Excellent food yet again and hot. Delivery driver was so polite

no salt and vinegar on chips, although requested, small portion for the £10 medium mixed meat and chips, pretty average!!

I asked for a large bag of chips and got basically a cone of chips

The fish was way iver cooked,definitely not worth the £9.50 it cost

2nd time I've ordered the same meal. Not as good as 1st time. No salt and vinegar or hot chilli sauce and not much lamb kebab meat. Order was mixed kebab meat and chips, with hot chilli sauce and salt and vinegar. Shame as 1st time order was great.

Went there tonight and asked for mixed kebab metat told no tikka even though it was on the skewer. They bulk it up with chips about 4 pieces of kebab meat and a spoonful of chicken meat. Been going for decades but the new staff are awful.

Had to order meal twice as Just Eats didn't deliver at 1st attempt. The food is usually great but this time only okay. The fish was very oily and scrappy not like the fillets I've had before. Maybe it was just a busy Friday night but definitely not up to usual standards.

it was cold and believe the driver did another drop off before ours because his journey was not direct in fact he was on the Redditch road that’s also 2 miles away from the chip shop so I can understand why the food was very cold when he delivered it wasn’t be use this service again I expect hot food that should have took him 5/6 minutes to deliver

Used to love this place but we've just had the WORST food from them. The kebab meat and chips was swimming in grease and had been put at the top of the bag. The grease had dripped out of the single wrap of paper so everything underneath it was covered. The chips only had one wrap of paper on them so that was soaked with grease too. Ordered a can of coke and get home to find we've been given Pepsi max without being asked if we minded the substitution. I phoned them up to tell them how annoyed I was and there was no apology. They did offer to redo the order if we came back but we're all ill and don't live that close so that was no help whatsoever. It should have been done correctly in the first place.

Just got my delivery there was no grease proof paper between the chips and the normal paper so half the chips where not edible! The fish was so soggy it could of started swimming again 🤢

Not sure it was even cod! Yellow hard fish. Not fresh. Pies soggy. Won't return.

Food tonight was terrible. Nothing like it used to be. Sad to say won't be buying from there again.

Perfect food and service and delivery

First of all didn’t listen to what salad I wanted and just put what he thought I wanted on and also a couple hours later found out I had FOOD POISONING this place use to be everyone’s favourite around the area and it’s just gone terribly down hill

What's happend to this place. Used to be lovely food and lovely staff. This is certainly not the case anymore.

Disappointed with having to walk up my grove in the rain due to the driver being incompetentand not reading instructions properly which led to my food being cold when i recieved it

Used to love this place. Recently had roe and haddock from there. The roe was wafer thin. The chips tasted awful. A lot had a green hue in the light. To top it all off I had 7 hours in A&E due to food poisoning from the haddock. The pain was inexplicable. I honestly thought I was having a heart attack. No doubt it was their food. It was the only thing I had eaten that day after cereal for breakfast. Thankfully the doctors and nurses sorted me out. Needles to say; I'm never going back.

WARNING!!! do NOT eat from this place. disgusting behaviour from disgusting people who run a disgusting shop serving disgusting food!!!!!

I would like someone to get in contact with me as my delivery driver was rudely spoken to by my neighbour upstairs who I have an Asb order on. I need his name and number as I have an investigation going on council Team as a witness to state that this is the case as I have him on footage and have sent it to Police and Council.

chips were soft and soggy, and they need to learn how to make a wrap, wasn't even wrapped. disappointed for how expensive it is.

Ordered on just eat did not complete the order told me to take it up with just it when we are all here waiting on it at 9 o'clock at night not cancelled the order or anything just took the money and told us to deal with it

Ordered from here for delivery so wasn’t expecting the food to be hot but was prepared. The food came piping hot and was absolutely delicious. Best fish and chips I have had in ages. The batter on the fish was crispy and fresh, the cod gorgeous. The chips were hot fluffy and perfect. Will definitely order again

Beautiful food, i had Haddock and it was perfect, batter golden and crispy not greasy. Chips best i had in a while, cooked properly, none of those blonde undercooked chips oh no! A++ Will use again thanks Pete

God knows what as happened to this place .....was always a regular but no more.....spent alot of money on a order yesterday ....and was shocking why do you offer Large fish ? When it's smaller than a mini fish obviously ripping off loyal customers 😔

Had food poisoning twice here 1 time the whole family (4 of us), then just me and the mrs. Also a friend had it the same day as us. 1 of the times it was definitely the burger. Dont go here anymore. can't risk it

Portions were on the smaller side chips were bland and the donner meat had gristle in. Salad was fresh. Lady serving on 30/12/23 was rude had an attitude and no manners. Prices were reasonable.

After last nights chinese mess it was great to have some tasty, hot well packaged food.

Extremely rude people running this shop. Asked a simple question about the food and got shouted at and sworn at. Would never recommend. Disgraceful.
