Mcdonald's Restaurant in North East Lincolnshire

We ordered a takeaway. It. Was awful. Half the bun was burnt . The ice cream was ok. X but the main was awful who wants burnt crispy bun.

I reversed out of the drive through and decided to go to another branch, not owned by the same owner. I shouldn't have to wait at a speaker for ages, I noticed a car pull up at the other speaker and I told myself if you serve this person before me then I'm driving off and that's exactly what I did. I'm an ex employee of mcdonalds, I know this isn't how you're supposed to do things.

Since you've got the audacity to charge for sauces then you could at least be so kind to out them in the f******g bag. Honestly. My 8 year old could do this job more effectively. Have you ever tried eating 5 mozerlla dippers bare back with no sauce? Dry I tell you. Sort it out, bunch of adults can't remember to put sauce in the bag wtf

Food only just warm. Staff more interested in talking to each other. No straws, serviettes ect. Mc flurry looked like a 2 year old had prepared it.

Order was wrong , food stone cold. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The burger looked limp and unappealing and certainly nothing like the photos you see inside. We put it straight in the bin.

Use this McDonald’s quite a lot due to how close it is to my holiday home. Have to say I’ve never once had warm food, warm drinks or even the correct order. I’m not sure how hard it must be to read a slip of paper but the staff and management do an excellent job at butchering my order. Is it the complete lack of brain cells in the kitchen? The lack of brain all together? Utter clowns and even worse hospitality. Unfortunately due to the ease of “fast food” I’m a victim to it quite a lot - however the point is it’s “fast.” How fast is a 10 minute wait to be served cold chicken? Probably just stay away, daylight robbery.

Potentially the worst McDonalds I’ve been to. I live local to this McDonalds so whenever I’m fancying some fast food it’s always convenient, however after recent experiences I find myself driving into Grimsby just to avoid using this awful restaurant. Firstly, the queues are always ridiculously long which makes receiving your ‘fast food’ hard work. Once you do eventually get the food you ordered, it is completely stone cold! The food is definitely sat there waiting for a very long time until you reach the final window. Unfortunately this isn’t just a one off issue, this is reoccurring and hence I won’t be using this place again.

It pays to check your order at the drive through window as its the third time my order has had items missing now. They expected me to go back at my expense or offered to replace the whole order if I took all the food back after people had started eating.

awful service. kids running around staff came in the toilet and opened the door on my daughter when she was pulling her pants down. she was humiliated. the staff obviously don’t care about their customers

Ordered 6 wrap of the day meals to go inside the store as drive through was only accepting cash. Patiently waited for order and noticed that it was not on the screen (was stood next to the pickup point) asked about it and was told that we didn’t identify ourselves when they shouted it out. So, finally received our order, with slightly melted ice cream and drove home. Once at home, found that none of the meals had chips, it was just wraps and drinks… advice of the day, always check order in store

I ordered from the drive through a double cheese burger savor meal deal. Advertised price £4.79. This consists of a double cheese burger, medium fries and a drink. At the checkout I was charged £5.15. I asked why have I been charged this amount as it is Advertised at £4.79. I was told it was because the drink I ordered was coffee which is not a part of the meal deal so they put each item through separately. This was not explained to me at the point of ordering . I checked what the meal deal consisted of which stated a drink. No mention of coffee not part of the meal deal. This is clearly a hidden charge by stealth that should have been clearly displayed . Needless to say I refused to be ripped off and changed my order to just a coffee only. This type of hidden charge needs to be stopped immediately and a full investigation into the price hike.

Staff don’t care attitude! They see you waiting and carry on talking! Happens all the time! Just in it for the pay! Why is food never HOT??

Popped in for burger before going to the cinema. Ordering was okay and we got our food pretty quickly. Typical fast food with burgers being fairly hot but fries were, to say the least, luke warm. Probs been sitting for a while. Overall an OK experience.

Arrived, placed order, 15 minutes later it arrived cold even though we were eating in. Took it back and waited another 10 minutes for a slightly warmer meal to arrive. Ate the meal, finished my hot drink…which was actually hot, went to the loo and left. 2 weeks later receive a parking ticket for £170 because I’d gone 12 minutes over the 1 hour allotted time in the car park. Absolute joke. Coffee was good but it should be for £180. I now understand the film falling down with Michael Douglas. Not that I’m gonna go on a rampage in case you were wondering, just not gonna go back.

