McDonald's in Swindon

Ordered on Uber, meal was cold, stale and missing items. No egg with the double sausage and egg Mcmuffin, missing 2 hash browns and a large cappuccino. I told the delivery driver the order was wrong before I'd even looked in the bag, as the drink was missing. He just shrugged and walked away. User claims it doesn't meet the requirements for a refund and McDonald's say it is Uber not them I need to take it up with. After spending over £20 on half an oder that was pretty much inedible, I won't be using either company again. Lots of other places to give my hard earned cash to.

My wifes Coke was so watery she asked for a replacement. Got the same again Little salad, patties sliding on the ssuce. Two hours later spent time recycling it in the toilet. Terrible. Did the feedback got a voucher for another at half price. Automatic answer, no contact. Just mechsnical in other words, not interested.

Served burnt chips and missing items in the past. This particular McDonald’s does not appear to follow the McDonald’s handbook or procedures. Will make sure I go to one of the others instead. This last order had burnt chips which tasted rank.

Used just eat to order. 3 large fries were missing, one double bacon burger was a double burger. Missing 20 nuggets. The rest was cold.

Ordered through uber....order was wrong, called MacDonald's, they admitted it was their fault, but would not help me as i had to contact Uber....which i did, they were very unhelpful....called Macdonalds again....asking them to help me....again not interested ......warning if you food delivered check the order as neither macdonalds or uber are interested....shame on macdonalds.....never again.....Burger king all the way...

Worst McDonalds ever. This is my local one. The drive thru is awful. There is always food missing from our order. This evening thry outdid themselves and there was an entire meal missing.

I brought five boys for a birthday meal, the service was fantastic. Special shout out to Jakub and the lovely young lady at the counter with glasses (didn’t catch her name). Very quick and friendly.

We dropped in for something to eat early eveningbefore my friend caught her train back to London. Parking was easy, but there weren't many spaces - it's mainly drive-through. I was called to collect my food before it was ready.. I had a plain hamburger, fries and an Oreo McFlurry. The food was adequate but not exciting. The McFlurry wasn't flurried - apparently they don't do that any more - and there weren't many pieces of Oreo in it either. The floor near our table was dirty and a slip-hazard. It was satisfied my hunger but that's about all you could say about it.

Love the lattes but my main reason for writing this review is for the lovely member of staff, (really sorry I don't know her name) who asked us if everything was OK. So unusual in a mcdonalds but I thought it was a lovely thing to do.

This is not the greatest establishment I have visited in my 91 years but it appears to be improving. In years past the food has been colder than the arctic itself (I know because I have lead several expeditions there as a chef for the research workers) and items were often missing from my orders. However, this is not the case all the time. Myself and my grandson recently ordered from this McDonalds using the "UberEats" on his portable telephone and the burgers were steaming hot, like the hot spings at the Yosemite National Park (I was a chef for the rangers). Nothing was missing so dare I say that this establishment has taken an upward turn. I hope the chefs continue to put in the hard work, and find the culinary passion within themselves (it is a roaring beast that cannot be contained). Anyone who knows me will tell you that I loathe fast food but I would rather eat here than any other fast food establishment in the country.

I witnessed two members of staff talking to each other over the food while preparing it for me today, additionally one of them was loudly coughing. Then part of the meal was thrown instead of being properly placed in the area where it was to be picked up from to complete the order (it wasn’t even busy at all). If that manner of preparing food came from a community worker, I would somehow explain it to myself… but in that situation I find it disrespectful. On top of that, the fries that were in my order weren’t fresh (seemed to be fried more than once and were soaked in oil in an unusual way). It’s the first time I received such a poor service in that place but I feel that it will be long before I decide to go and try it again.

What a shame. Will they get rich by stilling my food? Next time i should check my food in the bags before move on with my car, But the thing is: IT WILL BE NO NEXT TIME never ever again.

Absolutely abysmal service at Greenbridge. Almost 45mins from arrival to leaving with my food. Arrived and waited patiently 20mins in queue. Both order point lanes were full, and finally ordered food, paid for it and then had to park up for a further 25mins, watching other people park up and leave before I eventually got my food. My order: qtr pounder large meal, motsorella share box, smartie mcflurry. Nothing too difficult. By the time the food arrived, the mcflurry was more like a milkshake. Fast food seems a bit of a misnomer. Happens more often than not. Get it sorted!!!

Absolutely discusted in the service payed over £50 for a delivery checked it on the app food was ready within 10 mins,the food sat there for a further 35 mins waiting for a driver they changed drivers 3 times,when it eventually came it was all cold kids my wife and myself were not happy burgers were shocking the way they stacked them. I will never ever go there again,burger King from now on. These should be ashamed of the way they work,this is not the first time it's happened.

