I've been ordering tandoori rotis everyday for the past few months and every time the rotis are burnt and hard to even chew.

Reason gave 4 star on service just purely because waiting of food was longer, but food was SUPER TASTY! which makes waiting a worth. We dine in and then order take away as well it was that tasty.

I recently dined in at Mezbaan and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was fantastic, making for a pleasant and relaxing meal. The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish served beautifully. The lamb chops were especially delightful. The staff were friendly, very helpful, and had excellent knowledge of the menu and cuisine, which made ordering much easier. It was a great lunch, and I would definitely recommend it!

Food was very nice but the service is very slow. The wait between courses is too long. The female waitress look like they are here to have a laugh with their colleagues and aren’t doing any work and are very slow when asked for help. The female waitress had our main and looked at us to make space for her, my husband kindly asked her to clear the table first as we are finished with the starter, isn’t this normal practice everywhere? Staff definitely need training on working faster and efficiently.

Extraordinary. The staff is always ready to help and friendly especially the lady Priya. Premises are super clean, the atmosphere is lovely and comfortable, and the food is both delicious and beautifully presented.

Food was full of flavour and spot on. Place looks great and definitely a great atmosphere. Has improved from my last visit a year ago. Would highly recommend it.

Great food . Big portion. Amazing service.

Service was woeful. No attention to customers had to get up multiple times to chase for little things like a tissue. Charsi chicken dish was swimming in oil. The mocktails were nice but didn’t even get our drinks until after our starters were served. Can tell they’re new really hope they improve with their food and service.

Great food, very tasty and authentic. The mixed grill was cooked to perfection, the fish was very tasty and I would definitely come back here again. The service was decent, the seating area is comfortable and modern decor, really enjoyed the food and when I visit Milton Keynes again I will definitely come back here again. Only issue I had they ran out of deserts and there was no ice cream or kulfi etc and it was a nice warm day too they missed out on extra money they could have made.

**Disappointing Experience at MEZBAAN Restaurant** I recently visited MEZBAAN Restaurant, and it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. First and foremost, I found a long hair in my food, which is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the service was extremely poor – the staff were inattentive and unprofessional. Additionally, the dishes served didn’t match the descriptions on the menu (especially KOBEIDA KEBAB which was made of Chapel kebab and was around 5 inch long), leading to further frustration. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone especially if you are like me travelling for food from far.

Been travelling to lot of places in Sussex. First time came to Milton Keynes and this was on mind from long time. Worth the travel. The food here is awesome. Thanks to Hira for a great suggestion on the menu. She does know how to capture customers taste in food.. Food quantity is great as well.

This place is absolutely a gem. People are friendly and smiley and give off a warm vibe. The food is absolutely incredible, great quality, warm, and above expectations— portions are beyond fair for the price too and spice level is as desired. When I went to pray, music was closed until I finished without me asking which was a very sweet, considerate gesture. Will definitely visit again and spread the word ☺️

I have tried this restaurant before and I loved it the first time but this time I went with my family and ordered starters, two butter chicken and one half lamb Charsi Karahi. We got starters after a long wait of 40 mins and then when asked for the main course it took another 40 mins which was a disappointment. In the main course, the staff only gave us two butter chickens and forgot to give us lamb Karahi. When we finished chicken karahis. I called the waiters and told them I ordered lamb Karahi which I wouldn't want as it's too late. They apologised and said oh sorry as the restaurant was very busy we forgot to give u lamb Karahi. However, the restaurant was not busy at all. Only one more table was occupied. That was one of the worst experiences you can have in a restaurant.

Everything was great and it gave a nice atmosphere for laughter. There is only 1 thing that I felt was off and that was the lack of space on the table because it was fully filled up.

Just amazing food, should try the Charsi chicken

Food was mediocre, but the service was questionable. While we were waiting to be served, the female waitresses were fussing (almost harassing) another customer. While he was getting special treatment, we were ignored and received cold shoulders from the same waitresses who were checking on the other customer. Anyway don't order the paya, it's slop. The bread was dry and the rice tasted unwashed. Spend your money wisely and avoid this place unless you're of English decent of the male kind.

We recently visited this restaurant and ordered the Charsi Karahi, Kabli Pulao, and Fish Pakora. Unfortunately, none of the dishes seemed to be prepared by a professional chef. The Charsi Karahi tasted more like a red sauce with black pepper, and the chicken was undercooked. The Kabli Pulao was somewhat edible, but I still wouldn’t recommend it as it’s not worth the money. The Fish Pakora was also disappointing, earning a 2/10 in my book. While the ambiance and service were good, the food was below average. If you’re looking to enjoy desi cuisine, there are many better options available. We traveled from Luton in search of good food, but this restaurant did not live up to its appearance. In fact, you can find much better versions of these dishes in Luton itself. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you want a satisfying meal.

After spending the day at Gullivers with 3 kids, we were really hungry and I Googled the nearest Halal restaurant. I'm so glad that this beautiful restaurant came up - was only a few minutes away from the theme park and definitely exceeded our expectations. The price was really reasonable. My fussy children finished their meals satisfied and my husband and I were able to adjust our meals to our preferred spice levels. We ordered medium and it was perfect to satisfy our palate. Beautiful decor, and a friendly atmosphere. Not once did I feel like my young children were unwelcome. Will come back just for the food!

