McDonald's in Flintshire

It doesn't matter what time you go to this McDonald's, they never appear to have milkshakes or or frappés available. It could be sheer coincidence but I doubt it. Also, they never get the order right for drive thru. Regardless of time.

shocking service - we ordered a fair amount of meals, two of which being 'large 5 select meals'. the guy on the comms said to ask for dips at the end, so we did, to then be told by the woman that you have to pay extra for the sweet chilli dip? I'm almost certain you get those when you get a select meal, and if not, the guy on the Comms shouldn't have said what he said , completely ruined the meal for us

Crap but no choice American crap is all you can get

Drive through... Ordered 2 egg n sausage muffins with 2 hash browns... I get home to find no egg on either of them 👎... And the muffins were toasted way too much. Wow never again 😕

We arrive near 11pm and the place is empty, I order three meals for my sisters and myself, nothing complicated, a quater pounder meal, two cheeseburgers, a large fries and 6 mcnuggets. 25 minutes later we get our food. We were waiting so long that a queue formed, it was dead when we arrived and by the time we left there was about 9 cars lined up waiting for their food too. We get told that the grill has broken down so it's going to be a wait. No offer to refund our money just get told to wait. When the food comes out I check the bag and the have forgotten the cheeseburgers. Genuinely awful service.

Place is usually very busy. The only issue you have when you order through drive through they park you up to wait for your food a lot if the time.

Nice and clean, staff helpful,convenient location. Only problem is the double cheese burger meat was so thin I couldn't believe it. what are you playing at mcdonalds that was not value for money Im. Sorry, but it's not a burger anymore it's a bun with two small slices of meat in it. Bad bad bad👎

So, Micky Dee's...what can we say. Kinda prison food for us on the outside. Staff mooching like Trustees. The whole American service culture just dies the death and morale creeps along like swamp water. Limp chips flop warm among their partially upright cell mates. Burgers, slip between buns riding an oily lake of sauce and transparent over heated lettuce. Thick shakes, Coke, swim on sugar and fat. And the drive thru queue sits interminably, just to speak into a faceless mechanical grill, no welcome, no smile, no joy, just move along to cough up at the next window where a girl, looks fourteen, dressed in grey fatigues, offers you the card machine while already talking to the next victim. Her manager leers around, has sauce on the white shirt, and seems forbidding. I recommend.

I normally like everything when I go there but today when I ordered a a £5 meal deal with chips, cheese burger, chicken nuggets and a drink but it didn’t come with chips

Shame the traveller kids ruin this place by being obnoxious and rude to anyone who goes there.

Absolutely awful .. never visiting again. Food not as advertised, portions were measly ,supposed "large" options ! Staff not interested in helping, computer stalled, orders wrong or missing . Just an awful experience.

Coke flat burger dry and cold chips cold burger just slapped together burger not even in the bap first and last time I,ll visit, big tasty used to be my fav but not any more

I was ordering Mcdonald's with my Family one of my orders came but they gave us empty bags and it was my birthday and that made me sad Another order we order Mcdonald's for Christmas eve but we had 4 drivers that cancelled the delivery but we did not order a lot of stuff If Mcdonald's see the review please fix this problem I am hungry and I want some Mcdonald's Thank you

I have been waiting for 20 minutes for my food and a guy drove in front of me and he ordered after me and he got his first not happy at all they could if done better but the food tastes good

Mold Macdonalds is horrendous and i was in the drive through order my meal for my partner & I. waiting over 20mins and car behind was not impressed either tooting his horn. My meal was wrong and was warm Staff are so slow there and too many young ones and need more older experience staff there to keep them working this is the 3nd time in the past few months and this is our treat before we start our night shift. We were late because of your staff .😡

The food was good but it was a bit dry and it was also a bit cold when we got it. The service was loud but it was good to know they were having a good time. The atmosphere was really quiet and calm but then when kids entered it was always really loud with them screaming.

Staff always friendly, usually have to wait on the drive through, I tried to keep it simple but it seems that they never have enough of anything ready to serve. Napkins must be on ration and not being able to ask for them by having to wait in the car park you mostly don’t get them.

Good staff really fast service. Overall very nice restaurant but people live in rubbish underneath tables and the very small restaurant so getting in that restaurant is very hard when it gets too busy hours over the very nice restaurant. I haven’t been here for ages and it’s very good and clean. The service was really fast and the food was really nice. Went today, hate the bin things now .

