Go here occasionally and it's usually OK but today was terrible. Burgers cold, fries cold. Sorry I went. Go elsewhere in future. More of a drive past rather than a drive through.

Don’t go here went to drive through told everything in bag drive off without checking as big queue of cars waiting and guess what yet again one of the orders missing . Fast Food don’t think so as had to drive back to get order rectified meanwhile rest of order going cold. Give this place a Big Miss

Waited over 25mins for my order. After 20mins I asked where my order was I was told they were waiting on hash browns. When the order came the hash browns were hot the rest of the order was just warm. The twin latta was awful. Thrown it away. Terrible breakfast

Every. Single. Time. I go they get my order wrong, this time they gave me a grilled chicken and bacon salad instead of crispy chicken salad and they didn’t give me dressing when I asked. This kind of thing has happened multiple times.

Food was cold specially cheese bites when they better when warm and melted, were totally cold and hard. Beef patty was so thin, looks like it's getting thinner and tinner in a very short period. Service was very slow, ordered table service and after 20 min we had to go to the counter to ask for our order,

I very rarely leave bad reviews, preferring instead to resolve problems out of the public eye. On this occasion I'm going to break with that and leave a bad review because these people aren't listening, aren't learning and appear not to care about their reputation or that of McDonalds. On the last 3 visits, via the Drive Thru I have ordered a basic Crispy Chicken and Bacon Salad with condiments and drinks. On every occasion the order has been wrong in some way with multiple items missing on each visit. I get that at times the branch can be busy but that is no excuse for repeatedly failing to get it right. McDonalds is not SpaceX, they're not building Mars landers. They're assembling mass produced items, putting them into bags and giving them to customers who have spent hard earned money in the expectation of getting what they want. All they have to do is CHECK that what goes into the bag is what the customer ordered. IT'S NOT HARD so I'm not going to cut them any slack. McDonald's Halfpenny Green, you need to raise your game, you're letting yourselves, McDonalds and your local customers down.

I now remember why I don’t come here, but my 4yr old granddaughter wanted to as a wee treat. To order, one of the self order machines was not working, but no out of order sign and you were just left to find that out. Ok, food ordered and now to stand, in no particular order,around the machine to wait for a good 15 minutes to get your food. Wasn’t worth the wait. They got the order wrong. Chocolate milkshake instead of a vanilla one, Mcspicy ( dry, overcooked and warmish) instead of a McCrispy. Chips were nearly warm and very bendy. There were no napkins or salt at the service station. At least the 4yr olds happy meals was acceptable, or she was to young to complain. Wild horses would not drag me back.

Visiting Mc Donald’s Forfar before starting work in the morning was a bit of a wake up call, asked for a coke no ice and a tea, te coke came with ice and the tea was a cup of hot water and a single tea bag which was handed to me with the water in the cup, not the teabag in the cup but separately, needless to say was very disappointed two things ordered one wrong and one half done for me, if I wanted to make my own cup of tea I’d do it in the house, not go to a takeout to then do it myself. Very disappointed in the outlet

Useless. I've been four times to the recently refurbished Forfar McDonald's and they have messed the order up all four times. Tonight we didn't receive our brownie, Oasis, and got 5 nuggets in a 6 nugget box. No sauce, after being asked for sauce, and one straw for two drinks. They are completely incompetent. Do not leave the drive through without checking your order.

The line for the drive through was far too long, eventually park up, go in and ibs8de it's busy with people waiting over 30 mins for food. I thought surely they are joking. Nope. I waited 35 mins from ordering to getting my warm (not hot) food. When I chased where my food was with the floor manager (who looked like he just stepped out of school) i was told, he didn't know how long the food would be because there's only a few staff in. Like wtf?! Anyways I sit down, eat my food and while I'm eating another member of staff shouts at a couple with their kid who is leaving after their own shocking experience, that they were leaving their trays! Urrhh.. it's your job, not the customers! If they choose to clear their table be thankful. Honestly the worst Mc Ds I've ever been in and that's saying something as I always eat at Mc Ds. I'm that annoyed I had to write this while in the restaurant.