I tried to pay for my lunch with a £50 note. and it was refused bluntly before even checking the note. the smirking manager Ashly. said its company policy not to accept legal tender as payment. so i couldn't get any food and went hungry. all recorded on dash cam has now been sent to the head office .

We ordered a MC Chicken sandwich meal and chose to have side salad instead of fries. When we opened the box we were very surprised to find a bit of lettuce and just one slice of tomato sat on top! What a disgrace! That's not a salad but just a bit of bitter lettuce.

Ordered delivery for kids & grand kids, the kids ate the chicken nuggets but all the fries were cold & soggy, adults had burgers but I couldn’t believe the double quarter pounders which were like leather & it appeared the bun was for a kiddies burger.

The basics of catering are simple …. Great service, a comfortable environment, fast food and critically great food. This site ticks the first three boxes but receiving cold fries makes the visit pointless and I left hungry. Seeing rows of fries under the hot light for god knows how long will inevitably be the reason I received tepid and flaccid fries. If the team moved with any sort of pace perhaps the fries would have been a tough hotter. Perhaps. Sadly this review will not change the process.

Ordered 4 meals and surprise one burger missing. This is the second time in two weeks they have missed a burger from the order, and one large fries only half full. They don’t check and more disappointed no apologies !! Unbelievable. I honestly think looking at the reviews of customers they are doing this deliberately and expecting not everyone will bother to come back and complain.

This place is with people with strong nerves! Manager in a load of stuff a bunch of morons! Completely and professional. After taking order about 10x and still got wrong order! On the end and about 15 minutes trying to sort the order, give up...

It’s confiding to order from big screens when you’re in your late 70s. There’s no one to help, and you can’t see a full menu. So you take a guess at what you are ordering and then the food arrive Luke warm , dangerous temperature...

Quick service from friendly staff, order was all correct & food nice and warm. Restaurant was clean with plenty of tables available, one of the better McDonalds to visit.

A treat for my Grandson who thoroughly enjoyed his visit. Meals were served to table, which was lovely. After he ate his meal, he played with other children in climbing frame. Value for money.

Always the slowest fast food in town ! don't know how they manage to make it so slow even when it isnt busy.

Order took about 10 mins to arrive at the car and when it did the chicken nuggets looked like they had been cooked in crude oil, dirty and disgusting tasting, if it hadn't been for the queues I'd have gone back to complain. Worst Maccy D I think I've ever had.

We ordered through Uber eats for delivery and half of the food was missing. delivered in a paper bag, the remaining food was cold. Charged for 3 missing items and told they can’t replace and I would have to contact Ubereats! I have to explain it’s not a replacement if you don’t supply the food in the 1st place! Poor service! They need to Check that the food matches order before sending out!

It's our closest McDonald's and every time we use them and I mean every time the order is always wrong. Absolutely shocking!!!!!! They can't even get a simple order of 2 hamburgers correct. We have had enough now and will not use them again.

Standard McDonald's that is fairly clean and has seating area. Burgers seem to be getting smaller in size. Still love the thick shakes.

This restaurant is basically the same as all the others through out the country, it’s cheap cheerful, clean, staff are great the food tastes good & it fills you up for an hour or two then you seem to want more of something but the kids love it & if kids love it & eat it all up it can’t be that bad.

I Love going to McDonalds and having my breakfast here which i really enjoy especially outside in the sunshine with friends

Haha we don't eat a lot of fast food but who can really resist McDonald's mcflurrys! Good regular flavours and amazing guest flavours. Currently mcloving the galaxy cookie crumble.

I took my two children here this morning for breakfast. We were up early to take daddy to a hospital for an operation then I needed to get them fed while waiting for shops to open. Anyway...a stressful and manic morning was quickly turned around by a lovely experience at McDonalds. The lovely man who served us and bought our food to our table with a smile, the friendly cleaning lady who apologised to us for cleaning around us (not needed but so sweet) and went out of her way to offer and blow up two balloons for the kids, the customer who gave my daughter the toy he’d Paid for (out of Happy Meal hours) for his child (it wasn’t the toy he thought it was) and put the biggest smile on her face, the other customer who carried a high chair over to our table and made happy faces at my one year old throughout his meal. A great example of ‘happy staff, happy customers’. Less than a fortnight ago I was in s restaurant with a menu starting at £25 a main course and experienced a tenth of the customer service I did today. Thank you!

