Only ever use drive through for a coffee or burgers for my kids. Most efficient McDonalds about. Rarely wait even though my order is always a fussy (no ketchup / completely plain) one. And food stays hot until home. In my been inside once and it was very clean and decent layout / seating.

Drive thru service was quick and the people were very kind and polite.

Found a fly in my Caramel Latte this morning when I took a sip!

Order was missing burgers , rang back & given a number to phone just eat ? , when McDonald's said they'd left the burgers out of the order , it's not just eats fault !! 4 Q McDonald's !!!!!!! , well would you believe it , it's happened again item missing , ring just eats again for refund when MC Donald's have incorrectly packed my order , you've taken my money again & not delivered again , so here goes another big "4Q" !!!!!!!!.

manger Kayleigh soaked my food and raised her voice at me and my friends because we ordered are food separate and threatened to ban us and didn’t give me my meal because she said she wasn’t serving us anymore terrible service need a new manager

I was dining in at MacDonalds rawtenstall and ordering food at breakfast for table service and ordering food at dinner for table service when the time went past 11 and as I ordered my seperate food for breakfast and dinner the shift manager Kaleigh got increasingly frustrated at having to deliver my food which I paid for to my table before asking me and my friends to leave as we are ordering our own food separately to be delivered to the table. When she delivered the last lot of food she changed the order from eat in to take out without my choice and attempt to make me and my friends leave before threating us with a ban and slamming my friends food on the table.

Missing items, wrong orders and cold food all the time, after meeting the unhelpful manager Kayleigh, the problem is quite clear in this place

Quality of food is starting to drift. Food presentation can be poor, drinks are often short measured and ice cream cones are a lottery on how little ice cream you get. Disappointing. Updated review 09/04/24 No real change to my original review. Getting a whole meal that is all fresh is very much a lottery, normally something is cold. It seems to have gone down since covid, and the increase in home deliveries has made things slower/worse. Can take or leave McD's. Updated review 09/06/24 Had one meal that everything was fresh, hot and the correct amount, thought I'd make the day! No different to most fast food places tbh. None seem to care anymore.

I have been to this McDonald's on several occasions, and nothing has changed. The Place still dirty service is slow, l believe this is due to the amount of delivery drivers that come in. This pushes walk in customs orders back, and l have witnessed very annoyed people making very negative comments.

Chloe who I think is the manager was very unpleasant towards me and my family, giving us rude looks and snappy answers when asked questions same with an employee named lily. They need to be fired ASAP!

Awful customer service. Missing food items from delivery order. This has happened so many times, always seem to forget to put food items in bag then blame it on Uber eats and just eat, when it’s McDonald’s fault! Quality of food isn’t that great, food is always soggy and cold.

Avoid. Food often under cooked and the red haired assistant manager this morning refused to get me her manager (Fri 24th May 24) then argued the food was cooked when it was literally cold. Breakfast muffin looked like it had been kicked around the kitchen before wrapping. The red haired rude and nasty individual who antagonised and argued her food was cooked as it had been in the oven for required amount of time was nasty, clearly has no experience in management and seemed to enjoy showing her staff how she was speaking to me. Disgusting cold food and cold attitude from staff who you'd hope would help. Taking your money. Rushing the cooking then refusing to accept your complaint of cold food. The moment you get upset or show any anger it's an excuse to pull the don't speak to me like that. Then refuse to speak to you. And this was on the drive thru. Literally handed me undercooked food that was inedible. Seriously bad .

Thought The Staff where Really Helpful And Hardworking 🤟 Everything Seemed Clean And Tidy And Didn't Wait Long

Cheap and cheerful but with their recent price hike only use it as a last resort.

App and Google maps states 24h opening times. Arrived at 11:25, began placing order on the app and cones went out across the drive through before I could order. Update closing time of restaurant to reflect reality please.