Went to McDonald’s as usual but was left very disappointed. Order halloumi fries which were very greasy then the large meals came burgers were fine but the chips were under cooked no colour in them also no salt on them . The kids decided to have cheese burger happy meals but forgot to put the cheese on the burger. Have heard other people saying chips are under cooked on several occasions as well.

My wife and I visited this busy restaurant at the beginning of the Easter holidays. What made the difference from other similar restaurants was the pleasant staff. Nikki in particular had a very helpful attitude and she was constantly cleaning, a great work ethic. It’s something you don’t see very often these days!

TERRIBLE FOOD, best advice would be to drive past and maybe stay hungry for a bit longer. If you do stop and purchase any food you will regret it, drive through took forever with too many staff standing around doing nothing. BURGERS looked like warmed up DOG food made into a pâté ..... Absolutely disgusting. Complained, got offered a replacement meal .... NO WAY .... refund given. On the positive side (struggling mind you!) staff were pleasant KEEP DRIVING folks.

Terrible, went through drive through. Waited 15 minutes before even reaching the mic to put our order in. Service is so slow, much slower than before the refurbishment. You would like to think they take longer to make sure you have your correct order but no.. always missing something. Also if you order through Uber we never get any of the sauces we order for the chicken selects. Even sauces I buy separately I NEVER receive. Anyways by the time I started queuing to the time I left drive through was 25 minutes. The place has really went downhill.

McDonalds Forfar has recently had a refurbishment but unfortunately the experience we had yesterday is now much poorer than before. The layout has changed and not for the better - you can now barely see the kitchen and it's a pity that that contact there has now been lost. The interior is now all dull beige/grey and the atmosphere is nil. A pity as the staff were all friendly and hard-working. The sauces and napkins are completely hidden around a corner right next to a table with no space round about. The bin for used teabags and stirrers is right across the other side of the restaurant so there is no logical route out to the door if you are having a take-away. We didn't have any food so cannot comment there, only a cup of tea and we had to wait quite a while for that! McDonalds, you need to rethink your restaurant layout!

We were heading north from Edinburgh, on a rainy Tuesday afternoon and decided to have a break here, just off the dual carriageway. As we walked inside we could see that the drive through was very busy. We were greeted by a new, more open layout, which generally was better than the older look. The decor was bland and had no warmth to it (visually & temperature wise), but was more functional. Toilets were spotless. Our order took a fair time to arrive, but was well prepared, "warm" and enjoyable. Instead of waiting at the counter for your order, there is supposedly a way of finding/getting a table number, placing that number at the end of your self service order and sitting down before someone else takes your table. Easier if there's 2 of you for sure. A member of staff called "Alan" was excellent! He explained the "table waiting option", asked us how our meal was, cleaned the place immaculately and offered to take our rubbish off our table once we'd finished. Thank you Alan. Your effort and manner is appreciated.

Upon arriving, the attendant expected us to have the McDonald’s app on our phones as the machines were busy at the time. Instead of allowing us to stand in a queue for a brief moment, we were ordered to sit down and download the app as we were causing congestion (1 adult & 1 child) Ordered a Bacon Double Cheeseburger. Got a Chilled Bacon, lukewarm burger instead. Got a replacement, which was identical. The manager said that this is how McDonald’s serves their burgers now. Dreadful service, dreadful food. Avoid the place.

Some McDonald's cleanliness can we say is challenging! Staff are often under resourced and as a result, tables can be left littered with discarded meals. This McDonald's on our visit was quite the exception. We arrived at lunchtime on a Friday and the place was extremely busy. However all the tables were clutter free and staff were coping admirable and pleasant to deal with. Food came out without any great delay. A decent experience on our visit

This McDonalds has recently been renovated and this experience has been an absolute joke the lay out has been changed and they have got rid of two machines so there was a que but that’s not what I’m complaining about we ordered the food normally and everything seemed fine when the food arrived we didn’t think to check the ordered so we left when we arrived home the food was cold and the order was wrong we were missing a drink a McFlurry and a brownie instead of a brownie they gave me a muffin and I ordered nine nuggets and got 6 while the box said nine nuggets this is an utter joke and I will definitely not be returning after I have left this McDonald’s feeling dissatisfied and disappointed I do not recommend!!

