Mcdonald's Restaurants in Angus

I’m regular costumer of your brunch in arbroath mainly. Just wanted to share my story from yesterday and your managing staff behavior. Ordered meal for all family yesterday afternoon through Uber our delivery was fine but there was wrap missing for my son. So called arbroath mc Donald lady manager answers the phone I explained situation and before I managed ask what’s the options she rudely said “is nothing to do with me ask Uber for refund “ and hang up on me. So I get in my car get to mc Donald spoke with other manager she said at least sorry and passed me wrap what was forgotten to put in my bag and was stone cold. I working myself as manager in hospitality event industry and just wondering how do you train your staff? On our side is always “ our costumes our gods “ no matter what they want because we are paid from the money they spending. That manager lady in arbroath wasn’t only rude but her behavior was absolutely disgusting and instead saying at least sorry and try to solve the matter with me she ended phone call without word. That kind of person should work on factory line or somewhere where she not dealing with the customers because people as her damaging your reputation.

The queue didn't seem too bad so thought it would be ok to nip in quickly on my lunch break. Even though I only ordered a Big Mac meal, still had to park up and wait. I can't remember a time when I have ever just driven in and got my meal and driven out. Waited about ten minutes and got my meal. Got home, basically a two minute drive and the food was really cold. I find this to be my usual experience. I tend to avoid but thought I would try again. Won't be back for a while.

I was given the wrong order to my house,I phoned customer service to try and get the correct order and customer service worker was extremely rude to me and I will not be returning back,they hung up the phone to me just because I was asking for help trying to place a complaint,this was unacceptable as a single mother trying to feed my children I was not happy with the outcome

DYLAN in the drive thru was so rude and horrible. I would not recommend him dealing with the public. He shut the shutter windows on me!!!!!!!!!!

Food was good, staff were kind, had a bit of a wait in the drive thru queue but all in all I’ve had much worse experiences at McDonald’s. Read a couple of the negative reviews and thought it wasn’t a great representation.

Used drive thru, told to park up and wait, waited 15 minutes for a burger and chips, what a joke, got home, literally round the corner, food was stone cold!!!

Hands down the worse McDonalds I've ever set foot in went 3 times in one week as was stay at the red lion caravan park and my son loves McDonalds chicken nuggets. I've reckon a week in the jail would go quicker than the staff in this place and everytime their was something wrong with the order. I definitely wouldn't reccomend visiting especially if your children are hungry 20 min wait for happy meal and frappe

Went in tonight with hubby as in arbroath shopping . Got a long dark hair hanging from my chicken burger absolutely disgusting . Certainly not mine , as I have very short spiky hair and hubby has short grey hair . Hygiene is disgusting won't be back , was feeling disgusted and sick . McDonald's buck up

My friend got swore at by one of their employees whilst they were getting served her name was hannah and also got shouted abuse at him aswell

So disappointed, my wrap was soggy and covered in Fanta, but I still ate it, still very disappointed, also charged us for 2 and didn’t give us a refund or the second meal

Regulars here, performance varies, however today found the serving of ice cream, so so meagre. Mine, a small order, didn't even tickle the tastebuds, my partners, a large order, barely did so. Having bought the same order in Perth, only on Tuesday, one cannot help but compare. The staff explained, that its manually supplied, so what about weighing the finished product.?One wonders how, this can be a fair way to supply, at present. Spoiled our Sunday treat.

Visited MacDonalds Arbroath on Sunday , I was served by a thee most polite , cheery and well mannered gentleman called Tommi . Definitely brightened up my morning and made our visit to the MacDonalds a whole lot better . Definitely would recommend him as one of your best employees .An asset to your organisation . A.King

Ordered food at touch board and it asked for my table.Told so called staff that I had not sat down and said that I had to find a table.Well I was still entering my order.Put 666 in and received my order 15 minutes later and lo an behold it was wrong.Asked fo Vanilla milkshake and received a strawberry one.Not even the same bloody colour.Either dyslexic or colour blind but come on its not rocket science.

I understand that mcdonalds is a very busy place. But when an employee says she's not very good on a till she wasnt lying... order a caramel frappe and got a toffee latte??? Not to mention the 3 piece chicken select meal being 6 chicken nuggets instead. I suggest employees have a little more training if they are not confident in their job.

we understand that all hospitality outlets are required to follow statutory guidance, we are VERY compliant with current protocols. We visited the McD beside Dobbies Monifieth last week and observed all the procedures being followed cheerfully and advice was being given by staff with good grace. All in all a very pleasant experience. Today at McDonalds Arbroath it was all very different. First of all I was prevented from entering the restaurant before scanning the code for 'track & trace'. I was expected to stand outside (in the rain) until I had scanned, despite there being posters to scan at every table. I was unable to get the usual sign to put on the table for table service. When the food was delivered we were DIRECTED to take the food from the tray, in a tone and manner that prohibited any conversation. When trying to exit the restaurant, we found the exit blocked by another member of staff INSTRUCTING customers who were in the pouring rain with toddlers in pushchairs. The exit was directly in front of us but we were directed to walk thd length of the restaurant to another exit, for no good reason despite the fact that my husband uses a walking aid because of mobility issues. We both agreed that a return to this McD in the future is not going to happen. No wonder the restaurant was empty at lunchtime, its reputation must go before it! The staff didn't seem very cheery either!Covid restrictions should not restrict good customer service.

