I have been waiting over 2 hours for my food and it came cold and the woman on the phone was very mean and disrespectful

food was 2 hours to be delivered and when it arrived it was cold and utterly vile! Ordering at 6.50 and getting food at gone 9 is absolutely ridiculous when you pay £4 for delivery! This place needs shutting down it's absolutely revolting!

food was half hour late .... and it said it was delivered when it wasn't I had to call the shop to ask what had happened and they said it was on its way. the food was Luke warm when I got it. clearly had been at the end of there delivery run.

Chicken balls were a bit soggy and the chips were old.

Honestly can't fault a single thing. Everything arrived piping hot and fresh. Batter was absolutely perfect and crispy. Everyone thought the food was delicious, not a scrap left over. 10 out of 10

called the shop for updates and was told delivery was on its way although app had updated saying delivered. Food was cold when delivered and chips were like rubber

Marked delivered before it arrived. Food wasn’t nice. Box had been sitting too long. Everything soggy. Could cut the sauce with a knife

ordered at 6:15pm and the food came at 7:55pm

Food was absolutely rotten. Worst takeaway I’ve ever had. Chicken didn’t even taste like chicken, the box it came in felt like it had been dropped in a puddle on the way in. Chips seemed like they had been sat in a bath for a week they were that soggy. Curry sauce was that lumpy you’d need to use a spoon to put it on your food. Won’t be using again.

took 2 hours for delivery from time order was placed. I think this is unacceptable. Quite clearly more drivers are required. Updates were constantly coming through. My first delivery time was 8.30. even an hour and 20 mins is to long. Eventually food was delivered at 9.10 after order was placed at 7.05.

Food is usually good from here but find them to be far too heavy handed on the salt ..tonight was different story the food was inedible the chips and onion rings were soggy and cold as if the had been sitting for hours and had been reheated and the chicken balls were stone cold all were put in bin . i tried calling the shop with no answer it has really put me off ordering from here again

Ordered two 3in1 trays and it has to be the worst fried rice, chips and sweet n sour sauce I have ever had

App showed food was delivered half an hour before actually being delivered

Great takeaway places our go to for Chinese food. Definitely one of the best around and quick service too, even through Just Eat! Food always arrives hot and we are rarely disappointed. It lost a star as my daughter wasn’t a fan of her pork noodle dish, but my husband ate it happily for dinner the following night 😂

The curry was quite bland I did ask for mild but I didn't think it would effect the flavour that much. Honey chilli chicken was fantastic as always best I have had from any Chinese takeaway. Chips were the real let down they were re-fried and not much potato left just crispy hard chip. I will be ordered again as I love the Honey chilli chicken but I do hope the chips will be better next time.

Nice food, piping hot. So glad they have Tofu on the menu! So few restaurants offer it.

satay sauce was like sewer water, chicken balls were rotten, don't know how you managed to mess up chips 🤣 lot a jakies running this place, never again 😷

The food was great quality and very tasty plus the portions are large which we were very pleased about! It was also delivered early however we were disappointed that we did not receive prawn crackers with our order which nearly came to £40

Terrible experience from the restaurant, and not for the first time. Over 2 hours to have the ordered delivered. No updates on delay, and when requesting a refund for an obscene wait, was met with a blunt no. Food cold on delivery. Scandalous service

First order came. Poor quality. Called restaurant had to wait over an hour for replacement. Had to give the delivery driver the meal that was terrible quality which was in the bin, so had to give him it out the bin as he wouldn’t leave without it. Never had this problem before. Usually good meal. This has put me off.

Totally the wrong order delivered. Tried calling the phone number to get it sorted but phone was clearly off the hook. Shambles !!!

Ordered from here a few times & food has been good. Last order though was given delivery time of 1hr. Time came, went & had an enjoy your food update. Tried to call, couldn't get through so sent a message. Updated delivery time of another hour was given. Food arrived over 2hrs after original delivery time. Called the restaurant over 81 times but was constantly engaged. Won't be ordering again, unfortunately. I don't mind a wait as long as I know but that's poorly managed. We nearly cancelled.