Served this morning by Kaydin on the drive through, didn't listen properly to our order and very abrupt poor customer service, otherwise food was fast and the girl who gave us our food at the next window was lovely.

Ordered 1 meal and 1 side. Was given drink and told to park up. No explanation as to why ( seem to do this whenever im there). waited around ten minutes for food to come out to us( maybe 2 cars in the queue behind us that also got told to park up but not busy at all) Woman that came out was soaking as was pouring down. Checked bag and was missing the sauces paid for. When the woman came back with sauces i had to go in to get a straw as this was also missing. Food was just warm and no more so not sure if sitting a while before getting taken out? Why have a drive through at all? Must point out that not short staffed at all.

Sort out your cleaner staff they just rude don't waiting for us to order unpatient and rude rushing to moped the floor made us feel uncomfortable

Every time I go to mcdonalds for a take out they all ways get order wrong this time I paid for 4 portions of chips which I never got and did not notice until was home that they where missing

Brilliant! Less than 2 mins ordered through drive through and out. All good was fresh, lovely and hot and order included plant burger which normally has a wait time on it! Much better than our local one in Wishaw!

Stopped in by on the way home from Aberdeen and as being pregnant I needed the toilet which I was refused. Also the staff were incredibly rude. Will not be coming here again that’s for sure.

Arranged to meet with some friends from another household that we had not seen since the beginning of lockdown for a cheap meal and a catch up...although the catch up was good the £50 fine for parking longer than the allotted time (which is very poorly signposted) turned this into a very expensive trip. I can say that I will never be visiting again. My advise is if you are looking for a Mcdonalds to meet up with friends go to Arbroath or the KFC round the corner that wont charge you £50 - 100 just for parking and using the facilities.

Need to put up some signage in relation to the drive thru queue especially now there are two order points. On more than one occasion everyone has been patiently waiting in line until the queue splits in two and you go to the left or right order point. Then some idiot decides to cut the queue and claim there is in fact two separate queues (there’s not, the one queue splits like a fork in the road and they ended up blocking the entrance to the car park). The drive thru system has always been tight for space at this McDonald’s but a little signage would go a long way.

Visited tonight got my order wrong Was told to go back through drive thru to reorder part of order they got wrong,I explained the rest of my order would be cold by the time we got through again .I went in to get my order at the counter and was confronted by the most awful attitude,very confrontational.Terrible terrible attitude from lady called Cathy think she was a site manager not sure as she challenged me because she thought I was reading her name badge ,which I wasnt but did after she challenged me.Absolutely stinking attitude.Needless to say by the time I got the rest of my order everything was stone cold.Would definately give this place a miss.Awful .I may add though the young man who served me was very nice I think he was a site manager also.Now he is the kind of person who should be dealing with customers.

Terrible service got given 2 beef burgers instead of chicken burgers absolutely raging about it as I am vegan

In January 2020, I went to McDonald’s with my mum . The experience was good. When I went it was really busy and we struggled to get a seat. But the good experience about McDonald’s is the good food and loads of tables to choose from even though when i went it was busy. I would definitely go back to Forfar McDonald’s.

My family and I went here as a treat after school once we got there we ordered then sat down and it took about 2 minutes for our food to arrive and the food was great but the part that threw me off was how sticky the floors were and how dirty the tables were. It was disgusting but nevertheless the food was good and the service was and I would recommend coming here.

Stopped for lunch here when heading towards Aberdeen on a Monday.The small carpark was full, plus a large queue at the drive thru.We used the self service system, which worked well. Food arrived quickly, which was impressive considering how busy they were. The cleaning lady was rushed off her feet trying to clean the all the tables. She was doing well.My meal was good, especially the fries and nuggets (they were well done), but my chicken select was too moist (not easy to get it drier internally without having a charcoal exterior no doubt). A good stop off though. Toilets clean/tidy too.The road signs for north/south traffic require to be placed at the exit of this McDonald's onto the main road, to help tourists.

We (Three of us) stopped here for a breakfast on the way to Glasgow. I had the double sausage and egg muffin meal, the other two had single sausage meals. Everything was served hot and was very good. Service was good considering it was quite busy. Good value for money money.

