Thought the food was second rate at best, the white wine was warm, the service was hit and miss, not too sure what the Maître d was doing. Disappointed overall.

I just ate at Mems Kitchen, the little one near Tueday market area of Kings Lynn. It was with my wife to celebrate an anniversary. The whole experience was excellent. Tad warm in the ground floor restaurant, but it didn't ruin anything, The staff were polite, welcoming, and friendly. The food (I had the mixed grill, which oddly is not on the google review meal part of the review, the wife had lamb chops, which is on the review the meal part),was wonderfully tender and flavourful, and that included the side salad that came with my mixed grill. Then the indulgent bit. The Cannoli were delicious, so moriesh that we got some to take home. So Thank you for a lovely anniversary meal.

I stopped by for Lunch a few days ago. Great little gem and very nice staff. I order the Grilled Chicken burger. The chicken was nicely grilled great grill lines and not dry at with an excellent salad on the side. I’m not local but I’d go there again if I’m in the area. Would be a good place for breakfast, lunch or dinner with the menu choices.

Good food, generous portions and reasonable prices. Marred by too loud music, unable to have reasonable conversation. Rear dining room at market place needs mesh curtain on rear door to keep out flies from waste bins in yard. Health and safety.!

We were staying close by to Kings Lynn & visited on a Monday. While walking round we spotted this little gem for Lunch in High Street. It looked quite busy but they found a table, later I realised there is an upstairs area. The staff were very efficient & pleasant answering all my questions. Our food was very tasty & a different variety to the usual menus. Think there was something for everyone. Can’t praise them enough. Wish we live closer. 2 Courses £14:95

Some of the best food we’ve had, really excellent along with the service. For well cooked, tasty and healthy Mediterranean food, I’m not sure you can do much better. Fully recommended - great quality at a great price.

Arrived at 5pm when the restaurant is supposed to open, but it was closed and didnt open the doors unti 5.10pm. Waitress very friendly, took our order (food and drinks), however the Gin and Tonic that they served tasted nothing like Gin (I am a Gin drinker and certainly know what Gin tastes like)... also think it was not tonic but soda ... sent it back straight away ... it was replaced with what they said was a freshly opened bottle of tonic.... again this tasted nothing like Gin... in fact it tasted just like flat soda/ didnt even taste like tonic... so said I didnt want it and I would have a diet coke. The waitress took it away and said that I would need to still pay for it, which I said that I wouldnt as it is tasted strange, my friend also tried the drink and agreed it was not gin. The manager then came out, extremely rude waving a tonic bottle saying he had just opened this one fresh, however when i opened the bottle it was still fairly flat. I explained that the drink tasted nothing like Gin. Both my sisters have / had public houses and I was raised in a pub ... i certainly know what Gin should taste like. I asked the manage to try the gin and he rudely replied that he didnt need to as he poured it... so arrogant and no customer service skills what so ever. I said I was not going to pay for something that was undrinkable.... we eventually told him to keep his Gin, the wine my friend had and left the restaurant, where neither or us or our friends will be visiting in the future. When then went to Pizza Express and had a lovely meal, great service and a fantastic Gin that actually tasted how is should. If this is how they run a business, with a manager who has such bad manners and so arrogant that he thinks he is always right, this business will eventually suffer. Unfortunatley cannot comment on the food on this occassion. The restuarant in the High Street is lovely and when they were located down the other end of the High Street, opposite Debenhams the food was always amazing.

Super lunch today. Good Menu Good service Good food Reasonably priced. Lunch menu at £9.95. Thoroughly enjoyed my lamb kofta and my partner his chicken tagliatelle dish. Had two baklava to take away for our dessert. We will be returning 👍

A very regular visit for me garlic mushrooms followed by tagliatelle and chicken can't beat it always the same fantastic quality very friendly staff what more could you want

The staff were amazingly accommodating. Shame there is no draft beer (a real let down) or at least the large bottles of Efes. The food (mixed grill) was extremely tastey, well seasoned and plentiful. The chilli sauce was homemade but very lackluster. Even with a request of extra spice (dried flackes) not that hot. I suggest hot chillies in the kitchen freezer to chop in if requested, the flavour was great but not hot. So, I'm from North London that has a heavy Turkish/Greek community and this food is second nature to me.

Visited today with family for the first time. Friendly staff, nicely decorated, tidy, clean and amazing food. Really delicious, very fresh. All of us had something different, everyone enjoyed their meals…even the side salads were lovely!

