Delicious Food with comfy spaces.

Great Yemeni cuisine, value for money, Mandi is a must try. the gravy was a bit cold but was delicious. the staff were nice and friendly. the street parking space is available in the next street. in total great experience of a middle eastern cuisine.

Authentic middle eastern food. Absolutely delicious. Lovely service. Really friendly staff. We came searching for authentic food and we were really pleased with what we received. We sat in the family room downstairs which had floor seating and loved it!

Worst restaurant in the world, rude staff, disgusting food, no respect, toilets haven’t been cleaned since 90s, I’ve ordered half chicken after 1 min they gave me one but what cold half chicken when I say cold really cold though, I asked them get me something warm or fresh one but they just put on the grill again and taste was like eating charcoal. If I ask for freezing food I would rather get it in ASDA or ALDI. Don’t even think about try this restaurant in your life guys trust me.

Enjoyed chicken mandi and lamb mandi Very good taste and quality of food. No parking space in front of the restaurant. Good and enough sitting area for dinning in. Family halls and Asian sitting also available in the basement. Preserved soup is very popular and tasty

Unfortunately it only gets worse. It got more expensive and the portions got lot smaller. We ordered Mandi for 2 and only got 1 tiny pot of sauce. Not the mention salads which is just chopped lettuce, few cucumbers and big chunks of onion. Customer service not to standard at all

I am sorry to report that my dining experience at this restaurant was nothing short of a culinary disaster. The food was an uninspiring mixture of flavors that left my taste buds scratching their heads, and the service was very impressive in its indifference. The atmosphere was like a forgotten storage room, and I left with a feeling of lingering regret and an almost empty stomach. Save yourself the agony and eat somewhere else.

Best place to have authentic mandhi.

I have become a regulat Middle Eastern as the food is excellent. Don't go expecting a fancy restaurant with a big menu, all the dishes I have tried so far have all been excellent, especially the grilled sea bass and its excellent value for money so you can't go wrong.

I went to eat in this place twice, i loved the food and the tee is perfect 👌 absolutely will visit again and again

Delicious food and very authentic!

They have a variety of Arab dishes. The portions are big and tasty. They also serve a complimentary lamb soup while you wait for your food.

Amazing taste with very affordable price. Once you been here you not gonna try anywhere else, everything fresh and delicious, Seating area is good with WC and hand washing place. Big place for a whole family down stairs.

Bad customer service 👎🏻 more than 40 minutes for half chicken with rice collection & only cash they don’t accept card at all what kind of restaurant in the UK do’s not accept cards payment!!?

One of the best places to eat out in all of Liverpool. Had the fahsah, mango lassi & the Yemeni tea. All top quality, along with excellent & welcoming service

One of the best mix grill I ever had for a long time. The lamb chops are so tasty. I choosed to have one tray with different mix grill. Karak tea is nice and also some of the desserts. The place is slightly noisy as it is always busy but you can have a place with the family downstairs. The staff memebers are friendly but sometimes they take time when it is so busy in the resturant. Overall, very tasty food with reasonable prices and will go there again 👍.

Good food for cheap prices and quantity is also good. The problem is shortage of staff and it gets really busy towards evening. The staff is as much confused during those hours as the customers.

I ate delicious food today tha best place

I ordered normal chicken mandi for two. We called the restaurant many times and they said the driver is on the way!! Then said that the delay is because of the buzy . I was waiting for almost 3 hours. Finally they said can’t delivered the food because of late. It was a very bad experience .

Used to be our favourite Mandi / kabsa place but not anymore . Prices increased and quality and quantity reduced considerably. Probably new management! Definitely looking for something new from now .

Lovely food, huge portions and so so reasonably priced. The rice is absolutely delicious, the meat is wonderful and we genuinely haven’t had a single bad thing there.

Tried the lamb chops (5) and rice for £11 and it was very tasty. Proper lamb chops with meat on and flavoursome and the rice is some of the best rice I have tasted ever. So fluffy and tasty . Will be back to try other dishes very very soon.

This is a really great restaurant, the food is delicious, expertly prepared, and served to you at your table. My own favourite dish is the "Fahsa" which I have served with flat bread and Adeni Tea. Liverpool is a City full of hidden gems, and you have to explore the different areas of this great city, you will find this restaurant in the Lodge Lane community situated a little outside of the centre of Liverpool. I visit this restaurant regularly, I enjoy the atmosphere and food so much, it's one of my favourite places to eat. أوصي بشدة هذا المطعم. إنه مكان رائع لتناول الطعام مع أصدقائك وعائلتك.

Food and service was really good. There is a rate difference in the menu card and bill for the same item. So be aware before order the food . Its a kind of cheating.

Lovely food: Lamb Mendhi was so nice. The meat was so soft and tasty. The rice lightly fragranced. The Lamb Kabsa was tasty too - again lovely rice. Our son had the lamb kebab he was pleased. Excellent value - the portions were large. The food was delicious. The price was very fair. I have to recommend the Khoubz - the picture can’t describe how lovely light and flaky the bread was. Perfect!

