McDonald's in Conwy

Sadly I have had to report to head office that there was a nasty and sickly taste to there burgers and it's taken me around a week to work out what it is and it's the tomato ketchup worked this out by ordering the same burger but without tomato ketchup and it was great. Clearly a bad patch of tomato ketchup has been delivered to both Llandudno and the junction ( junction) not quite so bad but still of. I hope headoffice take this seriously and get this sorted as soon as possible

Always get the food orders wrong and food is more often than not cold

(07/2022): Service was pretty slow. Yes, it was lunchtime and busy but, for McDonald's, it was still very slow. Probably focussing on Drive -through custom and Mcdeliveries than in-store trade! Food was nice though, at least, nice for McDonald's!! Another visit (10/2022): much quicker service. Perhaps they were having a bad day last time I was there! Back again (08/2023): only had a coffee this time. Needed to charge phone and McD's very helpfully have USB charging sockets under some tables. Brilliant!!! ... And again! (01/2024): So much for my new year's resolution to avoid eating at McDonald's this year (and this was the second visit to a MaccyD's this year already)! Needless to say, I keep coming back... Doesn't that count as a good review!!??

We visited on 6.1.2024 and the burgers we had actually looked liked the adverts they were put together with care and real pride. The staff were helpful and we didn't wait long even though the place was really busy. Thanks for a positive experience and keep up the great work. Also well done to whoever was putting the burgers together, best I've seen in any McDonald's.

Standard mcds , fries had been standing a while , very soggy and cold we used drive through

It was clean and tidy even though very busy, their order boards though were not giving receipts, so no one had a number, making it a bit confusing when orders were coming out

The food was hot and tasty. However the self service machine would not print a ticket, nor did it display my order number once I paid so had no idea. I waited around till I guessed my food order. It came on a dirty tray by a staff member who clearly did not want to be working. It was busy so clearly under staffed. The table was not very clean either and then to go on the WiFi you have to put your number in and wait for a text. But no signal in Llandudno and was not happy having to put my number in anyway. New restaurant which clearly does not work well. At least put paper in the bloody machine.

Very lovely place to visit. Very different. A must.

My cappuccino coffee was cold and I didn't order iced coffee it was just cold. Theres Never any milkshakes here

Busy place my hot chocolate was only warm but had it changed no problem and brought to me

I only went there because I was at the end of a 200 mile ride and my toes where frozen. You order your food then it doesn't print off a receipt so you don't know what your order number is. You stand there with 20 other people trying to work out who's meal should be next makes you concentrate. My toes warmed up .

Food cold, lid on tea not on properly so as the tray was 'dropped' onto our table by the server the cup toppled and spilt. Ordered another one and that was barely luke warm ! Burger had no cheese.

We had a lovely birthday party there, the manager was great and really helpful. All the food orders were bought to us quickly .

Gets very busy at lunch time with the school kids as well, but quick service and very pleasant.

I like McDonald's food! First time in the new building. Very nice and very friendly staff.

Food is always cold when i order from here got the big tastu the other day parked up in the carpark and it was stone cold. Poor attitude from the staff who are more interested in talking toem eachother. Never had a pleasant experience here its like they hold the food for ages and dont check on the quality before giving it out

Been many many times with no trouble, but recently they have got my coffee order wrong three times in a row. 'Two white coffees' does not mean 'one flat white and one white coffee' nor does mean 'one black coffee and one white coffee'.

NO social distancing!!!! I had to call for the manager because we need to social distance!!!!! My Tropicana Orange Juice had no use by date on it!!!!! No I pads for my children anymore!!! How dare they!!!!!!!

No social distancing here. There were 6 people sitting at a table where the notice clearly said only 4 allowed to sit together. Had to queue for ages only to be pushed in by people who didn’t believe they had to queue.

Drive through safe and sound, with helpful and friendly staff. All the safety measures are in place, so no reason not to go grab some breakfast! They deserve your support in these tough times. You know what you are going to get from McDonalds, fast food at a fair price, so use it or lose it! Thank you.

Don't take cash, starved me this morning because I only had cash. Unlogical because they want you to use the touchy screen that if anything spreads more covid than cash. If you wash your hands after touching cash what's the issue?

We came here to make use of government eat out scheme. We queued for 30-40 mins to get served. As part of the scheme you have to eat in to get the discount however there are only 4 tables available inside. The other half of the restaurant is closed off. No reason why they could easily open other tables and still socially distance. We just got out discount and took food out. Along with other things I ordered a doughnut and a McFlurry and ended up with two doughnuts no McFlurry.

