McDonald's in Worthing

Called in for Breakfast wrap ,2 porridges with syrup a large latte and a bottle of juice .Service very slow & had to wait for nearly 20 mins & had to nicely ask staff twice where the order was. So many staff in the kitchen but the place was not crowded -probably poor management that lead to delays and for others too. Food was Ok -Latte far too weak.

Big mac served like this 😳 Yeah, no burger. Was cold 🥶 Drink was flat Fries were cold I counted 19 staff yet nobody on the counter, nobody Cleaning tables, one slow person randomly picking the orders out of a big cooling pile. Need a manager that cares.

Absolutely disgusting appalling the delivery came stone cold I then phoned the manager in Worthing completely useless he gave me 0800 number three hours later it’s still busy never again will I order or go into this dreadful restaurant and delivery service pure CRAP .

Not Good food is cold when turned up. Takes ages for food to be prepared. And overall is disgusting. The tables are really dirty/sticky

Chaotic beyond belief. None of the usual Mac processes working, ordering m/cs without paper receipts for orders. Huge queues, people taking random stuff, Order progress screens not working. Staff working to a go slow routine around the restaurant. Food when it arrive ok.

Had home delivery and items missing trying calling them and of course no answer never getting home delivery again as this is not the first time this has happened

I use to visit McDonald’s every couple of months to enjoy their food. I thought I try it out during covid but boy the restaurant turned out worse thanks to this disease. I had to wait 10 minutes to get into the store as I wanted to use the eat out to help out scheme. I was welcomed and given my number but no guideline of what to do. I read the table to scan and put in my details etc and I thought something would happen. It wasn’t until I got told I needed the McDonald’s app to order and I realised my mobile was almost dead. Through doing my order my mobile died and the only suggestion was to do take away. I highly recommend that you are asked if you have a phone on you or if you would rather buy at till or using a self service machine with contactless and the staff put down the information and call your number etc. I have now lost out on the half price meal at McDonald’s.

I ordered it via Delivery (Uber-Eats) and the food was fantastic! All hot and tasted delicious. Definitely would recommend

Absolutely bad service, manager (young guy) is rude to customers. I came to pick up the order (I did it many times), but this time everything went wrong, the manager said stupid things and just left when he realized that he was wrong.

A very busy McDonald’s in the town centre, it’s always busy as it’s the only one locally, but after a very long wait which is now made worse by having to wait behind Uber Eats customers even though you make the effort to actually go in the restaurant, with so little space to wait that you are in the way where ever you stand it’s a horrible experience. When we eventually got the food it was cold, with items missing, in normal circumstances I would of returned it but it wasn’t worth the wait. In future one to avoid!

We have ordered a delivery a few times now and the charge is £3.50. Don’t mind but it looks like someone has had a dip into the fries. We ordered a large fries and only half a packet arrives. I will not order from her for delivery. It cost £10 for one meal including delivery and looks like it’s been opened up and picked at. Maybe the Uber driver ‍♂️Such a ripoff.

Absolutely appalled by the lack of service and help from Worthing McDonald's this evening. Me and my best friend Libby were sitting inside with her daughter Amelia, when Amelia (7 month old baby) all of a sudden started coughing and choking with our full attention. Libby in shock and going mind blank, I grabbed Amelia out of the high chair and proceeded to carry out infant first aid care. There I am holding Amelia in a down facing position smacking her back as hard as I felt I needed to and theres a member of staff sweeping the floor. The cleaner continued to sweep around our table whilst this commotion is going on, completely ignoring the fact that I was trying to get my goddaughter to breathe, throwing her into all positions and providing as much infant care as i could remember. I looked around me and everyone was staring. Customers, staff, managers. Not one person came over and offered to help, no first aid offered, not a question was asked. And the cleaner just carried on about her day. Absolute disappointed, disgusted and completely appalled. Sort it out McDonalds.I am so thankful that I am a Level 3 First Aider and I had a 3 day course in which I spent hours learning how to save a childs life by choking. Let's just say I would hate to think what could have happened if libby was on her own and no one bothered to help her! Scariest situation ever and I'm still shaking 6 hours later.Thankfully Amelia is fine and well now. To think I had her life in my own hands for a good few moments with no help offered what so ever is sickening. Not one member of staff offered to help or even offered to get medical help. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Overall, as you would expect from McDonalds, the food and cleanliness of the restaurant was of a good standard and so no complaints. I was served by mainly young staff who were friendly and professional, as I waited for my order, I noticed the young woman on the till frequently take time to explain special offers, menu etcHOWEVER, I was absolutely appalled to hear a female manager, literally screaming at the staff in the kitchen. From her accent, I can only assume she was either Spanish or Portuguese, but her downright bullying was audible to waiting customers - many of whom were as horrified as me. It was awful to watch the staff visibly cowering, exchanging anxious looks etc so many customers were also discussing this woman’s behaviour.Mc Donald’s is a family restaurant, it has a reputation for being a friendly place to eat - perhaps this fact has never been explained to the current manager ! As I waited for my vegetarian order, I watched several senior staff help the crew members which is what you would hope for such an established company. But this woman ??? She either needs to be re-trained on how to speak to staff or sacked because she is obviously extremely detrimental to the overall customer experience.

