I was looking for a solid Full English Breakfast on a lunch break - it's tough because most places stop serving breakfast beyond the morning. McCtaff's however absolutely delivered. Not only that but the food quality was really high and cooked to perfection! Highly recommend!

As if McCTaff’s couldn’t get any better, it’s making lockdown much more bearable by delivering the most delicious afternoon teas. Their scones, cakes and soups are amazing; the staff are so talented and their customer service is second to none. It is all really well priced and made with love.

BIG G'S Breakfast review. Excellent breakfast this morning. Upstairs in the Plaza part of the Crossing, on the House of Fraser side. The downsides were, I still don't understand the beans in a cup thing, but this was a big portion in a cute tea-cup 😊, and the coffee was nothing special. That having been said this was a really good breakfast. Top quality, thick bacon, nice quality sausages, well cooked egg, good mushrooms (not soaked in vinegar 😂), nice thick black pudding, only one slice of toast but it was ok. The staff were friendly & polite, the place itself is laid out well. Really nice to see on the next table tea being brought out in a proper teapot, little things 😊 Easy to see why this place started filling up while I was there. This could well be my 'go-to' breakfast in future. 4.5 out of 5

I went here when it first opened and I thought the coffee was awful, really weak. I am a coffee drinker and I have it black. I went here again today hoping that it had improved, sadly it has not, it was a really bad cup of coffee, when I looked around everyone else was drinking tea, I can understand why. It really isn't that difficult if you have a decent coffee machine to be able to make a decent cup of coffee!

This is easily the best eatery in Swindon bar none. We have enjoyed romantic afternoon teas as a couple; family lunches; work meetings with delicious cake and even a Halloween Party (we’ll be enjoying a Christmas Party here soon, too) and they’ve all been fantastic experiences. This is a really lovely family run business and the staff are exceptionally friendly. Everything we have tried (and my family and friends have tried) has been delicious. They also cater for vegans and coeliacs. Hands down the best afternoon tea you will find at a really reasonable price. We love this place!

Popped in for a late breakfast last weekend. Had always walked past this cafe and kept saying must go in and have a coffee. Ended up having the mini cooked breakfast and husband had cheese toasted sandwich. They were so nice. Staff lovely, all food cooked to order. Excellent price for meals and drinks. Cakes look amazing. So impressed went back again and met family for breakfast. This time had the full breakfast and also egg and beans on toast was ordered. Again food amazing. Gets very busy but that’s not hard to see why. Amazing food, great selection and service along with excellent value for money.

This was our second visit and, as we loved it so much the first time, we brought the family for afternoon tea. It is so delicious and so well priced that I cannot fathom why this place is not heaving all the time (although selfishly, I’m glad it isn’t!). Afternoon tea for one is £10 - a sandwich of your choice (no faffiness and weird ingredients so you don’t spend half your time debating with your partner which rubbish sandwich you’re each going to have), a drink, a scone of your choice with jam and cream, and a cupcake. The food is delicious, the cakes are amazing (the lady who bakes them is clearly some sort of genius!) - I even took a slice of the vegan chocolate cake home and loved that, too! The staff are incredibly friendly. The son of the lady who bakes the cakes, who seems to be the main person in there, is just so lovely. They seem like such a wonderful family and it’s so nice to see people like this doing well and doing what they love. This is going to be a regular haunt for us all now!

Over two years since we started visiting McCtaff’s regularly, it is still our favourite place to go. The team are excellent; they make you feel like one of the family, whether you’re a new customer or a regular. The food and drink on offer continues to delight, with the vegan options going from strength to strength. And you’re not charged extra for the privilege of having the title ‘vegan’ associated with your food or drink! Professional and friendly, McCtaff’s feels as though it could be part of a chain. It’s not. It’s a family run business which not only caters for customers, but provides a lovely venue in which to meet and make friends. A safe place to be, away from the hubbub of everyday life. If you haven’t visited yet, give it a go. If you’re a regular, I’ll see you there!

The veggie club sandwich was amazing. Cheese, hummus, peppers, tomatoes, lettuce. It was made with three slices of toast and came with coleslaw and olives. It was so good! The gluten free scone was great too. I'm not gluten intolerant, I just ordered it as it looked so good. More crumbly than a normal scone, but it had mixed spice and raisins so tasted brilliant.

Popped in today with a hungry tummy but not much time and was greeted by an array of gorgeous looking cakes and very friendly staff. We had a tea cake each and a cheese and ham toastie to share and a coffee. All bought out piping hot and very quickly despite there being 5 other full tables. The food was very tasty and good value for money. Chap on the till Very smiley and polite. Next time we are in Swindon we’ll pop back in. Thankyou!!

There’s always a lovely atmosphere in McCtaff’s. The staff team are friendly and very welcoming, whether you’re a regular visitor or a new customer. A wide range of savoury and sweet options is always on offer, including a brilliant vegan selection. McCtaff’s don’t make vegan dishes by simply removing ingredients, they use vegan replacements - such as vegan cheese, egg-free mayonnaise, and vegan spread. My particular favourite dishes are the wild mushroom soup, and the vegan club sandwiches. The vegan cakes range from lemon drizzle, to coffee and almond, to the most delicious cup cakes (just a few examples). If you want more than just a cup cake, or have a cake worthy occasion coming up, McCtaff’s also make cakes to order. Pop into the tea room and browse the photos of their creations, while enjoying a cup of tea!

We were just told about this place recently and being half Malaysian my ears pricked and we came as soon as we could, the menu is limited but what we had on it was excellent, the curry laksa, chicken curry puff and the special of the day Char kuey Teow was brilliant and tasted just as it had from Malaysia. The service was excellent and food is cooked frest so be prepared for a little wait, my mother and her friend and I will return to try the rest of the menu, can't wait until the special is nasi lemak.

It is the best place in Swindon to get a meal(breakfast, lunch, dinner or take away). Veri professional staf, friendly. from 10 out of 10 i would give them 11 that is how their service is. Amazing!

Unfortunately Regent Court was closed due to refurbishments and so was offering takeaways only. We were staying a stones throw away so used Deliveroo to order our dinner. We had the mixed starter, egg fried rice, smoked chicken, chicken with garlic and pepper and sweet and sour chicken HK style. Food was delivered swiftly and arrived hot. Portions are very generous, plenty of meat. Taste was good. The satay sauce in particular had a wonderful sweetness followed by a bite of spice! I always think a takeaway will always taste slightly inferior to the eat in experience so, as this takeaway was impressive as it stands, I am happy to award 5 stars to this establishment.

If you are looking for an evening filled with cocktails and sophistication then maybe Beni's isn't for you. If you want a relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff , efficient service , sensibly priced drinks , friendly locals and good bar side banter then this is the place to go. It reminded me of one of my favourite locals of yester year where everybody was up for the craic and very little was off limits . I spent most of the afternoon laughing , I really enjoyed myself Good work Beni's wine bar real places like this are getting harder to find .I'll be back
