Very helpful polite staff always aiming to please I order by phone and pick my meals up I would highly recommend this fish and chicken bar

First time trying this place and I'm glad I did . The fish is beautiful and I actually prefer the batter here as its light and crisp , keen to try the chicken pakora and other items on the menu They take card payments too which is great .

Ordered a smoked sausage and a portion ae chips, well I have tae say a wisnae impressed, the smoked sausage had texture lik rubber and hawf the chips were green. Widnae recommend tae ma wirst enemy

Good fish and chips, freshly fried every time.

They have good fish and although it seems to be a one man business he does a good job of keeping everything moving along so queues aren't too long. My son wasn't keen on the chicken nuggets but daughter loved the fried pizza. Parking is a little difficult with double yellows right outside and the one way street often having no parking spaces left. Would be good if they delivered but don't mind nipping down anyway. The newsagent is on the same street so you can place the order and go round to get snacks/drinks while it's being cooked.

Great service, friendly people, everything freshly made to order. The chips are extremely good. All in all, I have made it my local chippie

Delicious Special Fish supper with a side of garlic mushrooms. Chips: excellent, special fish: very tasty Garlic mushrooms: great. Will be back for sure!

Just had super fish and chips from this Fish and Chicken Bar. Can strongly recommend. Pre-ordered and ready and waiting just out the frier when arrived to collect. Great service. Great food.

Simply delicious all round. The fish was super tasty, great soft textured flakes, perfectly captured all over in a crunchy batter. Piping hot, crispy, yet fluffy chips that were just out the fryer. Plenty salt and vinegar, 2 pickled onions and 2 cans of IrnBru. Im putting this down to the perfect storm of all the components of a fish supper. Going back for round 2 tonight and hoping for the same KO result.