Unusually hot food as most other sites are lukewarm only spoilt by a pigeon walking round the site, please replace the automatic doors with manual ones.

This place needs closing !!! We turned up at 1-30 am after a gig, one car in front of us waited 10 minutes for him to be served. The guy on speaker order We couldn't understand a bloody word he was saying!! Finally the guy in front left. 2 cars behind us now. They brought 2 drinks after 10 minutes which were not ours! Another 15 minutes finally got the food! Served by a total miserable teenager! There was no salad on the veggie wrap! Absolutely disgusting service ! God knows how they cope at busy times!!! And my chicken burger was cold!

Food isn't always hot mostly warm ...60%of the time ice cream, milkshake, or frap machine isn't working .....at peak times you can end up waiting a while to get your full order the longer you wait the more likely your arder is going to be wrong

What an Absolutely disgusting experience even worser due to a manager called ELEANOR can only assume as to why she acted the way she did. Waited 20mins for my food after it had gone to collect and disappeared off the screen (seems like a very regular occurance at this brance) many customers after me came and went , After enquiring about my order to a so called manager ginger hair IMMATURE little girl called ELEANOR who has no communication skills and lacks every other skill possible to be a manger (no idea how she got a manger role can only assume must be a shortage of workers or she wasn't hired due to her merits and that definitely shows) told me I had to keep waiting ??? After telling her I had waited 20 mins and customers had come and gone after me she replied like a robot without any emotions or facial expressions whatsoever( however in fairness it could of been due to the layers of makeup glued to her skin like a leach stuck to its prey refusing to budge) that I had to keep waiting in a very rude manner. I finally got my food I checked the time stamp to see how long it had been ready which showed 18.00 about 30 mins ago, after pointing this out to the so called manager ELEANOR who showed via her demina and attitude she was displaying that she didn't really want to be there and was not bothered which isnt professional at all ( if you dont want to be there and it shows clear as daylight through your behaviour, attitude and actions then why not find another job instead of belittling peope enjoy life, live a little and allow someone else who is qualified and willing to do so instead) she was not at all concerned about how long the food was ready or if it was cold but more concerned about me zipping my bag properly even though i had done so but was not to her liking very petty and immature behaviour. She didn't seem that concered about all the others before myself that didn't even bother hence i feel she was discriminating against myself( can only assume cause I enquired about my food which was probably something she hadn't encountered previously and never knew how to deal with the situation). To the extent that she followeded me out the shop in a very IMMATURE , aggressive and confrontational manner and kept chasing me like a bully in a playground which just escalated the situation even more, again clearly showing no relevant experience in life to hold such a post cause actions like this just add fuel to the fire no idea what outcome she was looking for for but my procative behaviour all over not zipping up a bag to HER satisfactory standards shocking. Honestly think the owners of this franchise need to train their staff to treat all their customers equally regardless of who they are as it seems to be an ongoing issue in this particular branch, where employees seem to think they can treat a select few of their customers as they wish absolutely disgusting to say the least.

The managers CHOLE the CLOWN who is also a LIAR as HE likes to claim HE is the owner of this particular branch but the paperwork shows otherwise abit deluded in my opinion to say the least n Keyligh ( not referring to her physical features but was being hypothetical, i honestly dont think u have a big nose at all but unfortunately chole thinks so keeps going on and on about it .. but who is she to judge think she has alot more to worry about than yourself if im being honest, but is only my humble opinion) are an absolute joke have no customer service skills nor any manners no idea how they became managers ?????? Well think i might know how but thats for another day. Just do what we pay you to do and make the food how hard can it be surely not that hard if u got a brain cell that's working. 🤔 hope the feedback is taken on board and and implemented for a better customer service experience and I've not just wasted 4 minsof my life for nothing. A '24 hour' fast food place that seems to be closed for about 16 hours every day

