sorry but the food was average,it was lukewarm when served. although our waitress was very good and attentive.sorry we will not be back for food. the bar is good

Fantastic pub quiz on Thursday nights at 9!

The staff lovely and nice place BUT! Our mains were very salty also my steak had loads of garlic butter on it... no mention on menu and chips obviously cooked several times. We will come back for a drink but not food. We have eaten here before but never again. Sorry it was disappointing as it was my Birthday.

Good spot if you can find a seat! The quiet nights seem to be few and far between these days, and that can only be a good thing 😁 But yes, Smithwicks on tap suits me nicely.

Went to millies tonight for dinner and we got the steak deal. It was perfect 😍 The food was beautiful and the cocktails were equally as nice! Aisling served us and she was amazing in every way 🥰 Thank you very much!

Went in on the off chance to get lunch and wasn’t disappointed the food was gorgeous hot and very tasty, service staff was warm and friendly atmosphere was inviting clean and friendly. The price was reasonable for the quality of food which was good and not too long to wait. I think my only gripe was that as a vegetarian there was only one mains to choose, but what I got was delicious, pud was yummy too

This review has been a long time coming, I live in the area and on a rare occasion I call past for a pint. (Rare occasion because bad experience, i go else where regularly) Twice I have walked out because how long it takes to get served, on both occasions there has been 1 person in front. So ques have not been the issue. Its pathetic! The guy took a glass off me today at the bar with noone else looking a drink and didnt even ask would you like another, I went to the bar with the glass I wasnt sitting there. The staff are costing you money.

Food was unpleasant. Definitely reheated not at all fresh and was expensive considering it was just bar food. The food itself tasted okay but was noticeably reheated. Staff we're more interested in talking to each other and on their phones. It took 45 minutes to get a pint after ordering and it wasn't busy at all. Good range of choice on the menu. It's popular in the area and I can't understand why.

went in on a busy evening didn’t have a table booked but the waitress Erin was very helpful, food was really good and the millie’s club was excellent. Got served by Brendan i think his name was? we had a great chat and service. overall the atmosphere was really good, also the bar staff where super helpful! would definitely recommend.

Servers where lovely great with the kids. food was disappointing chef even more disappointing in attitude would definitely give millies another go from the sevice alone, hopefully a new chef in by then.

Bar staff was extremely rude when I complained about having a dirty glass.

Great day spent with the better half in Millies. The atmosphere was fantastic, Our food was absolutely delicious, the staff were amazing,oh and the Guinness was spot on!

This is the most popular pub in this area. Once you walked into the pub, you could feel the Irish passion immediately with pleasant sounds of talking and laughing. A separate area was celebrating a special event. Night time there was an acoustic guitarist&singer giving entertainment. We ordered some drinks and food, unfortunately the steaks were not that great and price was acceptable. One of the waitress named Naomi was super helpful. 5 stars for her.

Food is great but the service tonight from a particular waitress think her name was Ellie was terrible. Asked her for sauce, she said yes but instead of getting stuff just hid behind the bar and started us down. Obviously there was none handy to her so she just decided not to. Had to ask another waitress. Every other time she walked past she would stare us down or give us dirty looks. I didn’t even say anything inside. Hard to enjoy the good food when the service is this low level

No wine list and also wine came not chilled had to get ice to cool it. Service not good either. Staff didn't really know what they were doing.

Had to give food back, chicken salad was Disappointed. Handed out by kitchen porters and not the chief. Don't order steak sandwich if u are hungry. 4 bits of steak for £15.. a lot better when it was Mcglones..

Hands down the best chicken burger I’ve ever had. Get the Sweet Chilli Chicken burger.

It's not a bad place if your having a meal, or an afternoon drink, but avoid at weekends in the evening. It draws in the yobs, west Belfast low life etc. I never go to bars that need bouncers on the door, you usually get someone kicking off at the weekends.

You will see that we had identified this place before we arrived in Northern Ireland as worth a try! Oh Yes! It certainly was. Sunday night and it was fairly busy with a half hour left before the kitchen closed. Its well kept, smart and caters for all ages. We had the prawn cocktail - in an interesting style I have never experienced before - it was delicious. Then I had the seafood chowder - if I was really picky I would say a bit too much salmon - but hey! Glorious cool black stuff to welcome us over and Sally Can Wait blasting out- home from home! Well recommended!

I've been here before and it was 5 starts all round but this time they were under staffed and with 2 communion parties happening. With a few extra waiting staff, it would have been a perfect meal

Meal was small and chicken way over cooked. Lucky I didn't have false teeth. Would not recommend..unless I went on a bad day..but will not be back

Called in for a few drinks on a Sat night. It took over 30mins to get a drink. The barstaff are poor., no eye contact, never try and serve people in order, whoever is well known or shouts the loudest gets served. Also dogs in a bar??? And the music is too loud

we had a great lunch the food is great. the champ that came with my sea bass was beautiful my partner really enjoyed her burger , the waiting staff are so friendly. we cant wait to come for dinner all in all ten out of ten.

Great meal yesterday at Millies for Mothers Day. Had the soup and chicken stacker and was amazing. Service was fast ans food was hot and fresh. The free prosecco and rose for mothers was a lovely touch 🥰

We had several hours of time to waste before we boarded a ferry home. We went to several pubs in the area but none were dog friendly, then Millie's to the rescue. The pub is nicely decorated and has 2 restaurant areas and a bar area, food is served in both. Dogs as far as I'm aware were allowed in both but we sat in the bar area. The staff were friendly, as we're the locals. The pub had a really lovely vibe to it and the food was great and reasonably priced. We ended up staying for lunch and tea and had some bar nibbles off the menu and the beef burger and onion rings. Onion rings were proper rings of onion (not mush) deep fried with batter. If we visit Belfast again, we will definitely be back. Only recommendation for the pub is that whilst they allow dogs, they didn't bring a bowl of water over for the dogs, we had to sort ourselves out.