The toilet was enough to put me off eating in the food part it was absolutely disgusting if I wasn’t desperate to go to the toilet I would have not gone in at all

Food often takes 15 to 20 mins to arrive, order is often missing items and food is cool not hot when it arrives a lot of the time here.

Just bought some food including a "big tasty" burger meal. Well you really should be prosecuted under trades description. No cheese or tomato on this burger. It was a burger covered in a sloppy sauce. Need to do better. Expensive mistake

Utter woke nonsense. Waited 20 minutes for cold chips and I ask for a plain hamburger gave me a full cheese burger, dad wanted cheese burger with bacon but no mustard and pickles came with them, sister wanted them cheese bites payed for them didn’t get them and no milkshake and ice creams

Disgusting service asked for gerkins on burgers 3 times in the drive thru. No gerkins. Chips missing. Burger upside down. Manager proceeded to flip the mess burger the correct way with her bare hands!!! Gross

Pretty good McMuffins, order was correct and drinks tasted nice, would go again if in need of a quick breakfast while out.

got the chicken select and the chicken was pink. and i called and they sayd they can’t do anything about it but they can put my name down for a free meal on next order…… no ill be contacting food hygiene agency.

Place is dirty, floor is slippy felt greasy, toilets stink. Portion sizes on fries vary massively. Would not recommend

Appalling service in the drive through. Asked to park up, no spaces so ended up halfway down the car park. Meal was cold . Absolutely crap service. I don't even think it deserves a 1 star rating!! Not fast food

Parked up waiting for 2 happy meals. Waited about 10 minutes. Food was cold, I would assume it would be warm if I had to wait. Went last week for a hot hot chocolate, machine broken, asked for a milkshake, machine broken. Basically couldn't be bothered cleaning again. Absolute gash McDonalds. Staff are about 12. Visited again tonight 31st October, no wait and they had hot chocolate, woooo. Sat waiting for the already poured drinks whilst one girl with black hair swore at another staff member. Got the piping hot chocolate home and it was rank. It was basically brown water, nothing chocolate about it. This branch is a joke.

So annoyed, we got home with our takeaway to find all our 3 Sprite drinks were just like soda water. Obviously no syrup had been added! Tried to ring out of principal to tell them the problem thinking we would get a code to use next time for 3 Sprites but they just don’t answer the phone or reply to emails. Disgusting customer service to be treated this way. Puts me off going back there. Will go Broughton Park next time.

Possibly the worst McDonalds in the uk , they manage to make the food consistently terrible , cold and takes age. I’ve just received 2 cheesy bacon flatbread which have not been cooked at all. Staff are pretty rude to and clearly can’t be arsed doing their job properly. Go a55 McDonald’s instead only 5 minutes away.

So disappointing that reward system not available at Mold, Flint and A55 McDs. Free coffees no longer available. Extend rewards to ALL restaurants or reinstate the coffee reward system.

Waited for an hour to get served in the drive through! Still sat here now. I only want a bloody fillet of fish for gods sake.

Always waiting too long for a take away these days due uber eats or just eat. Half the time the shake Machine is Out of order

It is very frustrating, always an issue with the parking situation. The services is very slow, and regularly, there is one drive-through lane open. The pre-order app doesn't work, so that's a pain. As a whole, this is not a convient place to pick up food. And to add indult to injury, they regularly don't give you parts of your order... no happy meals for the kids etc....

Absolute joke. Sat for 20mins in the car park for them to come out and say that they had turned off the grills and the food wouldn't be ready for another 10mins. Then they didn't even bring out the entire order.

Terrible experience and an accident waiting to happen. I'll mention first that the McDonalds is at the entrance to a busy Aldi carpark. There are only about 2 parking spots for pick ups on the McDonalds site. There was a queue for the drive through but i was already in it before I realised how long the queue was. They then put a cone in place to stop others joining the queue but this meant that anyone turning in had to reverse out of a tight position and backwards into the filter road serving the Aldi car park. When I got to the hatch no-one mentioned that there was a long wait they just asked me to park up. There were waiting cars parked up everywhere. It was dark and the car park has no lighting. Because they weren't telling people how long the wait was cars were parking up as close to McDonalds as they could and not necessarily in proper parking bays. The staff were coming out with crates full of orders and rushing around a dark car park looking for registration numbers. They were wearing dark clothes and couldn't be seen dodging between parked cars and rushing across the flow of traffic. This has to be a safety hazard. At the very minimum they should be wearing hi-viz jackets. After 25 mins I went into the store and asked for a refund. The staff were pleasant enough but were under pressure. They found my order amongst several waiting to go out to the car park. I took it but there was an item missing and the chips were cold and not salted at all. Someone else commented that they had been waiting 45 mins for their order. The bad service is one thing but the risk to the staff dodging around the car park in dark clothing is a serious failure and an accident waiting to happen.

