Thank you for a delicious vegan afternoon tea today. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. What a selection also from vegan sausage rolls, breads and oils, 2 different selections of sandwiches, scones and treats. The freshly made strawberry daiquiri was very refreshing. We decided to sit outside because the weather was lovely and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the sun. Even though we did have to book 48hrs in advance it was definitely well worth it. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Thanks again!!!

Had breakfast. The sausages were clearly off or left out overnight. Can’t believe any Chef would have served this food to anyone. They were disgusting. Must be under new ownership because there was a noticeable drop in the quality of service since I last visited. Prices have also increased substantially. Will not be going back and would not recommend this establishment.

We were out as a family of 4 for my mums 88th birthday . My mum uses a rollator to help her walk and she moves very slowly . There were no tables for 4 people but there were 3 tables for 4 people who had 2 people sitting at them . No one greeted us or acknowledged that my mum was struggling .I asked a young waitress if the back room was opened , she said it was so we headed there only to find it smelled very strongly of gas so we had to return to the main coffee shop. One of the waitresses suggested that we wait on the sofas - not sure how she thought we were going to get mum and her rollator across the room through the tables which were very close together . Mum would not have been able to get off the settee if she had been able to get across the coffee shop. At this stage we were about to leave so I asked a waitress could she ask some of the couples sitting in tables for 4 people , to swap . She replied very very sharply to me -" I will in a minute but now I am very busy!!" At this point 2 very kind people offered their table to us . The food was very mediocre and the staff need some training in customer service - I did nt see one of the waitresses smile - the 2 older girls were sharp and rude . I wonder how they would react if their grand mother was treated in the same way as my poor mum . I must however say thank you to the lady from the kitchen who stood back patiently for us and smiled .

Great spot for lovely home made food. We had a late breakfast and it was delicious, especially the home made Stout Wheaten bread. Would love to sample the desserts another time. I will definitely be back on future visits. I also loved the little farm shop. Sadly I couldn't buy the fresh or refrigerate goodies as we were travelling but lots of lovely preserves etc. Looking forward to sampling more treats on my next trip.

Stopped for lunch. It was busy but we were seated at a table straight away. Then waited quite a while to be given a menu (there were none on the windowsill as you came in). Then another couple that came in after us got seated and had their drinks delivered and order taken in an instant. At that point I was all for leaving. £18.30 for two coffees and two sausage rolls. Staff not particularly friendly.

This cafe is quite understated and possibly not too well known. Yet it is always busy, with quite a mixture of people. The menu is great, plenty of options and specials board. Had previously had their ploughman’s lunch which is epic. It was my birthday and I was craving the ploughman’s but knew it was no longer on the menu. Saw there was a roast ham salad and thought that might be an acceptable sub. Got there to find no salads on the menu. We were ready to leave and the waitress came up and I said about the salad. The roast ham is stunning. She said not to worry, they could put one together or suggested the ploughman’s. My friend and I just looked at each other stunned. Yes very much, please. Some other people when leaving said to us that it looked delicious. It is a shared dish. Substantial. Inc soup and Guinness wheaten bread. Definitely recommend this venue for their food, helpfulness of staff, their ploughman’s and the farm shop is a great extra. The ploughman’s is a rarely seen item on menus which is such a great shame. We will be back.

Been looking forward to visiting for long time when we arrive bit disappointed by the size of the building .Anyway went in greeted by couple lovely girls looked at menu my partner had the fry I opted to try raspberry white chocolate scone tasty enough could have done with more fruit inside . Kitchen way to close to the restaurant as I could see into Kitchen lots noise coming from it . Paid for food average price . Took a look round outside saw cattle and chickens could be such a lovely outdoor setting just needs good tidy. Explored the shop got some local fruit and veg but extremely expensive. All in all I would visit again if I was in the area

First time trying here and I have to say the food was lovely. Ordered the beef burger, chips and gravy and it was delicious. Tasted really fresh, all homemade food. Big portions too. The grounds were also lovely with nice scenery and a slide for children to play on. The only downside was that the place was extremely noisy as all the tables were crammed into a small setting together and customers could also see the chefs in full view in the kitchens, cooking and washing dishes, which also created a lot of noise with dishes being banged around. It definatley wouldn't be a quiet place to go for couples for a romantic meal. And i found it was quite expensive. But I would return again since the food was good.

