No stars from me I've been goin to the milestone for several years now a great local and excellent friendly staff Not now . staff who serve you (when they put there phones down ) have no socal skills and no manners .empty plates and glasses on tables I got paid my change in 10p and 5p a total of £2.80! Not got a glue how to run a pub..... avoid

Came with the family, great atmosphere in the pub for everyone. Staff are great and place is reasonably priced. Would recommend visiting

Nice friendly place good food good prices

We visited the Milestone Crystal Peaks recently and the food was awful, it was cold burnt and didn’t taste of anything. I wouldn’t be coming back to this pub while the current staff are there. The staff aren’t in uniform and it looks very unprofessional and the music was too loud you couldn’t hear each other speak.

Called last night for drink after day trip to Scarborough ended the day brilliantly

A wait for the food but was well worth that wait. Fish and Chips were excellent , crispy batter on fish and great chips. Burgers were tasty and the dip was nice also. Overall if you are looking for a nice meal at Crystal Peaks this is well worth trying.

Depends on the time you go, afternoon in the week is best

I know the place was busy but it was not the wait for food that was the problem. Went to bar just to order burger and chips for me and a snack for wife. Did not expect to be handed knifes and forks with my drinks from the bar. when the food came it was barely edible the chips over cooked and greasy, the lettuce in the burger looked like it had a shorter life than Liz Truss. As for the Chicken tasted it like the cheapest you could buy and the Bun put up a very good fight just to cut through it. Tables were cleared from other customers but saw no attempt to wipe them. Will not bother to visit again.

Excellent visit! Good, live music coupled with Guinness, comfortable surroundings and fine service means a thumbs up from me.

They are always so friendly and welcoming here,and cant do enough to help 5heir customers.we only called in for a drink today but food is usually lovely.

Had to be the most bland cheeseburger Ive ever tasted. No flavour, no seasoning and burger sauce bland too. Pleasant and friendly staff and nice looking bar but avoid the menu.

Food poor 2 meals sent back were not as menu and requested , staff seemed overwhelmed, although pub was practically empty we had to wait nearly 1hr for all to be served with the basics from the menu, some of our party of 5 were finished before the rest were served

A great place to relax with friends and have something nice to eat and drink. Very spacious, friendly staff and nice furnishings.

Managed to squeeze us in for mother's day, waiting staff very welcoming and friendly. Dog friendly which was great. We ordered medium rare steaks but they came well done / overcooked and tough (see attached photo). Carvery was lovely though and the Stuffing was the best I've had. We had a table booked for a couple hours but the person after us turned up an hour early, sat near to us and made us feel very uncomfortable / hurrying us up. Kept giving us side eyes and dirty looks and heard something about overstaying (we left 15 minutes before their slot, didn't even overstay).

Girl serving was nice enough. . But some of the music...absolutely horrific. Heavy metal with 'death growl'. Sooo not appropriate considering the type of pub and clientele.

Great staff, good pub but the Nachos for the price were a big let down...

Terrific friendly staff who will always give the customer what they want. Even if its a bit quirky. 🤣 Karl and Lesley are fabulous hosts. Plenty of live music at the weekends as well as jam nights through the week and a brilliant karaoke on Fridays with Lindsey.

I'd booked a table for myself and two friends. For a Christmas a good experience at all. We were informed that there was a 15 to 20 wait for food not a problem, but we waited over 45 with no apology and a couldn't care attitude. We asked to speak to the manager and although she was apologetic her demeanour was not caring waffling on about other people having preordered on what was a quiet Monday by the time we were waiting. Food was not the best and looked like it had been dumped on the plate, no sauce on the side as described in the menu. Fries where hard, no real taste to the veggie burgers, and the Philly baguette had no onion s and two bits of pepper, it had obviously been microwaved due to the texture of the bread. We complained to the manager and she offered no solution, we asked for a free dessert as compensation and she reluctantly agreed. We waited longer than necessary, Needless to say we won't be coming again. Staff need some customer care training. It's a shame because it used to be a great pub

First time to centre and this pub large range of beers and lager pub food comfy and warm friendly staff worth a visit.

Only come in a few times to watch a live band play. Cannot comment on the food, but the staff are lovely and have great banter. The pub is quite warm inside and has an outside heater as well if you do go outside

Had a fab night at my friends 60th, lovely bar staff, just not enough of them. I didn't eat the food, but it looked lovely and plenty of it.

