McDonald's in East Ayrshire

For some reason the car park spaces are tiny, making it quite difficult to park!

Messed up my order, but fixed it very quick..

Tasty breakfast but breakfast burger looked a mess... albeit it was tasty with good service

Only got 2 out of 3 chips for meals

Food and coffee were Luke warm staff more interested in having a chat than providing customers with warm food and drink.

So happy the McRib is back. Why don't they keep it on the menu????

Chips almost empty and each portion has a different amount in it. No napkins offered or put in take away bag, no salt and pepper, continually have to check order and ask for missing items. Stevenston store never reply to reviews either!

Ordered food, never received full order

It's McDonald's – a favorite for both kids and adults, so we keep coming back. However, our recent experiences have been disappointing. After a great first McDelivery experience, the second time around was less than ideal. Even though we live just 10 minutes away, the food arrived cold, and an item was missing. When I called Uber, they said they had put in the refund request, but directed me to McDonald's for a refund if I didn't receive anything in 14 days, I still haven't received anything. This was frustrating enough that I decided not to use McDelivery again. Today, we opted for a family meal pick-up, and again, four items were missing from our order. Luckily, we caught it before leaving the drive-thru, but it just added to the recent string of issues. McDonald's, please improve. It shouldn't be this much of a hassle.

Large fries ... half filled container!

Every time I order from this joke of a restaurant there’s something missing, like who do they actually hire to this Macdonalds? A bunch of incompetent idiots who can’t read an order off a screen and remember the items, disgraceful and ill not be ordering in the future, disgraceful

Food was good nice and warm makes things faster with the McDonald’s app. Just wish they’d give better monopoly peels 🤣. Only thing is the milkshake always tastes like banana

I have never met a more incompetent bunch of idiots in my life. Every order has at least one thing wrong. I would expect to get what I paid for. Now I’m loosing out on money because of it!

As I entered this fine establishment, raring at the fact of my meal being devoured, I was treated ghastly by one of the employee after that horrid experience my food arrived and I concluded to the fact it was stone cold!!! Ruined my night and will ruin the foreseeable future, also my good friend was being slightly assaulted by a member of staff

Very clean and quiet when we arrived. No waiting for our order, and it was brought to table for us. Food was hot & we enjoyed it (been many months since our last McDonald's visit). Got very busy as we were leaving, so seems to be a popular location.

Stopped at this McDonald's, the food was cold, the staff looked very sad for some reason and when I said the food was cold all i got was its not my fault from the staff wont be stopping here again if driving that way again

After waiting 35 minutes I got my burgers and chips cold. And I noticed that almost everyone was complaining there. Worst worst MacDonald's branch in Glasgow.

it was a drive through so cant put anything about atmosphere…i had a quarter pounder with cheese and it was the largest burger ive ever had at a macdonalds. it was,way way bigger than the bun and was well,filled2 and delicious. the service was slow

I have been in this place a few times and every time I go in the employee "Irene" is always so helpful and friendly. She helps make it a really friendly atmosphere.

Busy, modern McDonald's with all of the usual services, including a drive-through. Spacious interior, fast service, with the usual standard of food you expect from the franchise. Parking is tight, and the drive-through is usually very busy due to the location. I wouldn't recommend this as a restaurant with a pleasant outdoor area to eat. It's fine to grab a bite as you're passing through.

As a night shift worker I can send fir an order on a regular basis. Sometimes I get a breakfast.. And always not just sometimes I never have a complete order from this Mcdonald. On Friday 07/06/24 I ordered a Chicken select meal with milk shake, chicken nuggets (6) a mcflurry and a side salad. I put in a note to remember dips and sauces selected, as I never get them . After 30 mins driver arrived. On opening up , No surprise , as usual, no dips , but the £1.09 salad was to say least Abysmal. I have pictures of this one slice of tomatoes and 3 bits of lettuce.. No balsamic. And looks nothing like their add for it. Yes it's a busy restaurant and drive through, but if staff can't even be bothered to read and ensure orders are complete, why should we bother using it!? Iv lost count of the missing extra hashbrowns found missing from breakfast orders , so paying for something driving home not to have it is a let down, cist more to drive back, so each time thrown money out the window. I wish I could post picture of salad.

I asked for a large plane cheeseburger meal and got a medium drink

It's just another McDonalds restaurant. But it is serving the goods you know and love.

Ordered Sausage Egg McMuffun 'deal'and the operator rang through a 'meal' £2.79 vs 5.79. Made us wait to pay in silence for about 5 mins while he counted coins, no explanation, no apology, not even a smile. We queried the price and was told your ordered a 'meal' as if it was pur fault. Didn't have time to argue but literally cost £3 extra for a hash brown. Will not go back, bad attitude

Ice coffee is simply nearly 90% crushed ice, hardly able to call it coffee. Burgers are soggy and fries taste like rubber. Service slow and questionable, place overly busy and needs a good clean up.

