I got served soggy fries and chicken selects. The amount of maltesers in the mini malteser is negligibly low. They have table service and that is good. Lots of people eating so it must be good but just disappointed about cold and soggy fries and chicken selects.

A month ago, ordered a McMuffin as usual. It came with adult size sausage, egg and one size of bread but with another bread in kid size. I requested to change it to get a normal size bread so that both sizes are matched. Finally it’s ridiculously that they gave me another kid size egg and bread to match with the original kid size bread. I’m explored and just made a refund. Never go back to this shop again

They ALWAYS ALWAYS AND ALWAYS FORGETTING SOME PART OF MY PRDER today they forgot my two apple pies and deliveroo don't refund my money it's really embarrassing .

I do like McDonald's but it's always cold even more so if you have it delivered great for kids tho

There are so many people at McDonald's during lunch time. As expected, there seems to be no similar franchise anywhere in the world as McDonald's, and it is a double-edged sword. But the price seemed more expensive. Still, it's perfect for a casual meal.

I have only used the drive through and it's always mega quick. Not sure if it's just good luck or it is actually quick but I haven't had any complaints so far

McDonalds do good burgers. the problem is if you get it delivered its always cold by the time it arrives. I live a few minutes from this place but its still cold by the time it gets here. the fries are always undercooked aswell. in my dining experience at McDonalds you get the best meal when you eat in the restaurant. since this one opened I've had some real dodgy deliverys missing items, wrong orders completely and badly cooked food but I order from here frequently and have had some great orders too.

They are sometimes very slow in getting orders out to customers inside do more for delivery and drive though. I have waited 20 minutes in the past

You can be the only one in the drive-thru queue and they'll still send you to the bays to wait. Today they sent me there and they were full, meaning I either had to block people behind me or go park up anyway (I could have done that in the first place). I landed up parking and when I went to the bays they had four bags, so they clearly knew they'd sent four cars to three bays. Regularly miss items or get them wrong, meaning you need to check pretty much there and then or you'll have to return later to tell them something is missing (or just give up and cut your losses). The addition of the McDonald's has also made traffic on the roundabout much worse, so overall this has been a terrible mistake for the local community. There are excellent independents in the area, my fault really for being a bit lazy instead of parking up and going elsewhere. Won't be making it anymore.

Always find this particular branch to be very clean and the staff are very friendly. My order today was delicious which I don't say too often about McDonalds as the food usually tastes the same every time.

Drinks spilled into the cardboard holder, I asked if they can be replaced, the assistant just looked shocked that I asked !!! Why ? She should have just done that automatically with out me asking....she only changed the lids, we didn't notice until we got back into the car the drinks were only half full.

The food is always fresh, and my daughter is always happy with the food here in Selly Oak. The service is also good. Cannot comment on the atmosphere as we do the drive through. I'd definitely recommend this McDonald's over the rest. Hot fresh food and on the odd occasion the fries haven't met my standards, they have provided fresh fries!

My order for the mighty muffin with ketchup excluded the egg and sausage and after a remake then excluded the ketchup to which the manager then passed me a ketchup tub and here you go! I’ll ensure to avoid this McDonald’s from now on. Awful manager and service!

Lovely people on drive through recommended

It is located in an open area within Selly Oak Shopping Centre. They offer you a great environment with a great team👏👏👏👏👏All employees are respectful, polite, caring and helpful towards all customers. I can say that it is one of the best Mc Donalds branches I have seen. If you happen to be there, I definitely recommend you to stop by. Manager Jamie, Amy and Ka Yee were very helpful and friendly. Thank you very much👏👏👏👏👏No parking problem. It has an open area. It is extremely hygienic and well-maintained. They are constantly cleaning. All tables have electrical outlets. It is quite suitable for resting and having a snack. I had a nice time. Thanks to the whole team :))) I will visit again.

It's horrendous with the cars going into the drive-through, and when you leave, you have to drive through car parks and get stuck in all the traffic. Go Longbridge or Northfield.

I asked for extra of something, to find my food doesn't have any filling it's sposed to as standard let alone the extra I paid for. Drive through is possibly the worst I've been to. Rude dismissive staff look at you like they are annoyed by your presence. Avoid.

Quite busy today asking two o'clock. Found a deal on the order machine. Three for the pound with plenty of choices. Made the trip with the grandson much cheaper.