The food is really nice, service good and it nice to know each order is created and this fresh. Reasonable prices for a good meals. Busy even on an early week day.

It was early and not very busy but we felt rushed and customer service is not their forte; that’s for sure! For a while the front staff sounded like giggling girls at an overnight party with no concept that they were working in a restaurant. When they did get to work their focus was only getting the order and getting it on the table. ‘Get em in and get em out’ is their mantra! They take no time for a question. My husband asked for a finger bowl or just a little bowl for his sticky fingers from his mussel dish. He was ignored. I’m sure they didn’t know what we were requesting. Second try they brought a spoon. ???? On my third attempt for extra napkins or a little bowl we were actually told it is against health standards for fingers to be put in bowls. Honestly, it couldn’t be made up!! What???? We thought the main course was brilliant re the food. Falafel starter was very dry and overcooked. Mussels were nice and so was the chicken salad. It was obvious the kitchen can cook. The tables could use a REALLY good clean; I hate sticky tables. I’m rating a single star overall. As good as the mains were the staff and cleanliness dropped it to new levels. I don’t like to be brushed aside and treated with little respect. Very poorly trained staff but surely the owners must recognise this. We’re good customers to many restaurants. We are ‘regulars’ and give respect and tip well when we are out. We always hope the same is given in kind. We usually give a second chance if we’re not happy because we understand everyone can have an off night now and then but in this instance we won’t be back. Poor service was brought to new levels.

We arrived without booking at 8.15pm and were shown to a table. There were lots of empty tables and was swiftly told there were no starters just mains as the kitchen was closing shortly. A few seconds later the waitress then came and said her mistake you could order starters and mains courses but they would come out together . The service was rushed, the food was beautiful but we’d have rather have had our starters first and then our mains seeing as though you still pay the same premium money in this restaurant. This I must state was the Saturday market place restaurant and I definitely prefer everything about the high street restaurant in comparison. To top our experience off they were bringing the rubbish out from the kitchen through the restaurant out to the back door. It was unbelievable!! Why just not wait until all the customers have all gone before clearing up. Apart from anything that is a health and safety breach!! ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING. I will never dine in there again

Most shocking service I have experienced anywhere , this place obviously dosent value the words’ a customer is always right “! I will not go into detail but I will say if you have any requests that they haven’t heard of before be prepared to be told to get out!

Really lovely little restaurant (there are in two in town). I don’t often write a review but felt compelled too! Me and the family first visited just a couple of months ago for a birthday meal, we were looking for something different away from the usual places and liked the look of the menu. We had such a great experience and the children who are normally picky eaters loved the food as well. So we decided to come back for a mothers day meal again and it didn’t disappoint. We were well looked after by the staff, who were friendly and talkative. It was well paced and we wasn’t rushed at any point and the food was to die for! I went all out for a mixed grill and it’s one of the best meals I’ve had, my wife had chicken skewers and the children had marinated chicken and chips. On the way out the door I even grabbed some cannoli’s! It was all amazing. Overall I would say lovely atmosphere, beautiful food and a great dining experience suitable for all and good value.

Small but very pleasant restaurant. The service was good and the food was superb! Really tasty and interesting dishes. The only negative was that it got very noisy at times, but that was probably more to do with the table of inebriated teens behind us.( said the old git 😅 ) Overall really nice place to visit and would definitely recommend this place.

We’ve been coming to KL for many years and although we’ve seen the restaurant in the High Street, it’s never appealed. How very wrong we were! When we were last here in July we noticed the new one on Saturday Market Place and said we’d try it next visit. What an experience it was. Super menu with the longest list of starters we’ve ever seen. Extensive choice of mains as well. We chose filo parcels to share as a starter and the chicken skewers and pan fried chicken as mains followed by pistachio baklava to share .All were superb and very generous portions. Superb wine list. Very simple with just 3 choices of each colour, no country mentioned and at a reasonable price for differing sizes. Excellent service , very friendly staff. Everything at a very fair price. I can’t praise enough. Not surprised it’s 4.8. Who on earth dragged it down 0.2! Looking forward to coming again in July on our next Norfolk trip. Keep up the great work and thank you. 😋😋😋

Amazing food but absolutely terrible customer service. Rude waitress, pushy for us to pay and hovered over us with card machine whilst we were still having dessert and coffees. Told us we had to hurry up as next party were due in 30mins..we were waiting on them to bring our coffees and desserts so impossible for us to hurry up! Booked a table for 8 and had paid an £80 deposit, one of our party unable to attend but they only deducted £70 off bill saying the £10 covered the missing person. Ridiculous, was not like anyone else could have sat at our table. None of us will be returning which is sad as the food was really very good.