Overly complicated touch screens that have been out of receipt tape that gives you your order number leaving you watching staff run about like headless chickens trying to figure out which order is yours...slightly better than organised chaos Management should really up their game when it comes to organisation they fall drastically short ... if this is how front of house looks it doesn't paint a pretty picture of the kitchen you can't see

Just had a big mac (no cheese). What a disappointment. Mcdonalds cutting back, too? Contents as follows. 1 roll, 1 burger, 1 sllice of gherkin, and 6 tiny squares of onion. NO TOMATOE, NO LETTUCE.

Went here through the drive thru. Food was fine. Took a while to come but hot so was fresh. No napkins received though, which is annoying when we used drive thru.

Grabbed a coffee and a burger, while normally pretty standard coffee (and drinkable )wasn’t as good as usual. Couldn’t be bothered going back in to get it changed.

Always check that the staff have put everything you’ve ordered in your bag when going through the drive through. On a regular basis, they manage to mess up whether it be missing out items, or putting incorrect items in. This happens at quiet times, so I can’t even give them the benefit of being super busy and rushing through orders. Perhaps better staff training on how to read and check the order receipts?

I eat there once a week, sometimes for breakfast and other times for a main meal, I have never really had any problems with this McDonald's restaurant, I like it.

Gotta love a MacDs ice cream 🍦 Really like this McDs. Great service. Seems to be well organised. Even on a busy Sat a/noon.

One of the I think managers as didn't have same uniform on as rest she had bleached blond hair with black roots no name badge was rude I was missing an item and she just threw the item at me no apology said have this as its a spare which it was probably mine in the first place. Whilst in the que she was speaking to a staff member extremely rude and pointing her finger at him very unprofessional. Thus was on Saturday 6th Jan at around 8.30pm

Ordered a latte going through the drive thru left the drive thru and had a drink of the latte and it was cold, now I visit various McDonald's up and down the country and they are good at getting the staff to make continuous latte's as the shop gets busy and so when your meal is ready then your latte's cold. So I had to go back and get my latte changed and I wasn't very happy with the shop wasting my time.

Standard McDonald's, only got a Oreo mcflurry drive thru. Ice cream was a bit too creamy than it usually is and not much ice.

I orderer from just eat or uber eats and you cheeky poos didn’t give my sister her dinner now my mom has to order her more dinner cuz u selfish poopies didn’t give it

If you want a lovely friendly atmosphere and piping hot food then I'd definitely recommend this McDonald's, the staff are a lovely breath of fresh air they're always making sure the place is clean and tidy, nothing is a bother to them and if your having difficulty using the app they gladly help you out, they are especially good with kids giving them paper and crayons to keep them occupied while waiting for their meal this is how a fast food restaurant should be run not like most we've tried.

They can never get an order right! The past 6 times I have been there . I do mean 6 times! They have forgotten something . I have collected once my wife drive through 3 times and other 2 was delivered and always something missing. Cheese burgers wrong size of fries.

Wouldn't normally write a review but when your spending 30 + pound on 3 kids meals and 2 adults and constantly missing items is disgraceful. Again today I ordered a big tasty meal at 8.99 which just wasn't even there I got a plain hamburger at 1.10 instead. Absolute joke. Either kids toys or items are missing and for a hungry wain isn't easy to deal with. Either train your staff to actually read orders or if your mega busy then get real staff to help. This has happened 5 times ina. Row and counting now. Scandalous won't be ordering again.

Standard Mcdonalds although limited by space for the drive thru so usually busy with a big queue

It's a drive thru, It's a franchise, It's McDonalds, As good as it gets, no issues with the service and everything as expected. They did manage to take the cheese out as requested which doesn't always happen at McDs. Happy to go again.

Had to wait a long time for my order at this store and it wasn't even busy. Then the girl asked me are you waiting on an order? I said yes and she lifted a bag with my order that had been sitting since just after I ordered.

Meal was perfect, tasty, hot, freshly made and quick service

Don't know why they position the air-con vents the way they do. We changed seats a few times to try and avoid the cold air, but it didn't matter where we sat, it still got us. It also made our food cold very quickly. Bloody annoying. 😡

Staff are friendly in most helpful even if something missing from they are certainly most helpful in fixing the meal etc keep up the good work guys & girls.

Ordered black coffee and tea we got hot chocolate and white coffee,we did not complain as we were in a hurry.

Good experience chips were hot and salted they had strawberry milkshake yes it's true. Even though it was busy the food came quick.

This is not the McDonald’s I usually go to, but it is my best experience at McDonald’s in years. I went through the drive-thru and was given my food without having to take a parking space. The food was good. I had a BigMac, which was beautifully presented - well for McDonald’s - there was no salad all over the bag, and no cheese stuck to the inside of the box, rather than on the burger. Stuff were also helpful and kind. Great experience.

Just used the drive through here. It's McDonalds. There all the same. However I was here around tea time and the service was quite quick.

Delicious Menu, clean toilets and super friendly staff! One lady brought a cup of water for our dog and kept an eye on her when we were inside! The car park is quite chaotic, not enough space for all the cars.

Not my usual local McD. Stopped on way back from the hospital. Was cheared up by a perfect burger, fries & chicken selects. Service was quick & efficient. Only negative is that the carpark is quite small as it is shared with the travelodge.