We decided to visit on our way back from a day out in Llandudno.As a family of 4 we decided to eat inside.Waited about 40 minutes to be seated and once inside we noticed only 3 tables were in use. The biggest half of the restaurant was closed off so members of staff could dump their bags and the tables had signs stating staff only.Members of staff eating all snug and warm and customers outside queuing in the rain OMG!Is this restaurant putting the customer first? I think not!Oh and the lady at the front of house was very flustered and about to have a breakdown, again all this due to the lack of tables for the customers even though there were plenty of tables that could of been used if not reserved for staff!Poorly organised and poor management.I'm not exaggerating,Stay Clear.

Went here yesterday was stood outside for an hour in the rain ! When I got inside I realised half the restaurant tables were closed . I do realise you have got to close some due to these new restrictions been put in place due to COVID . But you could of opened every other table up and kept 2 metres between them , I feel this is very poor management! Lots of kids standing in the rain for no reason if you got your act together and followed the restrictions and used your common sense ! Very poor management !!!

Went to McDonalds Llandudno today with my wife and 2 children. The lady on the door organised the queueing and kept everyone safe. Chap inside was very polite and helpful as was the young lady who served us. The lady cleaned the table before we sat down and the meal had been freshly prepared and only half price! Thanks .

The girl on the till today Saturday 18th July, at 15.40pm with the glasses was disgusting towards us, she left our food on the side for 15 minutes bagged up and when we got to the collection area, we asked for a fresh burger as ours had gone cold, she snapped the bag off us and threw a new bag at us! No napkin, straws or dips. Disgusting attitude on her! She needs to be sacked.

Visited for breakfast this morning, surprised how quiet it was for a Saturday morning. when I sat down with my food I discovered I'd been given the wrong item. I went back to the counter and told the girl it was wrong where argued with me about what I had ordered. I wouldn't mind but the food shed given me was something of never eat because I hate one of the components! She then rolled her eyes and said she'd change it. I asked her if she could do it without rolling her eyes to which she snapped she hadnt. she then proceeded to reorder and deal with me in a mist rude sullen manner....There was no apology at all and then I had to ask if that meant she had overcharged me. she called the manager for a price, even then no apology was offered. eventually got the correct food however the bad attitude from the girl and lack of customer service is a disgrace. don't go here unless you don't mind stroppy people blaming you for their mistakes!!

At my visit today i went to pay for my McDonald’s and I couldn’t reach the machine, and while I was enjoying McDonald’s at home I found a bone!

Upon coming to llandudno mcdonalds I was very happy with the service and quality of food. I came in at a later hour maybe 11pm or 12am and ordered 2 hot drinks the woman who served me was not friendly at all dont know who she thought she was heard her speaking to the car in front of me in a disgusting manner and the way she greeted me was like she didnt want to be there at all so arrogant I caught her name badge which was Emma D and when I asked to speak to another member of staff she said they were to busy and to leave them alone and as I had my drinks she urged me to leave the drive through (there was no one else there at this time) and when I tried to speak told me to go and closed the window you mcdonalds will not be having my custom again

We use mcdonalds several times a week, mostly through the drive in, and alot for family, so we have big orders, the service at llandudno is mediocre, there is always something missing, like sauces, milks or salt etc. The food is quite good, we like the stacks and my grandson like the kids meals, and we all like the mcflurries, would be nicer if they put chocolate bits in the bottom aswell, but staff seem to be lacking in concentration, 2 nights ago i was waiting at the drive in and witnessed a girl with dark hair, having a proplonged flirt with a guy in a white shirt, not sure if he was a manager, whilst myself and many other people were waiting, i have never felt valued by the staff here.

Just wasn't very good. Unsure of what else to say. Food was rubbish, looked nothing like the pictures.

Never feels or looks clean in this place. Food is what it is with all McDonald's stores (can't bring myself to call it a restaurant).

The busiest McDonald's on the planet. Massive queues inside and rude kids outside sitting on tables and being a nuisance. Finding a seat is nearly impossible. Get a drive through.