Nice food, ruined by very poor service and staff washing dishes in the cafe area - very odd. I have mixed feelings about this place, so I can not recommend at all.

First time visit and thought the place was great. A bit noisy due to flooring but really nice outside conservatory type area to sit in if preferred. Farm shop well stocked with a nice range of goods. Staff all very friendly and helpful, we didn't have to wait too long for the food especially as we arrived at lunchtime. Ample parking outside also.

Visited today and the noise was incredible! Staff banging and cleaning behind serving area! Other staff member brushing floor around us and banging chairs and tables! When I spoke to staff member when leaving she stated that some people have sensitive hearing!! Cakes were nice but overall experience was far from relaxing afternoon coffee and cake!

Fry was extremely over priced for what u got they forgot to put bacon on my plate and got a 50pence refund? So if bacon is 50pence a slice and I had of had that with 2 slices of buttered bread with two 50pence bacon I would of been paying 5pound for two slices of buttered bread just doest make sense as a sausage sandwich is six pound......sorry won't be back even though our water Brian I think was lovely......and thought lunch menu was way over priced to...shame as lovely setting

Good food but poor customer service. Food was lovely but when I arrived I was left standing awkwardly at the door to be seated. Numerous staff passed me but all avoided eye contact. Once I was seated I had to ask for a menu and then ask for a passing staff member to take my order. When the food arrived it was lovely but certainly not somewhere I'd recommend for a quick lunch.

My daughter and I had afternoon tea here and it was out of this world! The food was all freshly made and absolutely delicious, especially the tomato and basil soup which was unreal! The staff were so welcoming and attentive and thought of everything, it was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. I would highly recommend the afternoon tea - definitely the best we've had and amazing value for money - we can't wait to go back again! Thank you so much to everyone at Meadow Farm.

Booked afternoon tea for 2, pleasantly surprised to be asked about dietary requirements and all food is freshly made, hence the 48hours booking requirement. Food was excellent:- soup, baked potato, scones, wheaten bread, sandwiches, traybakes and dessert. So much they supply a box to take home what you don't eat. Service was excellent, staff friendly and knowledgeable about food. Ample parking and the premises are spotless. Will definitely be eating here again and not just for afternoon tea.

Lovely locally sourced food with a beautiful tipi setting.🌟 Delicious juicy burger and yummy flatbread. Staff were friendly and totally spot on with their recommendations for both food and suggesting we walk around the lake after. 💚The atmosphere inside the tipi is buzzing. It's clear that the staff and management are passionate about the sourcing locally and being as organic as possible and very fresh produce. ☕🍰We loved it so much we came twice once for lunch and then back for a coffee and cake..... Chocolate and peanut butter cake and the brownies ..... Were to die for.... Wolfed them down so no photo. Highly recommend Fodder and can't wait to return next time we visit Northern Ireland. 💕

Just had a cortado. Very weak with very little coffee flavour. Also, staff should wash their hands after sneezing into them.

Blue Cedar is right in centre of Ballynahinch. Locally owned and the food is homebaked with a wide variety to choose from. Ample seating and for all weather. Variety of plants to pick from after you are finished your coffee.

Although this little bus station cafe is small and always busy because of those who are passing through, I can honestly say some of the best coffee in Downpatrick is served here. Very reasonably priced, and they have specials on regularly to suit the season. Even if you're not making a trip anywhere, stop here for a lovely brew and a fresh baked good or confectionary of your choice to carry you through your day.
