BAD SERVICE & NO RESPONSIBILITY - This morning I ordered Special Masala Dosa, but I received normal Masala Dosa with small quantity. This is huge carelessness and poor service. It made me to lose my money and disappointed me.

I would never recommend this place we ordered veg Manchurian the Manchurian was balls was not cook properly gooey from inside and we also have veg kofta the gravy was so sour. And it look so lame Last time we had the same curry but the colour taste everything changed that’s why we ordered Same thing but now I would never recommend this restaurant.

Found loads of hairs in the Bhel :( Second time it's happened, won't be eating from here again.

My family used their catering service for an event. Food was average, nothing special, but not bad either. The problem came when I went to collect the order. Firstly they asked me to come at 11am, when I arrived they told me the order will be ready to collect at 12pm. After waiting 15 min they then said the food is ready however I needed to collect it from 2 locations. I took what food they provided to me in location 1, then drove to location 2. At location 2, they provided the remaining items then checked my total order to confirm if they had provided everything. After checking, they realised I was missing some items, and surprise surprise, they forgot to give them to me in location 1. I then had to drive back to location 1 to collect the missing items. Overall the service is terrible. They need to provide all items from 1 location, if this is not possible, they need to explain, specifically, what items to collect from each location so that the customer can check before they leave. I will not use their restaurant or catering service again.

If you want food thats pre made days ago then filled in buckets and then warmed up then this is place for you. Ive had bad experience couple of times and tried again today and I can honestly say I will never go back!!!! Ordered a thali which had ice cold currys and soggy puris. You just know that nothing was fresh!! Made at the warehouse, god knows when and then kept in buckets at the shop for god knows how long. Just think about the size of their menu compared to the size of shop!! No way anything is fresh!!! Spend your money elsewhere before you end up with a serious stomach bug!!!!

I have been there a lot it's one of best place to have some Indian snacks, of course the food is awesome, but there service is very good too . I got the service for hetvi she is been so nice.

Yesterday first time I placed order for 15 people for small family get-together I m very impressed with quality of food & test was very delicious , it was freshly made,love this food be happy all invited family friend was also very happy will order again soon, Thankyou to Meera express staff n cook 😊

Malai kofta and paneer butter masala. Why not call it ginger gravy? Such a disappointment. Both the gravies are tasting as if they got ginger at cheap rates and now they are just using it. Worst experience ever.

I ordered food for a religious function and was assured the food was cooked fresh and as part of a larger batch that same day. When serving, some off the food didn't smell right but we were reassured it was fresh. Several people including myself had an upset stomach the following day. After complaining, the owner just refused to accept any blame. I suspect the food wasn’t fresh or had not been refrigerated once cooked. I had high expectations of Meera’s as the shop I visited was busy. I would not recommend their catering .

I would never recommend this place. The food is stale, the yellow dhokla were dry and hard and patra had gone off. The staff are rude and defensive.

I tried this place after a long time but found the food was just OK not wow. I had ordered a Radga Petis but was totally disappointed 😞 as it was just watery and not the thick gravy we are used to like we get at other places. I also complained to the staff afterwards and explained how the food was but they were not willing to exchange it unless I bring the same food back the next day....I find that very strange as no restaurant asks for the return of the not so good food for an exchange!!! Most restaurants take your word for it and are happy to give you another portion no questions asked!! I was not going to waste an hour to go and return this food for an exchange 🙃 😒.

Ordered chilli panner but was full of unnecessary masala and heat was crazy. I eat very hot food generally but this was a different level almost un enable. Would be doing any take out from there in a hurry.

I ordered food for the first time I was expecting good food as it was shown in the pics but was very disappointed. Nicely packaged but the food was not Upto the mark. 😳

Went today and was totally disappointed with the food. Over priced for extremely small portions. Food was served with multiple long hairs in the food. The hygiene is clearly not of this country's standard. Food didn't seem to taste fresh either. The shop itself is over crowded with fridges and food items. There is bhajiya and bateta vara out in the open on the counter just where every customer pays and speaks over the counter to the employees. I would not recommend or visit this again.

Your veg Manchurian convert my good Sunday in bad Sunday........ It's a big mistake to trust on your shop to make my Sunday fun day. Every Sunday i have choose your shop for good food but now it's not worth.