Went here yesterday,and the staff behind counter was great and food was great,but the blonde haired cleaner was fine until his partner and child came,and his partner sat at a table with no food,shouting to the cleaner your son wants you,then my child dropped bit of litter of the table onto the floor,and the cleaners partner ran over picking up our litter,we said it’s accidentally fell of the table,we will pick it up ourselves,then she starts saying you should teach your children to behave my husband,she said, works hard here,we said it’s a accident the table is full,cleaners son was climbing on the table,but his partner didn’t tell him of,then another customer asked if she’s finished as she didn’t have no food on her table, as there was nowhere to sit, she shouted no I haven’t my sons come to see his father hasn’t he,Jesus the atmosphere was terrible,cleaner told his wife to go and she said no I will not,but sorry I’m not having someone who doesn’t even work there, tell my child of and other like cleaners partner did,

We come here quite often and we always hope it gets better but it doesn’t. Every time we come we order a milkshake and all the time the machine is either broken or being cleaned. Ordered 2 happy meals, quarter pounder meal and a big tasty meal through the drive through. Had to park up and wait for our order. Bare in mind it was 28 degrees one of the hottest days of the year. Had to wait 15 mins for it. Husband went in to the McDonald in the end to get it. This McDonald’s really needs a new manager

Went to drive through and ordered 2 cheeseburgers and 2 large fries. Was asked to park in waiting bay one. 5 minutes later got the order for the car in bay 2. Couple of minutes later got my order. Fries were stone cold, which they replaced. Cheeseburgers were like warm and no serviettes in bag. Total rubbish, avoid like the plague.

Llandudno junction have now decided to stop selling bacon and egg bagel meal eaten these for years very Dissapointed yet they sell bacon and egg muffin and sausage and egg muffin so why not put the bacon and egg on a bagel doesn't make sense!

Hardly fast food. Waited over ten minutes in a 10 person queue for breakfast. The staff are all really slow and non helpful. Asked for a receipt the answer I got was "are you serious".....I say no more

Hubby and me went here on Wednesday lunchtime as we were shopping on the retail park and he wanted a quick fix. I was surprised that they still hadn't gone digital. There were no self-service kiosks so we queued, ordered and paid at the counter. Hubby said his basic cheese burger (quarterpounder) was ok. His large fries and tea were up to standard. I wasn't hungry so I just had a regular drink of tea. The total bill cost just over £6 (contactless card payments accepted). The dining area and toilets were clean and tidy even though it was very busy.

Visited on Sat 4th May as we were just looking for a quick snack.

Worst McDonald’s ever. Would drive to junction over here every time. The last three happy meals have had 3 nuggets in them rather than four! Today they send me away with a happy meal that contained only two packets of small fries! Always cold. Always tastes like rubber. Always waiting for ages. Sort your game out McDonald’s because your rubbish. Don’t eat here. Go to the Junction or KFC. Nasty food dozy staff

i,ve been coming here every sat morning for the past two years the service has only been a bit slow ONCE in that time and the staff are ALWAYS nice. Good for Them. i DON,T often give reviews but...this one is well deserved. i ALWAYS have the sausage muffin breakfast, lovely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Disgusting stale chips and rubbery burger. We usually use the MacDonalds in Llandudno junction. Food is so much nicer and more fresh. Every time and I mean EVERYTIME we come here they get our order wrong . Don’t waste your money!!! Go to the junction one instead !!

Hubby and me went here for our lunch yesterday (Wednesday) as we were shopping on the retail park. I ordered and paid (contactless) at the counter. The total bill came to £11.28. The helpful young girl gave us the hot drinks (2 teas) on a tray and said she would bring the food over to our table. This she did quite quickly considering how busy they were. I thought my BBQ bacon & crispy chicken wrap was OK and the fries were as standard. Hubby was looking forward to the recently advertised grand Big Mac with bacon but he said it was quite dry and over-filled with lettuce shreds. His fries were OK. The toilets were clean enough to use.

I visited Llandudno today and a member of staff called Emma is the worse manager I have ever come across when I complain she dealt with me in a very unprofessional way and I’m quite shocked macdonlds has not give better training at how to deal with unhappy customers.

Went this morning for a quick breakfast.... The food was awful, the bacon could have been rivived by a good vet, the fillings are minimal and most of all the staff were so slow it was unbelieveable even to the point of handing me the bag the guy took an eternity.... Been going down hill for a long time this place but I have always persevered as I love macdonalds but not sure I'll be going back

Visited with my 3 kids after watching Cinderella in venue cymru (was really good) walked in to be greeted with a strong smell of SICK even my 6 year old said “dad it smells of sick I don’t want anything “ put us all off luckily we hadn’t ordered so cannot comment on the food

Tom who served us was absolutely fantastic! He served us with a lovely smile. He looked like he very much enjoyed his job. He took the time to speak with us and went the extra mile. He knew what he was doing and made us feel very welcome. He even delivered our order to our table which he did not need to do.

Still continuing to poison their customers with undercooked cold fries, still throwing burgers into the boxes and serving them cold, still assembling chicken wraps blindfolded and putting way too much of the hot sauce on, in order to deter customers from ordering the "wrap of the day"! The management are rude and aggressive and should be replaced, as they refuse to replace bad food!

