Good food, delivered roughly when expected. Definitely order again

They ignor the list of salad that is wanted. The make the worst chips that I have ever seen they should give the recipe to Slimming magazine, if anything stopped people eating chips it's these.

Food got delivered cold! Ordered large chicken shish got less then half a box! Rip off and food was shocking! Don't waste your money here!

Orderd a kebab won’t order from here again the dinner meat was literally burnt just tasted of our burnt meat and the chilli sauce is awful 😢

I’m not sure even the target audience of this place, drunk people, would enjoy the food served here. Absolute lowest quality of everything. Not sure what it thinks it has to do with the Mediterranean either. 👎🏻

Now under new ownership. The portions are definitely smaller now that it all comes in boxes. Quality of food is about the same in fairness but they should make the chip portions the same size as before

Roast chicken over done and very dry, chips were horrible spring rolls burnt on the outside and only had cabbage inside. Jumbo sausage was ok.

Terrible service poor food, rude staff. Opened door to a demand to pay for drinks which should have been part of a meal deal but had been added to cart wrongly. Demanded full price for drinks despite honest mistake on our part. Food greasy and unappetising - used to be great but won’t go to them again. Avoid

Can’t fault the food from here however the delivery times are extremely slow. My order took over 2 hours to come.

Up until 3 or 4 weeks ago could not fault the doner kebabs from med fish bar but they have changed the lamb doner meat it is now tasteless and could be from any kebab shop in Leighton buzzard apart from kebab ye such a shame as it used to be fantastic but no more I'm afraid they have got complacent and gone for the cheap meat option

The food was cold and hard and overcooked. It was almost like it was leftovers from lunchtime reheated in a microwave unfortunately that was everything that we had fish Savoy battered sausages, cheesy chips, normal chips and the onion rings very disappointed for the cost of the meal.

I’ve ordered from med fish bar before and it’s been lovely every time , today was absolutely awful so late I was t even hungry and absolutely freezing cold!!! Re-heating was not an option as the batter goes soggy so £20 was a complete waste of money not very happy at all will not order through just eat again !!!!

Worst chips I have ever experienced in my life, overcooked and very hard and crispy, impossible to consume had to bin them. Will never visit this place again.

Seems like it may have changed hands again. Previously all came separately which was a nice change & portions were huge. This time it came all together but the meat was so flavoursome & juicy. One of the best kebabs I've had in a long time

Great portion sizes. Would be good if they had a smaller battered sausage. Ordered here as it was the only one open on a Sunday. Nice overall. Fish and chip shops need to be open on Sunday.

Disgusting food, I don’t know what they are selling as scampi it’s burnt balls with what looks like liquid cheese running out the sidea, soggy chips, cheap fish. It’s a shame that they are the only fish and chip shop that deliver in leighton Buzzard. This place has gone from bad to worse recently. The staff seem nice but the food really is terrible, this is not a one off either, this is the Third time it’s been terrible. Stay well away. Disgusting

I ordered our dinner from the Med this evening. My daughters food was greasy and she couldn't eat it and mine and my husbands meals were cold. I have ordered from them before and the food was nice but his has put me off. The food was cold and had to be reheated in our microwave, it them became too chewy. Our daughter ordered a battered sausage and when she bit into it it was cold, the batter was very greasy and had a strange taste - clearly none of out food was freshly prepared, yet we paid full price for what we expected to be 'fresh, hot' food

Been here a few times, large portions, quick service and cheap. Good quality food, always hot and fresh.

As I live nearby I only pick up in person. The fish is always fresh and portion size is good. Always well cooked. As are the chips. The kebabs are tasty and the home made chilli sauce is very good, personally I could have a bit more heat but that's just me.

Bearing in mind this is suppose to be an authentic Turkish takeaway, I’ve never seen a chicken shish so awfully cooked and served. There was no grill marks or that charcoal taste that comes with a genuine shish kebab. The chicken was pale/grey, extremely salty and came with no salad. The takeaway refused to come and collect the food after our complaints so I had to personally take it back. Awful food and service. Avoid at all cost!

Best Chippy in town and great value

First time there.....told them that too... ordered cod and chips (just to be safe).....had to wait...not a problem... it was blooming gorgeous ... everyone seemed friendly...didn't go for atmosphere, but the bloke serving seemed nice

I had to give this awful place one star in order to leave a review, if I'd had my way I wouldn't have given it any stars. I placed an order online for delivery, I ordered a donner and chicken shish kebab with salad and lemon juice. Neither of them came with lemon juice, and the pitta breads were absolutely saturated with grease! And our previous order took over an hour and a half to be delivered. Therefore, we will never order from this awful place again. I have also added a couple of photos, which show the pitta bread as shiny, this is the huge amount of grease it contained and it was also extremely soggy!!!! Don't waste your money!!!

