Very bland food & portion size for a kebab restaurant in the heart of a affluent area

Hardly any meat, loaded the meal for 2 with rice and pitta bread and chips. Lamb was chewy food was cold overall not a good experience and will not be ordering again. £40 for rice and pitta bread

Such a shame as food was lovely but the order was incorrect had ordered the combo kebab x2 portions of chicken shish but only 1 was delivered. I don't expect a refund or anything from these guys but just hope when I order from them again they read the order properly as everything else was perfect 😊

A very tasty Halloumi Kebab with Salad,Cacik and Spinach Tarator followed by TurkisBaklava Mezze Mangel caled me to say they had run out of Ayran (Yogurt Drink) and offered me a replacement which I accepted My meal was delivered hot and on time

Staff really nice, cannot fault them. The food though was dry, no taste at all and the rice was like uncle bens microwave rice.

Ordered a doner kebab, got back to my hotel. Everything was in separate containers so had make my own kebab when I got back and realised the tray of grisly doner meat was half full with rice. Don’t get it

One of the best mix kebab I’ve ever had. Lamb shish and kofte super juicy and tender. Doner with that crust I love so much. Everything super tasty. Salad, sauces and pita too.

The best quality meet you can find in the area at great price!!! I've been customer of Meze Mangal for a few years now and the quality of food is great. The kebaps are great and always fresh food served here. The owner is soo generous that he spoils us with sweets on special days. I would highly recommend to anyone who like to eat good food.

First time I came here I was greeted by Alex who went above and beyond for me in terms of customer service. Food was exceptional aswell. On my last two recent visits:travelled all the way to them to find out they had closed up shop early and todays visit travelled over an hour to find 2 and a half hours before closing they have finished their donner. For a Turkish establishment where majority of orders would be donner meat and chips this is unacceptable. The two stars is reflected upon the last two visits. Otherwise with Alex in there, food and customer service is exceptional.

Mangal is the very best Turkish food outside of Green Lanes in north London. And the fish dishes are excellent. The major problem before was the absolute nutter with the white hair who looked like he wanted to murder everyone and had obvious personal issues - but he’s “left” now (jail probably) and the guys running it are all total gentlemen and really pleasant. I eat here every week and it’s absolutely superb.

The food was awful. There was very little of it. The chicken shish was cold and tough. A quarter portion of rice which was not Turkish. The child’s meal was appalling with a few greasy refried chips which were hand cut and looked like fried leftovers. Again a very small portion of food. I query if the reviews are genuine. I would never order again. I feel queasy.

Been ordering from Mezze Mangal ever since we moved to chorleywood. Literally order from here at least twice a month. The food is awesome, the meat always tender and the tarama is the best ive ever had. Always deliver on time and never had any issues! Please dont change anything :)

This was my first time eating here. it is a cheerful cafe-style restaurant with friendly service and food straight from the grill. The starters were delicious with piping hot pitta bread. Fish is always on offer if you don't want meat. You bring your own drink which drives the price down and can make for a merry evening with friends. i would certainly return.

Food was delicious and tasty. I ordered the set menu for 3-4 people and there was plenty to go around. It did however arrive earlier than expected

We left a note for the restaurant not to put any onions into our food, but it was not followed. Otherwise the food was good.

The thing is the food is actually good - never really had a complaint about quality or quantity. The problem here is attitude, there is nothing more important than customers, if they don’t feel comfortable coming in then they won’t. I was ordering and the guy didn’t even bother to look at me, tried to speed me up in ordering (there was no one else in there). I could’ve spent my £20 elsewhere, next time I might! Improve your service, you’re not doing anyone a favour being here, we are paying for it.

A lovely meal delivered 10 early minutes

The staff are rude especially the guy with the grey hair he thinks he owns the whole parade and his attitude is very hostile he needs to get some manners. The food was hard and portions small. when you ask anythings you get dirty looks so really not family friendly place.

Cacik was off. Yogurt must have been out of date. Metal scourer piece found on chicken Shish.

Pitta wrap was awful. Meat chewy and rest of ingredients tasted not fresh or off. Chips were soggy and yuck