So my experience of this McDonald’s was somewhat ‘mixed’. The food itself was as good as it normally is - no complaints and some fairly quick service overall.Three minor issues came from this visit. The restaurant itself was difficult to get to if you are driving north (better signposting would be a recommendation).Also, the building was packed and the staff were struggling to cope (the queue system became ineffective in the end). Lastly, my card payment didn’t print off a receipt from the touchscreen menu. Thankfully in this situation, the member of staff was trusting enough to give me my order when I stepped forward.Overall, a satisfactory visit to this restaurant (very conveniently positioned on the A90).

A rather unusual bunch of luncheon requests from the two under-tens in my charge the other day. One wanted popcorn chicken and fizzy orange, no ice, from KFC for his ... along with McDonald's chips and ice cream. The other grandson wanted a quarter pounder with cheese and nothing else ... plus diet coke, no ice, and ice-cream from McD. Well, we completed the order for about twelve quid and one run round the chicken shack and two around Ronald's drive-thru. I must say we'll have to be a bit more strict with the kids next time.

Just been to McDonald's and was shocked at the attitude and rudeness of the staff. We had juat been through the drive through and did not get out mcflurries so i went back in for them, only for them to moan at me saying "you drove off too soon". Maybe yes this was our mistake for driving off too soon but as a person who works with customers everyday you do not then laugh and roll your eyes with your colleagues about the situation right in front of the customer. I was told three times by the same woman "you drove off without them, you need to just wait". Number 1 I didn't say to them it was their fault and number two dont speak to me like I'm a child. Left not knowing what to say to them as the place was busy and I felt belittled. Customer service training is needed and I'm gutted I didn't catch the girls name.

Worse McDonalds I have been to food cold and the annoying habitOf the minute you order the hot drink is set on counter while you are waiting onFood anything between 10/15 mins so by now your hot drinks are cold So you have to wait again on getting new hot drinks. not enough staff And poor service would not advise the McDonalds atvall

I was in the restaurant on Sunday and saw mr h jarl belittling this young manager who was clearly trying to rectify the problem...the fact that you, by self admission, are a ‘serial complainer’ at other branches supports the fact that you were merely after some ‘free food’.... might I suggest our local food banks?? Oh and it’s unprofessional not improffesional....

Went to this mcdonalds this morning and received shocking service.

We stopped here for a late lunch break whilst heading south. The place was packed this dull, dreich, Sunday afternoon, especially the drive thru. We managed to find a parking space and walked the short distance to friendly service at the ordering counter.

My son met friends here on his way home for Xmas holidays from Uni. Stayed for meal, then coffees, chatting as they all arrived at different times. He was not aware of the 90 mins limit on parking. He was then sent fine from UK Parking Control. McDonalds Forfar - I will never stop there again or use any McDonalds for that matter. Explains why so many cars are parked up on the roadway in. Not a good way to treat customers. Know our custom means nothing as you are so huge.

Wow, these guys are happy to deal with predatory parking penalty companies. We parked here and had our meal. I took a call from work, I thought safer to take the call from a car park than on the dual carriageway. Bang, £100 fine from a disreputable parking penalty company for parking longer than some unknown limit. McDonalds unhelpful. They are clearly taking a cut. No obvious sine-age or parking bay warnings. A company who deals and takes revenue from such organisations does not deserve my custom and I will not use McDonalds again - probably better for my health anyway.

Beware of this McDonalds they can forget to put lids on coffee right often your meal is wrong so please check before u leave watch your coffee can be sitting for a good while before your meal is ready and often things go wrong in there and some of the staff are very surly if you complain can take ages before a manager will come to you

Good location for stopping off on long journey up north. Ideal for stopping on the way up to Aberdeen. Fine modern McDonalds.

