Really nice food and service will definitely be visiting again.

I was very impressed. Went on a Tuesday night, so it wasn’t super busy, but service was friendly and efficient. My colleague was Vegan, but they were very thorough in ensuring that everything was Vegan for him where possible. I had a selection of hot and cold starters that came with bread. It was all delicious and very generous portion wise. The Imam Bayildi is probably the best I’ve had. The place is a gem of a restaurant

Just went for dinner with my family and had a very nice time! The food is just amazing and the service absolutely fantastic! I took the Sicilian pistacchio dessert for take away and as a Sicilian I can confirm it’s delicious! Definitely we will come back again! Thank you for the nice evening

We were a party of 9 having a family meal on Sunday afternoon. The food service and ambience were excellent. I can recommend the musaka as second to none. Will certainly be returning.

This is a really nice looking place. Smartly presented and almost has a “cave” feel. The staff are polite and really helpful. BUT I ordered a vegetarian falafel wrap to takeaway, but it was dry, with soggy falafel, insufficient salad, and very average bread. It had no finesse at all. It’s really odd. such a nice place and staff, but the food is really poor. It is not TERRIBLE food, but it’s not good either. Wouldn’t visit again.

It's a shame. Restaurant looked authentic and welcoming. The manager and staff were courteous and service was good. The mains just lacked seasoning and the uthentic Turkish flavour. We did have a vegetarian meal, so maybe the non-veg might be different. Starters were good just not a wow!

Just went back to my favourite take away chicken shish. If you single like me try the chicken shish tomatoe sauce and yogurt take away. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. There hot sauce is heaven... Thank you guys and happy easter x 2 YEARS AGO. Meze like one of those hidden places. Been there for dinner but through these hard times been getting take away. Regularly lol 3 times a week. Staff are amazing food it's incredible. Top quality. Try there chilli sauce. I'm addicted. Support locals! Well done guys want me coming back for more x

We have recently moved into the area and thought we would book this place for dinner. Unfortunately I wasn’t aware until the last minute that they only have a 2star food hygiene rating 🤮🤢🤮🤢 so we left

Worst experience ever, the food was decent, aperently behaviour of the staff was extremely rude, they not even served water after dine !!!

We had a dinner here . Extremely poor service.We didn't order any drinks so he told that we can't give you tap water also.The second manager also said that the till is closed because u r late even though we were eating there and our food was remaining they denied to give the tap water .

I have driven past this restaurant on several occasions always meaning to stop. I finally did and what a lovely experience. The food was beautifully fresh- tasting with several dishes which I hadn't heard of. My friends all tried something different from the usual kebabs and were very complimentary. Prices were very good value. The staff were lovely. I shall be visiting again.

First visit having been enjoying takeaway from this restaurant throughout the various lockdowns. Delicious supper served outside on a warm summer evening and we were very grateful they were able to accommodate our late booking rather than another takeaway. Pricing is fair…although three “giant” shrimps rather than two would have been appreciated for my main course. The Bulgar wheat is highly recommended but all the food was good and very nicely served by the friendly staff.

We had a PERFECT lunch here, the restaurant was clean and the waitress who served us was really nice. We were lucky to have the whole room for us so eating in a relaxed atmosfhere has got the perfection to me. The food was AMAZING. One of the best meal I ate lately. Highly reccomend it! Visited restaurant this evening and was told as soon as we entered the place by the main waiter we only had a few minute to order and had to order quickly, without having any hospitality politeness. Food was good as we been before 6 months ago, but service from this particular waiter was rubbish and horrible. Because of that, I won't be attending to this place every again and defiantly won't be recommended this place to my friends and family. The only best service I got was this new waitress called Amy, she was very nice to us. but this guy who seem to be the manger was rude, making us rush, no smile, no kindness about him and we did not even feel like being there because of this. Not recommended place at all.

Really - GO HERE! I could not believe I had not been here in the years I have lived in Bushey. The food was AMAZING. Great and authentic. If you like Turkish food you WILL love this place!! I can't wait to return!!

Food portions very small. Good itself was nice. Overpriced for what you get. Better Turkish places locally. This was my second visit. I went a few years ago and did not think much but thought I would try it again. Sadly won’t return to this place now. A lot of improvements to be made!

Lovely food but fancy running out of pitta bread, esp when Tesco is next door. Big pieces of bread with Tara and tsatsiki isn't the same

Drove past this thinking we should try it. Called and made reservations which was easy and very quick. The starters were yummy especially the calamari. Crispy and fresh. The mains were good. No complaints. Nice place that’s local to where hubby works.

Another amazing lunch at Meze Mangal in Bushey Health. I highly recommend the chicken livers starter 😋 I have that every time now and what we sometimes do is have a mix of loads of starters instead of mains. Meant to take photos to share today but was 3/4 way through food when I remembered 😅 ... Next time. They have outside with heaters and inside tables and staff very nice too and very reasonable 👍

Firstly let me say that the Servers tried to do their best during an evening littered with mistakes but sadly the meal was just an effort to get what we ordered. One of the Starters ordered was chicken livers but they never turned up. Just a shrug by the Manager when we mentioned it. Falafel described as a hot were tepid at best as if they were ready to be served and just waiting to be ordered. Interestingly from the point of ordering to starters arriving only two minutes elapsed. They were however very tasty. Part of the Fish Tavuk was dry and the tuna inedible. A server was told and free coffees were offered at the end of our meal. The other main courses were not served hot but were ok otherwise. Coffees were ordered and again were cold and returned. When the bill arrived even the coffees were included!!! There are many better alternatives.