I visited this place and went to enter the premises, was asked where my facemask was, l informed this person (Mark Webster) that l was exempt and offered to show my prescription which was totally ignored. I was then informed that l could stand in a queue for take out, but refused the seating area. This place has no consideration for people with breathing problems. I will never come back. SHAME ON YOU

Stopped here for a quick breakfast with my son before going fishing. Coffee and food piping hot and tasty. Very clean and shall return

Every time I come here I have to wait 15 mins + for food. It’s suppose to be fast food not less than okayish timed food

Went there for 3 basoc meals. Awful. Slow service. Bacon uncooked and raw on burger. When got home fries half filled and 2 dips missing.

Added stuff I never asked for and charged me extra. They gave me some money as refund but with that added money they still scammed money off of me. They didn't wipe the table I was at, till I asked. The chips were uncooked. Terrible service I have ever had. I also stood in the queue for half an hour because the Trainee was unsupervised.

What a shame they have spent all that money on a lovely refurb and forgot to spend it on the food! Cold fries, lukewarm burger, indifferent staff, no salads at all. Come on, get your act together. At the moment you compare to the KFC next door, and that is NOT good.

No Grand Macs left at 7pm on a Saturday! Service was slow and unfriendly. Hardly any tables due to half the high school sat at them not eating or drinking anything....why are they not asked to leave? Would only drive through, least I'll get a seat in the car

Me and my friend thought it would be lovely to have a nice drive to arbroath for McDonald’s after work. We pulled up to the drive through and were greeted by someone who sounded like they had lost the will to live, after placing the order we drove to window 1 where I kindly asked the staff member if he could put my coffee cup from my previous visit in the bin to which he replied “I can do it but it will be a hassle” is it just me that thinks the wrong words were spoken? I didn’t realise and still can’t get my head round which hassle he would have to overcome to put something in the bin. I made a comment asking why this was a hassle to which there was no reply but feel my comment back outraged the staff member as we were left waiting 10 minutes for a cup of tea and some chips. I don’t know the policy on customer service at McDonald’s but I would like to think this was just a one off. I don’t normally post on these things but just feel terribly cross at the poor customer service and the attitude of the young ones these days.

Stopped here on the way back up to Aberdeen. Chicken nuggets every time fonished of with a Mcflurry. Great and cheap.

Fuimos para un rápido en coche a través, terminamos tomando más tiempo de descanso! !Después de esperar para las edades finalmente llegamos a la ventana de pago donde procedimos a pagar con tarjeta. Después de varios intentos (muy largo intentos) nos dijeron que la máquina no ha estado trabajando por lo tanto bien que sostener (ahora díganos! ) así que pagamos en efectivo.En la ventana siguiente nos dijeron que tendríamos que esperar en el aparcamiento, así que pedimos salsa con nuestro pedido. Este fue olvidado.En cuanto a la comida, fue fantástico hoy! Las patatas fritas estaban calientes y las hamburguesas eran preciosas! Gracias!

Very helpful staff, efficient and friendly- they also take your food over to your table if there will be a wait. Food is the same standard as most McDonald's. We go regularly and will continue to do so.

Hace lo que dice en la etiqueta. Disfrutamos de una comida muy agradable en McDonalds Arbroath. Sólo así - la estación Hotel en Carnoustie fue cerrado temprano para almorzar y se rechazaron de allí, de nuevo. Poco pregunto McDonalds está tan ocupado Arbroath hoteles y restaurantes según local y son tranquilas.

This is the best McDonalds I have ever been too! Great customer service, fantastic staff and unbelievable food! Highly recommend it

We regularly visit this McDonald's for a quick lunch or a cheeky hangover cure! The staff are always friendly and efficient with a good attitude. I'm fussy too and they never get annoyed when I order a plain burger which is much appreciated.

Good food, good service and helpful staff, kids can run around and burn off there energy, take part in family friendly activities, Face painting available from 12 - 7 at weekends and the staff go out of there way to make sure your visit is special. Great place to be

I occasionally visit but only if there is no other option and I have hungry kids with me. The best thing is the price, food is poor, service variable. Often filled with kids running riot while parents and staff look on seemingly oblivious. Might pop in for a coffee in the passing.

After arriving back to the uk from gran canaria we were starving so popped to this mcdonalds for a quick treat and it hit the spot! This restaurant is consistently good and caters well for picky eaters like myself wanting things plain etc! Nice staff and quick service

I visited this place almost every morning as a quick bite to eat and coffee in the morning. Dinner was had here as well. It was like being at home. Something that was familiar.