Had to wait 15 minutes for service because the computer was down which is fair enough these things happen but all seemed absolutely fine for staff who walked up and ordered no problem much to the bemusement of the growing queue. Horrible communication then ensued from behind the counter as to what was happening as customers eventually found out that orders could infact be made,people at the back were being served before those at the front and no one knew what was happening. I gave my order which was moved on to someone literally three feet away who got the order wrong missing out two main items which I only discovered when I was down the road. No napkins or sauces I asked for and the food was cold. I realise the staff are over worked and I fully understand that there was a technical problem but the basics of communicating with customers and getting an order correct should be priority. Poor again from this particular Macdonalds. 👎🏻

Was in here on Saturday, had a large order and something were wrong but as usual Lorraine sorted it all out with no fuss. Staff work hard in a tough environment. Regards nigel

Seated quickly considering it was armed forces day, Bryony looked after us and made us all giggle with her amazing personality. Such a good asset to the team :)

The tables were filthy, bathrooms were disgusting and the floor was covered in bits of food and drink. It wasn't pleasant at all!!!

We were staying at the nearby Premier Inn and were looking for a simple teatime meal. We both chose the Festive Stack which was good but with two burgers a bit of a challenge for us. That said we made room for a McFlurry afterwards.The reason for the 3 score was that the food was only warm. This was difficult to understand as they were very busy with drive-through, delivery and in the cafe itself.

This outlet is very good, friendly staff, and good for kids. It's handy for visiting the cinema, the beach, and all the other attractions in Cleethorpes.

The first McDonalds I’ve been to that serves warm food I give it 3 stars because the food is still crap

I've used McDonald's for years for coffee. Most mornings before the pandemic I would use either Cleethorpes or Morrisons branches. So I accumulated a lot of cards and stickers. Then the virus hit and I hardly used McDonald's for obvious reasons. So the vouchers became out of date and then the scheme changed. So although you have purchased the coffee and collected the stickers they are not even allowing vouchers that are in date. I qued up on Wednesday morning only to be told that vouchers in date are still not valid. So I've purchased the coffee but I'm not allowed the reward. I think it's very poor and vouchers should be honoured

well organised, social distancing very good and service brilliant food warm and staff great with kids

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was about what you expect from McDonald's. The ordering panels seemed moody.

Went for a McFlurry at the first order point a sign said non available today, I was now stuck in the middle of a long queue unable to get out, asked the staff to put sign further out to save people entering the queue, I double checked when I got out of the drive through and no other signs were visible.

Bought a smartie mcflurry from here last week . it was the best mcflurry I have tasted . The ice cream was much thicker than other McDonald's icecream .

Staff all wearing masks and covid aware and constantly cleaning things down, refused admission to non mask wearing customers which was good too

Food is excellent! Price is VERY affordable. However, staff are rude and to quick to judge. When me and my mates went here, we were ordering off the new screens and staff told us we were messing about and to not colour or take a ballon as we are “to old”

Took our granddaughters here for a meal after the cinema,they love the chicken nuggets in there happy meal and drawing on the pictures there.staff were friendly and helpful.had two chicken mayo burgers which were very nice,was very busy.

We visited the Maccys on Kings Road near the cinema recently - with my son , who is on the autistic spectrum. He loves Maccys Anyway, we placed our order and got a table and waited for table service, but Tom was impatient that day. He kept getting up and heading to the collection zone even though we were trying to keep him seated. This is one of the reasons that we normally get drive-thru Anyway, he came back to the table and sat down but was agitated and then went to ground - full paddy mode. We were in trouble A member of staff came up and introduced himself and asked whether Tom was autistic. When we told him he was he took control of our order, went and got Tom’s fries and drink straight away and brought the rest of our order to us in a short time.He told us that, in future, if we tell them Tom is autistic at the point of order that they will get the order to us as soon as possible.All in all, a bad experience that was turned into a good one. Worst McDonald’s iv ever been too on both occasions got my order completely wrong let alone the food is always cold and the staff are so rude telling me I have to pay for sweet curry dip which has always been free just ignored me when I made a complaint wouldn’t advise anyone to go here

I don't normally frequent McDonalds but I was famished after a long walk up the coast. A nice modern feel to the place but as in all the others now it's difficult to get to the counter due to the terminals in the way following to the push to get you to pay by card without any personal contact... Service was quick enough, food was average as expected. Did the job in a food emergency situation.

We were staying at Cleethropes and popped into McD's. Nice moderen resturant with air conditioning. The only complaint, was the amount of litter outside.