Men's is a firm favourite both with family and friends. It's usually the first place we all decide to go when treating ourselves to a meal out and it never disappoints. My 9 year old loves the food just as much as us adults and the atmosphere is always friendly and bustely feeling, as though in a holiday tavern. A gem of a place

We decided to go to our favourite restaurant Mem’s Kitchen for their really great food, served by happy friendly staff. Both of our Chicken Livers starters were delicious and the mains, one Seaford Casserole and one Lynn Mixed Grill were delicious too, closely followed by their yummy Chocolate cake with Ice-cream desert. All the food we were served looked amazing and tasted fantastic. We will be back for another meal very soon and we highly recommend.

What fabulous food, love this place to bits. Just a shame that the staff are constantly on their mobiles and floor cleaning equipment is left out in the restaurant!!

Dropped in here by chance. The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. My wife and I ordered vegetarian food, a veggie meze and a Haloumi burger. Both dished were very good. My burger was served with roasted peppers and aubergine and came with fries and a salad. The fries were fresh, hot and crisp. The salad was well presented with fresh crisp leaves, perfect tomatoes and gherkins with a dressing. This was probably the best haloumi burger I have ever had! My wife's meze was also excellent, good cross section fresh and tasty. We had a desert as well. Creme Brulee was superb, fresh fruits and a crisp top. Chocolate brownie was very rich and chocolaty. I am disabled and in a wheelchair. It was tricky to get in but they helped. There is a rail which I could use to get in. The staff moved chairs and made us welcome. A really lovely dining experience. The only negative old be that the atmosphere, decor could be better but I'm struggling to find a negative. Would reccomend and go again.

We had an amazing meal at Mems Kitchen today. The food was first class, we enjoyed every mouthful! We both had calamari to start which was wow and then my husband had seafood pasta and I had chicken skewers again the flavours were excellent. We were very full but couldn’t resist pudding. Crumble and cheesecake again lovely. The staff were very friendly and attentive and we will definitely return when we are in the area.

A nice welcoming place in Kings Lynn center . We only had coffee and a cake but the other food served appeared very nice and the staff were efficient and sociable. Everywhere was clean and smart and the situation in the High Street good for a break anytime of day

Uncomplicated yet assured cooking in unpretentious setting.Kitchen knocks out flavoursome dishes. Choose from set menus at lunchtime for excellent value. Young and attentive staff. Guess that you will need to book. Well worth the visit.

What a find on a visit to Lynn. The FOH were very friendly and polite and the food was sensibly priced especially the lunch menu. Plenty of likeable choices which means you can go back and have something different each time. My wife had the chicken pasta which I tried and I'm sure it was fresh pasta so well cooked. I tried the burger and my goodness it has set a bar for future burgers I buy and eat. It was moist flavoursome and it melted in your mouth. The fries were crispy and the relish was a brilliant side. All in all it will be our go too place when we visit and as you can't see it too well search it out you won't be disappointed

Blown away by the quality of the food. Simple flavours done very well. Had tzatziki to start and Kofte for lunch. Rarely have I been pleasantly surprised as well. Staff very helpful created a table of six for our party out of nowhere. Try it...

The reviews have been excellent, and it’s clear to see why. The husband “never writes a review” and has insisted on that we write this one as the best in the area, by far. We hadn’t booked, arrived towards the end of service but were greeted very warmly and nothing was too much trouble. The seafood casserole (him) and pan fried chicken livers (me) were absolutely incredible!

Best restaurant in town with food for everyone. Very friendly staff. The food was very good. My husband had a burger and he said it was the best he ever had. The only thing for which I have four starts at food is because the veggies were a bit too oily. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We went to Mem's new location in Saturday Market yesterday and had a wonderful time. The food was great, the staff were wonderful and the location perfect. Although busy, everything was delivered to our table promptly. We look forward to going again soon.

My roast veg was excellent. My partner had the mixed meze which were a bit heavy on fried cheese. But a lovely place and would definitely go again.