Ordered a meal on the drive thru, got home to find a the bag only had fries in. There are only 2 items to go in the bag and you for get one! It's happened a few occasions now where items are missing, suppose it's my own fault for not checking.

Really enjoyed the food at this macdonalds hot and freshly cooked, first visit to this particular restaurant, will definitely visit again.

McDonald's in mold flintshire was below average very very poor will not be returning...

Once again picked up order and muffin had no sausage just a egg no cheese how can you get it wrong unbelievable this place is getting worse going to Gregg's from now on

I have visited the drive through at this restaurant on a number of occasions and after a 15 minute queue been told that there are no McFlurrys or milkshakes. On my last visit they also stated that there was no special menu burgers! I would question how this restaurant is managed.

got a mcdonald’s delivered to my house very fast when it came it was cold the chips were half full as seen in pictures and didn’t come with sauce when paid for it got a burger cold got a chocolate milkshake melted but still cold, is a nice place but if you get it delivered to your house them would recommend heating it up?!

Chips are never salted and usually a bit soggy, otherwise food is decent. Service can be a bit slow and drive thru is commonly closed, but staff are friendly and usually trying their best.

We were driving a medium-sized rental van and it was a tight squeeze using the drive through! No tissues, salt or pepper were supplied.

Literally the slowest service in the world.

Friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. Nicki was superstar.

This Maccies has always been a good one, but the last couple of days we've had items missing from drive-thru orders and then the app (stupidly) does not let you do anything about that. They don't exactly seem to be rushed either - new staff perhaps? Either way, the app is pathetic.

Absolutely dreadful - parking nightmare, really dirty and most toilets out of order. Managers should be ashamed for the state of this restaurant - will never return

Literally anything you order you’ll be getting parked up

Visited this branch today for a birthday treat, and upon using the self service checkout was told I could have takeout only, that was ok but then no receipt was printed after purchasing. Waited for almost 10 minutes for my order to be ready, and then once sat somewhere away from the restaurant to eat, some of my order wasn't even placed in the bag. I needed to catch my bus so couldn't go back to sort this out, but considering the large amount of staff something like this shouldn't have happened. It's definitely a case of too many cooks spoil the broth in my opinion, and I doubt I will use this branch again due to the error.

So slow here. It's meant to be fast food!!

Convenient location. Trouble is now that they prioritise deliveries over on site customers. Winds me up! They should have a Mcdonalds kitchen on industrial estates just to service online orders, this would then free up the restaurants, at the same creates more jobs.

My chips were lukewarm and stale not nice. Burger was good. No table service so everyone just had ti stand and wait for food and no receipts for your food so don’t forget your number

Went to McDonald's tonight on way home ordered chicken nuggets with my order suprise suprise missing put the dips in but no nuggets what has happened to the managers in this place the young kids are running around and haven't seen one manager no wonder people are not getting the orders I will try and find out how you can complain to McDonald's head office because this franchise is a joke and putting McDonald's name to shame every time you complain no reply awful service.

Ordered to get delivered. My delivery was accepted and cancelled 1.5 hours later.... what a joke.

We've been about 3 times this year, and they've gotten the order wrong every single time: no milk in the coffee, nuggets instead of tenders, wrong sauces, etc. More hassle than it's worth.

One of the worst mcdonalds, the food is always below average (soggy cold chips and burgers) orders are wrong every other time. Will be driving to Broughton in future as the staff are more switched on and food is consistently better and actually edible

Ordered food through the McDonald's app, half the order was missing upon delivery, No one answers the phone to help in store, Uber refused to refund me as it's "against their policy". Travelled to the store itself and was told it's also against their policy to provide me with a refund. Wouldn't even provide me with the items I was missing. That's theft in my books, how can you allow a customer to pay for an item/service then not provide it?

Just had the worst meals and drinks we've ever had and, given this is McDonalds, that's a pretty high bar to have reached. The 'fizzy' drinks were completely flat, without ice and tasted wholly unlike Coca-Cola whilst the fries were cold and tasted like what I imagine eating cardboard must be like. I always expect the worst when I visit this place and they constantly manage to exceed those expectations.