Macdonald's. No atmosphere. Pictured play area is closed since COVID. I placed my drive thru order at the microphone and by the time I'd made It round to the pay window. They added everyone else's order on to mine. I paid for my coffee and cheeseburger and when I got to the collection window, there was a new guy doing his best whilst being barked at by some sergeant major supervisor. I was handed my brew and sent to the next window by the trainee on the instructions of miss trunchbull. Half an hour later somebody opened the window and a lady asked why I was waiting there. I said I just wanted my cheeseburger. She ran off and after a while the trainee from before was sent like a lamb to the slaughter To see me. He presented me with the saddest, coldest, least appetising cheeseburger you've ever seen, not even in a bag, just thrust at me. By this time the coffee id bought to go with the limp anaemic burger was stone cold too. I got in touch with customer services after going round in circles with the AI help-bot for must of a day and a helpful service agent offered me two complimentary meals. I was sent "two " vouchers by email. When I came to redeem my vouchers, only one of them was valid. If you have a problem with Macdonald's complain. Inundate then with complaints, complain until they give you the keys to the safe. It's the only way they'll learn

Appalling customer service experience from manager. Went through Drive-Thru, smallish order, parked up. opened up food, noticed large banana milkshake ordered was actually a medium vanilla. It was also very watery and not cold. Nipped in to counter with it for an exchange, only to be questioned for receipt with a glare by the staff member. Received the new one, with no hint of apology or acknowledgement of error. Walked back to car only to find same error again, returned to restaurant again to find who i assume is the manager (may be wrong) stood at the door like a bouncer. Having informed her of the issue, proceeded to again demand the receipt and lecture me about my 'opportunities' to check my order in the drive-thru, forgetting the second exchange was at the counter. The two times to get my order correct in the first place lost on her. Then advising it it maybe the banana syrup machines fault and she would check it, all the while having me standing outside on the restaurant doorstep. Again no hint of acknowledge of error, just another bolshy, combative customer's fault. I left her stood at the door, having given up. wow, never seen or experienced this before in a macs...a wide berth for this place in future. Zero *

24 hours but doesn’t open until 6am. Doesn’t sound like 24 hours to me.

I placed an order on the McDonald’s app, but upon arriving at the restaurant, I found it closed. When I called, they explained they were updating the system and would reopen in 30 minutes. My reason for leaving this review is that such closures seem to happen frequently at night with various excuses. The drive-through is blocked, lights are off, giving the impression they might not want customers at night, perhaps even sleeping in the back. Additionally, they often claim to be out of food and display a consistently poor attitude. There's a concern about the hygiene practices of the staff, as it appears they might neglect washing their backside. This aspect contributes to an overall dissatisfaction with the cleanliness standards at the establishment. I observed staff members at night who seem to defy the expectation that women don't have chin hair. Encountering individuals with such facial hair, reminiscent of the Grinch, adds to the peculiar and off-putting experiences during my visits.

Last order made here was pretty horrendous.... Mcflurry was just liquid (as drinks and ice-cream appear to sit on the counter for 5-10mins whilst food is made) and completely the wrong size and counter service can take a long while (whilst drive through appears to be prioritised)

Come here about once a year and always perplexed as to why we bother. It never gets any better but the grandkids love it!

Popped in for food after a 4.5 hour long drive. The place was extremely busy, which I assume is normal for the location (Im not from the area). Food was as expected and heated well. Clean and tidy, staff were friendly. I couldn't really find fault.

Bacon sandwich. Awful. Soggy bread. Under cooked bacon. Extremely dear for the size and quality.

I should have given a review a long time ago but today was the final straw. This must be the 5th time AT LEAST that this branch has got an order wrong. The incompetent staff honestly haven’t got a clue and the customer service is a disgrace! I had to back yet again and this time I asked at the first window for a free item the same as the item that was missing off the order. The girl at the window said this wasn’t an issue and then at the next window they refused to give the free item. Absolute joke of a place and to be fair to McDonald’s whatever people’s opinions are of the food this has absolutely nothing to do with the taste or quality of the food it’s the horrendous service you receive time after time at this branch. If you really want a McDonald’s drive 2 miles and go to the Rising Bridge branch as the service there is 1st class every time

Does not accept student or military IDs which is the only branch I've seen with this policy. Medium fries arrived half empty which is disappointing, the food was hot though which good.