Such a hit and miss branch. It’s always 50/50 recently that we actually get the right order. The amount of times we have ordered a cheese burger and got a mayo chicken?🤣 Ordered a drink with no ice and got ice (not a big deal i know, but still it’s a customer request). I work in a place where we have to read whats on the receipt and go get things for customers (as a click and collect) and we get complaints when somethings wrong, and it makes sense you pay for something and get something you didnt ask for? Valid right? We have just ordered: 2 mcflurrys, 1 malteser, 1 biscoff and 2 cokes, no ice. we got: 2 cokes WITH ice 1 malteser mcflurry 1 smarties… Like okay got no biscoff then let us know and ill ask for an alternative, but we got half way home and i realised it wasn’t the right one. Just frustrating. Before someone says to go back and change it or why didn’t you check before leaving. 1) we was practically home. there was no point in wasting more fuel for a £1.99 mcflurry that we was probably gonna just get attitude over changing. 2) Shouldn’t really have to check before food goes out the window to our car. Surely thats part of training that if you’re on drive through you have to double check the items on the receipt match whats in the bag, and going to the correct car.

Decent and friendly inside but almost everytime we get delivery the food is stone cold by the time they get here, We live further away from other places we order from and never have an issue with the temperature. Called up once after our delivery driver cancelled after not moving for 30 mins just to let them know that our food is going to probably be cold and they said, in their own words, that it’s not their problem to deal with its Ubers. Uber then told us the restaurant should not have left our food out to be taken by a driver after the time elapsed 🙃🙃

Absolutely awful experience food was ordered via just eat it says was delivered. It never came made 3 hungry people not happy. No answer from phone call made to restaurant many times. Took over 48 hours to get refund.

Very good food, the fries are all hot and crunchy and the burgers are both warm and delicious😋.

Kept clean and staff are helpful. Atmosphere is quite active as it's quite popular with a cross section of University of Birmingham students who live in nearby hostels, secondary students (during term time between 4-5p and families. The latter is the largest group and tends to include one parent/guardian and two to three children. Drive thru is quite busy and there are waiting bays.

As always McDonald's is a good idea if you want something quick and tasty. We love their Mcflurrys

had 2 orders from the mcdonalds app in the last week. both missing items, in 1 case an entire meal. both had instructions for elements to be left off burgers ignored. called the store and they are next to useless as far as helping goes. clearly they do their best to hire only the most useless and illiterate possible

Come this shop all the time if want some breakfasts, the lady in the drive through give me two black peppers, I asked can I have more, she told me two is maximum. Is this the company policy please confirm as I always can have more as it is very small. The black pepper is not important I just do not like the attitude of someone working there, if you do not want there, please just quit, give to someone who like the job.

I am actually shocked with the level of customer service. The food was never great there. One of the worst Mc I have tried but today they reached the bottom. So I downloaded the Mc app and placed my order and the app chose the closest pick up point which was Selly Oak Mc. The app showed that it is 24/7 and accepted my order. It showed also that I should go to collect my order which I did. I came to the door with couple of lads clearly confused of what was going on as the door was closed. Some girl came to the door and we tried to communicate through closed door. I showed her my app through the glass and told her I was there to pick up my order. She made some hand gestures showing they are closed. I was like hold on, I placed the order, the app sent me here, what is going on? I weren't sure if I'm charged for it or not (hopefully not, that is what the app says but it also told me that they are open 24/7). The manager came to the door, she didn't have decency to open door to talk to me, she didn't bother at all, she made sure door is closed and... left. She should be fired with an immediate effect. A customer is there, clearly confused, your app sent her to your place and you dont speak to her but close the door and leave?! She should open the door and say we are very sorry there must be an error in the app, we will make sure it is corrected, but this branch is closed now, you won't be charged, dont worry. She hardly looked at me and left. I said "that is it? you leave me like this?". And a man came, looked like a delivery man, also from inside and started shouting and swearing at me through the glass that I still wanted anything. I said I had paid and i wanted my meal. He was shouting so i left also shouting back as i was shocked. I werent charged but it was the manager's duty to tell me this and not to ignore me. Absolutely appaling. How on Earth you can treat your customer like this? I am also a human. Happy New Year.

It was a Friday evening so the drive-thru was busy, that's okay. It was busy inside too. I ordered a Diet Coke, it tasted like it came to the bottom of the box as it was like Soda but I pulled off and couldn't tell them. It's McDonald's. It's nice.