It’s getting WORSE!!! For the love of my sanity please at some point can you get 1 order in my life time right??? Lovely little “Maccies” staff and well trained and efficient in their roles. Maccies is a treat so always goes down a treat. Clean and Tidy. Noticed staff are happy to stand chat with their Customers. Don’t get that in my other places. Branch could be a bit bigger especially when it gets busier

Poor in general even for a mcdonalds. Extremely long wait for food and have had to go back multiple times due to my order being wrong.

Ordered on the McDonald’s app from here, missing chicken nuggets when we tried to call nobody picked up the phone we called 3 times with no response, fuming want my food and money back, won’t be ordering from here again.

Food took ages to be delivered. Terrible quality, cold leathery chips that had been cooked an hour before being delivered. No ice in drinks, no straws, no apple pies as ordered; lettuce on burger even though asked for none. Burgers tepid and slapped together. Every time we order there are things missing and staff won’t take any responsibility

I decided to use the rewards to buy a double sausage and egg McMuffin. The server did not know how to redeem the points and I was left waiting for 30 minutes for this situation. The server was new, so he is not to blame. What the problem is, is that when the server went to his manager for help, she replied by saying 'I'm too busy'. Wow just wow, a manager is too busy to assist a new member of staff with a problem in processing a customers order. Eventually the matter was sorted out by a staff trainer.

Food was decent. Not too cold nor too warm. However I was slightly appalled by the man in a white shirt who I believe is a manager. I’m quite in shock on how a manager would bother behaving this way. He was immature and not focused on his workspace or his employees. Reported a missing item and he ignored me the first time. Second time he sorted out the issue however didn’t do so in a polite manner. This man had brown hair and glasses and a hand tattoo.Although the food was nice, customer service needs a little bit of work.

Last time i was Parked up for 20 mins for 2 breakfast meals, they also forget the sauce you ask for or order and pay for. You have to go in and get it after being parked up for ages

Bought 2 sausage and egg mc muffin meals. She'll in both of the eggs. Nothing worse than crunching into shell. Put me and my son off. We just had the drinks couldn't be bothered driving back. £15 wasted. Should of gone to the local cafe at least we would of ate.

The staff I felt went above and beyond to make my visit a good 1. They were very helpful and as I rarely come here, made the ordering easy for me to use. My Grandsons loved it too. I will definitely bring them again.

we ordered the 3 for 3 and only got half the order, food was stale almost cold, literally couldn’t of messed it up anymore.

The staff are not able to follow a basic list, and regularly miss things off of your order. They need to employ a member of staff who can read. £5 for chicken nuggets that weren't in the bag. Utter disgrace.

No meet and greet by staff at the collection point, staff looked miserable . Toilets were absolutely filthy and couldn’t use them and restaurant was filthy with food and rubbish everywhere.

25 minutes to get your order via the drive through when only 3 cars in the queue. Got home, order was wrong. Awful.

Am fed up of ordering from this store and having items missed off. This is literally the 5th time I have ordered for delivery and had to reorder an item again because it was missed off, paying delivery twice. There is noone answering the phone from McDonalds or Uber eats to try and get a refund. Terrible service. Will never order from them again. Awful service.

I went to McDonald’s at around 5 past 7 and left at about 7:45 inside was super busy only paying attention to the drive through and just eat and people doing deliveroo when my food came out and went up the street home less than 3 minute drive the Big Mac was cold and the chips also , and the milkshake was watery like banana flavoured water and I discovered a ginger hair in my food and I was put off and had to put all my food into the bin and also felt nauseous later on about 30 minutes after . I am the opposite of satisfied and will not be eating there again and luckily a kfc and Greggs have just opened ( they were better before this awful experience ) I recommend not eating at this McDonald’s

Miserable staff, can't get an order right and full of teenagers that aren't eating and swearing Infront of our kids. How McDonald's can get bad customer service and still trade is beyond me. The Chicken Sandwich came without cheese which I paid an additional 40p for, missing paid sauces and missing children's meal. Waited nearly 15 minutes for someone to talk to, to get this fixed and by then my chicken sandwich as even colder!! No offer to replace the food that they messed up on! Stewart Williams, you need to get a grip of your staff!!

It was a McDonald's. For a McDonald's it was a 5 star as I received exactly what I expected. But just because it's a McDonald's it has to be a 3.
