Had a delicious lunch here with 3 friends. The dumplings were phenomenal, egg and tomato soup was delicious and the pork noodles were fantastic. Great oolong tea too! Would highly recommend Min’s if you fancy tasty traditional Chinese food - definitely a refreshing break from the usual Stafford restaurants!

It is unusual to find a Chinese cafe style establishment, but we followed the yellow 'Min's Kitchen' signs that are dotted around Stafford town centre and found ourselves in a modest cafe in Martin Street. The menu is not extensive, but there is more than enough choice for lunchtime or an early evening meal (Min's is open Tues - Sat until 8pm). The big treat is that they make their own noodles - this is a rarity for any Chinese restaurant in these parts. We ordered veg spring rolls and two portions of vegetable noodles. The spring rolls were crisp and nice enough - but the noodles were delicious and certainly some of the best I have ever had. Flat noodles were served - similar to tagliatelle, but the more normal sized noodles are available. Portions were not massive, but enough. A plate of 10 mini spring rolls, two vegetable noodles and two drinks came to £15 - so who's complaining? The staff were friendly and chatty without being obtrusive. We will definitely be going again!

Had the beef dumplings which were recommended and extremely good. Ordered 2 chicken with rice dishes and 2 chicken noodle dished, both were very tasty but lacking in portion size and chicken content. Rice dish was a good size for a child or snack. I wouldn't be shocked if there was one chicken breast between the 4 dishes. Would return if they lowered the prices to reflect lunch time or upped the portions.

Have passed MK many times and this was the first time I’ve visited. Welcoming staff and a decent menu for a lunch that offers homemade noodles and dumplings cooked as you order. The Dumplings were very good.I would say however, that the price is a tad steep £4.50 for a small bowl (chicken fried rice and chicken noodles) whereas the size is IMO just right for a lunch meal.I will be back again although I’ll be more consciously the prices.

This is a small family run restaurant which would have a line round the block if it was in San Francisco. Menu changes daily. All freshly prepared including homemade noodles. Recommend seafood dumplings, beef noodles and ask for the special soy sauce for dipping. Frankly, I’d go with anything that’s on the menu. We started with a couple of dishes and just kept ordering - 6 dishes between 3 (including a drink) £33. Bargain. We had a lovely time and will be back.

Fresh food that changes daily, I’ve been here for a quick lunch or spent longer with friends and family- it’s always good. The family who run it are friendly, if you are intimidated by it not being your standard Cantonese take-away food they will talk you through the options and help you decide. The noodles and dumplings are always homemade, everything is so fresh and tasty. Really hope this place is successful and sticks around because Stafford needs some diversity in its food options!

The ambiance and decor of your restaurant were exceptional, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. The quality of the food was excellent, and the flavors were well-balanced. We did note a few minor discrepancies between the menu descriptions and the dishes served. For example, the chocolate fondant was accompanied by honeycomb ice cream rather than the advertised vanilla, and the steak included an iceberg wedge salad which was not listed on the menu. While these were small inconsistencies, they could be easily addressed to ensure that guests have a more accurate expectation of their meal. The soup of the day was particularly noteworthy and was enjoyed by all at our table. The staff were friendly and attentive, although there were occasional delays in service, such as with drink orders and clearing plates. These delays, while not significant, could be improved to enhance the overall dining experience. Overall, we had a positive dining experience at Lunar and would be happy to return in the future. We believe that addressing the minor inconsistencies between the menu and the served dishes, as well as improving the efficiency of service, would further enhance our experience and make Lunar an even more enjoyable destination for diners.

Lovely attentive staff and friendly service. Our waiter had been a mountain tour guide. We could have talked to him for ages. In relation to the food, the spices come direct from Nepal.

Terrible food! I've never had crispy shredded chicken the size and thickness of a sausage and was soggy and tough, very little sauce and what there was , it was tasteless even though it was ordered in a spicy sauce! The ribs had a very strange texture and yet again tasteless! The rice was greasy and hard! Won't be using again, I'll be travelling to Stafford or Eccleshall for a Chinese as nowhere in Stone offers edible Chinese food!! This not a malicious rival post, I ordered online so a reference number can be given for authenticity of my review !