Ordered a mix grill and the kebabs tasted as they had just been defrosted. Chicken karahi was tastless and full of bones. Mango lassi was very sour. Upon approaching staff they were clueless and not helpful at all. The food doesnt meat basic standards. You are better of going to your local kebab shop. Honestly really upset with this place. Just seems like a hype won’t last long

The place looks beautiful but looks are definitely deceiving. The food is disgusting. You get about 4 pieces of chicken (nibbet style not chicken breast) Loads of lumpy gravy which you think is a treasure hunt to hunt for the chicken but you fins it's just lumpy gravy to look like chicken. I left mine. I think Environmental Health should visit and close it down because the food quality isn't even a grade for rats! They also serve you stale salad and watery mint sauce in a chipped bowl (chips carry germs) I feel sorry for my toliet when I have to make a sharp exit to visit it! 🤑🎯💯👌🏾

Very tasty food. They can improve on the service by the staff and the size of the tables. The food that we ordered didn’t fit on the table & the staff did not recognise it or suggested any way for it. It tastes nice but a bit too spicy and oily. Not for my tummy and hence don’t plan to visit again.

I was quite dis-appointed on my visit on 31/07/24 lunch time. The food was good and waiters attentive but when I ordered bottle water it was luke warm. It was 30 degrees that day and it would have made sence to keep the bottles in the fridge prior to serving.

Very good first experience at Mezbaan. Food was very nice, Ambience was great and staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was on point. Kabuli pilaw was lovely, we really enjoyed that. We will come again i'm sure ☺️

It taste good and food was excellent

Food: Had Lamb Ghosh dish, which was bland and the lamb was 80% bones- rip off. Rice was overpriced (£6!). The half chicken tasted off, both myself and another felt the same way, chips overly greasy. Plastic film from packaging left in the food. Poor. Service: friendly staff, forgot to give menus and serviettes. Basics need work. Atmosphere: Busy, don’t know how given the food. Go to Pepe’s next door the food is better and cheaper.

The biryani was tasty and you can choose your spice level. The mango lassi was refreshing too. The place is nicely decorated and has a great atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!

It was our first time visit to this restaurnat. The ambiance is so nice , the staff is very good specially the lady named chittra she attended us very well , she was very polite . We order food for 2 people, the price was reasonable and max 3 person can eat from this portion. Highly recommend.

I had a very unusual experience at this restaurant today, despite it being a place my father-in-law has frequented before. I was dining with my in-laws and husband, meeting my father-in-law’s close friend for the first time. After our meal, my father-in-law went to pay the bill, which is customary in South Asian culture where there’s often a debate over who covers the check. It turned out that my father-in-law’s friend had previously instructed the staff not to let anyone else pay, and this was meant to be a lighthearted joke. However, when the waitress was asked why she allowed the bill to be paid despite these instructions, she became visibly upset and went inside to cry. There was no raised voice or confrontation involved, and the situation seemed to be handled without any rudeness and as I had met this friend for the first time I certainly have no bias towards him. When the waitress returned, we noticed her distress and tried to make amends by thanking her for her service and offering a tip, which she refused. She then began arguing, claiming that she felt embarrassed. Moving forward, we continued with our tea and just as we were leaving she stopped my father in law and his friend and began arguing again and claiming that our friend’s actions were motivated by class differences and that she is a poor Indian student and that we are rich???? ALL HE LITERALLY DID WAS ASK HER WHY THE SPECIAL INSTRUCTION WASN’T FOLLOWED! HE DID NOT EVEN RAISE HIS VOICE. Are we not even allowed to questions waiters now? She clearly requires more training on dealing with customer. I mean, working in a restaurant is tough, you will meet customers who are rude and raise their voices when they’re in the wrong. I must say it felt like we were the ones who were working there and that she was the customer ! She literally started arguing talking about money which was just so odd! This confrontation continued even as we were leaving, and it seemed that no manager intervened to mediate the situation. Given that no one stepped in to address the issue properly, it seemed that the staff member might be struggling with handling criticism or customer inquiries effectively. A manager’s intervention could have resolved the situation smoothly and maintained professional standards. It’s crucial for restaurant staff to manage such situations with composure, especially if they face questioning from customers. Ultimately my father in law’s friend just apologised and said look I didn’t meant to upset you but I’m sorry if I did because clearly she was not letting it go. Overall, she failed to follow instructions, cried when questioned and argued twice and stopped us from leaving after dinner! this experience was highly disappointing and highlighted a need for better training in customer service to handle such interactions more professionally. It’s such a shame as the food was good the atmosphere was also good but her service and lack of management training put the restaurant down!

Our order was for almost £60! The quantity we received for each item was so disappointing. Each dish was so expensive! Not worth the high price!

While passing through Milton Keynes, I found Mezbaan Restaurant and decided to stop for some halal food. The experience was fantastic! The food was delicious, the staff were friendly, and everything was perfect. Highly recommended if you're in the area!

After my colleague and I finished our meeting in Milton Keynes, we found most of the city was closing down. We stumbled upon Mezbaan and arrived just 10 minutes before closing. Despite being about to close for the day, the manager and a staff member welcomed us warmly, as if the restaurant had just opened. Although quite a few items on the menu were out of stock due to the late hour, they still managed to provide us with what we wanted and even recommended some excellent dishes. The staff were friendly, and the food was top-notch. Even late at night, they catered to us with freshly prepared food. I highly recommend Mezbaan for its great service and delicious food.

First time here, lovely place, delicious food and service with a smile, what's not to like! Definitely will be back soon!

We went mainly for vegetarian dishes and they were very good. Really enjoyed the food: lahori chana, vegetable biryani and paneer with spinach. All delicious. We will return soon.

The food was really nice, the Lamb Pilau was fantastic as was the butter chicken. Both full of flavour. No alcohol served in the restraunt , fully halal menu. The reason however, why I've marked down to 4 stars is because of the loud music inside the restraunt and also the mocktail we ordered, unfortunately the mojito only tasted like lemonade, it didn't have any distinctive flavour and cost £6, I'm sure however you guys will work on this. In Shaa Allah.
