Mcdonald's Restaurants in East Riding of Yorkshire

It's McDonald's. The food is just about the same everywhere. So, what's Bessingby restaurant like? Cold! ❄️Whoever set the thermostat doesn't have a clue what "ambient temperature" actually means. The drive through is fine if you have a small car. Anything wider than a standard hatchback and you'll struggle to turn behind the restaurant. A meal for 3 and a 30 minute wait! Good job we weren't hungry. 🙄 Update: The wait was only 20 minutes for 3 meals this time, however one of the meals was missing! Zero stars for service.

Extremely bad attitude and slammed the window on us for no reason. He hadn't even told us to go to the next window. Then we had our salt packets chucked at us because they were too busy standing around chatting and laughing.. Doesn't matter if the customer orders a portion of chips or a £7 meal, they need to have the same customer service.

This place is too small for the population it serves, so if you want to be rushed off your feet on minimum wage go here, there is not much they can do about it as it's McDonald's in a rural town size , serving Bridlington and surrounding towns. That's why burger king opened at the pavillion.

Drive thru is an absolute joke, ordered a meal to take to work fries missing, go today order, asked to park in bay 1 just for a change, brought food out no drinks, waited another 10 minutes then went in to collect drinks, all kids in there with little training or common sense

Manager’s attitude is appalling

Slow service (fast food chain 🙄) Totally unresponsive staff. The worst place

A standard macdonalds. Lovely restaurant Usual mc donalds goodies. Fast food obviously. Great service Parking appeared plenty. Not too busy. Toilets clean and food warm and tasty.

Google maps and the My McDonalds app both stated this branch is 24 hours. When we got here, it said the store was closed at 11pm. Zero stars.

Was ok it's MacDonald what do you expect, the grandchildren ate everything so that's good

Cold fries cold burger long wait

just asked wife to buy son and me 2 burgers each and a large fries in drive thru Bridlington // guess what she got home in about 4 mins all burgers stone cold and worst of all no chips My days how hard is it to get order right arggg . wife usually looks in bag before driving away but this time she never so too late to go back what a bloody usles lot .. this happens time and time again so annoying .. and Bridlington store phone is always off .. mmm wonder why! get some better managment in asap .

Had a problem with my meal kirk could not apologise enough, gave me a refund and my order again free of charge, looks like he runs a good restaurant, thanks kirk

We went through the drive through gave my code from the app and the guy said ohh we will scan it at the check out ermmm why do I uave a code then so we went to the checkout then the lady ignores me gives me my change we went to the last window and was told to wait in lane 2 as the food wasn't ready not only did we wait for over 5 minutes for fast food when they was people drivin past us with there order we didn't get our points on our app for the incompetent at not only the speaker but also the check out when the guy who brought us our food said sorry about your wait ha sorry jesus frya was cold and half a carton then I asked about my points he told me he will go ask he comes back out within 2 minutes and says sorry mate nothing we can do I will definitely not come to this mc Donald's again with my family spending 18 quid a time do not come to this mcdonalds

Sat in order bay for 20 minutes in drive through. Staff haven’t got a clue

Very pleasant and efficient service.

Went to the drive through, very very quiet one car infront, waited about 10 mins, ordered a big mac but got a cheese burger with no pickle! Had to drive round again, waited an absolute age again for my big mac but by then my fries were stone cold 🥶

food always delivers freezing cold, always for get sauces and get the order wrong. takes over 1:30hrs on average. disappointing place.

Don't go inside but the drive through experience was pretty good tbh. Ordered quickly and got served quickly, plus the food was hot can't fault it.

It seems to be that people who order and sit in the restaurant are a lower priority than those who order by app or drive through. Why when I sit in the restaurant does it take 10 minutes for my food to come, yet if I drive through I’m out in less than 5 minutes?

Good value for money & ease of parking

No garlic or ranch dressing available like most countries ,job for top brass to sort as is comon request to the proper staff the front-facing guys

Instead of orange juice get a water.insted of large coke get a medium..and no sauces was in nugget box.so not happy.please check your order before drive away.

Long wait for Luke warm "food".

