Popped into McDonald's to pick up some food 4 boxes of nuggets and 2 happy meals paid on card and get to the next window. greeted by a rely polite worker she's no more then 20 years old. With my order I asked for 20 sources 5 per box. The the shift manager comes over and takes the bag of sources slams it on the table tells the young girl off and starts to argue with me about the amount of sources she's aloud to give out I said mate my orders nearly £30. He's there laughing at me thinking it's all fun and games. I requested a refund he's said no after 15 mins of arguing I give him back the food and finally get a refund it makes me think I serve in the British Army for what so people like this can Argue over how many 11p sources you can give out. The amount of service personnel that stop and eat at these place join commutes home from camp to courses etc to be greeted by an idiot like this. Who would not last 15 mins doing my job. If any one from the store reads this you need to speak to the shift manager. Reference how he speaks to his team members and customers. Franchise has been contacted. Hope the Soure super hero does not give someone the food I handed back.im sure he's probably re-heated it. Visit was 14th

After returning our chips & complaining about how cold black & soggy they were ( like been taking out of a dustbin!) the manager shouted & told us to get out & he recognised my number plate & I’m always going there complaining! Not true I have never complained! That was my 3rd time there (no problems before) . He did not let me speak & when I said I’d phone his head office as I do not want my money back i thought he might want to know what was being served! He laugh & told me to go ahead! So I did & do you know what, they weren’t interested! I’m done with mc Donald’s for good ! Be aware if you use this mc d’s you have what you’re given & like it no matter how bad or where it’s come from ! Disgusting behaviour!

A seemless and fun dining experience (with a 2 & 4 year old) doesn’t seem heard of however, this particular Mcds made it happen. We ordered from the table using the QR code and App (easy) a lovely lady handed us some kids crayons and balloons (to keep us parents quiet 😉). Whilst the kids ran riot in the restaurant 😂. The food was delivered swiftly, fresh and warm. At the end, the lovely lady returned to clear up the carnage on the table us parents had made🤦. We all left with a happy smile. Also loved how my mobile had auto connected to O2 WiFi as the mobile signal was pretty poor there. All in all a win win. So big thanks To Ronald McDonald. 👌 for enabling us to keep the kids quiet for 30 mins 🤪

I ordered from this store via JustEat. 1 hour after ordering my food, I hadn’t received any sort of update other than what was displayed on the JustEat app, which said “ Preparing your order, your courier is waiting at the restaurant “. I assumed that maybe the store was just really busy so I was happy to remain patient. Another hour passes and I still haven’t received my food or any update. I had to chase the store, and was met with a colleague who’s customer service was shocking. She told us that we won’t be receiving our food as they are having trouble with JustEat drivers. We were told to just call JustEat and they will sort it. We contacted JustEat but had to wait for a response as it was via their app. We ordered food from somewhere else as we were clearly not getting the food we had ordered from this store. An hour later, so 3 hours after I made the original order, the JustEat app updates and says that this store are again, preparing our food. Obviously I’d already eaten by now, but was happy to take the food that I had ordered. The food arrives, and it is all stone cold. The milkshake was warm, the chips were soggy etc. It was quite obvious to me that this was the food we ordered 3 hours ago, that had clearly been sat on the side to go cold. I called the store and asked to speak to a Manager. A lady comes on the phone. I explained politely that I’d spoken to them an hour prior to ask where my order was, and the food was eventually sent out to me. However I wasn’t happy atall with the food that I had received, I explained that I believed the food I’d been sent, was the food that I was meant to receive 3 hours ago. All I got in response to my explanation, was this Manager telling me I needed to contact JustEat again. This problem wasn’t with JustEat, it was with the food that the store themselves had provided me with. When I explained to this Manager a second time that I believed the food sent to me was from 3 hours ago as it was stone cold and inedible, she simply hangs up the phone on me. Absolutely disgusting service, no accountability or apology. I would be ashamed to have Managers like this representing your business in stores. I work in Customer Service as a Manager and I wouldn’t dare treat any of my customers the way I’ve been treated today.

My visit to your McDonald's on Barrack Road in Christchurch today was nothing short of remarkable. The staff, particularly Debbie, with her vibrant pink hair, exuded warmth and efficiency. The restaurant was impeccably clean, a testament to Debbie's dedication to maintaining a spotless environment. Her customer service skills were exemplary, making me feel valued and appreciated. She is a true gem, an indispensable asset to your establishment. My overall experience at your McDonald's was exceptional, far exceeding my expectations. Standard McDonald's, they're all pretty similar. It has a drive-thru and plenty of parking. I've only generally been in the evening where it's often quieter, but have had good service and good food ! They have a good amount of seating indoors (but I can imagine it gets busy during peak times), plus I generally prefer to takeaway. And toilet facilities are available for customers too.

Deleted my previous good review or this restaurant to replace it with this 1 star review. Previously shortly after opening this was a great McDonald’s. Probably the best in the area. I now assume the reason it was good in the past was experienced managers were helping to set up the restaurant. Went there today and all previously good experiences erased. Went to the drive-thru, ordered my meal. Get to payment window and my order can’t be found. He radios his colleague, then disappears. Comes back, says systems are updating and he cannot accept any payments and it will be 2 minutes. What a bizarre time to ‘update the systems’ with a full drive-thru queue. He came back and said to wait another minute. Cars behind were now reversing the exit the drive-thru. I didn’t wait another minute just to be told to wait longer and immediately headed to the Somerford McDonald’s less than 5 minutes away in a quiet night and had my food immediately. They don’t update their systems on a busy night like the Barrack road McDonald’s but it’s my suspicion no systems were updating… Will never return. Hard to gain a loyal customer but a lot easier to lose.

My friend went here at night time to get something. On 9th May between 12 and 12:30 A.M, before he went in, he asked one of the staff outside if there were alright. On the 20th May, my friend got there got 8:00 p.m, when he got what he ordered and sat down at the table, the manager came up to him and asked him to leave. He asked why he was asked to leave. The manager said that he was banned from McDonald's and the reason why he was banned because for safety and protection of staff. The manager said that he was banned from there for 3 months. My friend didn't physically touch or do anything to the staff. He just asked if the staff was alright. The manager on the 20th May was alright. The manager on the 9th May my friend felt uncomfortable and disrespected with what the manager was doing. He was told that he can order from there, but his not allowed sit inside. The manager wasn't giving him a chance to explain. The manager on the 20th May was very understanding and he is trying to sorten the ban time. My friend has a learning disability and he couldn't understand and got confused about the situation

We visited as a family of 4 midweek, staying in the local area, a bit more of a drinkers pub but the lad behind the bar was very pleasant and happy that we wanted to eat. Good food and drinks at reasonable prices. We would have stayed longer but the free wifi didn’t work or our data, we have one teen thats addicted to her phone!!

Came here to get dinner with family, really really disappointed. What they have done is bought a load of Iceland frozen pizzas, stuck a handful of extras on the top and decided that charging £10-12 each is reasonable. Complete con operation, got “bruschetta” which was a slice of toast with cold tinned tomatoes on top which we paid >£5 for. How this place has been open for so long I have no idea, manager/owner was very brash when asked about orders, the waitresses were nice though.
