McDonald's in Flintshire

I went to McDonald’s at around 5 past 7 and left at about 7:45 inside was super busy only paying attention to the drive through and just eat and people doing deliveroo when my food came out and went up the street home less than 3 minute drive the Big Mac was cold and the chips also , and the milkshake was watery like banana flavoured water and I discovered a ginger hair in my food and I was put off and had to put all my food into the bin and also felt nauseous later on about 30 minutes after . I am the opposite of satisfied and will not be eating there again and luckily a kfc and Greggs have just opened ( they were better before this awful experience ) I recommend not eating at this McDonald’s

Miserable staff, can't get an order right and full of teenagers that aren't eating and swearing Infront of our kids. How McDonald's can get bad customer service and still trade is beyond me. The Chicken Sandwich came without cheese which I paid an additional 40p for, missing paid sauces and missing children's meal. Waited nearly 15 minutes for someone to talk to, to get this fixed and by then my chicken sandwich as even colder!! No offer to replace the food that they messed up on! Stewart Williams, you need to get a grip of your staff!!

Good staff really fast service. Overall very nice restaurant but people live in rubbish underneath tables and the very small restaurant so getting in that restaurant is very hard when it gets too busy hours over the very nice restaurant. I haven’t been here for ages and it’s very good and clean. The service was really fast and the food was really nice.

It was a McDonald's. For a McDonald's it was a 5 star as I received exactly what I expected. But just because it's a McDonald's it has to be a 3.

Very convenient to have a breakfast

Food is always pretty good. Sometimes cold chips but it is what it is. But I don't think an order I've placed has been 100% correct. It's either missing items, or a big tasty with bacon, without bacon. Big Mac no pickles? Has pickles on it despite it being on the instructions. Very very frustrating

Dreadful experience lost £15 due to inedible food that arrived stone cold. Neither McDonald's or Uber Eats will accept responsibility for it. NEVER use Uber eats, stupidly, I keep giving them second chances and they mess it up EVERY time. You think "it will be fine this time" IT NEVER IS!

Convenient drive through. Not somewhere I go too normally so cannot compare or judge.

The kitchen looked more cramped than an apple workshop in china

No customer service here. Sat down and when someone came to give me my food they put it down and said nothing. Machine is always broke so you’ll never get a receipt. Food sometimes cold mainly the chips. Workers couldn’t even crack a smile.

Good good as always for McDonald's. Good coffee. Myself went for a little date and it was pleasant. The building was clean and staff checked in on us which was nice but different.

Consistently incapable of getting an order right. Food is often cold and inedible. They don’t know how to use a pen to check off items before handing to customers. A shambles of an outlet that really lets the brand down

They get the order correct every time, and food never cold. Drive thru fast and efficient. Easy to find.

terrible slow service and they still got a cheese burger and chips wrong,in there 25 mins worst branch around.

Faulty machines, long waits, no salt on already soggy chips, lukewarm burger all over in the box, watered down coke with little to no bubbles, not much more can be worst than this!

We went for breakfast - 2 breakfast muffin meals. One of the muffins was a roll. We like both so it wasn't a problem, but it was entertaining to ask for 2 of something and get 2 different things.

Overpriced over-popular standard food. Keeps you alive but doesn't keep you healthy.

Called for a drink on our way home, had a flat white and hot chocolate which were nice. Was cold in there due to cold air blowing which is not what you want in November!!

"Fast" food done at a snails pace, prepare to wait 15+ minutes if you're using the drive through, you're better off driving further to Caerwys or Broughton

Very busy at lunchtime today, so could not use table service.

The staff I felt went above and beyond to make my visit a good 1. They were very helpful and as I rarely come here, made the ordering easy for me to use. My Grandsons loved it too. I will definitely bring them again.

There was a delay of more than 10minutes as the strawberry sauce needed replacing for the milkshake, our food had been picked and packed so was going cold,took it out to eat it ,fries were lukewarm and my order was wrong, no cheese that I paid for on my mccrispy.

It’s good I’ll give the foods 4 out of 5 it’s good not saying it’s bad but I’m neutral

I can be a difficult customer sometime (sorry) but I have to say the staff never being rude and always try to do their best...kudos to them and welcome in serving the population

Excellent as always, it would be good if I could throw my rubbish into a big skip as I drive out , and it plays "I'm lovin' it" as my waste lands in there

* First time I saw paid bags. * Order burger without one of th ingredients and it was full of it, it was replaced but still alergy is alergy(sticker on the box was stationg that it was without it) * clean * friendly staff

It's a Macdonald's. Workers keeping it clean so nice to eat in.

