Fella in the chip shop was so dead on! Give me a free sosij super for me and my mate! Fella in the chip shop for prime minister Sausage was excellent, thoroughly enjoyed by all. Chips were equally unreal

Just tried to eat the 'chicken dinner' and chicken curry with chips - unsuccessfully, as it was inedible. Worst meal we've had for quite a while, will never be back.

placed order for delivery at 7 30pm. order arrived at 6 30pm! rang shop, very helpful, promised to sent out new order on time and collect first delivery.at 7 50pm i had to ring again, to be told order was on its way. it did arrive shortly later, one fish excellent but other totally overcooked. first time, last time.

Really bad we were missing a bottle of coke zero a kids drink and the kids meal only had on small fish goujon in the meal if you like only getting half the order you payed for this is the place for you

Don’t get to come here often but when I do it is great. Great selection and the staff are really friendly.

I highly recommend this chip shop as allergen friendly. I have been twice and have gotten gluten free chicken tenders and chips and haven’t had any sort of reaction afterwards. I have a good list of intolerances so this is fab. Lovely food! The rest of the family love the food from the normal menu too.

My wife and I had a battered cod and chip here. One of the worst fish we have ever had. I would suspect they were frozen and allowed to thaw before being fried. The fish was sooooooo dry. On a positive note the chips were well cooked.Complained to staff when paying the bill whose response was “ Sorry you didn’t enjoy “.Will not be back.

My son is Coeliac and we find it quite hard to get GF chips let alone anything else. We have recently found Millars and have had meals from here several times over the past couple of months. They cook their chips separately and offer GF batter for chicken strips, fish or a pasty. It doesn't seem to matter what day it is, what time it is or how busy they are, they always have GF options.

Have visited with my husband many times. The food is always fresh and tasty and overall our experiences are worthy of five stars due to the down-to-earth friendly staff. However, recently a new employee has been hired and we have received unfriendly and ungrateful service from her. A smile and a thank you cost NOTHING: indeed, not smiling may cost the business more and some would look at the grumpy tan and leave for good.

The breaded chicken goujons in Millars are phenomenal and go amazing with the sweet chili dip, of coarse get the meal because the chips are quality too. Always pleasant staff and quick enough with the order.

This is a really excellent chippy, use it quite a lot on route to caravan site, staff even know that we are going to caravan and have wrapped food up for us in tin foil to keep it warm, excellent service and good portion sizes

Love this chip shop and hard for them to be beaten by price and/or service. Ring in your order and have it ready for collection or order over the couter, quick nip into the garage and out and you will not have long to wait. Great service and great staff, you can see where effective and dedicated driven management has lead to increased staff performance and customer satisfaction as a result, well done, hope to get here more.

We are working in ards for 2 months at the minute and this is first stop for lunch , this chippy is extremely clean and tidy and the staff are very friendly. We travel all over the country and eat in many different chippies and this is definitely one of the best. The food is really nice and they give u really good portions at lunch time at very reasonable prices. The chicken strips are really lovely and we always look forward to lunch time . I would rate this chippy a 9 out of 10

My family and I went to Millars to celebrate my wife's birthday. The service was excellent and the meal was exceptional. The cost for the meal was very reasonable. I would recommend Millars to every one.

You will regret spending that hard earned or saved cash in this place. We visited just the once and it was enough. I should have taken heed of the warning signs as we sat down at our table, as just across I noticed 3 plates on the table with hardly anything eaten off it. Make an allowance I said maybe the people weren't hungry. Oh my!!!!!! I was hungry but I left a plate of food as well. The chips were overcooked too many times and the fish was rotten. The coke was nice but then again no-one had anything to do with it except put the bottle down.

My wife and I went here for the 1st (and last) time yesterday. I ordered 2 fish supper meals. We were very disappointed. The chips were so hard. It looked like they had been re-fried. The batter on the fish was like rubber. The best part of the meals were the bottles of Diet Coke! Big let down at £18.

Have tried many chip shops in the NI province. But none which beats the taste and quality of the food provided here.

Best chippy in ards wouldnt eat in any other chippy good food and portions are big good value for money

We called in to our local chippie and decided to try the sit-in. Great value battered chicken goujon meal with choice of dip- curry sauce what else!! and a drink. Warm freshly cooked meals that we all enjoyed in a clean family friendly seating area.

Food is always good at Millars. just this time the batter on the sausage was just not crispy enough... to Mary Berry it there was a soggy bottom however food is quality product and well priced!

I bought a portion of chips which cost £2.65 but when I got home & opened them I found that the portion contained a lot of very small thin chips & a lot of hard scrap ends which I could not eat & should have been put in the bin instead of being served to your customer.

Unless it was closed and I was desperate this is the first port of call for chip shop food! Their burgers are particularly good and well put together.

I travel from Comber most weeks to have food here. So fresh and generous portions. The kids meals are lovely, nutritious and such good value, forget about happy meals!! Staff always very friendly and served with a smile.

Millars is a fantastic traditional chippy. Easy parking, speedy service. Good quality meals across the menu. Place is spotless ! thoroughly recommended !

Get carryout here every week or two. Best chippy in Newtownards and cod beautifully prepared and cooked. Not greasy and great portions.

This is our local chippy and we love it. The food is always tasty and well cooked. There is usually a long queue but that's ok; for me that's a good sign. Fish suppers and pastie suppers are lovely.

Have been going here weekly since they opened (over 14 years ago). The standard of food has always been excellent, the sit-in is always clean and the staff are great. Prices are very reasonable - where else can three people get fed for under £20?

Best Ever Chips! Fresh and have that bit of crispiness that I love! It's has a sit in area which is very child friendly.

My best friend lives in Scotland but when he's home we always go for at least one Millar's. You just can't beat it, and the staff are always so accommodating. 10/10 every time for me!

Regular 2 Cod and a Curry chip. Fantastic Cod, not too heavy with the batter, no big crispy ends. Never been let down yet. Great chips from local spuds and a sweet curry sauce. Fillet burgers are a real treat too.

The fish served here are to die for. The chips are also excellent. The volume of people who use this place speaks for it'self. Best in Ards.

Millars is your typical local chippy. Just around the corner. serving great fish and chips although the menu is very extensive. There isn't much that you couldn't get at Millars spic and span and with greae parking..

As you get from Ireland and Scotland you get a meal with your main course ... I. E. You get a few chips so you get a tea in reality... and have to say the sausage they use are to die for!!

Their pasties are the best we have tasted and it is sure that they use a quality supplier for their products - sausages are out of this world (just wish I could transport it to home!)