Celebrated my Son's 21st birthday here in the Linen Room. The service, buffet, staff and atmosphere was fabulous. Liam our barman for the evening was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Very organised and great value for money. Door staff even offered to help us down with pressies etc at end of the evening. Great value for money, thank you Maeve, your staff are a credit to you. Will definitely be celebrating family occasions here in future, stress free. 😊👏👏

It is so relaxed in here. The food is amazing and there was lots on the plate. I chatted with the locals and bar staff, lots of them had been to the Isle of Man (where I live) so it was easy to make friends/meet people.

Loud music absolutely ridiculous. My wife asked twice,could they turn down. We’re both 70. Just wanted a quiet meal. Not for me.

Service was very slow yet only our table and one other table we wanted to go out to patio but staff said no because there was going to be a party yet when we left more than 2 hours there was still no party the music was soooo loud we asked to have it turned down. They did but later it was back up again. It was our first time but I am sorry to say it is our last Thankyou x

Very creative interior design, bar and restaurant area with nice comfortable seating, also a lovely conservatory area. Nice menu, the roast dinner was delicious, nice friendly staff.

Fantastic customer service, food is delicious and very reasonable in price. Attended a private function upstairs, and it was well decorated with a great party atmosphere.

Ate here couple times and every time the food has been very good. Service good and the atmosphere always good. Will be back.

Arrived & had the door opened for us by a courteous man who I later realised was security. I thought he was just being polite opening the door for us (I’m not used to seeing security on the door while going for Sunday dinner 🤷🏻‍♀️). Got inside & was met by a smiling, friendly, welcoming member of staff who, despite us not having pre booked a table, seated us at a lovely, spacious table with comfortable seats & a view of the wall mounted TV that my husband was delighted with as football was showing….as is usual for anywhere we go now that I think about it 🤔🤨 Our orders were taken, drinks served quickly & the food was really lovely, it was delicious!! Our server was really friendly, she was so so lovely, I just wish I could remember her name 🤦🏻‍♀️ Sorry!! She was efficient & nothing was a bother to her. Now for the 2⭐️ part (sorry Millies, but I wish I’d have known this kind of thing before we went so id have been prepared)…. We took our drinks outside after eating as it was lovely weather. We sat at a table but the smell of stale cigarettes was really nasty, then we realised that people had been using the courtesy dog water bowls as ash trays. Looking round, there was a couple of dog bowls up on the tables filled with ash, cigarette ends & other bits of rubbish. We moved to a corner seat & right away was joined by a man who, after larking about a bit, straight off asked ‘What foot did we kick with?’….wth?? 😳 Well, apparently, we kick with a foot each so I was told! (Maybe we should enter some egg n spoon races as it seems we would be hands down world gold medalists being together with one kicking foot each, never mind being married & having not yet used that one kicking foot on each others heads!!). 20mins & some questionable comments/actions later plus those of a friend who wasnt a friend but was a friend 🥴 ……this brief involvement made us leave. We had had a few very early mornings & just wanted a quiet night as we had another early morning the next day too. I would absolutely revisit here for service, dinner & drinks but I would give sitting in the bar or outside a miss if I just wanted to unwind a bit. The staff can’t control who chats to you obviously so this is why I reiterate now that the place, staff, food & service in itself was excellent!!

Great food and staff. Reasonably priced and an excellent location. What more could you want? If you don't want food it's a great place on a quiet Monday or Tuesday (food is served every other day). Very relaxed atmosphere. Just a great pub! Highly recommended!

omg where do I start, heard great reports about this place so was looking forward to going for my nephews birthday , was seated at the restaurant end of the room, went to the bar to get a drink, stood waiting, there must be a force field at that end keeping the 6 bar men at the other end of the bar getting in each others way so i walked round to were they were, started ordering a round, notced the guy was lifting a rock shore instead of the magners id asked for I told him thats wrong, his reply "no its not look at your table" pointing behind me, I said im not sitting there im round at the restaurant 😣 I said these 2 pints are they the rockshore I asked for he says "no its Carlsberg, i said id take them anyway handed him the money and shouted to keep the change, no acknowledgement thought he hadn't heard me he went put the money in the till and walked off, no sorry, thank you, nothing. Now for the food 4 overcooked breaded chicken goujons and some over salted skinny fries, goujons would cut the roof of the mouth of you. Talking to my brother who was facing me next thing music ramped couldn't hear each other and I mean it was so loud, there were 13 of us for dinner, niece went to pay the bill, over £200 she tipped £20. back at the table she is wondering that since she'd paid a £70 deposit was it not a bit expensive ( no starter no dessert and drink separate ) she enquired and it turns out they hadn't taken her £70 into account so was over charged by 70 quid its as well she realised..... Would not recommend this place and none of us will be back, we'll have any other special occasion somewhere else.

This was the first time we were here.We had daube of beef with roast and cream potatoes and vegetables. For dessert I had hot chocolate fudge cake and my friend had jam +coconut sponge with custard. All the food was delicious hot and served quickly by the staff who were friendly and helpful and nothing was to much bother. We will definitely be back.

We have used Millies on a number of occasions, and it is always came up trumps with both the food quality and the service. Needless to say we will be back in the future. Can't say much more than that for a recommendation. Plus giving both a 5 star mark.