I’m really disappointed, was told this was the best Chinese in the area, duck dry bland, full of onions (too many). Thought I had not confirmed rice, phoned the shop they said rice was on order, No rice arrived! Chips cold, chick satay also packed out with onions, When ordering meal you should be asked with rice or chips ect, only decent thing was pork dumplings delicious as expected, everything else packed out with onions. Waste of over 30.00 :(,

Last time I ordered it was lovely but seriously went downhill. Was absolutely rank this time. Went in the bin. Containers caved in and curry sauce all over the bag aswell

I ordered a box with two sausages two chicken balls chips and curry sauce, left message to have sauce separate was totally ignored, also the I was shocked when realised the sausages were actually two hotdogs from a tin !!!! Absolute disgrace! I phoned to complain and was told by a Scottish girl that no one speaks English and I’m not a cook!!!! Disgraceful way to treat a customer who just paid nearly £16 for my whole order !!!! Never again

All wrong items delivered. Rang store 38 times and no answer. £30 gone in the bin.

Ordered for pick up. Happy Meal chicken balls come with a bangin curry sauce. Fried rice was a little underseasoned for my taste. Veg was incredibly fresh and full of flavour. 9.8/10 😋

Chips were undercooked they went straight in the bin, can’t complain about the curry it was decent.

Disgusting. Food was over 40 minutes late and had to chase it up twice. This was after waiting an hour and 45 minutes from ordering. Food arrived cold, prawn crackers were stale and had a weird chemical smell and taste, chips had obviously been re-heated several times were hard and disgusting. Chicken balls were burnt. Chicken chow mein noodles were dry and had little to no veg at all Gravy that sat on the top was thick congealed gloop while thing went in the bin. Same every time we order from just eat. Will not be ordering from this restaurant or just eat again.

More than an hour late. Phone engaged do they must have taken it off the hook. Absolute joke. If you can’t deliver don’t put the time on just eat and people are disappointed. Shocking.

I ordered chicken curry and beef curry both arrived very bland. The tiniest bit of curry sauce just rice and chicken.i ordered prawn crackers, I didn’t recive them and when i called up I was told we revived them when I infact didn’t. My worst takeaway experience.

Usually order here every Friday but Crispy chicken was more than crispy…. Burnt ! … cremated infact chips were triple cooked then triple cooked again , beef was stringy .. not a good experience tonight!

2nd time iv delivered on the app and it's took well over the estimated time and when I called the shop after an hour to ask why my order is still sitting as accepted in the app they said waiting on drivers comming back then waited another half hour after that for it to come

They won't bother letting you know your food is ready via the app or phone if you order and pay on line even if it sits there for over 80 min...your order will just sit there saying order accepted. Poor communication

Don’t be miserable and pay another £20 for fuel money and get another driver to cover when you are busy. Driver that delivered was friendly and apologetic for a 2 hour wait. It’s not his or her place to cover up for the shops incompetence on keeping customers happy.

Waited hours for delivery had to contact the restaurant for update then waited again. It eventually came and I had already lost interest

Food was 40 minutes late after having an estimated time of 1-1 1/2 hours. Called them and all they could tell me is it was on its way. Chips cold and hard, chow mein room temperature. Second time this has happened here, won’t be back.

Food is excellent, I’d say it’s the best Chinese I’ve had, ordered our food and it came within 20 minutes which is amazing!

Actually thought this was the other Golden Valley and went to the wrong place to start with but fair enough, portions were pretty good, plenty of meat not just filled with veg, tasted brilliant and I'd say pretty good value as well. We've tried about half a dozen Chinese places since we moved here and think we have finally found the one! Collection could have been better though, arrived (late as we'd went to the other place) and had to wait quite a while for the food even though it was marked as ready. Hopefully better next time!

It has been over 2 hours and still has not arrived. It said it got delivered after the original delivery time but it hadn't. I asked for an update from the restaurant and it said that there was a delay until half 9. It still hasn't arrived but says that it has.

If u like your egg fried rice and cow mein swimming in gravy then thats for you. They we missing items and i sat over an hour waiting. No drinks either. I was told their driver was too busy to bring the items back. The food was cold too and awful

Unfortunately the meal I received was Szchechuan and not Peking as I ordered. Lots of peppers which I hate. Should have been spicy tomato with onions and mushroom. But came with peppers. First time I have had any problems. Ate it anyway leaving peppers aside. Won’t stop me using them again as probably just a mistake. Food is normally spot on. Must be careful in future ir will have to go elsewhere which I don’t really want to do.
