McDonald's in Aberdeen City

I am a driver and I came for a 30 min break. I waited 20 min and asked for a refund. I only ordered a coffee and a wrap... the staff are more interested in home deliveries... I do not recommend

Went in today had to wait 25 minutes for order the staff were more interested in serving the the guys picking up home delivery's absolute shambles will not be back

Waited 20 minutes to get the order ready. Spent £24 for a couple. Is this a fast food service yet (i.e. cheap and fast)? It doesn't seem so.

This is the 4th time of trying this Maccies, you think I'd learn by now, this is one of the worst I've been to. It never disappoints to disappoint. The double cheeseburger was dry and the milkshake looked and tasted like they'd stirred cocoa powder through it, wasn't cold and was far too sweet. Yak Yak, I won't be back!!!! Shame because it's local to my digs.

Hot drinks lids not on properly, got burnt pretty seriously, was also given wrong items, went in and asked to get the right ones remade, got the wrong items again.

What has happened???? Used to be a good place. Now constantly runs out of items (coffee, porridge etc), ice cream machine only occasinally working, gents toilet out of order (after having one urinal out for weeks). Went in yesterday (02/03/24) , no porridge and heating off AGAIN. The staff are still nice, but cmon McDonalds, no other restaurant i regularly visit has these issues. Be interesting to see if McDonalds regional management read this. Mcdonalds Arbroath seem to do.the best out of all.the branches I go to.

Went in and placed my order. Used the toilet and it's a disgrace. 1 urinal covered over with plastic, the other one full of urine. There was urine on the floor in the only cubicle. I waited until I was getting my order to point it out to the staff. Said to the young guy, I knew it wasn't his fault but the toilets were in a state, he shrugged and said 'nothing to do with me' and walked away. I pointed out the guy to another member of staff told him what happened and walked out. I won't be using this Mcdonalds again and if you are don't forget the sanitizer for your hands.

Always extremely long wait times, especially on the weekend. I do not understand how they cannot staff properly. Having to wait 30 minutes for food….its be faster to just go to a regular restaurant for a meal and McDonald’s is not cheap anymore. Just ridiculous

During a recent stay at the Travelodge next to McDonald’s on Inverurie Road, Bucksburn, Aberdeen, I decided to pop in and grab dinner. Sadly, the experience was far from satisfactory. After placing our order, we had to wait an astonishing 27 minutes before receiving our food. By the time I walked back to the hotel, just a 7-minute walk, the entire meal was stone cold. The mozzarella dippers, usually a favourite, were cold, hard, and completely tasteless. The 20 nuggets, burger, and quarter pounder were equally cold and had the texture of cardboard—absolutely unappealing. Even the apple pie, which is famously served piping hot, was inexplicably cold. How they managed to serve a cold apple pie is beyond comprehension; they’re usually hotter than molten lava and stay that way for ages! Hoping it was just a one-off, we gave them another chance the following morning for breakfast. However, the experience was just as dismal. The tea was lukewarm at best, and my bacon roll was hard and cold, proving that the previous night’s disaster wasn’t an isolated event. This McDonald’s has failed spectacularly in every aspect. Their level of service is completely unacceptable, and frankly, they should have their franchise revoked. Absolutely useless, an utter embarrassment to the brand.

Absolute shambles and waste of money, we have our grandchildren for a sleepover and decided on McDonald's for supper, after waiting an hour and fourth five minutes we received our order, chips were under cooked, 20 nuggets came as 18, both burgers topping were wrong, all the order stone cold and at a cost of £35.28 am wanting my money back, the just eat delivery driver tried to make a joke, but by that time I was past it, he got his tip, as I dident think it was his fault

The worst McDonalds I have been to: very average burger and the wrong coffee which was clearly over brewed and very bitter

Queuing system is atrocious never get orders correct avoid at meal times at all costs.

Same as any other McDonalds really as far as food goes, cheap and unhealthy. We were staying in the hotel next door which made it an advantage to eat here. Unfortunatly the drive through always had long queues, customers parked opposite on the double yellows rather than park and walk into the restaurant and OMG the litter! There were 5 bins yet they seemed to be always full and overflowing, a lot of customers were driving into Lidl carpark to consume their food and leaving the rubbish there. Gnereally the customers that eat here appeared to be incredibly lazy and not care about the environment, but then why should they when the staff were smoking in one corner of Lidl car park and left all the cigarette butts there!

Why do cleaners always use the same cloth to clean seats and tables?

40-50 min every Friday you will wait for your order. Never again.

Well all of knows this brand. It seems all the time are short off staff but they are doing their best. Sometimes queue is bigger than the other restaurants of this kind.