Stopped in by the restaurant for a treat with my family on the way back from a day out in Perth. Ordered food and was sitting eating when my 4 year old son felt unwell after eating the fish fingers with his "happy meal" he then was sick and started to vomit. My partner had cleaned up the small amount that he had been sick and sent my daughter to notify a member of staff while I attended to my son in the customer toilet. On my arrival back I had found out the one of the staff members had said "I would make her clean it her fu*king self" to which my partner and other customers in the restaurant heard clear as day. I called for the manager who said the girl in question would be delt with but was very shocked at how we were treated. On leaving other customers has asked us if my son was ok and were appalled at the language used by a staff member and the unhelpful way the staff had gone about it. I hope that this issue is sorted asap as I would not like other families to be spoken to or treated the way we were.

We often stop here en route South. Mcdonalds is what it is. You get some food. It fills a hole and you move on. We find the food is made to order here so "tastes" a little better than other restaurants we have visited. Staff are always polite enough and I am a fan of the new ordering system - takes away the need to "interact" with people as much. All in all, it's worth stopping for a quick bite before you get on your way again to your final destination.....

Stopped in for a bite to eat on the way back to Perth from a road trip. Busy restaurant but was served quickly and didnt have to wait long for our food. Managed to grab a table and the burger meals we had hit the spot.

A fairly typical McD's with outside seating for a nice day. Easy to access and spacious enough to get wheelchair round.

Waited 40 minutes to be served with a Table number , 20 or thirty customers after me were served while waiting , busy fair enough ! After another five minutes asked about order and told there was a Problem ok . went back after another 10 minutes for a refund and the food was ready ? I slid the Table number 8 inches across the counter towards the Manager with the Multi Tattoos , who then accused me of throwing it at her , If I did throw it she would have known about it . Appalling attitude and service !

Nipped in on a Sunday morning around 10am. Very busy and waited over 15 minutes to receive the order.

Said "tell us how we did" on the receipt, so here goes ... It was Christmastime, shopping maybe, so far as my wife and daughter were concerned, making poor me an unrequired adult addition to their plans ... thus I found myself in charge of my six-year-old grand-daughter who "so very wished" to lunch with our local McDonald's Drive Through, in Forfar .... so, once again, into the breach went we.

Sometimes after doing a big shop you just can't be bothered to go home and cook, so you seek out the nearest fast food venue.Guilty! Seemed to be your typical Macdonalds with no-one on the premises over the age of 30.We decided to sample the new beef and cheese burger, which was ok, but personally prefer the bacon cheeseburger. Tasty chips though.No complaints about service which was prompt and pleasant, and assistant brought the meals over to the table once they were ready.A quick and filling stop-gap dinner.

On our way to Ayr from Aberdeen we stooped off at Mcdonalds in Forfar on the A90. As we were tight for time we decided to get a drive thru. We arrived in a large queue of cars but as its a drive thru it would move quick. We sat in the queue for 20 mins before our order was taken and then after paying we were told to take a parking spot to await our order. We waited a further 20 mins for our food. We were not the only ones waiting for our food this length of time. The whole set-up was shocking and no one came to apologise. This is not the first time this has happened at this particular Macdonalds location and I can tell you now, I won't be back. The way its designed, once in the queue you can't get out and once you pay you have to stay and wait for the food. The lack of customer care was shocking. Call it fast food! I could go into a restaurant order food and be finished in the time it took to get my order. I want this logged as an official complaint as something needs to be done about this location. Because its a good location right on the A90 it gets a lot of custom but they are just not staffed and organised to deal with it and its putting not just me off but a whole lot of people I spoke to. There is a KFC right beside it and this will be getting my custom from now on.....