Fast service, freshly cooked food, was a little disappointed to find that the breakfast menu finished at 10.30 instead of 11 am. Shows how long my last Double Sausage and Egg McMuffin was. I had a double CB with bacon from the Savers Menu with a medium fries, lovely and hot, certainly vastly improved on the old form where things weren't cooked to order when the fries were cold within minutes, as were the burgers. I like the change and will use more often, especially before 10.30

Best hot chocolate, not too sweet, strong or powdery. The vegetarian menu has got a lot better too. More healthy options available.

Maccies. Nuggets. Burgers. Chips. Special cheese based item that changes throughout the year. McFlurries. 'nuff said

Seems strange reviewing a fast food place, but today was a very different experience than usual. The staff were exceptionally friendly, one bought over a colouring set for our toddler and another was making animals out of balloons! Not what I usually expect, but made it an enjoyable experience!

We took our grandchildren here for a take-out at lunch time on Sunday. Very busy, lots of customers but the restaurant coped well. Very clean as were the toilets. Although there were lots of people queuing and milling about we sorted out our orders at one the of the self-order touch panels. Never used one before but with help from the grandchildren, it was quite easy and straightforward, even using a couple of vouchers we had. It took a while though, and we had to concentrate which all helped us to not notice the crowds and noise. Our order number was printed on our ticket and was ready at the collection within a couple of minutes. You had to take a plastic table number if you had a table and staff would bring your meals to you. Quick service. Thank you MacD staff. There was a cash point and person to take orders but this had a long queue. We are converts to the touch panel system. It loses the personal contact at the counter, but we got our food without hassle. Large seating area was full but we had decided to eat a picnic in the adjacent Liverpool Gardens, along with many others customers. Nice place and the weather was superb. Will definitely come here again.

Watch the film the Founder and you'll see why these kiosks are a mistake. They will be the end of McDonalds unless they change the kitchens. The Worthing store was always busy but its even worse now. The kiosks aren't user friendly and the hardware they run on means they are annoyingly slow. Because so many orders are coming in at once, the kitchen can't cope so you're left with a massive queue of people waiting for their food. Because the servers now have nothing to do but wait for the food they all hang round the production bin that in all these self service stores causes the staff to have their back to everyone. So when there was an issue with my order and you want to get attention you're now ignored.

I was waiting on Saturday morning 22 mnts for 1 sandwich finally it’s come and it’s wrong ( I don’t want bacon and they put in bacon I told them, they just take out bacon give me back) but bacon touched there I told them I can’t eat that because I have allergy for bacon anyway was really bad experience in this mcd;((

High quality food, great fresh produce. Tasty satisfying and value for money. Great meal enjoyed with friends. 10/10

While I am not an advocate for fast food chains, I do have an eight year old daughter who loves chicken nuggets and I must admit that the odd Big Mac is something I do enjoy, but not as a normal diet. Having said that the revamp of this branch now makes it possible to order from a computer screen, pick up a place number and find a seat, the food then arrives shortly thereafter, at least that has been my experience. It's a McDonalds and as far as the food goes it's like any other, the new interior is bright and cheerful and the new system appears to be working well and has obviated the need to stand in a long queue at busy times waiting for someone to make up their mind, there are also computer screens available for kids so that parents can sit there being ignored.

Watched staff wipe the floor and stands with the same cloth used to wipe the new interactive ordering screens. Unhygienic to use the screens as no sanitizer in-between use. Waited ages after order for my food to be dispensed when I advised the lady serving me that the new set up was awful and slow she couldn't even look up to talk to me, I guess u don't need to have custmoer service skills or training to be a robot shovelling out food now!

A report came out a couple of years aha saying that there where maggots in the food at this location and to add to that it is hardly fast food as it takes forever!!!!

Rated one as could not give, no rating. We visited on a Saturday morning when not over busy. We attempted to use the digital menu console as there seemed to be no other option even though they only accept card payments. We wanted two Grand Macs but the console would only accept one or three. We tried another console but the result was the same. We looked for a staff member to assist us but to no avail. We left, hungry and disappointed.

Just recently, this McDonald's has had a total refit. It's much improved and well presented with new seating and tables, plus digital ordering if customers want to use it. The coffee was good and hot and the staff are usually pleasant and helpful.

Like most McDonalds it was well presented and clean. Even though it was a busy lunchtime, the food was available quickly and was freshly cooked.

