Fantastic service, love the food every time. My local is Ipswich,but also handy to call in on the way home for bluewater. Highly recommend a stop.

Had an amazing dinner here when visiting a friend in Brentford who recommended we go slightly out of town to his favourite spot. It's slightly hidden away but well worth going to. We tucked into a fair few dishes, so I'll try and remember them. I had Chilli Ramen which was 10/10. Good level of spice and really tasty broth. My wife had a Katsu Curry which I stole a few mouthfuls and the sauce was so much nicer and fresher than that generic offering you get from Waggamama! I'm not sure what curry my friend's wife had, perhaps a Laksa - but it looked good. The other dish we tried was the Noodle Combo which had chicken, duck and pork. We all agreed we should have ordered that as a sharer whilst we all had our own meal as my mate had his meal attacked from all angles! We were also pleasantly surprised to see there was a kids' menu for the little people. Most Cantonese restaurants I’ve been to often forget about the little ones! Lots of choice for them also. Next time I visit my friend or pop to Lakeside/Bluewater - 100% popping in for a meal.

Great venue for excellent food and a varied menu. Service continues to be first class and the family love coming back for their favourites.

First time there and we had kids under 5s and was part of a large group, we took up almost 3 tables as a big group. It was busy but not packed out despite our large party. Service was good and they were happy to separate the bill per family from the start. We said no spice for the kids and they openly suggested to replace the spice marinated sauce with just soya sauce instead. Happy with that. It wasn’t a long wait for food and it’s tasty. The portions are large so kids can share. They have their own car park and place is lovely and clean. We will visit again.

Arrived at the restaurant 9:20 and was told they couldn’t provide food as it was closing at 10pm. It clearly stated on the door that it was 10:30 close. They were not prepared to even do us a quick main in a takeaway container and would leave when they closed, but clearly didn’t want us there even though they had people in.

Terrible excuse for Chinese food very poor very overpriced dirty outside not authentic waited an hour and a half and poor customer service avoid this!!

First visit and I will definitely visit again. The food was actually really good, not great, but very good, and good value for money too! The service was fast and friendly, and the venue was busy. This is a noodle bar, and has a typical noodle bar layout, which is reflected in the price of the food, so please don’t expect anything fancy! To be honest, i really enjoyed the food and atmosphere here, and i was somewhat impressed by how unpretentious this restaurant is! Will be back soon! 😀

Gotta say the food was very average, had Singapore Vermicelli and PakChoi the former was swimming in either grease or oil and I'm not sure what they soak the pak Choi in some kind of liquid , the whole thing was very poor , staff as attentive as they always are.

Been coming here for years and always been good, but yesterday evening ( 26th July 2023 ) when I ordered a beer was told no longer do draft Peroni so ordered 2 bottles 1 for each of us, when we got the bill could not believe they are charging £4.60 for a small bottle, questioned this thinking it was an error, but was told that is correct price, you can buy these in any outlet for maximum £1.50 so these people buy for less than that at C &C so are making over 300% mark up, if they think this is how you treat customers good for them, but I for one will not be returning , so that is 2 regular customers they have lost because of their greed

Been coming here for a few years, I think the old chef has left as not the new one is not as good , not as fresh as before and not very tasty. Not really worth the journey for us any more. Is gone from a 9/10 to a 5/10

We always stop off at this Mizu when going south and have enjoyed the food. On this occasion not the case, I had the combo meal with rice and the meat was so tough and dry like it had been recooked it was just awful the green veg was very soggy. I politely told the lady waitress that the meat was dry and overcooked and she said well this is a new dish and walked off. I have had this dish before and it was never like this. The lady came over to take our payment for our meal and did not even apologize or offer our coffee and coke on the house, I didn't want to kick up a fuss but when a customer complains about the sub standard meal it should be addressed, so Mizu failed in customer service and in this case we will not be going back, mistakes with food happen but not bad customer service.

Been using this restaurant since it opened,purchased 3 meals on Saturday to takeaway.two of them where rock solid when I arrived home and completely congealed.had to throw them away.The food was discussing and when I called to complain they said the manager would call me back.hours later I got a call and was told to return the food which was in the bin by this time.no apology despite recognising I was along term customer.Will never use this place again and would advise anyone else to not waist good money on such poor quality food and terrible service.