The order took 2 hours to be delivered although they said it will be delivered within 30-60 minutes. We called the restaurant many times and they said the driver is on the way!! Then said that the delay is because of the rain. Eventually they delivered the order after 2 hours and the meals weren't hot enough, just warm. This was very unprofessional to do this with customers. The restaurant is 3 minutes away by car, if they were honest from the start, I would have collected the order instead of waiting for 2 hours!!

Was looking for a particular restaurant in the area but it was closed. A person who happened to be there recommended me to go to this restaurant. It was a blessing. The food was authentic, simple, delicious and very satisfying. Yemeni tea served was superb. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended

Mandhi is 5/5, but they didn't serve soup with it for takeout after especially asking for it.

Very nice place with amazing food

I ordered through phone call and went there for collection and they said only card . I drive aboard 4 miles to get there. And one of a b*st*d from staff literally push me away. And tried to attack me . This place is ridiculous and will not suggest to anyone

We had lamb mandi there the taste was just Ok and the presentation was nice, it was not what i was looking for in terms of taste, but tea was really nice

This place offers Mandi(specially Lamb Mandi,the best in town),a middle eastern cuisine.

I ordered the chicken and lamb mandi, and I can confidently say it was some of the best mandi I've ever had. The portions are big and generous. I got the tea afterwards and it was very heart warming. The meal took a bit but it was definitely worth it. A must visit in Liverpool.

Worst service ever. Took hours to make 3 chicken mandi and get it delivered. They never have change even though they take cash and always take more money than the change they give back. Never ordering again.

Visited today to try Yemenite food and it was super delicious. Big plates and big portions and the prices are excellent. We got the lamb mandi, chiken kafsa and the shaa(something) bread with yoghurt. Really delicious, the lamb melted in my fingers and it was super tender, the chiken was so soft and tender aswell. We ate so much! The portions were super generous. You have to come early to have a sit because it's a very busy place and the food takes some time to arrive. I recommend this place, we will be back to try the other items on the menu. Update: we came back and this time was so disappointing. They trick us with the chicken, we ordered half of chiken and it was clearly not the half and also ordered a kebab and they out 3 pieces a lots of rice, we went another place to eat bc we still very hungry

The food (lamb mandhi, the bread with black seeds, the meat broth, the fresh lime and mint juice... ) never disappoints, the staff is always kind, and everything reasonably priced, we always come back and take people there for them to taste the deliciousness ma shaa Allah. May Allah increase you.

Very traditional and homely Yemeni restaurant. Great food which was prepared instantly. Everyone is chatty, and friendly, as it seems the customers and staff all know eachother. Probably not for everyone, but as someone who likes a relaxed, traditional experience, it was perfect. Bathrooms could be cleaner.

I went there yesterday and was not sure as was visiting from overseas. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was very good and tasty and portion size was quite big. Complementary soup and chips for kids. Down stairs cleanliness can be improved and especially toilets area. Very slippery due to tiles and may some slip some day and break his bones.

What a poor experience I had there waited for 50 mins for my food to find out they did not even prepare, at the end had to take my money. Guy, on till had a horrible attitude, no customer service, not even said sorry. They all started saying things in Arabic as I dont understand and was laughing. I will even raise my concerns with food and safety as I noticed they were putting leftover soup back in the kettle.

Amazing food with generous quantity and great customer service. The food is really fresh and comes on a platter. Staff were prompt, as always freshly cooked food. The service provided was very quick which seems unreal for such fresh food.

Two hours late and poor service

Hygiene standards of this place is really bad... the whole place and the toilets are just atrocious... the people who work there have no regard for customer satisfaction as they took money from me and gave me the wrong order and then never even bothered to give the right order after they realised the mistake, they took extra money and gave me some wierd lamb dish... when I tried to call them up, they blocked my call..

worst experience i had ever not for the food but for the services they are providing, on Friday 9/12/2022 we were 9 friends sitting in canteen of liverpool hope university and ordered food from them around 13:00 and they said that they will deliver food around 14:30 or before and they didn't deliver it until 16:00 , we were hosting friends for lunch they were going back to France that was last lunch together. but they made it worst and we were so embarrassed in front of our guests/friends eventually they had to go without eating any thing we they were getting late and the restaurant management was constantly lied that the food is on its way they lied for atleast 2 hours and even blocked me, I was never so embarrassed in my life than that. worst experience i have ever.

You will get the best arabic food at a cheaper rate. Must try is Chicken Mendi and Lamb mendi also you will get a complementry lamb soup for every meal. The cost for two will be £20. Must try

Another hidden gem. I drive 25 mins from mine to get food from here! So worth it! Wish they delivered in my area. Amazing food at great prices