Quick service, the tables were all clean and i saw them sanitizing between customers. The staff were lovely and friendly, one even went to get some sauces for me so i didnt have to leave my little girl alone

You beat Macdonald's large muffin breakfast it's tasty and fresh

Appalling drive thru service, slow lanes to order - the left-hand lane had 4 cars go thru for one in our lane. Service window then tells you to park up somewhere on the left - sorry I thought this was a DRIVE THRU, the clue is in the name.....it means you make your order, pay at one window, and guess what.....Yep, 'collect' at the next!!!! Back into the room - reality check what really happens...... People order food after you in the very slow car lanes, then get served before you with full meals, sides, drinks etc etc. Those with Collection orders from inside, hey they get served before you...... You complain 4 times of poor service to the staff.....from start to finish your total #MacDonalds-Bridlingtonn experience has taken 40 minutes of your life you cannot get back - all that for only 2 Mc Crispy! If you're thinking of using the Drive Thru at Bridlington.....think again! Scarborough is a bit further, but it does what says on the tin ;) PS.....I have had to give 1 star, I don't even recommend that!

A fast door restaurant that no longer serves fast food. Only went through the drive thru for a Latte and cheesy flat. And get parked up for 15ins

Food came they missed part of the order and the food was freezing cold and not eatable the burgers and wrap was squashed and just a mess in the wrapper

I was there to meet someone, didn't eat anything. McDonald are good, is there anything or peculiar about these? 🤔 McDonald's are same everywhere I guess🙄

Does not cater for coeliac diet

I tried to call McDonald's about a missing item in my drive through order and was rudely hung up of multiple times by a member of staff that wouldn't even talk. I would call and say hello, and then would be hung up on straight away. I tried to ask for a manager, but was again hung up on. Appalling customer service. Avoid this McDonald's

Very poor experience using this McDonald's! Always a 10 minute queue to get to the pickup window then you are immediately asked to park up despite what you are ordering just want a Sprite... Park up, medium fries on it own... Park up and you are lucky after the 20 minute wait if you actually get the food you ordered!

Took absolutely ages to get served even though there was only 3 cars in front. Then to be told they ran out of bacon at 9am. Ridiculous

Terrible service, 3 times in a row we have ordered through just eat and the order has been wrong, the latest one sent a burger with no burger in it just bread, no cheeseburger and the mcflurries were soup consistency and inedible, absolutely rubbish obviously no one checking orders before sending and people need retraining, where is the management, get your act together!!!!!

Absolutely appalling service, 3rd time in a row our order has been wrong with items missing, this time missed off a cheeseburger and received a burger with no patty in it, just 2 pieces of bread, who is checking the orders before they go out, its not hard, also if you fancy a mcflurry don't bother unless you want to drink it!!! rang the restaurant and told to contact just eat, come on guys its 2023 get your act together!!!!!

What an awful experience, actually I don’t think iv ever had a good one at this place to be honest, my husband and I just thought we would pop through the drive through for lunch, there was a big Que which is nothing unusual, there are two speakers to prefer from and the guy taking the orders clearly only liked using one of them, as we sat there ages and watched the Que next to us keep ordering and driving past us, in the end my husband got so mad that we just drove round to the window without even ordering, we told him we haven’t ordered as he didn’t even acknowledge us, all we got was a dopey sorry, the van behind us in the Que also never ordered and did the same as us, then we got told to wait in a bay for our food which we also waited another good 20 minutes for, worst McDonald’s iv been to.

Had my order delivered as ordered off the app when I rang McDonald and explained the some off my order was missing I got told to go down and get it. The lady on the phone was also quite rude towards me.

Food good as always grandson loves it. Very busy but did not have to wait too long. Only thing that spoiled it was a group of teenagers mucking about and swearing 🤬 they were told to stop climbing on things but not told to stop all the F----ing no need to have to listen to that in a family place.

Got to be the worst McDonald's in the UK, always slow to get your food inside, too many delivery drivers/orders, the food is cold and your order usually wrong too.

So today my McDonald's experience was appalling. My so called food delivery arrived late, 2 out of the 3 items I ordered were missing and the 1 item that did arrive was all melted (Mc Flurry). Obviously I immediately called the McDonald's Bridlington store and the person who answered was rude and of absolutely no help. She basically said they won't send a new order out, even though it was clearly their fault, and to complain to Uber Eats to get a refund, even though I ordered through the McDonald's app. I said I didn't want a refund, I just wanted my food re delivered. She hung up!! Thanks for nothing McDonald's!!