I recently ordered food from Meera’s and was shocked at the quality of the food and the service that this restaurant gave me. I ordered the Manchurian (saucy) and when I started to eat one of the Manchurian balls it was completely raw inside.. I then called them to tell them that it was raw inside and I would like a refund. The lady was quite frankly ill-mannered and told me that the Manchurian balls were cooked and the chef was a good chef. Would I be complaining if they were cooked?? She continuously screamed across the phone that they were cooked, when I asked for the manager she didn’t give the phone to him. I asked her for a refund of the food and she told me she couldn’t give me a refund. If it was the restaurants fault am I not entitled to a refund, it was not my preference of how I like my Manchurian, they were not cooked! She then told me to bring the food back to her when they were closing in 10 minutes and when I asked if she would proceed the refund she said I can’t do that. What is the point of me going to them to show them if I was being given no refund. Absolute nightmare of a restaurant, I will not be returning!

There was not enough tamarind sauce with bhel, making it very dry. Portions were too expensive considering tamarind sauce is not enough per portion. No onions in it, when we specifically requested it and mostly crumbs in the bhel. A waste of money.

AWFUL FOOD AND DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE. There were two pieces of hair in my garlic bhajia which ruined my dinner completely! The food did not taste fresh and multiple curries were not warm enough. I'm very concerned about the lack of hygiene at this establishment as I have just read other customers complaining about hair in their food too! I will NOT be ordering from here ever again 🤮

This restaurant is worse take charge always more and never return bank happen twice with me even Uber don’t bother either very disgusting and if you call manager never there only urvi there very useless lady hope government close this place

It was pathetic. I ordered manchurian noodles and also added instructions to make it spicy and they made it sweet too much. Not eatable. Also not noodles quality is good. I think they should take away this from my home or should give me refund for ruining my dinner. I think we should complain counsel and food department for such lethargic approach.

We ordered Manchurian noodles. However, noodles were thinner than vermicelli with exact 3 pieces of manchurian. The taste was horrific.Portion size too small. Extremely disappointing.

Posting for a friend who ordered 2 x two for one specials. Not only did neither box of canapes arrive, she was charged full price. The discount was not applied! Neither Uber or Meera's answer their phones. One diabetic with no dinner and we are hungry too. Disgusting service.

Horrible experience the food order via Uber noodles, chilli paneer, manchurian, Malai kofta and few more thing and please zoom in the pic and you can see THE LONG BLACK HAIR WICH IS STUFF INSIDE THE KOFTA WHAT A SURPRISE WHAT A HEALTH AND SAFTY WHICH BBEN PRACTICE BUY THIS RESTAURANT. Which we trust them to follow when preparing the food. Try to stay AWAY IF POSSIBLE EVERY ONE. Good luck

Service was slow. Staff busy talking in their own language rather than acknowledging customers in the shop. Food was extremely bland and tasteless. Even my child refused it to eat it. They didn’t have items I ordered and paid for. The woman had to come and tell me they don’t have the items and gave my money back. Rather strange communication between kitchen and till staff. Chilli paneer (usually a massive fav in my house) wasn’t touched as it had a really strong synthetic taste to it. Smelt funny too. Don’t think it was made that day in all honesty. Samosas were soggy and again had no depth of flavour. Parking is a hassle, the food just isn’t worth it. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be returning.

Poor management, waited 30 minutes for an order ordered online and was told food is still being made. They later found the food and it has been sitting there the whole time. Was told there is nothing that can do. Please do not order food from this place

Masala dose was not good at all not fresh but spring roll was good fresh and biryani was not good would not order again from here. Please do better

I ordered noodels with manchorian nd paneerchili without onion nd garlic but it was not good.its not like noodels its like thin wheat sev.i dont like nd about chilli paneer it was tasteless.

The food was so well presented for a delivery and the restaurant got our order perfect (as we had lots of requests). The food was extremely tasty, the Special Mumbai Sandwich was especially delicious! Will definitely keep ordering again

I can't speak for the other items on their menu but their thalis have always been phenomenal. I don't mean to be cheesy but I was transported back to my childhood eating their kathiyawadi thali. Authentic gujarati food at its best. Would really recommend the thali and farshan items - dhokla, patra and khandvi

Service was quick and food tastes very good but the price is way too high for the portion size. We ordered masala chips for £5.99 and felt the portion was the size of large McDonalds chips

We order food from here on the regular. Good food for not a bad price. Definitely worth it if you just want a quick cheap take away. Compared to some other locals where you could spend double. Cheap and cheerful.

Standards have dropped badly, ordered a falafel wrap, was a makeshift from left overs and had a long hair in it, kitchen staff should wear hair covers.

I have ordered 2 different curry’s but it’s look same and test same . Mix vegetables curry have 2 vegetables inside . It’s bettering test also . Roti not good . I have thrown away 90% food. I have never eaten panjabi like this before . Not test good at all.

