Tasty food but a bit expensive?

Food was absolutely delicious. The mock duck pancakes and mock chicken sweet and sour were particularly fantastic. I ordered via the website and delivery was on time and the delivery driver was friendly.

As always fabulous food - extra tip this visit they forgot our sweet and sour sauce - but after a quick call when we got home - sweet and sour sauce and complimentary coke was delivered! Well done

The best Chinese food I've ever had...

The food was greasy and lacked flavor, especially the salt and spicy chips it was too greasy and soggy to eat. We got out order before we expected but the food didn’t make up for the time taken. Very disappointed

Delicious! Thought my sweet chilli “mock chicken” and tofu black bean, boiled rice, veg spring rolls and pineapple fritters in syrup were the best I’ve ever tried. The lady there was very friendly and efficient too and also they are generous on fortune cookies :)

WOW!! Just wow. I have never blown away by a take away before, some of the best Chinese food I've ever had and I used to love in Singapore. I genuinely left half a meal at a restaurant today because it was bad and I could only think of the returning home to eat the left overs I had from the amazing Chinese the night before. The staff were nice, the food was incredible I would travel far out of my way just to get this particular take away. They gave us free prawn crackers and free fortune cookies. BUT I cannot stress this enough #freetiger (the fish) you can't have a full sized koi fish in a little tank. He's stressed, I'm stressed waiting for my meal watching him was uncomfortable and the only negative aspect of the whole establishment.

Best Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had. The food was absolutely amazing!! I was blown away!! There is a massive fish in a tank at the shop though and it should be let go because the tank is too small.

It was the first time coming to this Chinese and whilst the customer service and food was good we couldn't help feel disgusted and sad for the large fish in the tank... nothing in there for it.. no other fish and the tank too damn small!!! It needs to be put in a pond or in a much bigger tank with another fish. The fish was clearly stressed swimming fast hitting its face on the tank every time.. cruel. We will not be returning due to this.

Absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Best Chinese take away I’ve ever had. We ordered the dim sum dumplings, crispy beef in teriyaki, wandering dragon, house special chow mein, the duck and cashew nuts and egg fried rice. Every single fish was so fresh, tasty, steaming hot and packed full of flavour. Very generous portions with lots of meat. Will definitely order from here again as was blown away. Thank you, you have made our weekend 😁

The food is the best in town, highly encourage anyone to order from here! It may get busy on Fridays and Saturdays so you can expect your food to be a little late - however it is well worth the wait.

i ordered the chinese roast pork. it does not say that it comes with beansprouts....a lot of bean sprouts, which i cant eat due to a medical diet, so these had to be thrown away leaving a few pieces of meat. the meat was tough, fatty and tasteless, a ruined meal and a waste of £5.20. the chinese vans in town do better roast pork than this place. i also noticed that the containers dim sum use are shallower than what others use, so you get less.

Food prompt, pickup easy, food fresh, tasty, spicy. Gorgeous.

Very disappointed. Told order would be within the hour. 1hr 15mins later called to be told "we busy what the problem " when we asked what time it would be delivered kept getting the same rude response! When asked how long the delivery would be they wouldnt say. We did tell them if you said please collect as we are busy we would have done so. Food items missing to accompany the duck. I'm afraid i will not be using them again which is a shame as the food was nice.

More like 2.5 Pre-ordered food over an hour before it was requested, for arrived 30 mins late, not much flavour on any of the food, portion size was good. Would come back if others are closed.

Says you're open when you are not, bit annoying .

Not very impressed at all with my meal this evening. The pancake rolls we’re clearly reheated (and burned), the so called Cantonese mix was more like a soup than a meal, won’t be trying again.

Absolute joke we ordered food to arrive at 6:15. It is now 7:00 and still not shown up all we get from the shop is its out for delivery. It'll be stone cold and won't be wasting my time with them again

Usually order from here for the veggie food but had an issue when my food arrived cold, late and missing an item; I was polite on the phone and explained the situation, I was even happy to pay for the item they had forgotten if they could resend my order fresh/hot; I was then handed to a male member of staff who was very rude and told me ‘what problem! What you want me to do?you shouldnt expect hot food because its a takeway, if you want it hot you have to collect.’. The staff obviously couldn’t believe they had made more than one mistake as they then were indirectly accusing me of trying to scam them, the fact i was unhappy with my missing item and my cold food must of got to them.

Great value for money Chinese takeaway food.

We stumbled on this by accident, as intended Chinese restaurant opposite was full with a party. They allowed us to eat on tables from the take-away containers. We had dim-sum, Peking duck, Singapore fried rice, chicken vermicelli and chicken chow mein. 4 hungry campers v happy. Great value

The best Chinese around... regularly drive over from Stamford to collect food from here and they never disappoint. We've been eating here for years and the staff are just Fantastic! Always prepared to cook vegetarian mock chicken in any style we ask, and the tofu is great too...!

This Chinese takeaway is without a doubt the best Chinese vegetarian food for 15 miles. Beats EVERYTHING in Stamford or Oakham! Always fresh, always hot, and always tastes fantastic! I'd love to see what else they could do with tofu and their mock chicken! Perfect with timing, delivery available, can eat-in too if necessary! Also reasonably priced! 100% recommended! 😊

Phoned an order through and had it confirmed back. It was delivered with food missing and we were then told to wait an hour and a half for it to be deliver - it was only rice!! We then had to go collect the missing rice and requested a refund in full for the entire meal as it'd be cold and it had caused us so much inconvenience - let's hope they give my partner the refund!
