Medway Fisheries in Huntingdonshire

After the Northshore fishery in Scarborough this is most definitely the finest fish and chip shop I have ever been in. Tom and Jack are an amazing team. Always polite, hardworking with the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene. Everything is cooked to order, delivered fresh to the customer. If you are in the Huntingdoshire area please take the trouble to seek them out. It is a bit out of the way, but I promise you, you will not regret it. Many thanks Tom and Jack. You are an ace team!

Always busy loads of choice what they serve staff nice and food lovely we had the fish and chips very tasty and so is their kebab meat would recommend 100 percent

Ok fish and chips but way to expensive for the quality of the food... It cost more than a McDonald's meals for two... Their pizzas aren't even 100% Italian as the should be a pizza chef from Naples... They over charged me and took advantage of my learning disabilities... Do not recommend.

I was visiting Somersham for its Parish Council meeting on 4th Sept and, on my way hope to St Ives and having had great food from Medway in the past, I decided to stop by (and not on the double yellow lines either) for a Fish Supper + Curry Sauce. Being from Grimsby, I know my Cod and this was battered and cooked to perfection and of a good size too for a 'standard' portion. The Curry sauce was not too 'spicy' but complemented the chips perfectly. All for £10 too. Bargain. Of course I will return.

If your local, or even further a field this chip shop offers pretty much everything you would expect plus more. The service is brilliant, efficiently and friendly. The food they offer taste great, is always hot and at a very very reasonable price.

Lovely food chips were spot on ,bartered sausages great, curry sauce and chicken and mushroom pie fabulous just a shame we don’t live closer . Friendly staff great place would definitely recommend

I'd guess this is the best fisn'n'chip shop in this area (inc St Ives, Fenstanton, Bar Hill...). They can be busy so it's well worth ordering in advance by phone

VERY RUDE STAFF! 20 minutes a to cook a kebab & battered sausage the size of my little finger! But want full cost of a meal? Complete joke!

Just moved to Somersham. Can't cook as house being decorated. Ordered a home delivery. Arrived exactly on time. Piping hot fish cooked perfectly, so large I wasted most of chips. Day three tried my favourite rock salmon (huss or dog fish depending on where you're from), succulent in crisp batter. I am now a fan and will be a regular.

I live just down the road and have passed many times. Today I thought as I was taking my girls to the local park, I would pop in.. All I will say is that I will definitely be back very soon.. the atmosphere and the food were fantastic, the whole place was very clean and inviting and it was great to actually have a conversation, rather than just stand there waiting.. I would highly recommend the Medway Fisheries..