Where do I start? Don’t try and fool us with a bowl of supermarket lollo rossa dressed in some low rent Thai dressing Then, cook your agedashi tofu for a few less minutes, and choose a less caustic sauce for the Chinese greens please. Even your edamame were over cooked. Kare lomein fairly good but mostly pedestrian, and crispy noodle dish certainly nothing to write home about. I feel sorry for the people of Brentwood if they think this is tasty asian fusion food!! Do your region better justice please🥳

I came here with my two Adult daughters and 4 year old grandson. We have been here a few times but omg what a shambles. We arrived at 6:50pm and desperate for the toilet - well especially with today’s pandemic situation there was just one female toilet which was completely soiled so Then my grandson and I went To wash our hands the edge of the sink was flooded which made my grandsons top Soaked. Then to Top it all no hand dryer working. We sat down just before 7pm we’re given 1 bowl of crackers then took 20 mins to order a drink we asked For Diet Coke but were made to accept Coke Zero as led believe Diet Coke sold out-but no after getting Coke Zero people next to us had Diet Coke! We Had now been sitting for 45 mins and still not ordered eventually after asking 5 times our order Was taken. By then my grandson was getting hungry and tired. I asked why we were waiting they said just 5 mins. I then said after 10 I want to pay for our drinks and Leave so We paid. I then went to a guy who they said was manager he said please wait 5 more and food will be out so we then waited another 10 my daughters then got up to take my grandson out as he was getting distressed. I said to the the guy the least you can do is refund me the £11 I had just paid for the 3 CANS of Coke Zero his actual words to me were “shut up and go away I am trying to serve people’ to which I replied You should of been serving us. I then left very upset. I feel so annoyed that I want to shout to the world ‘ do not use this restaurant’ . After 1 hr 45 mins we left having eaten nothing not even a second d bowl of rotten crackers! I wish there was some way of some compensation. As we left the table behind us with 2 children also Walked away without eating they weren’t as silly as me they didn’t pay for their drinks which I should Of done.

We was a regular customers (before the pandemic) we don’t live close by, we have to travel over half hour. We rated this restaurant of the best oriental food around. But unfortunately today we had a sad surprise….. On Wednesday evening, the restaurant was half empty, I been waiting over 5 mins before the waitress realised I was on front of the door. We order the food and the drink, (took 20 mins before we had our drink and around 50mins to receive 3 bowl of ramen ) The take away and deliveroo was served before us The food was absolutely terrible, no taste no flavours, just a bowl with hot water and some frozen and tasteless ingredients. What a shame! It was soo good.. How became one of the best restaurant to the worse ever restaurant (oriental) I ever been I will never step anymore in this place.

Absolutely poor, food was tasteless and bland. And to top it off, they charge a higher price than what is advertised on the menu. Won’t return and definitely won’t recommend on the food alone!

Given the standard of food and service I have just received, I felt compelled to write this review and try and save someone in the future making the same mistake I did. I stopped at Mizu tonight driving passed Brentwood. The food was terrible, we ordered starters and mains. The Thai Salad, was a basic supermarket salad with a sweet sauce and looked like it hand been hanging around for a couple of days, the satay chicken was little better, it was tough, chewy and pretty tasteless. When I queried the salad being served...the waiters reply was "I don't know thai!" The mains were no better. The whole meal for two was a complete waste of money and utterly disappointing. The waiter who served us, was overtly rude throughout. I can only urge anyone considering visiting, to do so with caution. I would not recommend the place and trying to forget the money we wasted.

Being located where it is , not hard to miss. Parking can be a bit tight if there's lots of Vans off the M25 all playing on their mobiles. But beyond that the food and service are both excellent it is hard to say that there's much better of the same variety in the area.

My wife and I have been going to Mizu Brentwood virtually once a week ever since it opened. The food is fantastic, at a reasonable price (considering the size of the portion) and have always had superb service. We might be “classed as regulars nowadays” but can not fault anything about the place at all!! Thank you Mizu Brentwood

We stopped off after the Maylands Fireworks display with our friends and daughter, we didn’t wait long for a table which was great, I asked for a high chair which was forgotten about so my friend went to ask... she was told “they are on the floor over there” quite bluntly.

It was just down the road from where we were staying, so an easy choice. Parking is easy and plenty of space. When we came in, we were pleasantly surprised, light an airy. The staff were very helpful and willing to help with choice of meal. The food was very good and had a wide choice. We will go again in the future.