Well went there went there in the afternoon 6th August and it was awful. I know it's fast food , but the buns were burnt and the burgers inside. The only good thing was the drinks and fries which were freshly made . I know this is not the best of foods to eat , but it's even worse burnt .

Solíamos usar regularmente este restaurante para comer y para llevar, pero en la actualidad casi no visita. Si comes en la comida rápida y no tienes que esperar una eternidad para que venga su comida debido a las colas de alta o servicio simplemente lento. Tiempos de espera enorme en coche por demasiado. Las hamburguesas que salen son un triste representante de las fotos detrás del mostrador de una hamburguesa bien hecha y mullidos. . . Simplemente agolpadas y parece que alguien sentado en él. . . Esta rama, evitando hasta mejora hecha y es mejor que sea una amplia. Decepcionado, como es usada por los viajeros y turistas en la concurrida un 27 cerca. Se merecen mejor

Desde que los niños tienen todo crecido rara vez a McDonalds ya pero estoy parcial a una salchicha y huevos McMuffin cada vez. Sin embargo, tan agradable como lo son, es una experiencia dolorosa para conseguir uno. El servicio aquí es tan lento y tan desorganizado que vas para el desayuno y es casi la hora del almuerzo por el tiempo que te dan la comida!

Fuimos para el desayuno, magdalenas, pero no listo croquetas de patata, lo más sencillo que normalmente tienen preparada. Aparte de eso todo bien. Personal amable. Aunque podía hacer con una limpieza profunda.

I don't like certain things like mayo or cheese and ask for these things to be left out however sometimes they don't do what I ask for. Today I ordered the new BBQ beef Smokehouse - no cheese then waited 5 mins then got the burger with no cheese and no bacon so complained and then waited another 5 mins and came and gave to me with bacon in however tasted a bit strange then noticed the base of the bun was very burnt. I then left. Burger King say have it your way and they deliver with no problems why can't McDonald's do the same.

Was served by a guy when asked for big mac said the machine had broke.what was fair enough but the orderd 2 double cheeseburgers.but the guy kept getting my order wrong.in the end he repeated it to me so thought he had it right.thought the bill was expensive by the time I got home with the meal.there were 3 burgers and the chips were cold.i think next time I'm over at Worthing I will try the wimpy bar.

Always busy here, usually have to queue, not the fastest service for fast food. Always seems like mayhem. Typical McDonald's food. Get what you pay for, usually have to ask for fresh cooked food otherwise chips Luke warm and soggy or burgers warm. Not the cleanest floors but someone usually cleaning around.

As any McDonalds if this is your thing. Busy at times but ideally situated within the town but short walk to the sea.

This McDonald's has always been hot on its cleanliness and the staff work hard. It's comfy with a variety of seating to suit your need.The only gripe I have is the queue can be awful, to the point people leave, losing revenue. Surely after all these years there must be something to ease the congestion? Even if they created some kind of queue barriers to make people feel the queue is shorter than it is! Rather than trailing back to the front door?! Otherwise, a good Golden arch :)

Went in for a burger around 9.30 in the evening but they had closed off the seating area for cleaning etc, so just got a take away.I ordered a cheeseburger meal which came with chips and a drink for just under a fiver which I thought was quite reasonable. The burger was too big for the bun and the chips weren't very hot. A couple of girls who came in after me got their order first which annoyed me a bit. Service a bit slow but friendly. Around 3 or 4 staff on around the back of the shop.

My wife, who is a fan for a McD, dragged me in recently when we had grandchild No 1 with us. They liked it, I remain unimpressed. Long queue's, lack of seating, uncomfortable and in particular the whole place needed a thorough clean/tidy up. That said the food was what you expect from a McD and was perfectly acceptable. Probably the best point is value-for-money..you get what you expect at reasonable price. I just wish the whole experience could be more pleasant and less like a cattle market. At the end of the day..none of this matters cos it is like marmite...you either luv it or hate it!

I personally think that the food is nice. the happy meal toys should be improved but i guess they are ok. and the drinks are good. i recommend McDonalds to every human being on earth

McDs is what McDs is. Fast food for those on the go. The one in Worthing has very friendly staff. They make an effort to greet you when you go in and they do take an interest in you.

Well what can you say? It is junk food - we all know that, but occasional (very occasionally) I succumb and dip in to a McDonalds or Burger King.On this occasion a McChicken sandwich - which turned out to be a McQuarter Pounder! So it was duly returned and replaced - and no I didn't want to keep the 1/4er either.Plastic seats, plastic trays, staff are not really interested in you or their job (mine had to return three time to the till to remind himself of the order given 30 seconds before!).OK it was cheap (under £5) but it is still junk food. Spend a bit more and get something better.

McDonald's is good if your in town and you want something unhealthy or if your on your way back from a long day then it's so easy.