Not happy with the bar staff. Ok when the landlady's there but they don't bother keeping the customers served or attended to when she's not . Don't know who's in charge then but not doing a very good job.

Went for our lunch with our friends but was disappointed with the portion size of the hunters chicken I've never seen such a small chicken breast not very good

Just got a good proper pub vibe to it. Bit old school and thankfully no chart music although there is a juke box if you want. Decent all round 👍

Great venue, great staff, great atmosphere. Carlos hosts a great music scene. Been coming here since it was build in the late 80's. Sunday afternoon acoustic Jam is excellent and is my usual place for an acoustic fix. More recently I went to the Wednesday eve electric jam for a change and it was a cracker. Great sound, great musicians - live music, you can't beat it. 🎹 🎸

If you are a music fan you should go on wednesdays when they have jam night and people turn up get together and sing and play instruments.Chips and sausage free for everyone. Great night out.

I’ve been coming to the Milestone since the day it opened, even spending a few years behind the bar. The Pub is old school with a lounge/ dining area , also with a separate tap/games room. Entertainment most weekends, worthy of a visit the next time your visiting Crystal Peaks.

Friendly atmosphere, always something going on with jam nights, comedy club, psychic evening and live bands. Great food and lovely staff.

Good service excellent company staff cleaning work areas and seating areas regularly no faults at all oh carvery looked very nice but had a joint in the oven for Sunday lunch at home so will try the carvery another Sunday

Great place for entertainment karaoke on Friday nights 10/10 food is amazing will definitely eat again and entertainment great place for a few pints on a Friday night can’t wait for next Friday

Had Sunday lunch, had to wait for cauliflower cheese as run out, then they run out of mash potatoes, 1 very thin slice of meat given not value for money at all

Went for a Sunday carvery, The woman that served us at the bar was misserable and abrupt, Unfortunately there was very little in terms of options, Yorkshire puddings and Stuffing were dry and rock hard. Roast potatoes were under cooked and mash was lumpy. And only beef gravy that was very watery and didn't take of anything (no Onion gravy!!!!)

The milestone is a great place for a meal or just for a drink .live band every Saturday, karaoke on Fridays and jams Sundays and Wednesdays worth a visit

It's alright. Good Hobgoblin. Update. Much the same but I now drink Wainwrights. Pub is probably worth 3.5 rating. Quite welcoming, Update 2 Jun 23. Had food today. Very acceptable quality.

What can I say. Great experience all the way. Friendly staff, good menu and very reasonabljy priced. The food was perfect, piping hot and c tasty. Give it a go !!

It's ok I suppose. Far worse pubs in the area but I won't really be rushing back.

First time I've been. Went to see a local band. Band was great, Bar staff excellent. General ambience of place really good.

Very friendly staff and very helpful with manu. The food is excellent, nice and hot when served. A good size of fish with chips just right with the mushy peas. To top it off a good drink to wash the meal down.

What more can you ask for, Curry, Rice, Chips, Nann, Poppadom and a pint for less than £9.00. Rock up on a Wednesday or Thursday and you get an extra 20% off, and to top it off, free Jam Sessions on a Wednesday night. Local pubs are some of the best and this place does not disappoint

Went today to meet up with family, not been here for some time as we left the area a while ago. Had a great time, non alchololic ciders on offer ,we had 60 odd mile round trip. Great atmosphere. The food was really good. Vegetarian menu for my daughter was good too.

Been for Christmas day dinner food and service was brilliant could not wish for a better Christmas dinner and value thanks to all the staff

Amezing place to hang around food is awesome

We visited this pub after a shopping trip at Crystal Peaks. It is really well situated and has a mix of indoor/outdoor seating. The carvery was our choice of food which unfortunately wasn't as hot as we'd have liked. The music was quite intrusive; Black Sabbath throughout our meal. We asked the waitress if she could arrange fir the music to be changed/turned down; regrettably she asked the manager but he ignored our request.

Nice place, more like a proper pub compared to the others in the area. The food options are good and the Veg/vegan food they offer are better than most pubs and that definitely includes Wetherspoons.

I wrote a review on here about 3 hours ago that was very negative towards The Milestone. After having a very polite response from Karl the manager, I realise I've mistaken the establishment for another pub nearby. I went to the Milestone first but could see how busy it was, so left without even leaving my car and went to the other establishment where my bad experience happened. I can only offer my sincerest apologies to Karl and his staff. I should have sat down for an hour before rushing my review to give myself chance to calm down. Sorry.
