Definitely the last time I’ll be ordering from here….. The order was not only wrong but extremely poor in size & was soggy….

Great food, big portions. Quality.

Chicken balls greasy and chicken didn’t taste like chicken. Chips stuck together and rice was burnt. Gravy lacked flavour and meals didn’t come with much sauce. Prawn crackers were stale. Spring rolls were full of grease lacked flavour and fell apart. The ribs were ok. Won’t be ordering again! Think we may have food poising!

If you travelled from Hong Kong to Belfast by foot, you would never encounter service anywhere near that of the Mekong Oriental. Looking from the counter into the kitchen, an older gent works the wok with the craft and detail of an ancient musical instrument. Sesame oil and spice harmoniously fill the air, stirring up memories, emotions and senses of the former night markets of Canton

Delivery was very fast, rice was very greasy, lacked flavouring and had very small amounts of low quality ingredients. I had to throw half it out as the rice to ingredient ratio was unsatisfactory.

Fried rice tasted a bit like plastic and the chicken balls weren’t great. Spring rolls didn’t come with any sauce. Ordered a box deal and had to pay extra £1.50 to get the gravy or curry on the side??? Wont be ordering box again

Awk I really don’t like writing bad reviews but not good at all, first time ordering here. Wouldn’t order again, food went in the bin unfortunately and we later ordered from somewhere else also took quite long to come so thought it would have been worth the wait but wasn’t :(

This was my go to takeaway fortnightly for years ... Not anymore it's got super expensive and food is no where near as nice as it was. My daughter just found a piece of black plastic in her noodles. So that's it we are done

Without a doubt the absolute worst 'chinese' I have ever had.....chicken balls were so greasy and stringy it is difficult to comprehend...not even sure it was chicken ffs...most disgusting thing ever had from a chinese....absolutely vile....spent over 15 years working in kitchens....wold never has sent that...whatever it was...out.!!@ worst takeout I have ever had!!

Favourite Chinese! The delivery driver is always so lovely too. We don’t order from anywhere else.

wont accept card giving customers directives to close the door when its not the fault of the customers that their door is faulty food was raw place was dirty.

Don't know what it was but it wasn't black bean.And spring rolls swimming in oil.Wouldnt recommend or use again.

Our favourite Chinese! Food fab as always and has always arrived early. Ended up with some beef in with our salted chilli chicken but no problems any other time 😊 definitely recommend!

Food was really really lovely! (Always is) chicken curry is amazing from this place. As is the salted chilli chicken. Really great food! My genuine apologies to the driver! I have no spare change on me atm, and feel like cr*p when I can’t tip a driver. Just eat need to implement a digital tipping system. So many people don’t use cash often now, let alone have spare change around.

It didn't arrive, I want a full fefund. I tried to call the Chinese with no avail. I set up past 1am waiting on it

I ordered a special curry well the curry sauce was absolutely disgusting The prawns were out of date or not cooked properly ended up thrown in the bin I will never order again

Food took over an hour to deliver, and was not satisfied by the quality at all. The black pepper sauce was mostly water and tasteless and the salted chilli chicken barely had any spice or flavour.

Food was really beautiful! Gf loved her breast of chicken & fried rice. Thanks for putting her in a good mood for the night. REALLY “helped me out”😏🤣

The quality of this place has gone down significantly. Six months ago a 2 item order was around £15 including delivery. The same order is now £22. I WILL be going elsewhere from now on.

Don’t normally do reviews but have to say this has to be the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. All beef had no favour as it tastes like it was boiled and looked grey in the chow mien 🤢 there was just no favour to anything. Never seen peking sauce look so clear never mind being bright red, tasted nothing like peking lol Wouldn’t waste my money! Had to wait almost 2hrs which is a joke! STAY AWAY🤮

Spring rolls was all bean sprouts, very greasy and salt and chilli chicken was burnt. It took almost 2 hours to be delivered.

This is the worst Chinese food I have tasted in my entire life . Pls do not waste your money. The food is totally rubbish. I don’t normally do reviews but I have to on this one So people can safe their money and time. They don’t even deserve a 1/2 a star.

Chow Mein and Spring Rolls absolutely disgusting.

Delivery time kept changing. Ordered at 7pm, now 9pm and still not received my order. If the restaurant was that busy, don't take orders

Food was so disgusting I couldn't eat it. The curry was so thick it was more like a jelly than a sauce and somehow tasted chalky with no other real flavour other than that. The ribs had hardly any meat on them and what little meat there was unbearably dry as they were clearly severely overcooked. I also got the chicken and Chinese mushroom soup and the broth was bland and the mushrooms were like rubber. Waited over an hour for food to arrive that I ended up in the bin anyway. Don't waste your money here. If you want Chinese food I'd recommend literally any restaurant except this one.

I won't be ordering from here again, it took over 2h:20mins to get my food with the excuse that the restaurant was too busy, If you are guys are too busy just don't accept more orders, simple, I prefer this than waiting so long.

Food was beautiful! Portions were fine! JustEat mixed up my address from some reason. Noticed it and rang up. Gentleman had it changed, in seconds. No issue, no drama. Delivery was put down for almost 2 hours. Not sure how busy this place is. But for 0.5 miles away. I thought that was a bit crazy. Was here in under an hour. Well worth the wait!

Some people here are giving one stars and they got a curry chip, not a real Chinese. Go get a szechaun chicken/prawn out of here, it's serious gear and good portion sizes

My first time ordering from here - it was gorgeous! The best food I’ve ordered on JustEat. Only issue was the crazy delivery driver. I live in a flat and 10 seconds after ringing the doorbell, my husband was downstairs to collect it. At which point the driver nastily ranted about how he waited forever. I had left a note for the restaurant to let them know there’s a doorbell (because these days you have to point out the obvious), but no takeaway reads these and instead this driver banged on the door, waking up the neighbour’s new baby. Get rid of that awful, nasty driver. What an eejit. The food was GORGEOUS! I’ll order every time I want a Chinese from here! But please have drivers who know what a flat, a doorbell, and decent respect is.

Really disappointed with the mixed grill, after reading previous reviews on it was really looking forward to it. Liver burnt to a crisp shrivelled bacon sausage was on and very little meat on the chop.

Delivery had a few complications however food was lovely, portions were large and was piping hot overall was a very positive experience would order again

Food was excellent. We preordered at 2.30pm for 7pm that evening which was approved on opening. However the food was still 30mins late, although we were kept up to date with the estimated time of arrival and the driver was very apologetic. Will definitely order again.
