Usually decent food, although the prices aren’t great. I don’t particularly mind paying a bit more to support a local business, but I really struggle with the cash only situation. I only pop in when I’ve got cash - which is extremely rarely. Today I walked in and out again when I realised I didn’t have enough coins. Sorry, but I refused to get cash, just to pay high prices - so went to Tesco instead for a meal deal. I really hope the proprietors understand that in 2024 cash is not the king, and any money saved in fees and tax is tiny compared to the cash lost in missed sales. In short, I don’t mind the high prices but I’m not going to the cash machine just for this place!

You have got to be having a laugh! 7pm absolutely nothing left and closing the shutters. Ended up getting 2 sausages and 2 cans. Passed the man £4 for him to look at me in disgust… £7.40 he said with a cocky smirk upon his chops. I almost slipped on my back on the greasy tiles. £2.60 each for a single sausage, i actually had to question if these guys were being serious or not multiple times before revisiting my car to get some more cash. Now, im no cheapsake but and i am fully aware of value for money, however, please tell me what makes your sausage so special against any other chippy where you pay £1-£1.50 max. Absolute robbery. Unless your looking to spend a fortune for a damn right average chippy id spend an extra 50p in fuel and head down the road to another establishment.

30 Moss LaneThe food was terrible, hardly any fish in the batter and it had a funny taste, , the rice was stodgy , and the honey & lemon duck wasn’t great, couldn’t taste any honey, it was all lemon, most of the meal was wasted as it wasn’t edible, I wish I saved my £26.00, this place used to be really nice , now it’s terrible , i definitely won’t be going back,

680 Chester RoadI went here for a snack before the England vs New Zealand match. When you walk in it smells like batter (like most chicken shops.) I ordered the 2 piece meal with chips. The chips are quite clearly straight from the freezer and they tasted pretty dry. However they had red salt which was a nice touch. The chicken was very good though. The thighs were juicy and had a good flavour. The batter also tasted good too. The food came hot which was also pleasing. The place served me quick and I was pleased about that. It also has an indoor sitting area. I wouldn’t recommend you sit in as slightly grimy. Also another thing I noticed that was a bit weird was that the freezer said frozen goods on it. Overall if you need a quick snack get the chicken and probably avoid the chips. It’s a decent fast food place