Visited here for breakfast. I'd put an order in on the app, but service was impeded by a short power cut, this meant the order didn't get made. Having waited a while, I went to the till where the staff resolved everything swiftly and the food came out shortly after.

What you would expect, kids both had healthy options with their happy meals instead of fries. It was busy but good service. We left satisfied!

Don't go with Gary it's just a bit more work

Not the best example ..always waiting ..grill parking and usually only one kiosk active as they seem to have an obsession with using cones..also they must have run out of salt..Chips are as bland as they come

Food was hot thats about as nice as I can make it it was OK. Service was self serve that was way too close to the door so had customers bumping into you as they was trying to enter . But my main disappointment again was obviously the milkshake machine was not working. I legit do not remember the last time I went to a McDonald's and it actually be working I don't go very often anymore but when I do it's never ever working do they did do milkshakes haha

It is what it is, fairly fast food, fairly cheap. Toilets needed a clean though.

Unfortunately no extra salt available in them little packs at the at the self-service sauce area ....staff was not helpful over this refused to put extra salt on my chips

Always great service from Sylvia on the customer area. Food is usually nice but sometimes have to wait a while for it.

Food hot and quick service. I use the counter to order, not a fan of the machines.

Clean & Tidy. Friendly staff. Much better atmosphere than in most McDonald's restaurants on the other side of the border. We had McPlant and mango pineapple smoothie.

Most times very busy drive through

Ordered a Sausage Mcmuffin breakfast meal at drive-thru. Both items stone cold and Mcmuffin looked like it had been thrown around in the bag before I got it. Would have taken it back if I could.

Reluctant to go to this McDonald’s because it’s constantly a let down, thought we would give them another chance, but yet again a let down, completely wrong order, didn’t bother checking because of the new drive thru system, I thought I didn’t have to, ordered a bacon roll meal give us a breakfast meal, ordered a bacon flatbread, opens it up no bacons or cheese just the flat bread LOL!!!, what is going on here like.

Orders a delivery through Uber eats they have it to the delivery driver who phoned me from this number 07701 407026United Kingdom And told me don’t know your address taking t back, I said I have paid you can’t. That! She said take it up with them! They won’t answer phone. Do not use either service shocking

We were in the drive-thru queue for at least 25 minutes, we ordered and then we were stuck at the ordering bay for a further 10 minutes. We got to the pay window and our order had only just gone through, and they said we’d have to wait a further 7 minutes for the apple pie we ordered. Awful service. Completely.

Food is constantly wrong. Ordered food tonight, was given the correct drinks, and asked to park up. Food was brought out to us and we stupidly didnt check it first. Got home and realised the order was completely the wrong thing, not even one correct item, so had to drive all the way back. No reciept given, and staff clearly didnt believe us until they went back and checked the orders on the screen. Appalling service and no way to check if we have been charged for the wrong meal due to no receipt.

As we were waiting outside ,a couple came from inside with the coment ... disgusting...soon enough we found out why !We were approached from very unfriendly and rude young girl, after giving our order and were made to move around the front and wait, we left literally pushed outside from the staff .We found out later the order was short of two items, which we paid for and wasn't items we ordered. The food wasn't up to standard either Not recommend this place ,neither going there again !

The Drive Thru service is great except for the Vacant Expressions from the workers.Great food though!Social distancing queues due to COVID-19 have been quite annoying.Due to the Vacant Expressions from the Workers, I still think they are friendly.I still think that sometimes they can mess up the Sprites:Large Sprite is the main drink I order and either it doesn't taste like normal sprite or the Fizzy Drinks machine is broken.Despite my complaints, I still love going here every once in a while.

I expect that all McDonalds should be equal in their food standards and their products. How wrong I was. Stopped there for a burger after a long day with my husband. Never again. Someone needs to get this place sorted. The chips were cold, the burger was incomplete. No excuse for this at all. Staff looked disinterested and the place needed a good clean. I see other reviews on this place would seem to bear this out. What are they playing at?

