Misso Lounge in Lancaster

I absolutely love Misso Lounge. I didn’t realise how beautiful it is inside until I went in. The staff are amazing; so warm and welcoming and they talked us through the different food options. We had a surprise small plate menu of Arabian food which was just delicious, and we had Arabic tea and virgin mojitos and it was all just amazing. I really can’t wait to go back!

Excellent ! The food was delicious, and the staff were so attentive- it felt so welcoming! Also, it was very affordable! Great all round! We will definitely be back!

So if you are stuck for something to eat in Lancaster I would highly recommend misso lounge for a food and chill. From the homemade Victorian lemonade to the gyros all excellent and the service was fantastic. I suggest you make the time to come here.

Misso Lounge is the place to go for any occasion. The food is stunningly tantalizingly delicious and demands that you eat slowly to savour each bite. The staff are welcoming, gracious and generous with their time in explaining the food and answering questions. Walking in, we were met with cherry trees in blossom and a cheerful staff member who took us to a wooden table surrounded by sink in comfortable cushioned seats. Instantly we were transported away to an unexpected warm holiday location out of cloudy grey Lancaster, U.K. We enjoyed the Mystery Tapas for four: oodles of vegan dishes, specially chosen for us. There's a variety of options and combinations available: meze, tapas, grilled, gourmet street food, shared platters ... Our celebratory meal finished with a surprise firework candle on an unexpected dessert platter, music and cheerful staff clapping. We felt like guests welcomed into the home of an attentive neighbour and couldn't have had a better celebratory evening out. Book ahead! This place is busy and rightly so!

Fantastic ambience, surprisingly private and quiet considering the location! The lady at the tills (wish I'd taken her name!) - a slender blonde with a high pony tail was so lovely- she got a surprise birthday song and treat for us at the end of our meal! The waiter gentleman was also very polite and came over several times to check everything was ok with our food and drinks. Really enjoyed my first experience here at Misso and will definitely be coming back... I know you made my friends birthday special- thank you!

Myself and my husband absolutely loved everything about Misso Lounge- all of the staff were so friendly and attentive, the food was absolutely amazing and you definitely couldn’t fault the portion sizes! I have 2 allergies which were also taken into consideration too. We had mixed tapas for 2 which was £25pp - we were served 3 different types of flatbread and 2 dips as a starter, then 6 different dishes for main (both meaty and veggie options) followed by Arabian tea to finish. I am so shocked to read 1 star reviews for this place. Please give it a go if you’re in 2 minds whether to try. Quality food with friendly staff and lovely atmosphere too. Definitely worth many more repeat visits from us!

Possible one of the best food experiences I've ever had. And experience is the important word here. Really something special. Couldn't recommend enough. My wife had a few things going on for her 40th but on her actual day we thought we'd just go out for a nice lunch and booked in for the afternoon tea at Misso Lounge. Just have a nice coffee and a good lunch. What we got was an absolute experience! They look after you, ask you about what you want, make recommendations, tailor the dishes, bring Turkish coffee and aromatic teas out and really look after you. The food was stunning and full of flavour. The best humous I've ever had. Be warned that it isn't an Afternoon Tea, it is more akin to Arabian tapas. You have to be a bit adventurous for this one but the reward is some of the best food I've ever had. Also make sure you try the virgin mojitos, especially the fig and berries option. Also not too expensive, £65 and that was for the full food, puddings, a Turkish coffee, 2 teas and 3 Mojitos between the two of us. Just wanted to put this out there as I really feel the chefs and staff at Misso Lounge deserve all the recommendations.
