McDonald's in Aberdeen City

Lot of items unavailable. Food was cold. Spoke to the staff, got another burger which was just as bad. Won't be using this restaurant again.

Really poor compared to other resteraunts.

Fries up and down, a lot of the time they do not taste fresh. More dodgy potatoes than they've been left sitting in the drying rack. I don't think I've ever gotten a Coca-Cola that tastes like it's supposed to. Too watered down or sometimes even mixed up with Coke Zero. I'm not sure why it's so difficult to get it right?

I ordered a Cheese burger, it was very tasty, they cooked it quickly but didn't give it to me right away. The place is not bad and deserves 4-5 stars.

the lettuce on mine and my boyfriends burgers were BROWN and rotting, like actually sloppy and slimy. Reported through just eat and got credit back but it just wasn’t even worth it

Food always good, but service appalling. 100% of times I have went to the drive thru, even for a small order, I have been told to park up and have to wait 15 mins + for food, whilst drive thru queue grows larger. Premises clearly not equipped properly as all other Mcdonalds in Aberdeen are quick

Waited 20 mins in a drive through queue after paying for the food, Didn’t receive the correct order. Staff on the serving window are useless. Called to make this point was hung up on. Worst McDonald’s in Aberdeen.

tonight I ordered a delivery from McDonald's bridge of Don through just eat. was the worst delivery we have ever had normally don't have any issues. we waited well over an hour for our food to come . when it finally did arrive the food was stone cold. the updates I got was always saying it coming but never did come in time. very disappointed and it has put me off ordering online from McDonald's again .1/10 👎

Ordered breakfast and sat down only for 10 minutes to pass and the time being 11am and staff saying they have stopped breakfast. Even with us ordering before hand. Then given a cash refund in a handful of loose change and told to order lunch menu. After doing so the burgers came out within minutes and stone cold. Asked a member of staff and he said he goes to KFC for his lunch as it’s a lot better

6AM ordered pancakes at the drive thru and they forgot the syrup. Went back 20 mins later and asked for the whole meal to be changed. The first member of staff said NO. Spoke to the the manager and only he saw there was a good case to have everything replaced.

Generally, the slowest Maccy D's drive-through. Access is quite awkward as well, leaving cars queuing onto the road

Shocking tonight, parked in a bay and no food arrived 30mins after order even though people came parked ordered inside and left with their food. went inside to see what’s up and order not even being prepped, once it was half the items missing now at 40mins from order. Some food like warm but not waiting to have it re made. Manager needs training in customer satisfaction/resolution as gave impression that couldn’t care less!!

Do not eat in. Staff are far too busy with drive thru and deliveroo to deal with eating in. It took several minutes before someone came and took my order and ten minutes before my order was ready.

honestly this is one of the best mcdonalds ive been to, entirely because of the staff. staff went above and beyond with service, like quickly cleaning the table once we sat down, and the woman who delivered my mother her coffee asking if she wanted sugar, and when she asks for some cold water the woman asked if she wanted ice, then gave her a small cup with ice cubes. at the end of the meal a staff member took our tray to clean and all staff were very polite. our food came very quick and was hot and fresh. definitely recommend!

Really long wait compared to other McDonald's and no sits at all. Also music was too loud and just meh overall

The time you have to wait in the drive through is joke. Quicker going to the new drive thru at kitterbrewster.

You have to ask for salt, and sometimes they get the order wrong, but overall it's McDonald's as it usually is!

We ordered a Happy Meal (4 nuggets) when the child opened the box, it turned out that one had been bitten. They gave one napkin for four people; there is no stand with napkins and sauces. I went to ask for napkins and sauce, I had to wait 10 minutes until the staff came up.

Only ever go there occasionally, but go to this McDonald’s as I pass it on the way home but won’t be going back. Waited 50 minutes in the drive thru, it was a Saturday evening so I was expecting it to be busy but 50 minutes is ridiculous. Finally got to the final window to be told I would have to wait longer for my apple pie to be ready, at that point I just told them to take it off as I wasn’t willing to wait longer. Wasn’t till I got home that I noticed they also got my order wrong.

Jesus christ I've ate at many McD's in my time but this has to be the most shambolic and slowest service. Waited nearly 40 minutes after placing the order for two cheeseburgers. They should be closing the drive thru off for a bit to clear the backlog during busy times.