Basically he touched up my burger in multiple ways. Then he left a trump which lingered and touched my soul. I’m never going back and Wiiiiiilllll will forever haunt me

Called into this McDonald’s after the remembrance parade and they staff could not cope. My order was basic but took forever to arrive, I was just about to receive my tray of food when the manager took an item off it and put it in a drive through bag, this prolonged my wait further. 15 minutes for fast food that is pre done is shocking. I can see now why this McDonald’s has such a poor rating.

The ability to process the correct order is nil. Four times I have been through the drive through, and four times the order has been incorrect and the fries are cold.

To be honest youve got more of winning a tenner on the lottery than with them getting your order, right or the mcflurry machine working...The A55 maccys knocks spots of this team. May be slightly unfair as everyone is polite but it's just like people aren't concerned...concentrating or care. It's a running joke around here with wrong orders and cold fries.

I’ve given up going to this place. Every single time I’ve ordered it’s been wrong and cold. When I’ve emailed to complain they don’t reply. The managers clearly don’t give a hoot, so I’ve taken my custom elsewhere!

This takeaway is just awful... shouting in the background while trying to order at the drivethrough window... order was wrong at the next window.. then the drinks were wrong.....then had to park up to wait for the order... took ages .. food cold... no sauces offered... no sauces for cheese bites.... same bad service every time... awful

Worst maccies I have been too. The last 3 visits have been dreadful! Items missing not very polite and the food you do get you have to reconstruct. I was given cold chips, asked them to change them for hot ones and was just given the same ones back! Next time I'm gonna drive a mile up the road and go to burger king.

McDonalds is what it is. This one is always clean and tidy but ither than that thre's not a lot to say and normally I wouldn't bother to review. However today one young man really stood out as being friendly efficient and ahead if the game i.e. he looked for things to do. I think his name was Charlie he brought our meal to the table and got straws for our milk telling us he'd get new straws if we needed as now tgey're paper they sometimes go soggy. Just generally polite and friendly and we watched while he constantly checked tables were ckean, the floor was swept and we saw him check the loos. Very refreshing to find a youngster who doesn't need constant supervision.

I visited the Mold branch with my young daughter recently, I had to pay cash so ordered at the till with a staff member who was lovely. It went downhill quite quickly once I'd paid.. my order of a happy meal with an extra order of fries took a long time. When my order was ready I told the next staff member (long hair in a ponytail but no hat) that the extra fries were missing. She then went to get the extra fries but when walking back to the counter she bumped into a colleague with the fries, touching her arm with the fries causing several to fall to the floor. Not a problem apparently as she then placed them on my tray. When I asked for new fries I was glared at, no apology and off she stropped to get more which were then dumped onto the tray. Had I not been in a hurry & not wanting to cause a scene I would have complained,but I will never ever spend money there again. Basic food hygiene for that staff member is sadly lacking along with manners!

Got free food and treats for waiting a little long, lovely and friendly workers. Best one my family and i have been too would recommend.

It’s an average McDonald’s big queues after 15:15 when schools finish good iPads to keep the children busy only problem is that students from the mold Alun high school go there after school and start swearing there heads off and the staff don’t do anything about it but young children go there and it’s not nice for them to here in the end I had to speak to them and my friend also had to with children from the same school which is a shame as it’s not our job to do that and it’s the staffs

Visited today for a quick bite, food very nice and didn’t have to wait. Drive through looked very busy. What stood out most were the lovely friendly staff.

in drive through often has long queues and they get orders wrong more times than not. inside tables need to be cleared more often friendly staff

My God, this is by far the worst McDonalds for 100 miles, the breakfast muffin was disgusting, greasy, and thrown together like a badly made bed.....The only reason we didn’t return immediately and throw it in their faces was because we had no time.....Visit this venue at your peril, you have been warned......

Mold Mcdobalds never fail to disappoint. Cant even get a mcflurry right! How hard is it to press a button and put sauce and chocolate in it?!

Every day I call in for two double sausage and egg muffins for breakfast. Yesterday. There were no eggs on the muffins and as it was pouring with rain, i left it until this morning to point this out. The manager refused to compensate me for the missing eggs by adding bacon instead.

Worst Macdonalds in the whole UK. Staff are rude and very unhelpful. There is a particular staff member a large woman who is always on the window no smile no hi nor bye just a ugly upset face who's flings your food at you.

Stopped for a quick lunch, ordered big Mac meal , the fries were in a box and we're definately not the right amount, I counted 12 fries in a practically empty box and the big Mac had 3 pieces of lettuce on it.