Why advertise as a 24 hour restaurant if your only going to serve drinks at certain times? I wouldn’t mind but because of its rubbish location I had to drive all the way back round the roundabout to get to the motorway empty handed. Since it’s opening the place has been sub parr on all aspects. Food definitely disgusting. Made worse by the service. Probably because it’s run by kids. Once, whilst I was eating there, I watched a young girl, probably around 18-19 interviewing another young lad around the same age for a job. If you could call it an interview. The guy was clearly her pal as she sat there with doe eyes flirting with him. They had a laugh and a giggle and then gave him the job. Ludicrous. Need some adult management in that place asap

Missed half the order , manager told us to go back for missing food ,offered no alternative, refused to send missing food

The app failed to recognise that was there, so I could not place an order using the app. Went to counter and it took 5 minutes before a member of staff asked me if I was ok.

Item was missed off my order. Nice modern place. Toilets were clean, seen worse. 1st time here, would return.

Never had an order correct yet and when you ring up to sort it out they go to the scripted response that they are being spoken to in an incorrect manner and end the call

I’d give a zero if I could! So in my slightly hungover state we decided on McDonald’s for lunch. Rawtenstall McDonald’s is quite possibly the worst one I have ever visited! Never an adult or senior there, kids are running the show and couldn’t run a p**s up in a brewery quite frankly! Just one of my gripes is that I asked for extra pickles on my burger, got told no?!?! Erm excuse me?? and this is what I got………less than what I usually get??? Not one working brain cell in that place!

If I could give 0 stars I would. My order is 8/10 times wrong, items missing, no sauce, cold fries, staff are either illiterate or have 1 braincell between them. I don't know how hard it is to read an order and double check the items inside the bag before giving it to a customer/delivery driver. Spend over £20 on food and because I didn't want a drink and made it into a meal then I am not allowed any sauces because their new policy states that it's a one stingy sized sauce pot per meal. What a joke. Ran by a bunch of 🤡's and yes men/women. Management need to give their heads a wobble and sort out the one sauce policy and train the staff.

Ordered breakfast and customised to have no egg received order and left on opening breakfast I found it to have egg even though the sticker stated it hadn't this could've caused me a serious allergic problem very poor that mcdonalds very poor.

A nice McDonald's with a very unique and modern feel. The food was standard for McDonald's and the staff were nice enough. 4 stars as there was a limit on sauces, 1 per meal, which I've never encountered in the UK and is annoying. Overall I would reccomend for a fairly unique McDonald's experience.

Imagine getting a sweet chilli wrap only to find there's no actual sweet chilli sauce....imagine ordering a hot chocolate that looks like Salt Bae put the cocoa in but missed the cup entirely...No need to imagine any further, order from here and you'll be able to 'enjoy' this once in a life time opportunity.

This mcds ALWAYS get your order wrong. They just dont "get" the concept that somebody would not want mayo and ketchup or salad all over a burger,but on the occasion the order is correct its usually nice (for what it is,its no 5 guys obviously). If you venture inside after school times its full of feral kids but other than that,all good.

Never had a problem until recently and what a joke it's become, I usually go in the early hours around my work schedule and the milkshake and ice cream machine is turned off, I understand that it needs cleaning and doing it during a time qhen it's less used or perhaps not appropriate. You know like during the breakfast menu but instead they turn it off around midnight, maybe a little earlier and then peave it turned off throughout the breakfast menu, doesn't take 11hrs with a shift change to clean that machine. It's just laziness and being bone idle. Might as well be in America at this point. What a joke.