This place was a complete abomination of a fast food restaurant. The place was totally packed with ferral Youths causing nothing but trouble. Food and drinks were being thrown around the outside area like a chimps teaparty. No security whatsoever, total carnage. Do not visit this place, it will totally ruin your day.

We had breakfast here while staying nearby. The food was good but service was slow. We ate once at lunchtime and the service was very slow and our burgers were only just warm. Seating was ok both inside and out.

The food was cold and the service was slow. However, I think this is more to do with the reorganisation of the chain and not the staff. Unfortunately, if you eat out the food is cold by the time you eat it. Such a shame as its always a nice meal.

Went in here last night for a meal, first class service, friendly staff with hot food and table service. Would recommend if you like the food served there.

Hi i visited with my family sunday 3rd feb around 1.30pm it was very busy managed to find a seat i wanted to mention a team member called lorraine she was so friendly and so accommodating was chatty to us and ask if we needed anything thing else had a smile aswell. Which is a change . There was another young lad on same shift he was lovely aswell seemed happy amd having a laugh with us didnt catch his name . But we enjoyed our visit will be going again

The last 3 times we have been for McDonald's breakfast we were told to wait in carpark..we like to take food home to eat....normally it's good but last couple of times it's been cold both coffe and breakfast buns...8 minutes had to wait last time...ok but can't understand why food was cold ..very poor service..as much as we love McDonald's we won't be hurrying back until service has improved...Will never wait in car park again as well.

McDonald's is a great place for a quick lunch there is a large choice of menu and the prices are great.After you have ordered your meal it only takes 2 to 5 minutes for your meal to arrive which I think is great.

McDonalds can vary a lot,and we have visited many throughout Europe .This one we visited in Cleethorpes was very busy with Children's parties but our order was immediate and must say that it served one of the best cappucino drinks we have ever had from a Macs! Comparable to any of the main Coffee outlets. The coffee can be hit and miss at some McDonalds and near to un -drinkable, although they all use the same preset machines, so full marks to the Cleethorpes staff for getting it spot on!!

Today I visited this branch of McDonald's and a lovely lady on floor service helped me settle my two toddlers she found them colouring pictures crayons and helped them sit down without any bother to herself shame I didn't catch her name

Utterly useless. On holiday it was supposedly a quick drive thru meal as the kids were hungry. Only ordered standard items and it was not overly busy, part of the order was given to us, but were asked to park up and the missing items would be brought out. Well, 15 minutes later still no show. The wife gave up waiting and went into the store, only to be told they had forgotten all about it!!! So all in all a quick drive thru ended up taking 35 minutes. Way to go Mc D's!!!!

Very quick delivery and enjoyed the food I ordered. The waiting for my food though in the queue was a bit long though although I only ordered 2 items and other people got there's before me.

I wanted to write a review to commend a particular staff member. This morning, my husband and I went in just to get a coffee and sat outside. I noticed a young man called Chris working on the dining area / taking orders out to cars parked in the bays. He was working really hard, and seemed to enjoy his job. He brought out a bowl of water for our dog completely spontaneously. Made conversation with us. Very friendly and see really great asset to your team. If there is an employee of the month scheme please consider him !

A newly rebuilt McDonalds very nice. We sat outside which was really nice. We only had a quick snack but it was very nice.

Great McDs restaurant and I've been to many!!! The new American menu is out and Tennessee Stack is great. This Cleethorpes McDs is clean, friendly and really pleasant to be in. Highly recommended

Came here after my husband and I had been to the flicks. It was about 10.15 when we arrived and the place was packed.. we went straight to the board and placed our orders I got us a table..

We visited late Thursday night after arriving late in to the area and Spent £40 on a take away to find the order not complete and some of those we ordered for had to make do with sharing others, we went back the follow day but they we not very helpful, the restaurant was untidy and the pre order machines broke during ordering your food and after going through this process a couple of times we proceeded to the till to place our order.

food was what we always expect at mcD's but the customer service was brilliant. a guy called Eddie was giving out mothers day cards to colour. really interacted with my grandaughter. i rate customer service above food. he was a star

When we went in there were lots of ‘youths’ in there probably around 15/16 who hadn’t bought anything. Me and my 3 friends ordered 2 hot drinks and sat down and 5 minutes later a rude lady came over to us to tell us we couldn’t sit in with just drinks and we had 5minutes before we had to leave !! We had clearly been grouped in with the other youths that were in there which is extremely stereotypical just because we’re 17/18 year olds. We had only been in there 5 minutes and if we were planning to order food we wouldn’t have had the chance so well done on losing out on customers X

I'm finding this place much better now you don't have to talk to anyone, you order your food on the giant order board, so your not getting rushed and there not getting your order wrong, you get time to browse to see what you would like. It's a lot more stress free.

had a trip with my boyfriend and another couple, we ordered on the self service machine, waited for our food, we were waiting over 10 minutes for our food, the manager on was extremely rude, too bothered about sorting his own food to see to...