Monopoly promotions plastered all over windows and walls but they haven’t any stickers left - you don’t find that out until you’ve had your food. And the fries were cold (again).

Decided to stop at 11.20pm as had been out with friends but hadnt eaten. I ordered a box of 9 nuggets and a large fries. The girl serving on the drive through window giving out the food was useless. I wasn't greeted but simply told it won't be a minute. I was sat at the second window with my car running while they cooked the nuggets. I eventually put my car off. When I was given them the fries were half full and cold. I wasn't parked and the fries were disgusting. The nuggets tasted like they had either been cooked in the wrong vat or they had been cooked twice. Absolutely disgusting customer service. The girl who served me needs retraining in her customer service she should have at the very least parked me and made sure there were fresh fries down for when the nuggets were finally ready. Absolute crap. Always very reluctant to come here I dont know why I havent learnt by now how utterly crap the food and the services are always presented.

Visited here with grandchild as you do. These establishments are not somewhere I frequent but i must say of all the mcdonalds i have been to, this is the best. The staff are just the nicest most polite staff i have encountered. Well done.

I don’t make a habit of visiting McDonald’s, however, on the couple of occasions I have, the staff here are completely and utterly useless! Visited on NYE for a quick snack; was told all machines etc were broken (I’m sure it’s just so they could get off work early!) & last night I re-visited, clearly states which McFlurries I wanted, and they couldn’t even get this right! Hopeless!

Popped in whilst up here on business. I’m not a fan of Mc Donald’s and only occasionally use them if I’m out and about and in a hurry. This one is dreadful. Dirty, order took ages and my Big Mac when it did arrive was cold and virtually inedible ! Will never return.

Mold McDonald's never fails to disappoint. The food is thrown together, often cold and always something missing from your order. Fast food it is Not! Often having to wait at the till or drive through. Don't ask for anything different like "no cheese" as this really confused them!! And the wait is even longer! Avoid like the plague!

This review has to say it’s a McDonald’s. You all know what they serve and what it’s like inside. Clean. Tidy. Staff always helpful and recommend if you like fast food cooked well at a decent price

Avoid drive through they always tell you to park and wait for about 20 minutes maybe if they hired experienced staff then it would be better.

Place is empty but still having to park up through drive-in. Does the manager care? No Do staff care? No Total crap. Avoid. Still waiting to get a number for the area manager to complain. Anybody know the head office number

At the collection window I told to park up, I said I couldn’t because she had parked up all the cars in front of me. When I asked why the delay, she replied they were waiting on meat and it would be 2-3 mins. I parked up anticipating a piping hot meal. To my disappointment the whole meal was merely mediocre. The last trip to this drive-thru was also very poor, but given time I decided to give it another go. Nothing has changed, they still can’t cope with a mad rush. Everything has to be parked up, I would strongly recommend Head office doing a secret visit to this franchise when it’s busy at weekends, just to see how much they fail

Another visit another rubbish experience. Sat in the drive through for 10 mins then 10 mins in Aldi car park. Stone cold food. The milkshake (runny slop) was warmer. Does the fransise runner of this place actually care.

The best thing I could say about this place is nothing!!!! Food terrible, location terrible, staff terrible, service terrible and as for the drive through re-name it the drive stop and wait for the limpest dullard in the place to wander round Aldi car park till your so called food is stone cold and then apologise when they finally find your car that your food is cooked fresh to improve the quality of it!!! Only to find when said stone cold food is taken home the order is wrong for the 5th time. As you can tell I'm not a fan.

Friendly service and clean and tidy considering the traffic. Situated next to an Aldi if shopping required too.

Large fries clearly weren't large. Sweet chilli chicken wrap fell apart when I got it out of the box! Unhappy - again!

We visited this McDonalds yesterday, a treat for our Grandson before school starts. The order was spot on today, food nice and hot, ice cream nice and cold. Nice clean environment and their tables don't seem to have a sticky residue that some cafes have. All in all, a pleasant visit :)

This is the third time I have been to the drive through and had to park up.

I reviewed this place last year and its actually gone worse.

Waited almost 20 minutes inside for an order. It appeared the drive through customers were taking priority. We complained and were given medium fries which were warm and soft. This branch of McDonald's is seriously lacking in both training and the quality of staff as it appeared most were of the Variety Sunshine coach type.
