McDonalds in Rushmoor

Like most OAP grandparents I help out my with daughters child care once a week. On the 2nd October I arranged to meet up with my daughter and her 2 other grandchildren at McDonalds Aldershot. The idea was as well as dropping off the youngest grandchild and a large Lego table we could celebrate the middle one’s Birthday. We arrived before the others and purchased some food and coffee and waited. My daughter arrived with the other children a little delayed as she has to run between schools. We then purchased food and drinks for a second time for the children. One of the children then had to go off for an after school club and so my daughter left us to watch the two other Grandchildren whilst she dropped her off. The service was a little slow and the restaurant was not busy and so the remaining children were still eating their food. My daughter then returned and we left from the drop off and we left. I then received a parking ticket from Met parking Services for overstaying the 90min limited by 18 minutes. Well what has this to do with McDonalds I hear you ask its the over Parking Company matter. I think it kind of is. McDonalds are the ones who contract out to Met Services and so must have had a say in the terms that are set. How many times as parents do we say to our children please don’t rush your food. Now it appears to be please hurry or Grandpa will get a ticket. I fully understand the argument that can be had about it being a deterrent to others not to block spaces. But in this incidence it was not the case. The car park was half empty and maybe if my daughter had stayed with her. The fact she left and we stayed watching the Grandchildren car we took up the one parking space. There is no way that I will repeat the mistake off thing is anymore than a take away as they have lost a customer. Please others be aware.

We were driving someone invited to a birthday party at this place. We dropped off the person in this filthy place. We decided to order. The ordering big tablet is non responsive. After a few frustrating minutes, we got the order through, we took our food, inside the car we found out we were given wrong food. The place needs a good clean.

Yes I know it's McDonald's, but I can honestly tell you after eating these all over the UK and other parts of the world as well, this is actually probably the best one I've been to. Maybe some of those other reviews are people with grudges against the company. Don't know. All I can say is when I am looking to buy a McDonald's,This is the place I want to go.

Not being funny but the more I order from here the worse it gets. If the chips aren’t half full, the food is either cold or incorrect. If they actually remember the dips you pay for it’s like finding a unicorn who poops rainbows. Just once could I get what I ordered and it be correct and hot and actually have the dips I paid extra for.

It would be nice if the items actually looked remotely like the photos. More care needed on presentation , I know its only McDonalds BUT come on !

The service was fast abs the food was hot and fresh, the restaurant was very busy but was managed well and the experience overall was excellent

I always find their fries a bit droopy when visiting them at peak times. I guess they cook them in bulk well in advance of peak hours so they can meet demand, but the end result is a poorly cooked and uninspiring product. Avoid visiting during peak hours and you should be fine!

Ordered 4 meals and every one was cold.. very disappointing! And thus isn't the first time this has happened from this one

Asked for no tomatoes on my burger so they put extra lettuce on instead absolutely shocking service and only half a cup of drink

So the Drive through sucks paid for chicken selects which they charged me for and didn't bother too actually pack. I got the sweet chilli sauce though with nothing too go with it.and put mayonnaise ketchup and lettuce in my son's chicken legend even though the label on the wrapper even said only ketchup every time we go there missing something from our order and still charged for it!

food was average but it is maccy D's after all never going to be any good, to many kids loitering around so decided to leave, the staff did nothing to stop them messing about. wont be going back.

Ordered food and was served quickly. However, Burgers and chips were lukewarm. Returned to main counter and staff member apologised and arranged replacement order. I would expect the replacement food to arrive hot... no, still lukewarm. Didn't bother to complain again as what was the point??? 'Fast food' should mean 'food fast' hot should be expected.

We preordered our food.. we were there in time but as no one was willing to help they didn’t give us our breakfast just one of the drinks.. since the app says they know where you are they would have known we were in the building! Then the staff were just rude! We then ordered from the normal menu.. the food was dry and disgusting but didn’t feel we could approach the rude staff about it. Was later going to contact customer service but then got a review thing sent through. Filled that out and got a response.. messaged back and forth but then they decided to not esolve the situation either and stopped communication.. so much for keeping the customers happy! Then got another review form about how things were handle.. obviously I put they weren’t but in more detail.. again heard nothing back.. absolutely disgusted by the way we have been treated in this whole scenario and now plan to take this much further. Have never had such a bad experience with McDonald’s and then to follow up it’s it being dealt with so horrendously is just shocking. NOT ACCEPTABLE! I do hope they will compensate correctly when I get to the right person.. what’s happened to customer services these days. They may be doing all this fancy stuff to their restaurants but that’s no good if the staff and food are awful is it and if the customers are not getting what they should to the standard it should be.

Nothing to say about the food. It's McDonalds. However the service is very poor. They messed up my order multiple times and refused to refund for the missing items. Avoid if you can.

Service is slow, nobody comes to counter Had to ask to place my order not use to this service or lack off

This place is always spotlessly clean and all of the people who work there are lovely! Food is usually good. Occasional missing items but they are always quick and happy to rectify. Good amount of ipads and table games for the kids to enjoy.

It’s McDonalds so not a lot else to say! Tables were clean, floor was tidy, staff were helpful but quiet. Didn’t use the toilet facilities so can’t comment on the cleanliness. Our food wasn’t piping hot but warm enough we could eat straight away (which is very important to impatient kids ) was an ideal pit stop whilst we waiting for paperwork to be completed across the road

On seeing the long queue in the drivethru, I decided to order inside at the order point using my payment card. After selecting my choice and paying by card the takeaway food was available within ten minutes. The food was piping hot and just as I had ordered. An excellent value for money meal with French fries and a drink to go with the quarter-pounder cheese burger. Have used before and will use again when hunger strikes unexpectedly. Not a high end food seller but very tasty!

I’m not really sure what possessed me to offer a convenient lunch for my kids and I. Lukewarm food taken home and eaten virtually cold, what’s to like?