Sorry but one of my worst experiences ever when buying food.... On Tuesday 17th October at 9pm both my Daughter and i decided to have a takeaway meal from the restaurant. We ordered via computer order 37 and joined the queue to await our takeaway meals... We witnessed one of the girls with dark hair pulling together an order that just looked like ours but it turned out to be 31.. The girl at the desk called out 31 but no takers. After about five minutes i just wandered over as other people that were behind me were picking up orders so i looked at the order on the tray that looked like ours but it said 31 on ticket but it was clear that 31 was not what was on the tray. The girl asked me if this order was mine i said i think it was because thats what i ordered and gave her my ticket.The girl apologised then began to put the order that was on the tray into a bag for us to takeaway. I said to the girl sorry i dont want that as it will be cold as been sitting on the tray for well over five minutes by this time. Maybe even more.. Anyway the girl then opened my burger box put her hand onto my burger and said no it was fine to her.... I'm sure you can understand my displease at the girl. I said i'm not eating that now anyway thats for sure. The girl then walked over to the young man in the kitchen with my order and said to him as he was cooking other burgers.. The gentleman says his burger is cold.. He then lifted the box and again put his hand onto the burger and said to the girl that's fine to me..he then looked at me a shock his head in displease to the girl. At this point i'm sorry but i raised my voice of displease not about the burger being hot or cold but the fact that food handlers have gone about their business in such a manner.. Im sure you understand i don't want someone doing that to my food that im about to eat,, Anyway hopefully this is not a regular occurrence with others food served at this restaurant i'm sure its not.. To be fair a girl with Blonde hair on the till came across and really apologised about three or four time.. I really think the girl and the young gentleman should be spoken to about their actions and standards expected...

My wife and I stopped off here for a quick bite on our way to Alyth. I had a cheeseburger with fries and a Fanta, My wife had chicken nuggets with fries and tea. The service was reasonably quick and the meals sufficient for our purposes. My only complaint was the amount of ice in the Fanta, especially in October!

Two happy meals. And a chicken 20 for ys to eat on another day out. Friendly and efficient staff and hot food that tastes great.

the men are really nice and smooth- just my type recommend it the food is sweet as...just like the men

Service is absolutely shocking this morning. No customers need service other than myself, it's 7.15am and zero napkins, 4 members of staff huddled round at the front counter with there back and I've been stood here trying to get there attention to ask for napkins....

Thought we would pop in here for a quick breakfast, new electronic system, may take a while to get used to. Used counter service, only two orders in front, plenty staff or so it seemed, like watching paint dry as they were slow, waited 15...

My wife and I stopped off here for something to eat and drink in the early evening of Easter Sunday (16th April) before heading home, after a day out exploring the nearby areas.The restaurant was fairly busy, but our order didn't take long, and service was pleasant enough.There's no point me writing a large spiel about the food or drink as it is your usual McDonald's fayre that you would expect in almost all of the McDonald's outlets up and down the country. Suffice to say it was good value for money and met with our approval.This branch of McDonald's is situated close to the main A90 dual carriageway and also has a 'Drive Thru'.

Takes a bit getting used to the electronic selection but I suppose it prevents a queue at the counter, but once ordered, paid for and seated, the food was brought quickly and let us get back on the road.Had stopped off at another place across the road but couldn't wait the 45 minutes for a table, so this served us admirably. Seemed plenty staff around to help

I ordered a double cheeseburger - 1x extra ingredient - a hair!! Brother ordered a double cheeseburger - hair. Husband ordered bacon deluxe thing - OH another longer hair. Ended up leaving food, no option of refund as the counter was bouncing with people ready to eat and order, and left even more hungry. This place seems to forget that people are eating this food, and it's not a case of getting an order and bashing it out as quickly. Hygiene practices needs to be addressed immediately. That was on one occasion. How many more has there been?? Probably won't be back for a while, so next time I pass I may pop in, who knows??

Like millions of others tonight, we had what we Scots describe as our "tea" at McDonalds this evening, as our sink was being replaced ... rendering our kitchen unusable. As good an excuse as any, you might say.We were three in number, two adults and one grandchild of seven and a half. I had the McChicken Sandwich Meal ... which is what I always have there and, for the money, it was as usual a first class offering. The boy ordered a Happy Meal with Chicken Nuggets and Fanta and he too was delighted with his. My wife had an adult version of the kid's meal and chomped merrily away until she annnounced that her nuggets were cold. I suggested she return to the counter with the 3 nuggets she had left and ask for fresh ones ... which she duly did ... and came back to our table with no less than 6 fresh & hot ones.No more complaints from us. The staff were very busy but as helpful as ever though none looked as though they had already achieved their 20th year.The place was clean and being kept clean ... certainly throughout our visit.Finally, three hungry people fed and watered for £11.47... what might there be to complain about?