Since starting deliveries the service is really slow attention to orders need improved seems the deliveries or collection for deliveries are more important than the customers who enter the shop

My meal was warm and delicious. Don't normally go here but I fancied a treat. I was in and out in no time. Definitely going back and I recommend it.

Food is OK, exactly as in every other McDonald's. But the biggest disappointment there is the staff. Almost every single time we have to wait there for at least 20 minutes. The longest wait we experienced was 37 minutes. Let's be honest, you don't go to McDonald's to wait over half an hour for your food. It's not fast food anymore.

Small chips, straw for drink, dips & muffin missed out of mcdelivery order, and no easy way of contacting the franchise to tell them to shape up 😡- half the order not delivered! sat 6th july late 😒

They serve hot chocolate here which has a very weak taste. It seems as if they save on cocoa powder... There is no parking for bicycles at all, we used the McDonald's fence to park our bicycles.

Ordered 3 dips with my mozarella bites. Did not get any dips. No ice in drink. No napkins.

Constantly get orders wrong and slow service.

A complete joke of a take away. Waited for 45 mins for a burger chips and a drink parked in a bay. The big issue here is there’s no organisation. The orders from inside and the drive thru are put on the back burner whilst it’s all hands to the pumps to make up 500 meals which is not the bread and butter of the business. Honestly the time taken to get the food I’ve had 2 kids and a promotion.

I ordered a large big Mac meal and the new mix and math 3 for 3 option. I got 2 chicken nuggets and a chips. Only one of the chicken nuggets came, the drink and the large and small chips. My big Mac was forgotten. Very displeased.

Brand new. Has an electronic card only ordering machine. Very friendly staff and is conveniently next door to a keep fit studio. Addendum: no changes. another addendum: still no changes.

This macdonalds has went right down hill. I put an order in for mine and my children’s dinner for delivery. When it arrived, all we got was our drinks and McFlurrys, all of our hot food was missing!! Tried phoning them on 13occasions. To which 3 of those times we phoned, we were hung up on!!! They’ve lost my custom for sure! Never ordering from here again! Very rude and very poor service!

While waiting for food was Looking into the kitchen I counted four eggs and half buns lying on the floor cleanliness obviously isn't important to the management in this store.

Absolute chaos tonight, not sure what happened but they were clearly having difficulties in handling the orders. Instead of suspending service the carried on leaving for over an hour to receive their orders.

Just taken over an hour to get 2 meals. Drive through should have been shut until You caught up on orders inside and out. McFlurry was fully melted that was handed over and wouldn’t swap.

Guys clearly run out of small cut onions for Big Mac, so they replaced it with onions that are used for a quarter pounder. Which is sweet. Good choice 👏🏼

The manager there was so helpful and there were some teenagers being rowdy and they were asked to leave. We easily found a place for 8 of us to sit together and the table was clean.

Avoid at all costs. Go to any other McDonald's in Aberdeen. It took over half an hour to get served and was not even that busy. They also managed to mess up the order.

This McDonald's is always really busy. Last visit was a click and collect (to save time) ended up waiting for half an hour before we got our order. Food is OK, definitely not as good as other McDonald's I've been too.

Food was cold, service was very slow, no fault of staff as place was very busy, they all looked like robots going through the motion, feel like standing waiting for a bus.

packed with delivery drivers shouting to get their order, chips that taste either like micro chips or stone cold limp poison, staff standing about with no clue, place is filthy and incapable of getting orders right. Stood there for 20 minutes granted it was busy, but in 20 minutes they had three complaints, once of which was because they couldn't remember to put chicken and bacon in a salad. How hard can it be ???

The worst McDonalds anywhere. If you’re ordering online or going through the drive through you’ll be fine. They only take orders on but don’t hand any out. The food was just mounting up on their stand without anyone handing them out with people eating up to 30 MINUTES AND STILL NO FOOD!

40mins for fried rubbish. If it wasn't for the pester power of children I would never set foot in here.

Going through the drive-through tonight, met by the worst customer service we’ve ever encountered. Young male that started raising his voice and speaking very rude, sounded like he didn’t want to be there… We waited 20mins for our food, and waited at the payment window for 10minutes and nobody came up to the window to serve us. This was appalling and never going back

Absolute joke, order food without cheese on click and collect to get home for toddler's bed time only to discover loads of cheese on both sides of burger. Out of a hour of calling the place to try rectify their mistake I was answered then hung up on 7 time and left to ring out on all the other attempts, full meal wasted!!!!