Says 24hr but thats only for drive through no idea when shuts inside, gets really busy and no screens for quicker ordering, which seems needed in a busy holiday destination.

Popped in for a takeaway. Ideal parking. Also a drive thru. Food was cooked fresh and pipping hot. Price reasonable. Plenty of staff, polite. Busy place. Recommended.

Came in to order some food to take out, and the restaurant itself was shocking. Seats ripped, stunk, no ordering machines, and it put me off my food. Just drive to another McDonald’s.

Me, and my two other friends in the car were ordering food and could tell the guy serving us was new but he was really struggling and no one was there to help him so we asked if someone else was able to take our order. ( in a nice a manor ) We had finished our order and then another person came on saying ‘what do you want’ ( in a rude manor ) and we were confused as we had already given it and he was very rude due to we had no idea what was going. And ROWAN ( the manager ) kept laughing at us and sooooo rude it was disgusting.

This particular McDonalds is two things, 1. Without question the worst McDonalds I’ve ever visited 2. Consistent,....consistently rubbish every single time. Only drove thru today for an iced coffee “how can they get that wrong? I thought. Well the iced coffee was the consistency of a thick milkshake, didn’t taste of coffee and the plastic cup was split so it leaked everywhere. This place needs shutting down.

Just visited McDonald’s in Llandudno to pick up a takeaway. This McDonald’s is consistently below average but managed to exceed its low standards today. My big tasty burger was anything but, it was old and so dried out it was stuck to the box! Fries were soggy and cold. Would definitely not recommend- what a waste of money, after one bite it went straight in the bin!

Nothing wrong with the resturant. But the seagulls queuing outside waiting for the left overs need controlling.

I had the affront to complain about service and was told,"don't come here then" I could not believe my ears.

Came for breakfast. They got my order totally wrong. By the time I realised and went back they had stopped serving breakfast so wouldn't re do my order. They offered me a normal meal instead but with it being 10.40, didn't want chips and a burger.

Popped in for a coffee and a cheesy bacon flatbread, the service was efficient and quick, food as you would expect.

Very busy on a Saturday afternoon and as no self service machines we all formed an orderly queue. Everyone was served in turn and the food handed overly quickly. Good all round.

Arrived was very busy so used the easy ordering computers there were 6 of us but we found seating very quickly. And awaited our food. Quick service and the food was really enjoyable we ordered 6 x the new big Big Mac meals and we were all full by the time we finished the toilet were very clear and well stocked the tables were clean and the recycling areas tidy

I asked for a plain cheeseburger bit instead they gave me a cheese burger with onions and pickles like i didn’t ask for pickles i asked for plain /not much seating chips are well nice

Called in one evening only because it was almost empty we went to separate tills on the hope we would get our burgers made how we want them without it confusing them but still they got both burgers made wrong, could be very dangerous for people with serious allergy issues so they really should get it right, place looked in desperate need of a makeover. Rated it average as this sort of service does seem very average these days in McDonald's.

Went in here at 12.45pm with my son for lunch. Expected it to be busy, so waited 10 mins for a seat to become availible. When we went to sit down a member of staff told us that a lady who had just come in was going to sit there as she was in a wheelchair. No alternative offered to us at all, even though we had been waiting for a seat. We left and went else where to eat where we were treated much better. WE WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THERE AGAIN. AWFUL SERVICE FROM STAFF AND VERY RUDE AS WELL.

Come in this morning for breakfast order before 10.30 and a nother lady order her food my chap had his told to wait bring it out waited 5 mins went back up they had stopped the breakfast staff need to sort them self out not good anuff had me money back but it's not the point I had to do with out breakfast this place is a joke let's just say I will never ever go there again bad staff so rude

The coffee and the service was as good as ever. I visited very early in the morning so speed of service was not an issue. But there were no newspapers, which I am used to in my local McDonalds and no separation of cups, and plastic, which is also something my local had.

I walked I stressd and misrable but was greeted by such a kind, friendly and helpful memeber of staff I took note of the name on his badge. When I got back to my car I told my daughter how nice he had been, without mentioning his name she instantly knew who it was . . . And so did 2 of her friends!! Id say that speaks volumes!! Pretty decent food and service. We all ate here whilst working in the area. Nice hot fresh food nothing bad to say.

McDonald's is all about product flow and getting as many paying customers through their restaurants as possible. However today's visit was excellent with the service team all very friendly and helpful. The food was very nice too.
