Over price no taste will not order again

Online reports were favourable, so we called in on the way back from Castleward on Sunday. Staff were excellent, customer service 1st class. The cod supper was delicious. Light batter on the fish and cooked to perfection . The chips were good too, nicely done. Unfortunately, we live an hour and a half away, but when we're up this way again, Molloys will get a visit for sure

The prices! I've choked on them since the last time we ate there a few days ago. We have eaten here before but not in about 9 months. I thought prices were ridiculous then but now they are eye watering. £4.40 for a SMALL CHIP. £5.50 for small chip with sauce. £13.60 for fish supper work no peas or tartare - those will cost your another £1.30 each and the tub of tartare is tiny! We got 2 mini fish suppers (and trust me it's mini) 1 peas and 2 tartare - £19.20. We ate here as we were on our back from Belfast and really hungry and they do gluten free. I doubt we'll eat there again. The prices just aren't justified

It's annoying when you order something but when it gets delivered it isn't what you ordered

Chips were amazing had the pepper ones could of been a bit warmer the bacon cheeseburge bacon wasn’t cooked properly the meat and cheese itself were nice staff was very busy and still able to have good customer service when taking my order and handing me my food

They treat people badly and they are all rude! I wish i can leave a review without even putting a star bc this place doesn’t deserve it! what do you mean my daughter? I don’t have a daughter not has anyone I know worked their before. I came in as a customer and the service was awful.

Large fish much the same as a medium fish. But tasty all the same.

Great spot for chips and their gluten free menu was really extensive. The gluten free batter was probably the best I've had. We'll definitely be back!

We arrived 20 mins before closing, great customer service friendly approach and welcome from the young girl, :) cooked from scratch so waited a little while bit worth it, very impressed and we will be back so thank you for your great customer service. Nomadic Globetrotters on YouTube.

Decent sized haddock and always delicious. Can be busy so order in advance!

Had beautiful fish & chips in Molloy's today would highly recommend there food.

Pricey for a fish n chip shop , no parking and delivery service is poor , should invest in some better I T, staff are nice who try hard despite the owner

Still very good :) A review after our second visit six months later and I have to report that the dish and chips were as good as I expected. You can phone or order online and pay by card now Gluten free fish and chips all week. No contest probably the best fish and chips all round. There is a car park close by where you can wait while they cook your order freshly. The tartar sauce is home made and very very tasty.

Love the cod bites, and for someone who doesn't like fish this is a big thing, they're called cod bites but they're as big as gougons, just love the food here

Probably the best run chip shop I've ever visited, was really busy and they way the get the food out like nothing I've ever seen before.. the food was beautiful also

Really good fast food. Fish and chips were very nice. Thought the cod portion was a tad small yet certainly adequate. Staff very friendly and efficient. I tried calling thirteen times in a row and didn’t get through. Decided to go in order and wait (20 minutes). Parking outside was difficult. I later discovered you can order online.

Driving through Downpatrick we disovered Molloys and decided to have some food. I had cod and chips, my wife ordered scampi and chips. It was raining outside so they let us eat them inside. The food was amazing and l would recommend them to anyone. The staff were very nice and most helpful.

Have been getting fish, chips and mushy peas for several weeks now and the food is always delicious especially the fish is always good. The problem with many fish and chip shops is I find it can be hit or miss one week the fish is good maybe the next week its mostly batter or smaller, however with Molloys the standards are alway great every week. Plus the place is so clean and staff are very plesent. Try it you won't be disappointed.

Really good food, not greasy, did need heated up when I got home but I was stuck in traffic so that was no fault of Molloys. They do a beautiful selection of gluten free food, fish, chips, onion rings, and scampi are just the few I remember. My favorite place to go to for a nice fish supper 😁

Normally very good but I feel £7.90 for a fish a chips is a bit expensive especially when the fish was as small as it was. If the fish was larger I wouldn't mind. Also it said add mushy peas for a £1 and I got charged £1.50.

£5.40 for chip and 2 sausages. Pricey ? 12 minute wait. CASH payment only, no cards accepted. For this price I expect it to be good. Chip portion was small (kids size) and sausages had a strange smell (like a cheap quality smell, NOT an 'off' smell). Chips took in too much oil (hot inside and cold surface), which was all I could taste (although oil was fresh).

We had outside catering done by molloys last night for my sons 21st food was outstanding everyone thoroughly enjoyed it...plenty to go around... brilliant value for money. Would highly recommend . Thank you so much.

Food not nice the new management off the golden chip in Downpatrick has all u need at half the price he's takes over in three days come try fish chip plus drink £5.00 and free pens r gravy omg it's nice all items on menu are now cheaper and half price better than McDonald's to save you money