Good food would be good if hotter especially the hot drinks. More sauce on the chicken blc wouldve been good

Ordered a takeaway meal for the family had some special requirements so expected a slight delay but didn't expect a half hour wait for 4 meals. Since McDonalds have changed the system of preparing food the wait at Forfar has been ridiculous. There is always a delay even for the simplest of orders and during todays visit there was a poor woman who ordred 2 hot drinks in front of me and still had a 20 minute delay. This is unacceptable and no wonder the place is getting poor reviews. Top tip to anyone wanting to visit go when its quiet otherwise expect a long delay or cold food.

Stopped off for a quick bite to eat on the way home from Dundee. My partners juice was flat and was obviously sitting out on a counter for some time, my milkshake was half empty and warm. Chips were cold, my partners Big Mac was cold. Manager was rude and very unhelpful. Feel sorry for the floor staff having to put up with Robin as a boss! Would not advise anyone to stop there unless you want poor service and crap food!

Forfar has to have the worst customer service in the world.Staff are lazy , impudent and filthy.The place must be the headquarters of bacteria.com as the staff just wipe tables with a rag and no cleaning agent.Don't order a milk shake because most of the time the machine is off or being cleaned or broken!Then if you get your shake it's watery.Then we came to my burger.It was cold and thrown together as though it was abstract art.Horrendous place to eat unless you want a stomach ache!

Ordered two adult meals and a child's meal. All were cold and tasted disgusting. Waste of money. Staff not very friendly. We stay out with this area and will certainly never use this McDs again when in the area.

Ordered lunch via the drive through and our order was taking very professionaly and politely.We arrived at the drive through to be greeted by someone who realy didnt want to be at her work.We asked her if that was everything and the order was complete - her reply was "YES" and she just shut the door.On returning to the office to eat our lunch, we noticed there was no dipping sauces for the chicken selects..... and the chips were as cold as Greenland!!Surely not hard to throw in 4 sauces?Slack once again from the Forfar McDoanlds

It's over a year since my last visit to a McDonalds, I was hungry and needing a quick break from driving in a long journey so I stopped at this one just outside Forfar.I ordered the chicken legend with fries and a bit chocolate at the drive through. The service was pretty quick and cheery dispite being busy but that's the only vaguely positive comment I can make, when I opened my meal it was disgusting! The chicken was slimy and grizzly underneath the batter, and the hot chocolate was watery, with no foamed/hot milk and was ridiculously sweet. Next time I'll keep driving!

Stopped here en route to our granddaughter's birthday party and noticed Angry Birds toys were being given out in their Happy Meals. As our grandson likes Angry Birds we asked if they had any balloons with Angry Birds on them for the children. Thanks to Rhys, we got three Angry Birds balloons for them. The kids thought they were great!Our meal was lovely and hot and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at McDonalds.

Popped in here for the breakfast two mornings running, have to say no problem with food on day one, however I did comment to them about the sauce that was splattered all over there serving hatch, dried in.Didn't think much more of it apart from it looked dreadful.Morning two guess what, it's still there, now considering this is the serving hatch, Ie the table of this restaurant it was disgusting, if you walked into a restaurant and dried sauce was on the table, not sure many people would want to eat in such a place.When I pointed it out to assistant manager, the lack of customer service was staggering.Not at any time was the servery to be cleaned, but I was certainly told how it wasn't they're fault etc etc etc.Now if they can't clean the hatch, what else here is not clean.I would be careful using this one again, have to say when offered the food free, not a chance, disgusting.So easy to let a place down and on this visit it certainly has.Some training required I think.

I normally stop here on the way south from AberdeenGrab a coffee and something to eat.Parking can be tight, but I can normally get parked.It's a mcdonalds, so don't expect anything else.PS. To avoid Dundee, instead of going back on the A90, you can take the back road the A94 through Glamis and avoid the traffic through Dundee. Most of the road is 60mph without any traffic. So it can make a change to battleing through Dundee.

Stopped at this particular McDonald's for lunch as we often do when travelling down to shop in the Dundee retail parks. The restaurant is usually busy, always a good sign, but the staff are always seemingly happy and helpful. The food is very good, and the coffee is as good as anywhere else local, the espresso in particular.

Just been refurbished now ticket collection service a bit like a deli, not sure if this is an improvement may speeded up their target times. Good burgers
