Should be ashamed of themselves, full of illegal immigrants. Absolute scumbags. Was a nice hotel too.

Had a function at the watermill for my fathers funeral and acomodation rented which was great even for family from paisley.would recomend for anyone who wants a clean tydy high standerded function suit x hotel with history in a hurry to seems to suit all needs in my opinion

Fantastic full scotish breakfast.

Only use this hotel as a last resort. Ancient furniture in room, windows rotten, pork steak we were served couldn't be eaten, cooked breakfast all dried up. Oh, and unless you're early you have to pay for parking (Hotel has 12 free places, otherwise it's pay and display, per hour rate)

Perfectly adequate for a nights sleep. Good location

We booked the most basic room just a day beforehand. We arrived 2 hrs before check-in and the reception lady was kind enough to arrange a room as early as possible. There is a big waterfall next to the hotel. The hotel doesn't arrange taxis but you can call them up to ask for a taxi company's number if needed. Overall nice hotel.

I stayed here with my cousins and it was terrible. my cousin has her wedding for 2 o’clock and they told us to get out of the room for one. They knew we would be staying there for 2 or 3. We got moved rooms 3-4 times. One on the third floor then moved next to the other room. Another on the first floor and then got told to get out for 2 o’clock, we ended up staying in the honeymoon suite. The front desk woman was very un professional. The beds we’re falling apart, There was blood on the sheets, a dead spider and a big spider web covered in flies at the top of the roof. I do not recommend going here.

The hotel staff seem friendly and welcoming,Simple check-in.The room was ok,clean and tidy,a bit dated and could probably do with an upgrade.The bathroom was ok too,shower I had was a bit low and old,There was a loud noise when turning the water on,old piping I guess It's situated close to the centre of town,train stations,shops,bars and restaurants etc.

Walls so thin you hear everything, didn't sleep well for the neighbours watching telly til the wee hours, the welcome was great even let us check in early as for location the hotel was greatly situated

We stayed at the Watermill Hotel after unfortunate events, but we are so glad that we did. The hotel itself has a lively charm to it, the location was perfect (a few minutes by foot from the city centre and close by the airport by car) and the people there were so compassionate. It was a really personal experience, thank you for everything! Can definitely recommend!

Very old hotel, with great character, beds are old but comfortable lovely view of a small waterfall, tea/coffee/iron/ironing board available..Will definitely use again

Booked a night here, had to change date because of Covid. Was told just to call anytime to rebook. When I called, was told that as it was over 3 months before, I couldn’t. I asked to contact a manager to appeal. Was given email details. Emailed, no response. I emailed asking how to complain, no response. Have stayed here dozens of times over the past 30 years. Never again.

The staff is very welcoming, polite and very kind. Perfect breakfast that’s included in the price and chef remembered my order from day 1 😁👌🏽 Some bathroom interior could be refreshed as the building is quite old but I’m not too fussy and that didn’t bother me. I booked this hotel as it was close to where I wanted to be and the reviews seemed ok I had a room on the third floor overlooking the waterfall. Room was cosy quiet and comfortable not big but ok. The shower ceiling was a bit low for a tall person. A few cracks in porcelain in the bathroom. You could argue that the decor was tired but overall I liked it and would go back. Has character. Staff were nice and friendly and good breakfast.

Dated furniture and decor, by has everything you want at a reasonable price. Good location and friendly helpful staff.

The only thing on the up here is the staff, and the breakfast was ok, but this place needs a serious overhall, right down to the toasters, it has seen better days and need more than just a lick of paint, window frams in our room were not far off of falling apart, and could only just see through the glass due to dirt, but if honest, you get what you pay for, if you only need a bed to put your head down on, this will do

Lovely view over the mill. Chef got us in for breakfast even though we had missed the time. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms are basic but tidy. Reception staff friendly, excellent value

We did not stay here. We booked and then covid happened, and we still have not been able to travel. We were spending 6 weeks in 3 countries and all of our hotels (even though we had all non refundable rooms) gave us our money back. But not here. We are still unable to get there due to the pandemic and this hotel is still not willing to give us our money back nor are they willing to extend the credit that they gave us. We will stay at any other hotel when we do go because their customer service is lacking which makes me wonder about their overall service. Sadly disappointed with the customer good will!