I would advise to avoid this McDonald’s. Always under staffed, always making cars park up to make it look like the drive thru is moving but making you wait 20/30 mins for ‘fast’ food. Really went downhill I recent years. McDonald’s should really be looking into their franchises and making sure they are up to standard.

They are all far 2 young,& 2 even no how 2 cook & a Burger, No i mean defrost A Burger fresh no chance even the lettuce is brown or a floppy yellow there,s no cleanliness you stick 2 there floors & that's every Mcdonald,s in Aberdeen!

Awful place, 30 min in drive thru, no milkshakes working in this place ever!! Don't bother, go some where else, I suggest Burger King.

Ordered in the restaurant and waited 45 minutes to just watch our food sat ready after the first 10 minutes, not get packaged. Manager on shift was inexperienced and only engaged with us when multiple complained and asked directly for him, other then that he watched us ask the staff when our food would be ready and their response simply was “I’ll go make it now” and then proceeded to only serve drive through customers. Furthermore, the manager couldn’t refund us properly, resulting in us waiting for an hour for nothing.

We popped in Wednesday night around half 9 after a show in Aberdeen. Wasn't busy but order took forever. When it came the coke was flat and tasted disgusting, the milkshakes were melted and the big mac I ordered was one of the worst I've ever had. Complained about the coke but the manageress couldn't have been less interested. Had to ask for sauce, napkins, etc as none given with the meals. Has to be the worst Mcdonalds I've been in and won't be rushing back.

The supervisor or manager blonde young tal female long air have being very rude she should have some manners to guests and respect everyone and be polite you should review your management!!!

I bought dinner for me and my kids that came fine but when I ordered 3 McFlurrys and none came, bloody disgrace.

Stuck at the last window at the drive through for 35 minutes. The server disappeared. Could clearly see they were packing up the delivery orders & restraunt customers as a priority. When I finally received my food I got no apology in waiting sooooooo long ! Looked in the bag the fries were spilled out all over . Wrappers on the buns was all loose. All the food was FREEZING. Fries were cold & hard. Looked like they just threw everything in the bag. It was like a lucky bag !

Your usual McDonald's experience, Just like every branch. Not so many parking spaces in this area, so be mindful of eating in. However, We did table service, there were 4 of us and all our food came on 1 tray, Which was a bit disappointing and felt cluttered.

Honestly this has gotta be the worst macdonalds in the whole of Britain! KFC just across the road from it. I’d recommend to go there. McFlurry machine never working, wrong orders, cash only at times….. just a shambles of a place!

Slow at the best of times and usual end up having to wait for food that's got no alterations. To be honest, you're better going to any of th other drive through nearby. Far more reliable.

Not impressed but have today very busy

Terrible service, completely ignored. Place full of incompetent staff that could be replaced by monkeys and do a better job. I waited 15-20 min for a single mc flurry, and ended up having to get a refund, and brushed off as if this wasn’t even an issue. There were no other orders in the queue!!!!!!!!!

The food was lovely, everything arrived very fast and was warm. The food quality was outstanding. We really enjoyed eating it. The drinks were filled to the brim which was lovely to see that they didn’t cheap out. Overall the experience was good. They food arrived 20min earlier which was nice. The only concern was that the seal on the food was broken which made us slightly concerned that possibly some food is missing or something unpleasant happened. We checked evening though and nothing was wrong. Also one of the burgers looked like it was smashed by someone’s hand, but still tasted good. The raspberry and chocolate pie was delicious.

Pathetic turnaround time. Every time I'm here cooked food is stacked high and ignored while customsers wait. It's like opening day every day. Staff amble around aimlessly and don't help clear baglog. Probably the worst run Mcdonalds I've ever been in.

We regularly visit this place. Today I particularly told that last time both the nuggets and selects were not given fresh. Even after pointing out issue today again received the same kind of food which is not fresh. When I was saying that, the shift manager was there who didn’t even responded to me. This is definitely not the way to treat the customer. Thanks

Hope you like waiting 25 minutes waiting in the drive through, as well as getting the wrong order and so t expect a full cup or expect ice to come with it. Why don't McDonalds spit in my face while they are at it?

Not that this review will make any difference, but here it is anyway, got table service here from, don't know her name, wasn't asked if we wanted sauce etc, never received napkins, when asked for these things, she rolled her eyes.......think staff training is required eh........also food was cold and coke was warm.

Ordered meal via screen. No receipt! Manager provided new receipt..helpful Never have Milkshakes! Food NEVER Hot....just luke warm! Never understand this!

