We were welcomed by a lovely lady, our server was so helpful and he was very attentive throughout our meal. Food was fantastic, only slight negative was the crème brûlée was a wee bit runny but still tasted great.

The best steak I’ve had in a long time, Diane was amazing and an asset to your team. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Diane made this experience top notch! My husband is coeliac and she was very helpful when advising him on options he could choose for the Sunday set menu. She even spoke to the chefs about altering the creme brulee to make it gluten free - so reassuring when serving each course. Not only that but she remembered from a brief conversation on arrival that it was my Grans 82nd birthday and brought her out a chocolate covered Happy Birthday plate. She's a true credit to the restaurant. Thanks again Diane!

Having been here a few times when we it was my sons 21st we knew this is the place to go and we we’re not disappointed. There was 12 of us and everyone loved the food and drinks the service was top notch as usual. I highly recommend the butchers block although I prefer the ribs instead of the marrow but honestly a fantastic night 10/10

I am more of an occasional visitor to your restaurant rather than a regular diner but on EVERY occasion I have visited I have always encountered issues which have disappointed me. Our recent visit, last Monday, was no exception. We have never had any issues whatsoever with the food, the quality of which is always first class. Last Monday, we were greeted in a very offhand manner by your receptionist who led us to our table and passed the menus to us before leaving. As I took my menu I noticed it was wet and sticky and was marked in several places where wet glasses had obviously been placed on top of it. Not exactly a good first impression for a restaurant such as yourselves. My wife has a medical condition which restricts what she is able to eat but she decided to have salmon, potatoes and vegetables, only to be advised that there was no salmon available, at which point, she was offered sea bass as an alternative, which she accepted. Our server, Graham, who was excellent, and most apologetic, then quickly returned and advised my wife that they had no potatoes. What kind of reputable, and well managed establishment cannot operate an adequate stocking policy to ensure that customer choices are available at all times? Additionally, our server Graham then returned to advise me that my own choice of steak, a 10oz Aberdeen Filet Mignon, was also not available and I had to accept an 8oz fillet steak instead. We shall seriously consider whether we return to your establishment again.

We had a lovely evening at M&C. Food and wine were superb, and the service from Diane was fantastic.