This review is long overdue, we've been going here for 3 years and the food is simply divine! Freshly grilled mouth-watering meats, fresh salad, generous portions and excellent customer service. It's not our nearest Turkish restaurant, we can't settle for anywhere else now

With the Lockdown lifted, we had been impatiently waiting to Dine again @ Meze Mangal. As ever, we had a very Warm welcome, Courteous staff, & Top Class service. The Food was well cooked, authentically flavoured, & generous portions. Johnney

The food here is delicious and juicy, some of the best chicken I have had. The staff are friendly, though leave to enjoy the food and drink without interruption. Will certainly visit this place again, seeing as the portions are so we'll sized.

Lovely quality kebabs grilled on charcoal, big menu choice, plenty of tables and lively atmosphere. Staff are polite and welcoming definitely one of the best kebab places in Watford.

The meat was perfect and fish very gentle. However my wife who had fish suffered severe upset stomach within two hours.

We had an amazing time here tonight for my sister in laws 40th birthday party. The food was amazing and the service was excellent from all the staff. It is excellent for vegetarians and vegans. The food was fresh and the mix grill to the kebabs are a must. Their chips were nice to along with halloumi on the grill. Wine is reasonably priced as well. Thank you for everything you did for us we will recommend this place and we will return again.

I’ve eaten from here countless times. But haven’t been for a while. We got a takeaway the other night and the chicken shish was so dry it couldn’t be eaten. The same goes for the chips, they were vile. Hoping this is a one off, but I think it will be a while before I use them again.

Great service. Pleasant staff . Excellent Turkish restaurant food at great prices. The Turkish tea is memorable. Desert choice isn't as good as previously. Had many visits to this restaurant which were greatly missed during the lockdown. Parking at the rear is guaranteed.

Amazing food and service! We went to Meze Mangal yesterday evening after a very rude phone call with Alexander Express who hung up after I asked questions about what the gluten free options were due to having celiac disease. Meze Mangal was very busy due to Eat Out to Help Out scheme, we didn't think we would get a table. The waiter was so lovely and moved some things around and managed to find us a table straight away. They were all so knowledgable about the menu and what contained gluten, separating everything. The food was delicious and large portions with so much flavour. We are new to the area will definitely be coming back for the service and amazing food! Thank you for a lovely evening ☺️

One of my favourite restaurants in Bushey serving some of the nicest Turkish meze I've tasted! The feta filo pastry starter from the hot meze for two was a real highlight. The restaurant was packed for a Saturday night so I recommend you book in advance. Service never faltered and the staff were very friendly.

Mezemangal best Turkish restaurant in town. We were greeted by very friendly staff. The food is freshly made and tastes amazing. Highly recommend it. I will be back again. Lot's of parking a short walk away. A wide range of food for all.

I ordered a take away from them and the food was so disappointing. The 4 prawns were swimming in oil. The calamari as stogey and soggy. The courgette Freitas were ok, also soggy and almost burnt. Not good. Very disappointed.

My husband went there this evening to collect food, 6 people all stood together waiting for food as area wasn't big enough to place everyone, they should have asked some people to wait out side. I was asked for my name and to be told it wasn't ready, then 10 min later another memeber of staff asked for the order number which I then found out my order was ready after all, and had be sitting there waiting (no apologies). They need to decide whether they require a name AND/OR order number. Food was good, having said. Delivery...next time!!!!

Really delicious had a selection of there starters ,mains and deserts all beautifully cooked .Also we were given some on the house dishes which were also lovely and very nice of the restaurant.

Lovely Sunday Lunch in this Turkish Restaurant . Food is cooked in front of you on open grill. It’s really tasty. Great portions and also wonderful service. There is a good choice of dishes on the menu . The restaurant is very spacious and comfortable. Good value too.

We’ve eaten both on-site and takeaways from Mezemangal. Always quick service and generous portions for the set menus. Online ordering available and usually available in 15-20 mins. Occasionally private parties mean you’ll takeaway.

So lucky to have this place so close by. They have won all sorts of awards of fabulousness and rightly so. Their chicken shish is sublime, the lamb gorgeous and I like their adana kofte. Flatbreads are made there by them by the taste and the staff are all utterly lovely. One tip, they say "fifteen minutes" when you place an order, it's an over estimate! Arrive in ten to meet your food. Lovely to sit down of not taking away and the charcoal grill is behind glass so you can sit and watch your meat cook if you like. MeJulie loves their chicken casserole. Ordered the same at another place, thinking they were all the same..WRONG! The food here is really damn good. Hugely recommended.

Amazing food and excellent service

Visited before Christmas with work group. I found the found to be bland, very little flavor. Annoying as I expect some traditional herbs to be used. Staff are friendly enough, had a enjoyable night.

This is my regular place and been going there for few years. Friendly people and food is always served fresh and got awesome apetitizer. Worth trying grilled seabass and ofcourse the falafal. I can definitely say this place provides vegan,vegeterain food aswell as non veg.