We used the drive thru and was asked to wait before giving our order. Eventually our order was taken and we drove round to the window to pay, to be told the computer system had crashed. We again waited and this time waited a considerable time before we were told that now we needed to go in the store and order again. Very frustrating, we now had queued twice! We then took our order to the car and found that our hot drinks weren’t hot, so again had to return to the store and ask for fresh drinks that are hot. Not a great visit at all!!!

Sadly as is the case at all McDonald’s nowadays walk-in customers are viewed with contempt and come last behind drive thru and your Deliveroo and JustEat delivery drivers. I waited fifteen minutes for burger and chips and only when I complained was my order sorted only to be given the wrong food. It isn’t the fault of the staff as they are clearly told who to prioritize but a solution needs to be found and quickly.

Waited 30 minutes for them to bring out my food, gave up and went in, they nearly wouldn't let me in as they had decided to close the store due to a leak. They claimed they didn't have anything waiting to go out, then suddenly my food was ready immediately and when I got back to my vehicle, found to be cold. It seems like they didn't want to go out in the rain so didn't bother and continued serving the drive through and other customers and then just left it sitting going cold, and I doubt they would have brought it to me if I hadn't gone in. Very disappointing. I understand they couldn't stay open, but they clearly decided that well after I should have had my order.

Our food was cold by the time we got home. We are only 4 mins away from McDonald's.

Has burgers, nuggets and the likes. The normal you expect. Do they ever have shakes? Is that machine ever not broken? Getting a shake from them is always hit or miss. If Aberdeen ever get a visit from Nigel Farage, don't waste your time queueing here. Update - Click and collect. Never had a correct order from them. Always missing something. A drink, some fries or even a burger. And the staff always look harassed and in a rush. When they look rushed, that the times you need to check.

Outstanding service, the food is warm and delicious. Staff are very friendly. I’m writing this in one hand while I’m eating my burger. Could not wait to finish my meal then write a review. When it’s good I have to admit it. Thanks guys.

Easily the worse mcdonalds in the areas. Always slow service and never seem to have mcflurrys at any time. Would avoid and find another McDonalds TBH.

Terrible customer service. Lady at the last window clearly didn’t want to be working tonight. Giving us dirty looks as we checked our order so we quickly drove off and lo and behold, we were missing items and customised food wasn’t done. Not the first time. Wasn’t given a receipt either so couldn’t even question it.

Food is fine enough but almost every time i go to this particular mcdonalds they always get something wrong in my order, like its thats hard to read an order 🤦🏻‍♂️. Just got an order from here not long ago and instead of 3 chicken selects i got a box of 6 nuggets and i was also missing 1 large cheeseburger meal. Thats just a shambles if you ask me and not good enough

Had to cancel our order at the drive through paid by cash and the female at tills couldn't count out £1.07 in change she counted 3 times and then got her phone out then went to the window to collect the food and we wàited 8 minutes then to be told half our order was ready we were told to grill park yet you had a few delivery drivers coming in to pick up food while we waited so they are more important!! Very disappointed

It was a very wonderful experience

Standard McDonald's food - hit the spot as we were needing a quick snack - & my grandson loved the electronic games there. But it was VERY busy, we'd to wait a while for our food & the tables weren't being cleared often/well enough.

Yesterday my wife left her cell phone here, and the manager was very responsible and kept the phone until we found it missing and went back to look for it. He returned the phone intact to my wife. Thank you very much and wish all the best to the loved ones!

asked them for a pot of pickles and they gave me basically the entire serving for probably about 7 big macs 😍😍😍😍

At the drive through tonight, i was tired and drove past the order box without stopping only realised at the pay window, it was no problem ! They took my order and my food was served almost straight away, considering how busy they were i got excellent service and a cheery attitude. I was really pleased. Well done to all the staff/team

Literally the worst McDonalds in Aberdeen. Waited over 15 mins in a queue just to get into the car park, then waited over 25 mins for my click and collect order. How can they be so slow?! Never seen such an appalling "fast food" place.

For a company founded on burgers and milkshakes, this has to be the worst mcdonalds for having milkshakes available.

Quality has gone down over priced

Terrible from start to finish, took 20 minutes to get through drive through with only 2 cars in front, girl got the order wrong ,then they forgot the drink, parked up on their car park to eat only to find out half the fries were missing, went into restaurant to complain and when I got back to my car all the food was cold. Couldn't be bothered to go back again, what a waste of £20. Certainly won't be going there again. Wish you could give no stars.
