McDonald's in Highland

The service is a disgrace asked 2 bacon rolls a coffee and a bannana milkshake so I said politely another bacon roll please but I was told to go f**kmyself I thought this was disgusting and once I opened my bacon roll I got one slice of bacon and some wobbly disgusting thing that should never have been there if your looking to have a nice morning ruined I highly suggest heading to macdonalds it’s brilliant place for it

Special mention to Mirella for being so kind and understanding with my autistic grandchild. It has been a lovely experience.

Arrived at 10:30ish and ordered a happy meal a big tasty meal and a wrap of the day. The wrap only had chicken and sauce no lettuce or anything else in the wrap Big tasty only had cheese on it no lettuce or sauce or anything else and the happy meal was good but I could over hear the workers laughing and joking about and saying if u want ur nuggets to come get them urself one of the managers was getting visibly annoyed at how long it was taking and other staff were just being difficult and talking back etc But the happy meal was bangin

I can’t speak highly enough of this restaurant, staff all lovely and helpful, prompt service with a smile, foods always piping hot and tasty, will definitely return

We ordered on the app but we got no napkins or sauces. This is not the first time this happened. A little more attention to detail would be fabulous.

We went through the drive thru and order 2 large meal - Double Quarter Pounder with cheese. 1 of the burgers we ordered was not to have onions, mustard, tomato sauce but it had them (still doesn't taste good even when its scrapped off), also it wasn't a Double Quarter Pounder. It only had 1 burger patty. Our drinks were meant to be large but we got medium instead.

Went at 11.50am so I thought everything would be fresh and hot but oh no, cold as usual. Now I don't have McDonalds very often as we live rural and todays shopping ran into lunch time, we have a family member we do shopping for in the town so decided to grab a meal as a treat and drove the 2 minutes to his house, and as usual meal cold. This seems a pattern in Fort William as other outlets around Britain generally are mostly hot but not in the Fort. Please please do better, surely its not that hard to produce hot food. Please dont reply with "Oh well you should have brought it back" , why to get another cold one.

I went to macdonalds for a family experience and was met with unadequate service and a rude woman who disallowed my child to drink his juice in the store. When I got my food after a 14 minute(I was timing) wait I was served a cold chesseburger with a cold to moderately medium temperature cheese burger with a eyelash inside and a cheese sauce witch i didn’t ask for and it had a fishy smell too it. All and all the kids went home crying and i had to shout at the wife for being annoying 👎

Got home to find chicken burger meal missing , double quarter pounder was a single and all sauces missing... ripped off again which is a yearly occurrence every time we ordered plus it was all stone cold... a disgrace and an embarresment to fort william

Ordered for whole family after a day hiking. Forgot our order. So I asked about it and the lady started sorting it. Got to car did a quick check. 20 nuggets and sharebox missing. Drove back to hotel and realised husbands big tasty also missing. Shocking service. Avoid.

Travelled from Aberchalder, around 44 miles ( another 44 back) and it's the worst meal we have ever eaten. Burger was cold and the fries looked like they had just defrosted out the freezer with no cooking. The lot went straight in the bin. How they could not see these were not cooked is beyond us and the queue was too big to even bother taking them back. Maybe they think if your going through the drive through they can serve you any old crap and your on your way happy or not. Glad KFC and Morrisons was next door for better food. Busy or not, no excuse for under cooked or cooked and left to go cold food.

I know mc Donalds from many contries but this was by far the worst. The chips was saggy and my chickenburger had no dressing. It was dry and just a few poor peaces of salad. No chans to complain since there were more customers than could fit in there. Its bad when cuantity goes before quality. Even If its fastfood. Dont eat here!

Got double quarter pounder plain opened box roll was soggy it was dripping in grease the box was soaking with it took it back got another one and exactly the same it was pouring out of it absolutely disgusting so once again took it back the man at till said because the burgers are so fresh today they are juicy yea really it is grease pouring out of it the roll is soaking so just put it in the bin the place was filthy some rude staff it really needs something doing to it

Back to chips being just warm. Burgers, never had anything hot. Asked for ice box to warm it up. Who wants just warm food. Being nice when I say warm.

I came to this restaurant with my family for a nice meal while travelling from Glasgow to Inverness to pick up a new car and we had a day to spare so we made a pit stop in fort William. Fort William is a lovely little town and we will visit again but we went to this McDonald’s at around 5pm for some dinner for me my 2 children and my lovely husband we went here at 5pm and we looked for some seats but all was filled up with school children from ages 11 and above I would say so we had to sit at the high tables with the tablets first of all these tablets are a lovely idea but they didn’t work while we where there and while we where there is stunk like a dead animal coming up the toilets or something like it. Talking about the toilets it was disgusting there was toilet paper all over the place and clogs the sinks and my husband took my son into the male bathroom and he said that the urinals where filled with toilet paper and chip rubbish. We orders out food at about 5.10 and it wasn’t made till 5.35 this is a shocking wait and I have put in a complaint to the head offices but when the food came it was really nice I have the wrap of the day my 3 year old son had a chicken nuggets happy meal my daughter had the 5 chicken selects and my hubs and had the 20x nuggets large chips with a plain double cheeseburger a large cola a cheese bits a McFlurry a coffee and also a small sprit the bill was not have bad for what we got but the service was not the best and an employee with red/ orange hair was too happy he seemed like he had something wrong with him and he even conned us into getting an apple pie my child who is 3 seemed a bit scary from him and he was off putting overall we will come back again if we need to but considering going somewhere else Thanks again Barb

Lovely area, cheap coffee, but seems dirty as the floor is an ice rink with grease probably from dirty mops. Didn’t order food because of that . Looks like it needs a good deep clean though out.

The smell of when I can only assume is raw sewage is abhorrent! I visited during late December and the smell was awful. I asked a member of staff and she said “we’re trying to get it fixed” although I was of the opinion the branch should’ve been closed until the problem was actually fixed I put it down to mismanagement and assumed a company as big as McDonald’s would fix the problem ASAP. Well, 1 month later and the smell is still as bad as before! Completely disgusting and unforgivable that this branch is still trading! I can guarantee the smell will kill your appetite (maybe not a bad thing). Otherwise generally speaking this branch is the worst that I know of. During the summer months I would avoid it as the entire establishment, kitchen size and staff levels are too small to deal with the crowds of tourists. You may have to literally fight just to get inside. This sounds like an over exaggeration but trust me it’s not! Fort William McDonald’s has got to be the smallest and busiest McDonald’s in the country!

What more can go wrong with this place!! For weeks this McDonald's has been stinking of sewage it stinks of sh**. The service is poor, the food is cold, everything always runs out, and some of the staff are simply rude. AVOID AVOID

We visited on 15 Aug, a quick pit stop on our journey north. McDs was busy, but the manager was brilliant at making sure people understood and adhered to the social distancing requirements. Toilets were spotless.

Fuimos a tomar el desayuno antes de comenzar nuestro viaje de 5 horas a casa el día después de escalar Ben Nevis. Tuve la envoltura del desayuno y un café. Una taza de café decente y la envoltura era deliciosa con tocino, huevo, marrón picadillo y salsa de su elección. Buen comienzo para nuestros días.
