Miller & Carter Cannock in Cannock Chase

I have only just got around to typing this review, but myself, my husband and son visited Miller and Carter Cannock back in January for a meal in memory of my mum. She had wanted us to have a small family get together to celebrate her life and I am so pleased I chose this venue. When I booked, I explained the situation and asked if we could be seated away from the main area and my request was met. We were greeted warmly and shown to a table in the corner by a window. I am sorry, I cannot remember the name of our waiter, but he was lovely and attentive without being intrusive. The men had steaks, I had the roast lamb and we ordered various sides. I was happy to see Mediterranean roasted vegetables on the menu, such a welcome change. We then finished off with various desserts. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal from start to finish and then raised a glass to mum with our delicious wine. Thank you to all at Miller and Carter for making our emotional visit such a lovely evening.

Went for late lunch early tea for fixed price lunch menu just before 5pm. Excellent service from very polite and professional young oriental gentleman, fantastic attention and politeness and attentiveness 10/10. Service from him outstanding, food excellent, tasty, good portions, good value for money on fixed price menu. Switched our onion loaf with steak for long stem brocoli instead. Chef had no problem with it. I love M&C. Admit I'm quite a regular x

We came for a treat lunch as a family for the set menu, we were greeted and sat immediately. Our order was taken promptly and when I was asked if I wanted chunky chips I was looking forward to home cooked. Eventually (and hour after ordering) I was served with Wetherspoon equivalent chips. The steak was impeccable which makes it such a shame the quality falls down on the sides. We also noticed that their dress code is not adhered to. There was a gentleman that was allowed to dine wearing workwear which was dirty. This should not have been allowed especially as we were dressed up.

Excellent meal & great service from Kieran. Would recommend. They certainly know how to cook a steak..perfection. 5 stars

We try and go to Miller and Carter every year for a joint birthday, anniversary and valentines meal. This place did not disappoint. Helpful staff and food was as you would imagine, great.
