McDonalds in Aberdeenshire

If you love cold chips that have been sitting for hours this is the place to be! Sometimes if you’re lucky you get a fresh meal. Better off just asking for a medium meal as they never fill the large chips box up (see photo) , if you ask for a cola make sure to take a sip first before you leave because it will likely be diet. Also if you like ice make sure to check it as they often forget this. You usually pay for sauce and then when you leave the drive through you have to run back into get it.

I am a MacDonalds regular, use the app a lot. So tried to spend some of my 49500 pts. App allowed order to go thru. When I went to collect. 90% of the order was cancelled as out of stock. Manager was rude and unhelpful. As order cancelled had to go into restaurant to order so cost 3 times the app order cost. Before 7:30pm on a Saturday no qtr pounders, no McSpicy, only strawberry shakes, no chicken sandwich and a few other things that weren’t on my order were also out of stock. What a shambles. I will not visit that one ever again.

Noticed staff prepping food with no gloves on was told they have a 30 min wash hand policy still not good enough should wear gloves extremely unhygienic

The place was very busy and the staff didn't seem to know what they were doing! The car park was a nightmare, both to get in and get out! If it hadn't been a promise to our grand-daughter we'd have left without anything! She was pleased with her meal - only reason for thge rating!

Popped in here on route to Peterhead Prison (their cafe was closed due to a burst pipe). Staff were very diligent when we arrived to ensure we were seated socially distanced. Restaurant was kept clean and food was hot and tasty. Friendly staff.

Lovely experience, and great food, give Scott a pay rise as he is most definitely your best employee and I’m a regular visitor.

McDonalds are the same everywhere and you get what you pay for. Kids love it and the daily wrap is an excellent deal. Always like my visits here as the staff are gr

Quick Pit Stop for Lunch. Usually very busy at lunch times. The tables are always kept clean and tidy by the friendly staff who always speak. Can't beat a McDonalds for lunch!

Driving along Peterhead's bypass, we stopped here for supper (8.20pm).Clearly seen, with automatic opening doors, to again, a clean and tidy environment. Excellent staff, going about their employment in an efficient and professional manner.Our enjoyable meal (apart from the luke warm chips) arrived very quickly.Fine surroundings, apart from the local large group of feral youths, who parked themselves opposite us. They were there before us and once we left, after 40 minutes, they were still there, clowning about, swearing and standing on the seats/chairs (which I reckon they won't be cleaning). Treating the establishment like a drop in centre. One of them did buy an ice cream during their stay. Maybe this is a usual occurrence at this establishment (we are just passers by), but the wee adults require a bit of parental guidance to help them.

I know it seems silly to visit a fast food restaurant we have in the USA whilst experiencing Scotland, but sometimes you just need a little familiarity. But let me say there are some big differences between the two. The choices in the UK are healthier than the USA, so kudos. If you are from the USA don't expect it to be exactly the same, it was "similar" and the reason why is their food is locally sourced. So more kudos! Condiments are slightly different and sodas are behind the counter. Controlling soda consumption is a health concern for the UK. The restaurant is extremely clean, the service is top notch. They seem to take pride in their jobs and it shows. Again, not something you experience in the USA. You will not get the minimum wage eye roll here. Do save room for a McFlurry with Flake! I am going to miss Flake!

Had to visit here 6/08/19 as we were in a hurry and been let down in a nearby restaurant. Staff here were brilliant and very helpful, food was delivered to our table and was hot!

Visited this afternoon for afternoon tea with a friend.Had a very relaxing* time in comfortable surroundings enjoying a break.

We visit here about every two weeks for a snack and a drink and a chat with friends. Very handy car park and if full nearby street parking, also a drive through take away. Toilets provided too.