It's McDonald's lol its clean most days and staff are always young and miserable but you get what you expect

Terrible experience, order was wrong, the food was cold waited 15 minutes for my big tasty with bacon x2 chicken sandwich x2 all with large fries, 20 chicken nuggets ( which never came) 4x chocolate brownies which were awful. Will never visit this place again! Rubbish service

Service a bit slow but arrived fresh and hot. Beware it's near a school but all the kids were very well behaved.

Who cannot really beat McDonald's for a quick snack only thing is the food is always lukewarm it's never very hot, it is the same at any branch of McDonald's in Hull, yes I have been to other outlets in different towns and it is piping hot, they need to address the temperature of the food it is never hot it's always lukewarm

This was supposed to be a large meal chips. Couldn't be bothered to drive back but really??

Fast hot food, what more do you want

I placed an order through their app for mcdelivery. they use Uber eats for this and they were brilliant and no issue whatsoever. My issue is that I placed an order for a family. We were missing cheese garlic bites sharebox and x5 chicken selects. The order was also missing all the sauces. Now have 2 very grumpy people in our house. I phoned the McDonald’s store about 2 minutes after Uber eats had dropped off to advise them that half the order was missing and all my sauces were missing. Basically saying I have sides and no mains. To be told by the person on the phone ‘you will have to ring Uber eats’. This is not Uber east problem as McDonald’s staff create and pack the order. I was apologised too but they said we cannot arrange another delivery and there was no more they could do. Disappointed.

Busy but good was good hot and service was fast

So we drove down to the seafront with our order of 2x quarter pounder cheese burgers with no pickles, 2x fries, & 2x soft drinks. Thought it sounded expensive when we paid, but very busy as per usual. Found in our bag 2 x double cheese burgers with pickles (which my hubby is allergic to and I hate) Also the fries were white and "wangy" (undercooked?) what a waste of money.

The food and service were amazing! Overall a good restaurant however crossing the road to get to your car can be difficult as there is always a risk of a car from the drive thru hitting you or speeding around the corner but isn't every McDonald's?

This is our local McDonald's and again for the last 4 out of 5 trips through the drive through this store has messed up. After placing our order and told to wait in bay one we were approached by a young male staff member as he thrusted the bag containing another cars meal at me through the drivers window with written in pen at the top Silver vehicle registration MWA. My vehicle a white pick up ? Does this guy need glasses ! You tell me. Not realising until we arrived home got the wrong meal again. Last visit ordered a double quarter cheese burger got one with one whole burger in and literally a quarter of a burger the cook must have been hungry... Time before that ordered the special spicy chicken burger, the box was the correct box but again when I arrived home it was just an ordinary Mc chicken sandwich. For God's sake I know it's a fast food restaurant but it's got to be the correct fast food. McDonald's Bessingby get your act together.

I visit McDonald's at Bridlington a few times a month & the service I receive is excellent and a very friendly team. The food is always warm and tasty. The restaurant is always busy but the staff still manage to keep the place clean & tidy. Thanks for the lovely service keep it up.

Slow service due to so many Uber eats orders getting priority over people in the restaurant. Half the food had gone cold by the time we received the order as we were waiting over half an hour for supposedly FAST food. Anything but. The eggs in the muffin were like hockey pucks.

Recently, I've received excellent service from this McDonald's. My order was wrong and we went to get it fixed and the manager was so lovely and accommodating, apologising for the issue. Usually, my orders are very accurate here and the food is nice and hot. Would recommend this McDonald's!

The blonde lady manager is not only absolutely vile to her staff but also rude to the delivery drivers and customers. I have visited on multiple occasions, once when I thought she was going to make a grown up member of her own staff cry, another when she was so rude to a young lad customer that he didn’t know what to do with himself. She barks orders at her staff and I really would not want to work with her. Makes visiting a very tense experience too.

Not so impressed with this outlet when compared with others I've visited. Staff slow and not really bothered about their customers in my experience.