Another excellent meal had here en route to London via the A12. It’s location makes it all the more appealing by being able to literally pull off before hitting the dreaded M25, grabbed some quick and delicious food and set off again. You can’t beat a mizu combo rice! Great food, great location.

Eat here and pick up takeaways quite regularly. You never have to book and takeaways are always ready within 10-20mins. Food is always consistently good, menu has a lot of choice! And the portions are really great sizes.

Wrong order given upon takeaway and when I called them to let tg know they couldn’t be more unhelpful they got it wrong but expected me to drive back there from Ingatestone to swop the dishes over absolutely ridiculous I explained how far away we were and that this was not possible and asked them to resolve next time we ordered from them their reply was they can’t do that and unless I brought it back now they wouldn’t be able to do anything about it I said I will not be using them again they were not concerned at all absolutely no concern for customer service will never use again

Been here a few times over the years and the food is always good. It good to see a restaurant last the test of time. It’s in a great spot on the A12/M25 roundabout handy for the traveller to break up a journey. The menu is a mix of Asian staples, soups , noodle and rice combos with familiar menu items. Bench style layout and quick efficient service. We were hungry on our way back and I ordered the Kuay Teow noodles and my son the chicken Ramen. Large portions, cooked fresh and authentic. A good experience, large selection of side dishes if you have the room plus asian beers plus the usual drink selections.

Visited restaurant at 9.30 didn’t make it it 5 steps inside before told ‘we close at 10’ if you want food you need to order now??? Haven’t even made it to a table or seen a menu, WTF RUDE AND CLEARLY DIDN’T WANT MORE CUSTOM.. won’t be bothering to stop there again. @Wing Cheung family you should be ashamed at the staff there.

First time I have dined here and was very pleasantly surprised. I've driven past loads of times and never liked the look of it (formerly a Burger King many years ago). I visited with my family and everything we had went down very well. No complaints about the food whatsoever. Service was prompt and very good. The restaurant is clean and very pleasant. I like the atmosphere in the restaurant and it is obviously popular from the number of people eating on a Monday night. My only gripe is that the menus should be replaced - they feel well past their sell by date.

We regularly dine in mizu with our 4 yr old and 2 yr old and have been for the last 5-6 + years. Great laid back atmosphere especially if you fancy a casual dinner out without having to get too dressed up. Food is amazing and lots of dishes to choose from. We don’t tend to book and can visit impromptu which is good for busy family lives. Staff are very friendly, we couldn’t recommend it enough :-)

This was my first time of visiting this restaurant,my friend raves about this place so we decided to go after work,I was not disappointed.The menu was quite extensive and you could also see the food being prepared too, the food was very tasty and very filling,the portions were also very generous too unlike other restaurants like Wagamama which serve very small portions of food.I can’t wait to go back and would definitely recommend you pay a visit to this place.

Always reliable and consistent here when ever we go. Large portions of hot tasty food. We have Benn through the whole menu but I am sure we will as we enjoy eating here. Parking free or the 498 cus stops just up the road.

Been coming here for many years now and always left contented. But visited Friday the 12th May I asked where the Manager was as I had not seen him for a while, and was given the news that he had passed away, My wife and I were totally shocked and very sad as he always had time to speak with us , our condolences go to his wife and children and all of his family & friends.

I ordered to pick up. The food was ready in 15 mins and stayed hot until we bought it home. The food tasted amazing and every item we got did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend going here.

It's a bit different here -- you eat on long trestle tables and you might be next to someone else if it's busy. Atmosphere is friendly, staff attentive and food all freshly cooked. The soups are amazing and a meal in themselves. Give it a try !

I'm a regular at the Ipswich restaurant and we decided to stop here purely for it's conveinience to the A12 whilst en route to London. Quite a different vibe to the Ipswich venue but regardless excellent food and service and no complaints. Always a speedy service and great value for money. Excellent location for a drop in dinner.

I've been here a couple of times and have always walked out very happy with everything. Having only very recently discovering I need to have a gluten free diet I was a little apprehensive when invited to eat here again; not because I doubted MIZU but because having tried to find gluten free options in a different restaurant earlier in the week left me feeling like a leper. I needn't have worried though. A little online research found a decent gluten free menu on their website and I was able to order discretely, without fuss. The waiter was knowledgeable about other foods and the whole experience made for a relaxing meal. And as an added bonus it's all priced so reasonably.