Awful hotel noisy all night, window was jammed bloody freezing, fire slamming screaming twice on separately days second time at 6.25am due to poor chefing skills, some staff were nice some were miserable as sin. Hotel needs a serious modernisation, doors slamming all night long, yes it's cheap the price does reflect the hotel conditions and decor. Will never stay again my whole family agree it was rubbish. Its a shame it used to be so much better, needs massive investment to bring it up to at least a Premier Inn or similar basic accommodation.

Value for money, room was comfortable and warm, good bar and restaurant, excellent location.

Very bad sleep due to a noisy neighbour and a noise that sounded like a lift going all hight. Hotel in need if modernisation although the food was good.

The view from my room 109 was stunning you good see the see the waterfall literally on top of you, awesome. The rooms do need updating, but for price of the rooms you can't fall off, staff were lovely, very welcoming, I would come back in I was ever in Paisley again.

Great building but inside is very tired. There were cobwebs on the inside of windows in dining room, in bed room the carpet had rips, the floor boards feel as if they are broken, cleaning of vent in bathroom requires to be undertaken, toilet paper is cheap single ply, attitude of staff left lot to be desired especially at breakfast. The continental breakfast consisted of couple croissants, cereal, cheap bread for toast and couple of yogurts. Four toasters all plugged into coiled up Extension cable (Health & safety). Price was reasonable with extras for breakfast. With some tlc this beautiful place could be very up market and stunning.

Rooms are fairly basic but comfortable. Has a very relaxed atmosphere. Food in the bar is excellent. Breakfast is buffet style and has a good choice. Ideal spot for the West Coast without being in the hustle of Glasgow. Great for couples.

I went for a wedding, which the full day was fantastic. Food great. The humourous celebrate was great. My only fault was the wedding speaker's should have had a microphone. Nobody at the back could hear the speeches.

Very comfortable bed. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent cleaning service. We stayed here for a week and our room was perfectly adequate and good value. The bedding and towels are very clean and good quality. The shower room was nice and clean. We had a room with a view of the weir and the sound of the water was minimally invasive and quite soothing. The hot water was not working initially but was sorted straight after reporting the problem. There was good regard to covid restrictions during our stay. The hotel is very convenient for stations, buses and the town centre. Also has good connections to major roads. The only slight drawbacks are the very limited number of car park spaces (although there are additional spaces in a paid car park, right in front of the hotel car park - not operating whilst we were there due to road works), the very small lift and the smoking area right by the main front door. There is a dining room which looked very nice and a public bar, neither of which we used. I would certainly I would stay again.

Plus side excellent staff, breakfast very good Minus side room decor tired (but clean) shower presure non existent.

Out dated room had large black stain smelled fusty ,looking forward to sitting in beer garden in this glorious weather and it was appalling no beer garden its so rundown and neglected won't bee back, only good thing was the breakfast

Disgusting management, booked with booking.com only to find they sold the room to somebody else then accused us of lying and that we haven't booked here even though we had proof. asked for management and the old Scottish women lost her temper! Refused refund but luckily booking.com refunded and said they will be reviewing my concerns about the hotel! do yourself a favour and book elsewhere. Place looked and smelled like something out of a horror film inside! AVOID

Nice hotel good location but I don't know why they didn't do breakfast has the restriction have now been eased and restaurants can serve food indoors with out alcohol.

I love the Watermill and have returned many times. Incredibly comfy rooms and the free WiFi is amazingly fast. Hoping to return soon!

Great location for exploring Paisley. Lovely view if you get a room overlooking the River Cart. Beds a little on the firm side & water pressure a little poor in the shower. Rooms are clean & comfortable. Staff friendly & helpful. Nice bar area with plenty seating. This is our second stay & we will be back 👍

It is old but quaint and comfortable. Food very good. Ann was very accommodating in booking me in at short notice and John also nice and friendly.

Good friendly hotel in great location

Stayed here as a overnight on hogmanay, the hotel is very lovely the room is extremely large and well equipped, yes the rooms might look dated but the rooms feel welcoming, the downside is with the car park being council owned and pay and display, I would have expected free parking for hotel residents, we had a meal in the hotel which was well priced and extremely delicious, we sat within the bar for drinks that evening and night, it was quite due to most residents being out in the town centre but the bar tender JP was extremely welcoming, very professional and well mannered, breakfast was lovely with a lot of choice, will defienlty return for more stays at the hotel as its worth every penny!

No hot water apparently the taps and shower has to run for about 20 mins, couldn't regulate the heating as Switch was broken and window wouldn't lock and was noisy due to the wind..