The quest for a cheeseburger on the outskirts of Aberdeen led us to an inevitable stop at this McDonald's. I downloaded the McDonald's app on my smart mobile device and decided to try and complete all the rewards in this nest software package. (I'll need another visit for this!) My order was completed on the big menu board at the front of the store and I'm guessing that order is then beamed into the kitchen by high tech satellite for the team to prepare my order. The kitchen team must've lost some of the instructions on Big Mac assembly in the kitchen as mine arrived with a unique, limited edition set up. Top Bun (crown) Middle Bun (the club) Meat Meat Bottom Bun (heel) You didn't have to be Columbo to work out that it was chaos in the kitchen. Fortunately I didn't have to be Gordon Ramsey to perform the deconstruction surgery to assemble the burger correctly. And you definitely didn't need to be Jay Raynor to appreciate the fantastic taste of a Big Mac. I'd definitely come back and play the equivalent of Big Mac 'Operation" again!

Fries 🍟 not cooked and burger was missing ingredients, so put it back then got overcooked fries 🍟 with the odd uncooked fries which I found weird lol fries soaked in grease , and Big Mac was bland , poor show guys

I had a decent meal here last night apart from the onion in my McFlurry, it was quite a surprise when I found a slice of raw onion in my McFlurry which wasn’t the greatest thing to find. The rest of the food was quite good and everything was cooked well.

Worse McDonald's there is!! Avoid at all costs! Ypu are told to park along the road and walk in to order - as they can't be bothered to do the drive thru. Staff attitude terrible, 20 minute wait for food that was cold when it arrived. Doesn't even warrant 1 star but there isn't an option for no stars.

Usual chips only for me as no gluten free options. Chips were a bit under cooked.

Slow service. Staff chatting with all the huge amount of delivery people. Delivery people hanging around. Not very family friendly or pleasant environment. They put their dirty keep warm bags right where people’s food is layed. You need to remodel so they aren’t in the public areas.

Ordered large quarter pounder with cheese meal and got charged £12.59 5 mins up road from hotel and it was stone cold and not edable ,also charged me for delivery when I use free delivery on just eat app.

Few people in and place was carnage! Yet two servers standing talking while customers stood waiting on thier lunch break. Took over 5mins for a toffee latte and extra expresso. Long wait could of forgive it but to be served a flat white instead of a toffee latte! just proved to me you get what you pay for! Pay peanuts get monkeys. Costa or starbucks from now on

Chicken selects tasted dry as if they'd been left out for half the day, our order was wrong as well, based off the 3 other people that were there to complain about the same issue it seems it was a common occurrence that night

Ordered food at 9:00 pm, waited half an hour to see if food would appear. Went up to the till to ask where my food was, and I was told that I couldn't get my food or a refund.

Consistently requesting cars to park along the entire road, obstructing traffic flow and inconveniencing other customers, all in an attempt to maximize order volume instead of efficiently processing orders through the queue and providing prompt service at the window. The concept of a drive-through is to place your order at the window and receive your food at the next window, not to park on the street and endure a 20-minute wait while staff locate you amidst a disarray of parked cars, resulting in stale food. To compound the issue, missing items from orders are a recurring problem.

Went to McDonald's today 19:30. There's a woman who works there dark hair long pleated pony tail.... I dunno how much she makes an hour but she needs a pay rise! Was so nice and had things under control when it was so busy, and was helpful despite incredibly rude delivroo drivers. Didn't see her name but she needs a pay rise. General public are so angry and horrible yet she was nice and helped everyone of them. Thank you. I had a rubbish day at work and patiently waited as the place was being busy. Made my day. Got extra sauce which I didn't need ask of in the end so returned.

Absolutely horrified at the deliveries from here, every single time i order something is wrong and is left. Phone them and get told to go back on the just eat app and request another delivery for items and that isn’t even possible to do.

It is currently 10.54 I've ordered a hash brown and a cheesy bacon flat bread it hasn't arrived in 10 mins my freinds ordered 1 hashbrown and has been waiting 20 mins vile be better

Absolutely shocking complaint handling from the shift manager at Bucksburn Mcdonalds! I drove 20mins home after picking up a meal via drive thru to realise they didn't include a patty in the burger, drove back 20mins and asked to rectify this and replace the stone cold fries - pretty reasonable request - the manager ( red headed female with glasses, shift Wednesday 30th August 9.30pm ) hands back the original food with stone cold fries with the addition of the patty. Understandably I am not okay with this. And she refused to recognise the issue caused by her team. Another team member ( tall guy with long brown hair ) stepped in and provided a fresh replacement. Point blank- Demote the pathetic excuse of a 'manager' and promote the guy that dealt with my complaint so efficiently and was very apologetic about the situation.

It's not very often I post these reviews but this is not a great one and maybe just staff having a rubbish shift but getting order wrong twice even though was clearly written on the label that the restaurant printed off. Then having to wait while they sorted order meaning rest of meal went cold while waiting. The staff where more concerned about what they where doing at the weekend then what customers actually needed/wanted . But like I said I hope this was just a bad day for staff