Arrived at lunch, 12.30, in school holidays. Nowhere to sit, queues to the door, and some difficulty using the new menu boards. Luckily help was available to complete the order. Eventually found a table in time to receive our table order. The food was hot...

Great location where it is situated not far to travel to handy for my son when we were out and about .

There is a gentlman that works there and i forgot his name anyway anyone with a child with Autium would love him , he really went the extra mile to accomadate my Grandson, and he is the very first stranger the Hunter has spoke to on a first meeting, also just had a refurb done it's nice

if you need something quick to eat this is the place .good for familys plenty for keeping them ocupied while there waiting from ipads to good old fasioned coloring in.or just for grabbing a cofee.go on give it a try.

No soy un fanático de la comida, pero adoro McFlurrys. Estaba un poco sorprendido por la nueva máquina a la orden y pagar. Tardaron dos de nosotros. Mientras los jóvenes no tendrán ningún problema para nosotros más maduro y menos gente lucha ordenador savvy. Me alegro de los McFlurry era tan bueno como siempre.

Its ironic that im writing this review off the back of a customer service review i gave to macdonalds regarding their performance. The only issues ive really had at this branch is customer service. and with the same person. no fexibility whatsoever despite me being told i could order something other than a big mac by another supervisor, this lady refused despite me filling in the on line survey for a cheap meal. she also refused to let me have two meals despite having two vouchers. she had already riled me. and then rubbed salt in the wound. there is just no need to be like this. she actually peered into my car and asked where the other person was. shocking really. for the sake of a couple of pounds she was prepared to stick to the policy to the letter. no regard for the customer at all. she is the first assistant which i assume is high up. well she has made one customer not feel valued in any way. really annoyed about it

Fits in with what I've come to expect from all McDonald's restaurants! They're not fast food outlets because you usually have to wait for your order. Food is lukewarm to warm and the coffee is scaldingly hot.

Nothing special but nothing wrong. A good selection of food... Good n speedy service. We visited prior to lunch. Plenty of space.

We visited this venue this morning for breakfast, my wife always has pancakes with syrup and i always have a double sausage cheap and cheerful, staff always friendly venue is always clean, i have seen some of the comments which i don't think are fair - the price is right my attitude is you do't like these places go and pay twice as much elsewhere, thank you for your food its generally fast, if we ever complain it is dealt with at once.

Getting to be regular weekly treat breakfast and pancakes for my wife, very clean venue spoke to Eddie i think he was a cleaner there but was so efficient he should be the boss, our visit was very good specially as Eddie was so polite and helpful you need to look after him as i would employ him the food was very good for the price again well worth a treat thank you

After swimming family visit... rude manager on window was really annoyed that we asked to add to order. Then told us if we can't use our window then we shouldn't be using the drive through and to go in to store next time... (our electronic window has broke... but my door works!!) Wasn't a problem when I visited the morrisons branch previous week! Chips over cooked. Little sauce on burgers so really dry. However those chicken selects are fab!! We'll go to KFC next door next treat night and not listen to kids

A typical McDonalds but very busy. Not a pleasure as too full (Saturday) but the food and drink as usual. Took a long time to receive order but it was very busy.

No complaints whatsoever for what was swift and friendly service.That may seem like what you'd expect (and indeed should do) but it is far from the case with most McDonald's in the UK today.

We called here for first time after a walk.The place was clean service quick staff pleasant and coffee good.

Called for breakfast today ordered 2 double sausage and egg mc muffins and a latte asked how much it would be for meal if there would be a saving girl didn't have a clue "errr don't know about 4 quid" she answered went to window paid. Miserable sultry girl not a smile a thanks or nothing. Closed window as quick as she could after taking my payment. Oh well I thought must be having a bad day drove to next window again a miserable girl on minimum wage looked like her face would crack if she smiled. Told to wait in car park for my order nearly 10 mins later a guy came out with 3 bags fir 3 different cars including mine. Checked price in way out and would have saved 21p by having a meal as well. I know it's not a lot but your staff should have been able to tell me this ....jeez it's not open heart surgery !!!! McDonald's if your gonna employ kids make sure they,re people persons they both let your chain down today.

