Chips have been cold when received and sometimes not fully cooked through, everything else is good

Nearly £5 for chips and curry a small tray Wasn’t asked what curry I would like salt and vinegar aplied after curry And also stinks of fat

Just had chips and gravy and they was spot on. A little expensive. 'Cash only' isn't the smartest business strategy in this day and age.

Usually decent food, although the prices aren’t great. I don’t particularly mind paying a bit more to support a local business, but I really struggle with the cash only situation. I only pop in when I’ve got cash - which is extremely rarely. Today I walked in and out again when I realised I didn’t have enough coins. Sorry, but I refused to get cash, just to pay high prices - so went to Tesco instead for a meal deal. I really hope the proprietors understand that in 2024 cash is not the king, and any money saved in fees and tax is tiny compared to the cash lost in missed sales. In short, I don’t mind the high prices but I’m not going to the cash machine just for this place!

You have got to be having a laugh! 7pm absolutely nothing left and closing the shutters. Ended up getting 2 sausages and 2 cans. Passed the man £4 for him to look at me in disgust… £7.40 he said with a cocky smirk upon his chops. I almost slipped on my back on the greasy tiles. £2.60 each for a single sausage, i actually had to question if these guys were being serious or not multiple times before revisiting my car to get some more cash. Now, im no cheapsake but and i am fully aware of value for money, however, please tell me what makes your sausage so special against any other chippy where you pay £1-£1.50 max. Absolute robbery. Unless your looking to spend a fortune for a damn right average chippy id spend an extra 50p in fuel and head down the road to another establishment.
