I ordered a baguette but didn’t realise until I was home that they’d used what appeared to be a part baked long life baguette from a supermarket but hadn’t actually finished baking it, so it was absolutely revolting. It was stale inside but not crispy on the outside like a baguette should be. This was honestly the worst sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. My cake was also dry and stale. The whole order went in the bin after two bites. I like to support small independent businesses but this was just a total waste of £7. Plus I had to make my own lunch after buying it, as what I received wasn’t even edible!

Such a lovely cafe, friendly staff & great menu. Waffles were good & the soup/sandwich combo was a great portion size. Can’t wait to back & try more on the menu.

Dropped in to try lunch and wasn't disappointed. After perusing their extensive menu I opted for broth soup a cheese and onion toastie with coleslaw and a diet irn bru. The soup came first and it had a lovely homemade flavour. Then out came the toastie which had a generous filling of cheese and onion and side of coleslaw. At that point the wife came in and had a crispie cake and a decaff coffee. Our bill was very reasonable for what we had. We would not hesitate to recommend this café to anyone and will definitely return.

I am not a regular visitor to Falkirk but this morning I dropped of my son at the warhammer shop and the rest of the family looked for breakfast. We found the cafe trio. Great service, great food and sufficient variety to satisfy all my family, no mean feat. Highly recommend this cafe. It’s how a cafe should be.

Was advised by guests at another hotel that Powfoulis Manor did excellent food so we called in on spec. We had a freshly cooked 4 course meal at £35 each, generous portions and very tasty. The restaurant was immaculately clean and staff attentive. Will return.