I am fed up with this mcdonalds. If I could put no stars I would. In the past year I have complained 4 times about hair in food, very staff, not getting what I asked for and realising when I get home and having half a drink and hardly anything in food. I know people would say why do you go back but when you complain and the mangers say sorry when you go back they do it perfectly so think the next time after this will be better. It never is they are rude and don't give a toss. I asked for a happy meal and some mozzarella dips and a strawberry Sunday in a mcflurry pot (this is because I hate the usually pots they come in as ice cream gets everywhere). When I got home I had 2 mozzarella when there is supposed to be 3, half a bag of cold chips (I live 5 mins away), a cold burger, a strawberry Sunday that had no strawberry sause in it and half a cup of coke that tasted watery!! I know they are busy but come on it's time after time and their customer service stinks!! I know it's not a 5 star restaurant and I'm not expecting 5 star service but what I do expect is the food I ask for and it at least warm wheb I go to eat it. Save yourself the bother and go to another mcdonalds other than this one.

I have visited this McDonald's twice, both through the drive thru on my way home from work. Both times I ordered a plain cheeseburger and both times even though the sticker on the burger said plain it was not plain so I had to throw them away. Disappointed and will probably not return

After a trip to the cinema, my son requested that we stop by McDonalds for lunch on the way home.I haven't been to a McDonalds for a number of years, and I can promise you that i'll never be going back!We ordered my son's happy meal (cheese burger, fries & milkshake), and I then enquired regarding whether then had any gluten free options - as there was a large sign on the counter stating that if you have "any questions regarding food allergies, please ask a member of staff". The server, didn't know, and so grabbed their guide book to allergies. After several minutes of the server flicking through the guide with no answer, I suggested that he ask his manager, who also didn't have a clue - DOES STAFF TRAINING MEAN NOTHING TO McDONALDS!I read the guide myself, and they had the following options: Chicken Salad, Fries, Carrots and ice-creams. That was it. For a multinational restaurant (I use the word in its loosest sense!), I find the lack of options in this modern day and age pathetic!I plumed for the Chicken Salad, it was tasteless, fatty, and the salad was limp to say the least.I went to complain, and the manager simply brushed it off.The only redeeming feature of the visit was the strawberry milkshake, but that was it.Given the complete lack of options, the tasteless food (probably chickens kneecaps - it certainly wasn't breast meat!), the incompetent and unhelpful staff, and the generally dirtiness of the restaurant, i'll never be setting foot there again. In fact you couldn't pay me to visit again!

The restaurant itself was extremely busy and popular, was gutted that I wasn't able to order my usual quarter pounder with cheese as the staff informed me that the didn't sell them.once we had paid and received our order we were then able to help ourselves to our drinks (loved that idea) which was a fantastic thing as you could choose if you wanted ice etc and it took the pressure off the staff.Would definitely visit again if in the Swindon area.

Friday lunch and this week we decided to go to the local Mcdonold's ..........first and last time !our order no 028 on the 20/2/2014Not the cheapest Friday lunch @ £38.21 for 5 of us but the food would be good ?.... wouldn't it ?We collected our order at the counter as our office is only 500mt away so was expecting a goodlunch time feast .problem 1 - missing food , one complete meal was missing ....come on now only 5 of us and should be easy to put 5 burgers and 5 fries in a bag ?problem 2 - the burgers that made it back back to the office ( 3 no Grand burgers @ 4.77 each ) were stone cold . A great looking burger but didn't taste great with out any heat.tried to phone the number but no reply and we only get 30 minutes for lunch so guess we will have to cut our losses......needless to say this place is off the Friday lunch list !!

Visited this restaurant last week , the staff were very welcoming and helpful, a member of staff offered to carry my tray upstairs for me as I had two trays .The restaurant was very clean and tidy but the food could have been better, unfortunately the fries weren't very hot as was the chicken mayo burger, the milkshake was quite watery, the chicken nuggets were great though, piping hot and really tasty.Maybe visit again in a few months to see if there's an improvement .

As an ex employee it's probably unfair to comment, but it has been more than twenty years. Was disappointed today with the quality of the food. My quarter pounder seemed to be between the top and bottom of a Mac bun, and the big Mac in our order had obviously been in the production bin for way longer than 10 mins, the lettuce had turned Brown. Because we had driven away before we opened our bags we couldn't go back to complain. But very disappointed.

On my first visit, there was a long wait for our food. I must have made a mistake when I assumed that fast food meant just that.The second visit today, resulted in no food as they had just had a power cut and this is a brand new McDonalds restaurant.
