a few aperol spritz. Only criticism is that the toilets are a little outdated. Nevertheless would visit again.

Ah the best Italian food i’ve had in bristol. Its filling, its delicious, & so affordable! They have loads of vegetarian options which was honestly the highlight for us. Pizza had a soft crust but was not doughy. Pasta was el dente & with a magnificent parmesan and porcini mushroom sauce. Above all, the staff were incredibly friendly and polite. The place was busy so I would recommend booking in advance. We paid a total of 35£ for two mains.

Really easy to set up a booking and the staff are exceptionally kind and welcoming. The pizzas taste amazing and there is a lot of range in the menu. The restaurant itself is very cosy and makes for a great setting for lunch or dinner :)

Tonight was my second time coming here and it was just as special as the first. I would highly recommend it to everyone if you want an authentic experience - my mum is Italian and eating here feels like I am home. No joke, no flights needed!!!!! Simone is a great host along with all the rest of the staff being super friendly and accommodating, the food is delicious with many ingredients imported from Italy and the restaurant has the best atmosphere. Super recommended!! Wonderful place, family atmosphere... the food was better than many restaurants in Italy... the staff were very nice, and the boss, "Uncle Simo", an exquisite person who was worth the dinner alone. Only 5 stars because 50 cannot be given. Go there!

A unique place to feel at home. Between excellent food and a friendly environment. Excellent quality food carefully prepared. The pizza is certainly the best you can find in the whole area.

Moltobuono gets all the stars for the delicious food and fantastic atmosphere, even on a wet Monday night. Everything we ate was absolute delicious. The Italian gentlemen that own the place are very charming. Sadly the service is let down by some of the young women that work there, one was very curt. We were 13 minutes late because I’m not local to Bristol. We definitely booked for 19:30, the booking had been made through their telephone messaging service. I asked for some plates so we could share our starters, the plates never arrived. I’m looking forward to retuning and enjoying the full dining experience, next time I’m in Bristol.

Nice, but did not live up to expectations! The restaurant seating is crammed in with no more than a couple of inches between tables so do not expect intimacy here. Think more high volume, fast turn over service. The food, well this was the most disappointing. The flavours were great, however the pizza base was soggy. The Ragu that my partner ordered was also quite creamy, nothing like what you'd receive in Italy. The Tiramisu... Now this saved the night and was delicious, if you end up here, order the Tiramisu!

A wonderful, atmospheric experience. Book early. I got lucky as the staff squeezed me in at the bar. I watched as they turned away many would-be diners due to the high demand for a table. And having enjoyed 3 courses here, I can understand exactly why. If you are looking for a microcosm of Italy with an impressive range and depth of flavour, served with warmth and character, look no further than Moltobuono!

Food very tasty but just felt rushed, no time to just sit relax and chat with friends. Table of 6 and we were only given 1 hour 25 minutes and then asked to leave as soon as we had paid, it just felt like it's all about how many bums in seats you can get in one evening.

Amazing… feels like you are in Italy, service amazing, food so fresh and tastes amazing, the pasta is so fresh. They are so warm and welcoming. They get so busy so you just book in advance. 10/10 for me and I am a fuzzy eater!

Can't get enough of this one. It has become our fav spot to go for small celebrations. It's busy all the time so have to do proper reservation well before the date but it's worth the hassle. Authentic Italian taste and food quality. Lovely staff. One of few I tend to go back every now and then. Definitely recommend it.