Called in today on a visit to the resort and "the husband" decided he wanted a Big Mac. I waited outside as we were accompanied by our dog. All the tables were cleared and cleaned on the patio area and someone was out checking for any spilages. Frankie spoke to my dog as she passed and a couple of minutes later returned with bowls of water for my dog and that on the next table. How kind was that? We ate our Big Macs and I indulged in a Kitkat Chunky McFlurry. All the service was excellent. It was a busy lunchtime and the team worked through the queues quickly and efficiently. Yes, it's just a MacDonalds but it's service that makes the difference. Thanks Frankie for your particular attention.

We went here close to midnight on Saturday 20th August it was really busy, overall the floor was clean, the food was hot, we were served fast, the queue was worked through at a fast pace, the staff were efficient.

Lovely patio area outside in the sun as well as the regular seats inside so loads of options and choices for seating. Food was hot and fast and i've only knocked a point off as the gents toilets were a little messy.

Drive through dinner, very quick service. Order was exactly what we ordered and arrived nice and warm. Use this branch frequently and will continue to do so.

A busy Tuesday morning in McDonald's cleethorpes it's very busy today. The cleaning person seems more interested in chatting to customers than cleaning. The ques, are going down quickly service not bad today. Food same old same oldBut it is what is.?

What can you say it iii always goes down well. And its right easy to get to. Positioned next t cinema.

Staff don't know what their doing and restaurant is always untidy.Tables are never cleared or cleaned unless you ask and during the holiday season it gets worse.Blame management not staff as their underpaid and over worked,so give this place a miss and eat elsewhere.Shame really with cinema next door.

Not a keen fan of Mcdonalds but I was very pleasantly satisfied by the quality , portions and taste of the food and the staff were ever so friendly and helpful I would recommend this particular Mcdonalds branch to everyone

Not a regular macdonalds customer and visited out of necessity - needed 'refuelling' after long day and had to get back on road. Chicken legend was lovely tho did seem to be thrown in the box ?! Was ordered and delivered to table when cooked by friendly , efficient staff.

I don't suppose I could have expected anything else really. Meals late, if they arrive. Plenty of people complaining as well as me about the standard of service. Staff attitude not very good. Management give apologies for poor service and wrong meals all too often in the 30 minutes I was in there. Not very clean or tidy.

i visit the madonalds on a regular basis for breakfast. and its normally spot on. however on two recent visits ive had a few issues. there is no need to go into any depth as to what those issues are. just to say i wrote to McDonalds to air my views as its a recurring problem. i was sad to say that my reply was just sorry! which is fair enough. but not even a come on in and have a big mac on us (i dont like big mac, but you get my point) i dont suppose this will be of any interest to anybody as it wont deter anybody and it will always be popular, but i felt i needed to say my piece

We visit this Mcdonalds quite regularly when we go to Grimsby. Its quick to get food than other mcdonalds we have visited. the staff are friendly. the place is clean and tidy

We are visiting this venue more often and I have seen the bad reports which are not worth the bad comments the food is fresh cheap and quick always go somewhere else I love the breakfast bun it's great thank you x

You always know what you are getting in the way of food at McDonald's but the staff make the difference and in this outlet they have an excellent group of staff with patience to deal with the inexperienced diner but they are still efficient, The place is kept clean and tidy even though when we went there were customers who had bought thier food and were waiting for a table to become free.

Nearly every time we have visited McDonald's whether it be summer or now winter the ice cream maker isn't working. I think it may be time for them to invest in a new one. What is even more annoying is that if you are using the drive through (which most people do) you don't know till you get to the window !!!!!!!

Mc Donald's is mc Donalds, but this is defiantly the best run one that seems to be organised and well staffed. Newest man on drive through is very friendly and polite

By far the best Maccys in GY or Clee,without a doubt,food well prepared,clean tables and efficient staff.Will go again even if a little further away than other outlets to where I live.Well done.

Usual McDonalds fare. Doesn't particularly taste any different to any other. Presentation sometimes leaves a bit desired. Kind of slapped into the box! Very busy on weekends with kids etc but I'm sure they mostly are. Good for a quick bite.

Not the best and certainly not the quickest, definately a different slant on fast food, plenty of other restaurants very close.