Whilst the food was excellent, this restaurant should try to understand the needs of its customers more. When we entered the restaurant, I requested a table in the corner near the window. This is because I have anxiety and can sometimes feel incredibly uncomfortable when placed in the middle of a busy or noisy room. We were told that we couldn't choose where to sit and were shown to a table right in the middle of the restaurant. Although I didn't explain the reason for my request (partly also because of my anxiety), the server didn't take any time to try to understand, or to accommodate us, and I therefore did not feel in any way valued as a customer. As I said however, the food was lush.

I have been coming to Mizu for a number of years and the food is consistently good. Cooked fresh within sight of diners the food is always fresh and tasty. What I enjoy most is the fact that you are never kept waiting long. The staff are attentive and helpful. Plenty of parking and free WiFi. Reasonably priced.

Arrived just as they were opening for the evening with 2 hungry grandchildren after a busy M25 and before we hit the A12 for home. Children menu is a bit limited but they like noodles and they were given colouring pencils and sheets. The 3 year old had a huge pile of chicken and sweetcorn noodles on a small plate . A bigger plate would help the child manage the food better . The 6 year old had another large portion of sweet and sour chicken . I think he liked the thought of it better that the actual. He shared his Granddad's Duck pancakes and we tried the sweet and sour which was very good . Both children loved the idea of making their own pancakes . The chicken noodles were a bit boring but she ate quite a lot. Great selection of drinks brought over quickly and food was prompt as the chefs were not messing about. The only slight disappointment was my choice of the chicken Katsu. The curry sauce with it was very thick and not lending anything to the dish but to be fair the menu did say the sauce was a thick one. Perfectly well cooked just not one I would choose again here . On our way quickly after toilet stop , very smart loo's . Useful for quick pitstop on the way home when you are trying to avoid the normal bland places and a lot of other people seemed to agree as it was filling up as we left.

First Class food - freshly prepared and swiftly served. Always a good standard for a swift lunch but I haven't visited in the evening. Hard refectory bench seating and long tables not acceptable to the lady wife ! Too far away for take-away or delivery.

Popped in the other lunchtime with my wife when passing through Brentwood. As we walked in we were told Mizu was closing at 2:30 so we knew we were on a limited time span. No problem however, service, extremely good and quick. We both had a main and a side (Portions were that pleasing that we ended up having to box some of the sides). Quality matched quantity....and price was decent. All round a really pleasing experience, gives us another dining option in the area.....well done and keep it up.

First visit to this restaurant and will not be my last.Did not know what to expect .Went with my daughter who had been before and suggested we should go.On entering, the restaurant was nearly full and at first seemed a bit noisy. The lay out of the tables is a bit unusual with long tables and benches. The menu is vast and the prices seemed very reasonable, with a big variety of Asian dishes. The staff are very friendly and we were not kept too long before our order was taken. I went for Mizu Crispy Noodles which consisted of chicken ,roast pork and prawns , vegetables ,Oyster sauce on a bed of crispy noodles.The food was delicious .The staff work very hard and there must of been at least 6 staff in the kitchen.The restaurant seems to provide a very busy take away service and there were constantly customers coming in and out.

Recently moved to the area and found this restaurant. Whenever we have been here the food andnservice has been excellent. The price is very resonable aswell. A must try.

I was looking forward to eating here after reading lots of positive reviews but I was severely disappointed with the food. As others have said the service is excellent but the food and the sticky menus let the place down. The food comes out very quick which makes me somewhat doubt it’s freshness. The Chicken in the katsu curry had been over cooked and not served with a lot of sauce. The chicken satay as others have said is rubbery and the sauce not that great.

The service is very good, food comes out fast and hot. The prawn crackers are authentic. The portions are very generous too. The place is let down by the sticky feeling menus and the cheap floppy textured cheapo satay ( more like cheap curry sauce) sauce!

We went to Mizu with my boyfriend before the movies...it’s an ok place to have good food fast. Not for special occasions but good value for quality!

As we were in the area and it was my daughters birthday we decided spur of the moment to drop in. We had Wags last night so kept the theme going for today! This was better by far. The food came up piping hot, it was extremely delicious and satisfying. Having two vegans in the party was not a problem there are dishes available on the menu.

Well ran and popular restaurant with efficient staff. Incredible range on the menu and food tasty and reasonably priced. Not a great lover of the communal / long tables when busy ( as you sit close to other diners). Food appears very fresh and cooked well.