What a bad experience so I usually order and really good but then I ordered tonight and I waited 3 hours for my food and it was only a kebab and chips and drink which they forgot about food arrived cold and soggy absolutely shocking won't be going back again oh I forgot to say I called them over 60 times and they only answered 3 times

I went here for the first time and can honestly say that the chicken sish kebab and chips meal was the nicest I've ever had, the food was fresh and tasty! When I orginally made the telephone order, the man was very polite, friendly, helpful and professional. When I arrived, he was oranised and I didn't have to wait very long to take my meal home. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely shocking service!! Had to wait over 2 hours for food to be delivered. After 1 and half hours wait I phoned and asked politely an update to be told it's on the way 15-20 minutes. 30-40 minutes later still no food so made another phone call. Was told it's now cooking! I politely said it's been over 2 hours and have hungry kids and adults to feed only to have the guy on the phone start shouting at me that it hadn't been 2 hours.! I said I want to cancel the order as I don't believe it will turn up and need to feed the kids and friends only to be shouted at again. Absolutely unacceptable behaviour! Worst customer service ever! The kebabs were nice but my son's fish was dry and had a twangy taste, batter was like rubber! I'll never order here again and our friends from the other room could hear me being shouted at so you have lost their custom also.!!!My 10 year old said it was a bag of disappointment!

Gone down hill, food not a good standard, wait is ridiculous and found 2 hairs in my food.

Ordered at 6.23 asked if it would be delivered within the hour.yes no problem 8 o clock still no food cancelled order had to give one star as no star option.think they should open as a joke shop instead or a call centre that don't answer the phone and leave you on hold

The chilli on the kebab was so spicy I struggled to eat it, I am not a stranger to spice, I love Thai and Vindaloos..order without the chilli.

On there website and on Just Eat I asked for NON contact delivery (knock on door and leave food on doorstep ) no they clearly DON’T read personal instructions and they just stand on my doorstep and give me the food which is not in my view contact free delivery as they claim on there website..clearly they can’t understand written instructions considering the current pandemic...hopefully in time they will improve and actually read instructions!!’

Just had 2 fish and chips and a donna kebab from med fish bar. It was absolutely superb. The fish was cooked to perfection and the chips were the best I have tasted in years. Well done to all the staff will definitely be ordering againl

Food is always great, unfortunately some of our order was missing this time, but a quick call to the restaurant and they cooked us our missing items fresh and delivered them to us very quickly. Will continue to go here for our chips in the future.

Worst fish and chips I have ever had. As a family we have been trying out all the fish and chip shops in Leighton buzzard and these were definitely the worst. Chips- hollow and dry, completely inedible- must have been left under a heat lamp and possibly refried. Fish- was ok, still moist inside but the batter was greasy and too thick. We bought four portions and had to throw them away. The fish was a huge oddly shaped wedge, no idea what it came from. I am sure the the Med fish bar sell other things are tasty and edible however fish and chips is not one of them.

Normally order for 6 or 8 and they get it wrong every time. Ordered for 3 tonight ( 3 fish and chips) and got no chips. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Food arrived quickly, which is great but the half roast chicken for my partner was deep fried and dry as a bone. My doner kebab was super greasy and the chips were soggy. Such a shame as we've had lovely food from there previously

Disappointing. Don’t recommend it. Chips hard (possibly refried)? and cold, even though we collected it. Donner meat lacked flavour, refried, dry and greasy. Why can’t we have freshly cooked food? After all we’re paying for it. Wanted to give no stars but wasn’t the option.

Overpriced food that lacks quality

Just had the worst fish and chips. There was far to much over cooked batter and next to no fish. This is a takeaway we use often so won’t return anytime soon.

Completely understand with the current situation and the fact that it’s the beginning of the weekend that it’s a busy time however, being told our order would be 45 minutes and not hear (or eat) anything 2.5 hours later is beyond a joke. If you’re busy, stop taking orders and failing to tell your customers an honest ETA! The lack of communication is so frustrating, called so many times and they are just letting the phone ring out. Now we’re struggling to get a refund! Get your customer service in gear and stop biting off more than you can chew!!

i am very impressed with this takeaway. The staff are always friendly and obliging and the food is always freshly prepared. I have even witnessed old chips being removed from the warmer and freshly cut chips placed in the fryer just for my order at almost their closing time. Their salad is second to none making their burgers the best tasting for miles around in my opinion. Their prices are way below the norm considering the size of their portions.

Run by a very friendly family. Always fresh food and fish pieces are generous in size.

Fantastic fish and chips here. The grilled fish (which came with salad, spicy veg and rice) was delicious, but sadly no longer on the menu. Went to a rival for the first time in ages last week, and was very disappointed! Will be staying loyal to the Med.

Dreadful, really expensive and so slow, only customer in shop, took over 10mins for two large portions of chips which were so over priced, won't be going there again

Horrible food. My husband found a very long hair in the middle of his battered sausage (which we didn't order,we ordered plain sausages and were given hairy battered sausages)..the batter just tasted of fish which I can't stand the taste of.

Awful Chips dry tasteless bullets Haddock tasted of KFC Fish bites were chewy Offered free food but refused refund had to go to JUST EAT to sort it.

Excellent new Fish and Chop shop in Leighton Buzzard. Great non greasy chips. Not tried the fish yet but I will update my review when I have done!