We ordered some Dal Makhani, some chilli corn and chilli paneer! The corn was full of flour and was sticky so found tennis the taste of any corn! The dal makhani they managed to make so spicy no one could eat it! The only half average dish was the Chilli paneer which we were able to eat won’t be going back there anytime soon

Decent takeaway food. Good portions at good prices. However food is very hit and miss. Sometimes it’s great and at other times, it feels like the food was made in a rush and isn’t good, especially true about the Indo-Chinese dishes.

Very friendly front staff, but the back kitchen staff very very rude to the staff in front of customers. No wonder staff don't feel valued.

Good variety of food. Authentic taste and reasonably priced. Can get busy at peak times so be prepared to hang around. Would recommend placing order in advance over the phone or via uber eats. Free parking on street at all times.

Service is really poor; shop was really quiet, and still they kept us waiting almost 15mins. When we threatened to leave they just said go on then!!!

Placed an order for food and went to collect it. Got home and realised they got my order wrong. Called them to inform them and they didn't care. The man was rather rude and just apologised then hung up.

Let me summarise, selling items not available on the menu, food is an hour late, customer service is dreadful, a power cut on premises due to faulty fridge units, cold food, horrible taste...Do not waste your money. It was even more worse than I can write here.

Great India vegetarian food to take away

The food was not up to standards. The crispy bhajiyas were overly dry and salty. The dhokri was very dry and pre-packed and not fresh at all. We had to throw away the onion bhajiyas as again they were very dry and tasteless. This is the 3rd time we have ordered Meera Express and all three times we were not satisfied with the quality of the food. Never again. I would not be able to reccommend their food to anyone. They are over priced and it does not justify their quality or quantity of food!

Used to be good, but has sadly gone down! Portion size has reduced, prices haven't reduced. We don't get half the chutneys with food orders. Onions were excluded from bhel, when we asked for it, we were given a flimsy excuse that due to dietary reasons by default it is excluded and you have to ask for it. If there are dietary requirements, you ask for it to be excluded! Very poor service generally..

Terrible and infact shocking service and very rude lady on the till. We asked for lettuce to be added to the paneer roll and they just refused and then wanted £1 for a few shreds of lettuce.... Just unbelievable.

We ordered a few dishes , I had to throw away 80% of the food as it was beyond edible. One dish had double the salt and the other had 3 - times more oil and soaking in it. This place has gone downhill completely.

Absolutely terrible attitude and service. Very greedy for money. We ordered nearly £40 worth of food and when I asked the miserable woman behind the till to add some salad in the paneer roll and she refused. Really shocking, a little bit of ice burg lettuce and she refused...

Never met somebody so rude in my life. The woman serving was so rude and for that reason will never use this place again. It's a shame because the food is good!

They do not know what Peri Peri seasoning is. We asked them if the peri peri chips are dry they said yes. So when we got them they were full off Soy Sauce. Soy Sauce is Chinese and periperi is Portuguese they do not know the difference. When we called them they were like that is how our peri peri chips are. When we asked them why did you say yes they are dry they just argued and disconnected the phone. Extremely Rude and Poor. We'll never go to or recommend Meera's Express again. Stay away there are other better places to get decent food and service.

At Stratfield Road branch they had a sign "Eat Out Help Out 20% discount on ALL takeaways" Monday to Wednesday. I ordered lunch thali to takeaway which was £4.50 and expected 20% discount to be applied. But the staff said it does not apply on thali and I said the sign is clearly noted as 20% discount on all. She said ask the boss (who wasn't there) and was rude and unfriendly. AND food was tasteless. Watch Out!!!

witnessed another customer having to complain as her food was given to her that fell on the floor, it did fall on the floor and this same food item was repacked and they tried to give this to the lady. I was speechless- she told them exactly the same as what I saw as she saw this too and they acted like it was nothing! Basically they think it’s acceptable to give people food that has fallen on the floor- imagine what you don’t see! Environmental health have been called by me and the lady I assume also. Disgusting! Even worse thing is when the lady said she wanted a fresh item of food not one which had fallen on the floor, another man brought back the same item and I saw this was the same food item. He then pretended it was fresh- they are crooks! Esp at this time with Covid 19 I really don’t think they should operate in this way! They don’t wear masks and serve food and don’t change gloves but pick food! Should be ashamed of themselves- serving innocent people Food in such a unhealthy manner! 😡

Wanted an afternoon snack, it was salty,salty salty! The mogo and Chilli paneer were in the exact same sauce and were literaly drenched in soya sauce, was horrible, will notbe ordering from meeras again! I would have given 0 stars if it was an option.

I used to take away food from Meera express many times but have recently been extremely disappointed with the quality and hygence of food. They always make the food spicy even though asked for mild, ingredients don't seems fresh and food is being handled inappriatately. They also have no clue about customer service so won't be going back in a hurry!
